Chapter 10: Backlash part 1 (Brock and Misty)
3rd Person POV
As the Grand Pokémon Championship is going to start soon, a few trainers begin to walk to the Ever Grande City to sign up. Some travelled in groups while others solo, right now we are focusing on two groups.
Group 1 POV: (group 1 consists of Max, Brock, Tracy, Gary and Cilan)
(Sigh) I hope Ash and Paul is going to join the tournament," sighed Brock.
"Yeah, we really need to apologies to them, I mean what kind of friends are we," said Tracy with regret.
"I still can't believe that the girls are still willing to follow Trip after what happened after we…forced Ash and Paul away," said Max.
"What can we do, Fan-Girls will always be Fan-Girls," said Gary.
(Says the guy that used to have many when he started his Pokémon journey) were the thoughts of the rest.
"Well let's rest here for the night, we can continue our trip to Ever Grande City," said Cilan as they just arrived at Lilycove City.
"Yeah," said the rest.
(Ash, Paul, we hope you can forgive us) were the thoughts of the group before they went to sleep.
Meanwhile with Group 2 (group 2 consist of Trip, Misty, Dawn, May and Iris)
"So girls, who do you think will win the tournament," said Trip with a tone that says that "I know the answer already."
"Why of course you babe," said Misty who was lying on his right shoulder.
"Yeah, not even the champions can win you, you're the strongest trainer we know," said Dawn while she is lying on Trip's left shoulder.
"So go and win dear," said May as she lies near Trip's right leg.
"Damn straight, by the way where is Iris," said and asked Trip.
"Oh she's taking her bath now," replied Misty.
(Hmm should i…nah I will rest now,) were the thoughts of Trip after Misty said that.
"So since it's night time, how about we cuddle and sleep," suggested Trip.
"Sure!" said all three girls at once. After they said that, they went to lay on the bed, with Iris joining in after she had finished bathing, but what the girls didn't know was that there was a small badge in Trip's pocket, a symbol of Team Chaos. (insert dramatic music)
Flashback: 3 years ago
Brock's POV:
"Hmm I wonder what is Mom, Dad and the rest doing," I said while slowly walking back home, after what happened with Ash and Paul. As I reach the entrance of Pewter City, I saw Dad and the rest of the family standing.
I was happy so I quickly walk till I reached my dad.
"Dad, it's so good to see you," I said as I'm going to hug him but then he pushed me away, making me fall and land on the ground.
"Sorry I don't accept hugs from traitors," said My dad angrily.
"Ouch, what did you mean by that?" asked I while trying to pat away the pain.
"we know what you did to Ash and Paul," said Forrest.
"How could you to do," said Cindy with tears in her eyes.
"You're a big meanie," said Salvadore.
"Wait I can explain…." I said while trying to explain to the rest but then Dad decided to cut me off.
"Don't need, from now on you are no longer a part of this family," said Dad.
"What! You can't do this to me," I shouted with disbelieve in my voice as I couldn't believe my family would just kick me out.
"Yes I can, as the head of the family, I as able to kick out any member with valid reasons," said Dad.
"But wait, what about mom, surely she would disagree with this," I said with desperation as this is my final card to play.
"Your mom agreed to this when we were discussing this, she doesn't want you to influence your siblings as well," said Dad, destroying all my hope of staying.
"Fine, I will leave," I agreed while suddenly realizing about what have I done to Ash and Paul, I then start to regret doing it but I realized something was wrong as my Family then looked at me with worry.
"Brock, BROCK!" Dad Called out.
"Big Brother!" shouted the rest of my siblings as well.
I didn't know why were they calling out to me, then when I looked down, I saw a black mist around my body, then it quickly left my body. When it left, I felt pain all over my body.
3rd Person POV
After the black aura left Brock's body, Brock just collapsed on the floor, not moving which scared his family into rushing towards him and trying to wake him up.
"Big Brother please wake up!" cried all his younger siblings
"Son, son wake up," said his father worriedly before he took out a pokeball and threw it.
"Go Machamp!" said his father.
"Ma!"
"Carry my son gently," ordered Brock's Father.
"Ma!" said the Machamp as it slowly carried Brock with two arms.
"Let's go," said Brock's father as he slowly walked back home. All the kids nodded their head as they followed while looking at Brock with worry.
A While Later at night
"Argh," groaned Brock as he slowly wakes up.
"Big Brother! Son!" said His sibling and Parents
"What happened?" asked Brock weakly.
"You fainted after we told you what we were gonna do," said His Dad.
"Huh really, I don't remember much," said Brock as he slowly rubs his head.
"You ok son?" asked his mom worryingly.
"yeah, just a small headache," said Brock as he doesn't want his family to worry him.
"Hmm, do you remember what you did to Ash and Paul?" asked His dad.
"Not Really, I can remember it but it felt like I wasn't in control of my body at that time," said Brock truthfully.
"Hmm, are you sure about that," said Brock's Dad with a thoughtful look.
"Yeah I'm sure, why?" said and asked Brock.
"Because I think I know what happened to you, now this maybe not the truth as it's just a theory," said Brock's dad.
"Before that, kids please leave the room, this is grown up talk," said Brock's dad.
"Okay," said the kids as they left the room.
"What is it Honey?" asked Brock's mom.
"I think Brock was controlled by hypnosis by a Pokémon," said Brock's dad.
"Are you sure dear?" asked Brock's Mom.
"Yeah dad, if that happened I would assume that I will remember it," said Brock.
"Yes I'm sure, because what you describe have been recorded before, and it's a case of Pokémon casting hypnosis on human," explained Brock's dad.
"Oh…..." said both Brock and his mom.
"But then why I don't remember it plus I'm pretty sure I didn't encounter any wild Pokémon when I went to Ash's house?" asked and said Brock.
"Hmmm I think you don't remember is because whoever control the Pokémon told you to forget about it and before you say it couldn't be a person, the case I said early is solved as apparently, the victim was controlled by his rival," explained Brock's dad.
"But then who would do such a thing to me, I mean I didn't anger anyone on my journey," asked and said Brock.
"Then it might be you," said Brock's mom.
"What do you mean mom?" asked Brock.
"You forgotten Ash had made quite a lot of enemies during his journey, some you know of," said Brock's dad.
"Yeah but why target me?" asked Brock.
"Because Ash is strong yes, but do you know why is he strong?" said and asked Brock's mom.
"Because of the bonds of friendship right," said Brock realizing it immediately.
"Yeah and by breaking it, it might break Ash's sprit," finished Brock's mom.
"but then which enemy of Ash's is still out there, I mean there is a lot," asked and said Forrest.
"Let's see, Team Magma, Team Aqua all are in jail, Team Galactic is disbanded as Cyrus is stuck in an alternate realm, Team Plasma has split into two, with the evil one arrested, and that leaves…." Said Brock as he realized.
"Team Rocket!" said all of them at once.
"But I thought they went underground after failing so many times," said Brock's dad.
"We all thought so, but now if they are the one doing so, that means they are returning," said Brock.
"Yeah and they are now making a statement," said Brock's mom.
"But we can't report this to the authorities since we have no prove plus Brock will be arrested for using a pokemon to attack Ash and Paul," said Brock's dad.
"…...Damn it, but then now what?" said and asked Brock.
"Now, you can go and check tomorrow if the others are affected as well, or find Ash and Paul, then apologized and explain," suggested Brock's mom.
"Yeah I will, after I rest a bit, I'm still feeling dizzy," said Brock.
"ok, and by the way, you aren't kicked out of the family," said Brock's dad.
"Really?!" said Brock surprised.
"Yes, since it's technically wasn't your fault, but still we want you to apologized ok," said Brock's mom.
"I know and thanks mom, dad," said Brock while wiping away some of his tears.
"ok, well rest well son," said Brock' mom before kissing brock's forehead and left the room.
"Yeah rest well son," said Brock's dad as he ruffled brock's hair before following his wife.
"I will," said Brock before slowly lying back down and close his eyes.
Meanwhile with Misty
Misty pov:
"Damn those bitches, who cares about the gym, all I need is Trip" I said angrily while walking away from Cerulean City.
"Yeah, Trip is the strongest trainer in the world, so why should I care about a stupid gym job when I can be with him," I said while not noticing I was surrounded by a black aura and it becomes bigger and bigger.
"I know, I will go and find him, then follow him since he is a Real Man unlike the ones I know," I said while the black aura suddenly went into my body.
"Trip, babe, wait for me," I said while running off into the unknown.
Earlier
"Heh, now Ash is gone, I can focus on becoming a Water Pokemon Master," I said while just reaching the front of Cerulean City. I expected there will be a line in front of the gym due to my sisters show but I was surprised there was none, instead there is a long line in front of the Pokemon center with trainers holding their unconscious pokemons.
"Excuse me, what happened to your pokemons?" I asked curiously to one of the trainers.
"Oh, it's you, well your sisters apparently is taking their job seriously now, we all thought it was a joke but who knew they weren't," said a young boy holding his unconscious Weedle.
"Wait what!" I shouted.
"Sheesh, I'm just here you know, you don't have to shout," said the boy while rubbing his ears. But I didn't care instead I quickly ran towards the gym. When I reached the front I saw another young boy leaving while carrying his unconscious Rattata, he was led by Lily. Lily was wearing a bikini that shows her figure. (From the manga, "The Electric Tales of Pikachu".)
I could hear her telling the boy that he tried his best and they will accept a rematch anytime while not sounding arrogant, instead they sound like a how a master talk towards the student.
"Thank you," said the young boy as he quickly went to the pokemon center.
"Lily, what are you doing?" I asked after the boy left and I quickly went in front of her.
"Hello Misty," said Lily but I could hear a lot of hatred from her voice but I don't know any reason why would she hate me, I mean I didn't steal her dolls collection nor did I mess with her make up.
I then follow her into the gym where I saw Daisy and Violet standing on My Gym Platform looking serious. At first I couldn't believe it but after a while I realized they were serious as the gym now looks like a real water gym as all the performance items are gone.
"Oh the runt Is back," said Violet but with the same tone as Lily.
"So what are you doing back here, I thought you wanted to become stronger?" asked Daisy with a sarcastic tone.
"I am, just wanting to check up on you guys, seem like you guys are doing fine," I said with the same tone.
"Well how nice of you, maybe you should do so with one of your pokemon attacking us," said Daisy sarcastically and angrily. After she said that, I started to pale.
"Wait you knew?" I asked hesitantly.
"Of course, we know, what did you think we won't check on you when you left to train," said Violet.
"But how?" I asked.
"Easy, Wingull, come here please," called out Lily. Which then a Wingull with a video camera strapped to its chest came flying down and landed on her shoulder.
"This little guy has been following you since you first left with Ash and Brock," said Daisy.
"At first, we were happy for you as you discovered and learned many things from your journey, until today that is as we saw what you and the rest did and disappointment is the least that you can describe about how are we feeling right now," explained Violet.
"Wait I can explained," I started but before I can finish saying, Lily interrupted me by saying, "Don't need, we already sent the video to Professor Oak and the Pokemon League, so form now onwards you are no longer the Cerulean Gym Leader."
"You Can't Do That!" I shouted as I can't believe they would do this to me.
"We already did, and the League has decided that we three will be the Cerulean Gym Leader from now onwards," said Lily.
"Then I challenged you three for the position," I declared while pointing my finger at them.
"Sure, we accept," said Lily after getting nods from Daisy and Violet.
"3 on 3 sound fair," I said while thinking I can win back my gym position from them as I know I have stronger pokemons than them.
"Sure, we already have our pokemon at full health, what about yours?" asked Daisy.
"Don't worry, I already healed them before coming here," I said while remembering going to the pokemon center at Viridian City to heal my team.
"Ok I will referee," said Violet.
"Ok, sure," me and Lily said after Violet said that.
3rd Person POV
"Ok this a battle between Misty and Lily Waterflower for the position of Gym Leader of Cerulean City, this will be a 3 on 3 battle," announced Violet.
"Go Starmie," said Misty as she released her signature pokemon.
"Star"
"Heh, I know you would start with Starmie, that's why I choose you," said Lily as she throws her pokemon to unleash her pokemon. As the light revealed a Lanturn.
"Lan"
"When did you catch a Lanturn?" asked and shouted Misty.
"A Month after you left for Johto," said Violet.
"Anyway, Starmie use Psychic now," commanded Misty.
"Star" said Starmie as its glowed blue and unleashed a blue wave towards Lanturn.
"Lanturn, counter it with Thunderbolt," said Lily.
"Lan" said Lantern before releasing a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from its body towards the blue wave. As both move hits each other and created a thick cloud of dust, Lily quickly took her chance.
"Now Lantern use Shock-Wave since Starmie can't see" commanded Lily.
"Lan," said Lanturn before charges a blue ball of electricity near it's orb, and fires a beam of electricity from the ball into the fog, hitting Starmie.
"Star!" cried Starmie as it took the hit badly.
"Starmie, hang in there," cried Misty.
"Now since you know he is, Lanturn use Thunderbolt now!" shouted Lily.
"Lan" said Lanturn as it once again released a bolt of electricity from it body towards where Starmie was.
"Starmie dodge it!" shouted Misty worriedly as she knows if it hits Starmie will lose.
"Star," said Starmie weakly but before it can move, the move struck hard. Causing Starmie to cry loudy before fainting.
"Starmie is unable to continue, the winner is Lanturn," said Violet.
"Return Starmie," said Misty coldly, making her sisters to look at her with a little more hate.
"Let's Go Politoad," said Misty, releasing her second pokemon.
"Poli" said Politoad.
"Ok Lanturn, you did well, time for a rest," said Lily as she returns Lanturn to it pokeball.
"I choose you!" said Lily as she throws her second pokeball, to release a Kingdra.
"King" said Kingdra.
"How the hell you guys got a Kingdra!" shouted Misty.
"We know people who is willing to trade," said Daisy.
"….. Politoad use Hypnosis," said Misty.
"Poli" said Politoad as he begins to waves his hands, releasing multiple multicolored circles from its face towards Kingdra.
"Kindra dodge it with Agility," said Lily calmly.
"King" said Kindra as he swerves back and forth through the water at great speed to dodge the attack.
"Grr Politoad use Ice-Beam to stop its track," said Misty angrily.
"Counter it with your own Ice-Beam," said Lily.
"Poli," "King" said both pokemon as they charge a light-blue ball in their mouth before firing at the same time. When both ball of power hit each other, it cause a massive shockwave which knocked back both.
"King!" "Poli!" cried both pokemon.
"Kindra, you alright?" asked Lily.
"Politoad come on," said Misty.
"King" "Poli" said both pokemon as they slowly stand up.
"Now Politoad use Brick-Break," commanded Misty.
"Poli" said Politoad as his arm glows white and he rushed towards Kingdra.
"Kingdra use Dragon-Dance to dodge it before using Outrage to hit him," said Lily.
"King" said Kindra as his body becomes surrounded in a red and pink misty aura, then he moved out of Politoad's attack aim, before his eyes glow red and its body is outlined in a red aura in which he charge towards Politoad, hitting him hard.
"Poli" cried Politoad before fainting.
"Politoad is unable to continue, winner is Kingdra," announced Violet,"
"Return Politoad," said Misty angrily while returning Politoad as she can't believe she is losing to her sisters.
"now time for my trump card, let's go Gyarados," said Misty as she released her strongest pokemon.
"Gyra!" roared Gyarados.
"Ok since you are using your strongest, so shall I, return Kingdra," said Lily as she returns her Kingdra before taking out a Great ball.
"let's go, my strongest Partner," said Lily as she throws the Great-Ball to release a Milotic.
"Mi"
"WHEN THE FUCK DID YOU GET A MILOTIC, I TRIED SO HARD TO EVEN SEE ONE!" screamed Misty
"We know some people who are willing to give a Feebas to us and after caring for it, it evolve to Milotic," explained Daisy.
"Grrrr, Gyarados use Hyper-beam now!" shouted Misty.
"Milotic, use Protect,' said Lily calmly.
"Gyra!" "Mi" said Gyarados charge up and shoots out a yellow-orange beam from his mouth towards Milotic who quickly glowed out a green force field that appears around Milotic's body, protecting her from the attack.
"Gyarados use Bite," said Misty
"Gyra!" said Gyarados who tried to move to attack but then he flinched before he stopped moving.
"Hah, you forgotten that Hyper-Beam is a move that will make the pokemon unable to attack after using," said Lily.
"Milotic use Attract now," continued Lily.
"Mi" said Milotic before she winks at the Gyarados and releases several pink hearts that surround him. The hearts then circle around and shrink into the Gyarados's body, causing it to fall in love with Milotic.
"Shit Gyarados attack now, use Hydro-Pump," cursed Misty.
"Gyra" said Gyarados before hitting himself.
"heh, that's cute Milotic use Disarming-Voice to win," said Lily.
"Mi" said Milotic as she opens her mouth and releases a beam of purple hearts in a loud shrieking voice, hitting Gyarados head on.
"Gyra!" cried Gyarados before fainting.
"Gyarados is unable to continue, the winner is Milotic and Lily," announced Violet.
"Stupid Pokemons, can't they do something right!" screamed Misty angrily, which caused her sisters to look at her with so much hate, you can see that they are gonna beat up Misty. Then Daisy walk right to Misty and slapped her hard.
"OW why you did that for Bitch," said Misty while holding her face.
"I can't believe you are even related to us," said Daisy while walking away.
"Don't worry Daisy, since she lost the battle and the video is already at the Mr. Goodshows's hand, she can never be gym leader again,' said Violet.
"YOU CAN" T DO THAT!" screamed Misty.
"We already did and Plus we have proof of you using pokemon to attack people plus you also treat your pokemon badly," said Lily.
"So, who cares about that, pokemon are tools not friends, they aren't human," said Misty.
"…...if you think like that, then you shouldn't be a trainer anymore, heck you shouldn't even be one in the first place," said Daisy angrily.
"Plus if you want to be like that, then you are no longer our sister," said Lily.
"So leave, but your pokemon stays," said Violet coldly.
"Fine! I don't need them anyway,' said Misty as she throws all her pokeball in front of her and quickly ran out of the gym.
"(Sigh) how did she end up like that?" asked Daisy.
"I don't know, but now not's the time to talk about her, we need check if the others of her pokemon are ok," said Lily.
Now
(Ring, Ring) was the sound heard before Misty took out her pokegear and checked who was calling her, to her joy it was Trip.
"hey babe, where are you?" asked Misty.
"Somewhere near Cerulean City, want me to pick you up?" asked Trip.
"Yes!" squealed Misty.
"Ok, meet you soon," said Trip.
"Bye Babe," said Misty, hanging up the call.
Meanwhile with Trip
Trip's Pov
"heh, 1 fan-girl down, many more to go," I said while remembering my mission from my boss.
