Sasuke was slowly waking up to the sounds of hushed whispers; he quickly opened his eyes, "Naruto." He gasped out before he groaned in pain. Kakashi and Sakura quickly rush to his side seeing him awake. "Sasuke, Are you okay? They drained almost all of your chakra. You almost died," said Sakura in a sugar coated voice. He just stared at her before remembering the fight. Naruto left… With Orochimaru. "Sasuke, did you see what happened to Naruto?" Kakashi asked in a fatherly tone, knowing about the boy's newfound relationship.
Sasuke looked at the ground; if he said that Naruto left with him willingly he would be made into a traitor by the council. He looked up determined to save Naruto from the hateful village "Orochimaru captured him; we have to go save him." Sakura's face screwed up into a scowl. "No I saw him, he left with Orochimaru willingly. Kakashi I don't think Sasuke could possible remember what happened in his condition." Kakashi let out a small sigh. He knew what was going to happen when they got back to the village. Naruto would be hunted down like an animal, and possibly killed.
He looked up at the sky before remembering Obitos words. 'A person that abandons a mission is scum, but someone who abandons their teammates is worse than scum.' He looked at Sasuke and Sakura, "We will hunt down Naruto for 2 days, if we can't find him in that time we will go back to the village and say he was captured, we will not say he left willingly because he might of went to save our lives. Sasuke I want you to go back to the base and see what you can find, Sakura and I will look in the surrounding forest. We will meet back here at night time."
Sasuke didn't even wait for two seconds; after Kakashi said those words he was gone. He got to the base in record speed. He knew that Naruto wasn't their but he wanted to see what we behind that door. He walked slowly through the base. His mind was only on Naruto, 'He left me, why would he go with that snake bastard?' He looked up at the door as he finally arrived to it. He suddenly felt very anxious, not being able to handle it he quickly opened the door and threw himself through it. He suddenly wished that he had not come here; he wanted to be home by himself. He got the same sight as Naruto, but he understood it more. He saw the obsession, the lust, and thee want to hurt.
This was Orochimarus base so it was very obvious who wanted the blond. He suddenly felt fear, for the first time, over what was going to happen to Naruto. He was with a monster; he looked around the room and saw the pile of vomit in the corner of the room. 'Naruto was here, he saw this, and he still went with him? There must be some sort of trick.' He walked up closer to the pictures and realized not all of them were of Naruto; the ones with the symbols he just assumed were Naruto. He finally realized that Narutos transformation could possibly be caused by Orochimaru.
Sasuke ran out of the lair and back into the woods, he felt like he could breathe again. He looked up at the sky and realized the day was half-way over, he had some time to track down Naruto. He took off in the opposite direction for Kakashi and Sakura and just kept running, stopping occasionally to try and sense the blond's chakra.
After almost two hours of running he suddenly felt a strong chakra that he recognized at the new chakra Naruto had he quickly ran towards it. When get got close to it he slowed down making sure Orochimaru wasn't around, when get couldn't sense a second chakra he walked up to Naruto.
When Sasuke approached Naruto he stopped to take in his beauty. He was sitting on a tree limb with his legs crossed and his hands atop of his knees, his eyes were closed, he had a peaceful expression, even with his enlarged fangs sticking out of his mouth. The halo of fire was still above his head but it was a pure white fire now, making his blonde and red hair shine so beautifully. His fox ears stood on top of his head proud and his tails behind his back slightly flicked and swayed. Sasuke approached him slowly not wanting to startle him. Even while trying to be quite he was detected, as Narutos blood red eyes snapped open before softening at who was in front of him.
"Sasuke, you came for me." He said with a small smile. "Of course I would Naruto, I love you. So please come back with me, whatever Orochimaru did to you we will work it out together." "I can't. If I don't get this reversed before me and Kyuu fully merge I will be stuck like this forever. I can't be a monster forever."
Sasuke looked at Naruto with hard eyes, "If you won't come with me willingly I will force you back. I am not about to lose you." He slowly formed his Sharigan before realizing Naruto was no longer in front of him. He was behind him, and he grabbed him. "I'm so sorry Sasuke, please keep the others away from me, he will kill them. I can't stop him again. But before I go, you need to know this, Sakura is working with Orochimaru, and she told him where the camp was. You need to stop her, but not now. His men will protect her as they made a deal. When you get back to the village warn the Hokage." Sasukes mind whirled at the new information. He knew she was a bitch but to betray the village. "What about you? What are you going to do?" He asked Naruto. "I have to leave now, I only had a few minutes I could see you," With that he turned Sasuke around and lightly kissed him on the cheek. "I love you too." He said before Sasukes world went black.
Naruto stood over his loves limp body sadly. He gently picked him up and leaned his back up against a tree. 'I am so sorry Sasuke. I had to do this. I will come back to you one day.' He took a kunai and carved a small heart in front of Sasuke, hoping he would see it when he got up. "Sasuke!" He heard Kakashi call out. He ran away from them, he had to catch up with Orochimaru. He quickly masked his chakra so they couldn't follow him.
Kakashi and Sakura quickly found Sasukes passed out body, when they saw the heart they knew what happened. Sakura scowled at the heart, while Kakashi felt his heart break. 'He must feel like he is running from love, poor two, fate has really hurt them.' Kakashi looked off into the direction he assumed Naruto went, 'I hope you are doing what's right.'
