"I'm a werewolf also known as a Lycanthrope", Fang said slowly. He was being cautious and just in case she decided to run he was ready to chase.
"A werewolf?" she asked, "howling at the moon, changing forms and eating humans?"
"More or less. I was born a werewolf and I come from a long line of ancient werewolf's who are also alphas and have certain extra abilities."
"Ok, just start off from the beginning" she said
"You're taking this very well" Fang noticed as he relaxed a fraction.
"I'm trying to keep it together you know. It's not every day that you see beings turn into animals and fight to the death."
"Yes well you are right but keep in mind that I told you that you would be in danger for helping me."
"Duly noted", she said as she sighed and signaled him with her hand to continue.
"Okay well a werewolf is a mythological creature or folklore human with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. Some refer it as a curse and others a blessing," he started.
"What do you see it as?" Skyler asked while she chewed on her bottom lip.
"Not sure yet but it's definitely close to being a curse"
"How so?"
"Will you let me finish?" he asked with a raised eyebrow and smirked as she put up both hands in surrender.
"Your forgiven. So unlike human theory about us changing only on the full moon we change whenever we want to. With every pack there is an Alpha, Luna and Beta."
"I know what an Alpha is but not the other two."
"A Beta is basically the Alpha's right hand man. His commander and chief. If something were to happen to the Alpha, then the Beta is thus left in charge unless said otherwise."
"Okay so what is a Luna?"
"Don't worry about that."
"But- "
"I said don't worry about it. It's not important what a Luna is right now. I'll tell you later when we reach our destination."
"Which is where exactly?'
"You'll see once we get there." And with that Fang sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Ready to go?"
"I have a choice?"
"No"
