So…last chapter for a bit, at least until my new computer arrives and that shouldn't be too long.

Yuuki fidgeted more the longer she stood in front of me. Neither of us had said a word to each other yet and the silence was getting a bit suffocating. Deciding I couldn't take it any longer, "So are you going to actually talk to me or just stand there like a log all day." Her reaction was instantaneous, immediately punching me in the chest. "Ow Yuuki, what the hell?"
She giggled,"Zero, you're such a meanie sometimes." Then her grinned slowly disappeared. "I'm glad to see you're better. I'm sorry about my reaction a couple days ago."
"You're not the one who should be sorry idiot," I ignored her 'hey, "I'm the one that had fed off of you so violently. If anyone is sorry it should be me."
"Who are you and what have you done with Zero," she said, looking at me in false awe. "Still I'm sorry Zero I knew what I was getting myself into that night when I went to you. I knew you'd be hungry, I guess I just didn't think you'd be that hungry." She smiled sheepishly at me when I glared at her. "I forgive you Zero, it was partly my fault you lost control that night, but I just couldn't leave you to suffer in pain from your blood lust. The other night I was just kind of surprised to see you, especially after you tried to kill yourself, which I'm still mad at you for that. I'm not scared of you Zero." She looked at me with a gentle smile and I smiled softly back at her, glad to have the idiot back in my life, though I'd get another punch if I said that out loud. "Anyway, so you and Kaname-sempai huh?" she said smiling at me like the devious brat she was.
"Aren't you upset that your precious hero is coming after this bad-tempered jerk?" I teased her.
"Hey," she said giving me another punch. "Honestly, I'm kind of happy that you have someone that wants to be there for you and wants to be by your side. You're always alone and so I glad that someone wants to end your loneliness. Sure I love Kaname-sempai, but I love you to Zero and if by being together will make you both happy. Then I am happy for you and will not stand in your way."
"When did you become so useful," I teased," but thanks Yuuki. I make no promises though. He's still a bastard."
She laughed at me, "Somehow, I believe that that is one of the reasons he likes you. Anyway I should be getting back, it's getting late. See you tomorrow Zero."
"See you useless," I smirked at her when she stuck her tongue out at me. I watched her leave before giving my attention back to Lily who seemed upset that I had ignored her. Whispering a quiet sorry to her I laid down next to her in her stall, gently petting her. "Things are about to get interesting Lily." All I got in response was a slight snort from her and her nuzzling my hair. Laughing at her, I laid against her figuring that Kaname could kiss my ass if I was a little bit late getting back to the dorms and with that thought, I promptly fell asleep with Lily dutifully watching over me.
Elsewhere….
"Soon Kaname, the world you trid so hard to build will come crumbling down around you and your precious Yuuki will be mine. Everything you hold dear and love will be mine," a sinister grin spread across the figure lips, "I will crush you like the ant you are and make you watch as I drain the blood from your precious 'sister'." Then the figure turned away from the window chuckling as he went, promising that Kaname Kuran would fall along with the rest of Cross Academy until both were ashes beneath his feet.
Dun Dun Dun (Cue the sloth from The Croods!) Shorter chapter, and like I said surprises were coming. Let me know of what you think by reviewing! Yay reviewing! Seriously though, I appreciate all the feedback so far, you guys make my confidence higher which is the reason this story is as far along as it is. Just a heads up, I plan on this story being around 30 chapters. I wrote out a plan so far and I planned out around 35 chapters, but that was a couple months ago so who knows guess we'll find out together.
