"Could this day move any slower!?" Juliet was perched on the rooftop of the Brooklyn Lodging House. Like the night before, her legs were swung over the side. It was a windy day and Juliet's curly brown hair flew all around her. In her hands she held the flower she wore in her hair at the party. For some reason, that flower reminded her of her Romeo. Which also reminded her of her best friend, Snap, and how she was running so late with the news from her love.
The door leading up to the roof and Snap tumbled through, panting as she did back in Manhattan. "Man, I'se really need ta start workin' out." She said. "SNAP!" Juliet cried as she ran over to her friend.
Not thinking of her friend's long journey, Juliet began talking at a rapid speed, expecting answer right away. "Juliet." Snap said sternly. "You'se is gonna let me sit before I'se start talkin'."
The young brunette helped her exhausted blonde friend to the edge of the roof, allowing her to sit and take a breath before shooting out questions. "Did you'se find him? What did he say? What did you say? DOES YOU'SE HAVE NEWS FOR ME?!" Juliet jumped up and down like a little kid.
"Oh my aching head!" Exclaimed Snap as she drastically lay down on the ledge. "I think I'se sees the light Juliet. Dis is the end!" Juliet just rolled her eyes at her theatrical friend. "My dearest, dahlingest friend Snap, please talk to me about your trip ta Manhattan. Tell me what Romeo said!" the anxious girl pleaded.
"Where is your sister?" Snap asked as she sat up. "Notes, uh, I don't know, probably with Spot at the docks. C'mon Snap just tell me! You'se is stallin'!" cried Juliet.
"OKAY. Go to Manhattan and meet at Medda Larkin's theatre. You can get ready there before you make your way down the street to St. Sebastian's Church where your dahling Romeo will be waiting for you." Snap rolled her eyes at the word darling. She laid back down, clearly annoyed by her friend's impatient attitude. Juliet squealed happily and hugged her friend. "Thank you! Thank you Snap! Wish me luck!"
