Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater
So for the long wait.

Maka made it home late that night, it took a long time for Black*star and her to get the feel of her new form. Maka was able to maintain it pretty well and Black*star was getting the groove on how to fight with it. Lord Death said that soon enough they could go on missions on their own. Of course they would have to say they were doing something else but when they get to it they get to it.
"Soul I'm home!" she yelled tossing her coat onto the couch before waving at the shadows where Black*star was no doubt hiding away watching her. She grinned; it was kind of nice to be close with him again.
"Where have you been?" Soul asked from the kitchen where he was eating take out food. He gestured to the other side where her food was. She picked it up and went to join in on the meal.
"Extra work for class." She said before stuffing a large portion into her mouth. Soul raised an eyebrow at her.
"Again, you've been doing that a lot lately. I don't think you need it, or ever did." Albino pointed a fork at her. "This is really uncool and soon you're going to be a vampire who can't go out in the sun . . . though then again you may like that I suppose."
Maka twitched slightly, "Have you been reading me books?"
Soul grinned, "Nope, but I have seen your 'secret' stash of movies under the couch."
The blonde blushed slightly, "They weren't secretly stashed there."
"Oh, then why did the box say 'Soul keep out' and was buried where no one would usually go." The male scoffed.
Maka didn't answer him instead she finished her food quickly then ran to her room and locked it.
She collapsed on the bed as soon as she got to it.
###############DREAM/MEMORY###########
A seven year old Maka was running through the halls of DWMA waving high to the older kids that she knew (and being there all the time she knew most of them). They all yelled as she passed that is she was looking for Black*star he was in the gym training. Black*star was always training in the ways of the ninja or just fighting and it took time away from them hanging out. So Maka was going to do something that she never thought she would do.
"Star!" she grinned as she got to the door of the gym. He was there punching the dummy as hard as he could. Hearing her, the seven year old boy turned around.
"Maka?" he asked. "What are you doing here? You know I train right now."
The blond nodded her head enthusiastically. "Yep."
"Then why did you come." The blue haired boy questioned walking over to her.
"Well. . ." the girl shifted from foot to foot.
"Well? Well what?"
She was silent for a minute before she continued a little loud, "I want to train too."
The little boy was silent for a while staring at her. It made her shift from foot to foot in nervousness. Finally he sighed, "This isn't a joke Maka."
Maka stamped her foot, "Of course it isn't. Mama is strong, Daddy is strong, Uncle Stein is strong, Uncle Sid is strong, and so is Aunt Nygus; and I want to be as strong as them."
"What about me?" Black*star whined.
Maka grinned "What about you?"
"I'm the strongest!" Black*star pouted.
"Well I just said I wanted to train and if you were REALLY strong you would train me yourself. I want to learn from the best. And since you aren't teaching me I guess you aren't the best." Maka turned. "Oh well, I guess I gotta find Uncle Sid."
Before she got a few steps Black*star was pinning her to the ground. "I am so the strongest! I will best God one day!"
"Star!"
"What? Can't handle this, then you shouldn't train."
"I haven't yet; I want you to TEACH me." She whined.
"Why? I protect you from the bullies already; do you not want to be friends with me anymore?"
"That's not it!" Maka shook her head. "You can't always be there, so I want to be able to take them on my self. Besides when we grow up and you become a super hero I want to help you fight the bad guys."
"Really?"
"Uh huh!"
"Then let's train, together."
And with that Black*star started to show her the moves that he knew, and he wasn't an easy teacher but that was why Maka loved his 'classes'. She had to work hard, she had to try hard and it didn't matter that her parents were the top team of Lord Death. They trained long and hard from then on and Sid taught Maka some things to.
#############END OF DREAM/MEMORY#########
Maka grinned in her sleep and curled into the covers some more.
