I hate to be "that author," but I'm getting tired of hearing this in more or less every review.
I certainly do know that Sakura has pink hair. There are several reasons I changed it, I did have a plan that I might decide to divert from since everyone started complaining on the lack of pink hair.
I'm assuming that the negative reviewers haven't been part of an upper class. I have, and the series is about the upper class. I wanted to stay true to the social class and the characters social standing, at least in the start. Pink hair does not cut it. Yes, it's become more acceptable. Blair as a character is traditional, pink hair isn't. This is Gossip Girl with Naruto characters, and I want to be true to the Gossip Girl part.
I also think that reviewing negative comments as guest readers is pretty feeble and pathetic. So this is the last time I'll address these negative reviews. I'll admit that these aren't the worst, the worst are removed. I've also received some rather crude PMs. Uncalled for.
Hano: "Gosh Sakura's gair color is pink not brown... this idk i only read because it has sakura from naruto not this brunette."
I'm glad that you're reading my story and I hope you're still able to enjoy it even with the lacking pink hair. There will be more focus on Sakura further on in the story and I hope to stay true to her character and personality with or without pink hair. If you want to continue reading you're more than welcome to comment if I do some mistakes regarding Sakura in the future. I must admit I'm far from an expert.
Guest: "I never read/watch GG but as an otaku... I prefer sakura's natural pink hair. Unless it was dyed brown."
I understand that you would have liked her better with pink hair. I haven't ruled it out as a future upgrade. I haven't specified her natural hair color so a comeback isn't out of the picture. Also guessing otaku means hardcore fan or something?
Guest 2: "Why did you change Sakura's NATURAL hair color but let Hinata has
violet hair? Haruno Sakura known for her pink hair and green eyes if you
want her to look like Blair's duplicate you better have Tenten, I meant
she doesn't need to change her brown hair and eyes. Wonder if you
changed Kakashi's hair color too. Seems like only blonde & brunette
anime characters are allowed to stay to their 'true' appearance. No, I'm
complaining because I'm huge Sakura's fan, I know unleash your
imagination but to change Kishi's character? Dude please, have some
respect for the creator."
I never once in my story wrote that pink was not her natural hair color, this was done for a reason. I had a plan with the hair change, but with my butthurt I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it brown or not. Hinata has kept her violet hair because it's more natural. I picked characters based on coupling and personality. So don't just assume when I've already explained why I picked Sakura as Blair. I'm pretty sure I haven't changed her eyes, if I have that's a slip and I'll apologize for that. Her green eyes are amazing and I do really love them, especially as a green eyed woman myself. Not only brown and blond hair is allowed in my story, then you've missed out on some vital parts and I suggest you reread it if you like. I've only change one thing about one character.
"Dude please, have some respect for the creator."
I suggest you follow up on your own advice. You're totally respectless when it comes to me and my writing. Kishi is probably unable to sleep and constantly weeping because I changed one thing on one of the characters in a fanfic.
I might come off as some insulted bitch, and I frankly do not care. I do not need several reviews each chapter to remind me I gave a character a different hair color. Something that I actually planed on changing back. I'm able to handle the criticism because I'm secure about myself and my writing. Others might not be, and many use writing as an outlet like me. Please, be considerate towards others, not everybody handles it well.
The PMs I've gotten is nothing compared to the reviews. I've also experienced these type of non-constructive negative and frankly mean reviews on my other stories as well. This is a negative culture and trend that's growing and I don't want to be part of it. If I've made mistakes or if there's something I could do better, please tell me. I respond very well to negative criticism that is constructive. That I'm stupid, shouldn't be allowed to write and ruined a story because of one of the characters has the wrong hair color according to you is stupid, mean, insensitive and uncalled for.
I'll stop postingnew chapters and new stories if this trend keeps on. I write for myself and post on this page in hope that someone will enjoy my stories. I do not post to hear twenty people whine and insult me. It's time to grow up and think twice before you comment. Always be considerate and kind.
