I own nothing as always, enjoy!
-(It is TIME for the next chapter -Phil)-
It was 3:32 a.m. in Hawaii, Shamal was tucked comfortably in his bed with twin handprints glowing red on his cheeks, and all was right with the world. At 3:33 a.m. the roof caved in, a piece of wood sacked Shamal, and when he looked up from his fetal position of agony, there was a dirt bike driving itself over to Skull's half of the resort shack.
If Shamal hadn't been in suck excruciating pain, he might have passed it off as the most bizarre dream of his life. Except he was in pain, and now there were mosquitoes in his room. He'd be sure to question Skull about this shortly, just as soon as his voice returned.
Meanwhile at Skull's underground hideout, it was 2:32 p.m. Reborn, Collonello, and Lal were standing in a remarkable foyer, purple accents decorated the large room but all in all the décor was very tasteful. It was unexpected considering Skull's pension for the extreme. Then, at 2:33 p.m. tiny people with big eyes, pink skin, and very floppy ears appeared out of thin air and were offering them refreshments. Everything was not okay.
Reborn had had enough. He grabbed the closest person by the shoulders and looked them in the eyes. "Where is Skull?" he demanded. The pink person flailed.
"Dimples is sorry Mister Master's Friend! Dimple's does not know!" it (she?) exclaimed, before disappearing with a pop.
"That was incredibly rude of you!" William reprimanded Reborn. "I brought you here since you are looking for the same answers I am, but if you are going to act like a barbarian, I will find Skull-sama on my own." He said.
"My apologies." Responded Reborn after a moment. Clearly whatever these people were, they were not used to dealing with Mafioso very often.
"What in the world are they though?" asked Lal.
"I thought you were done asking questions?" said Collonello. Lal punched him in the shoulder.
"Shut up, that was before I nearly took out both my knees on that slide. Next time I'm looking before I leap." She said.
"These are the house staff, naturally." Responded William, "Now if you will excuse me, Kreacher!" he called out. Another one of the house staff appeared with a soft poof a moment later, but this one looked different from the others. It's face, nose, ears all appeared to by longer than most of the other staff members, and over all he just appeared older. He regarded them all with a sneer.
"Nasty muggles in my masters house, what does the squib one wants with Kreacher?" he said.
"Yes, good day Kreacher, can you tell us where your master is? He appears to be missing. Has he been by here?" asked William. The grumpy creature, err Kreacher's, frown grew deeper.
"No, Kreacher does not know where master is. Master does not summon Kreacher for many days." He said. William sighed.
"That is troubling. Do you think you could find out where he is?" asked William.
"Yes." Responded Kreacher. William stared at Kreacher expectantly, and Kreacher started back.
…
"Right… erm, well? Would you mind doing so?" William prompted.
"Yes." Responded Kreacher, and with a poof he disappeared. Collonello raised his hand.
"I'm confused, does that mean he is going to find out where Skull is, or does that means he does mind so he's not going to find out where Skull is?" he asked. William's shoulders slumped.
"I have no idea." He said.
It was 3:37 a.m. in Hawaii, and Shamal had just recovered enough physically and mentally to go and interrogate Skull. He climbed out of his bed and somewhat limped into Skulls room. The brat was still asleep, and the bike was parked neatly next to his bed, kickstand out. Shamal threw his slipper at Skull.
"Oi! What the heck was that for!" yelled the startled stuntman.
"Oh, that? Well that, my friend, was for LITTERALLY BRINGING DOWN THE ROOF ON MY HEAD!" Shamal yelled back. Skull jumped up so he was standing on his bed, he was nearly eye to eye with Shamal.
"What is that supposed to mean you crazy old man!?" he yelled. Shamal put on his best angry face and pointed at Skull's bike. Skull's posture became slack as he stared at the bike. He turned back to Shamal.
"Oh… whoops sorry buddy." He said.
"YEAH, AND WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD YOU IMMORTAL –" Shamal started yelling. It was 3:38 a.m. when Kreacher poofed into the room. Shamal stared at the strange looking creature, turned to Skull who was looking awfully sheepish, and then quietly went back to bed; roof debris and everything.
Skull ran a hand down his face and turned to Kreacher.
"What are you doing here?" he asked the house elf.
"The Squib one is looking for master." Responded the house elf.
"Ah, well, I suppose you might as well bring him here now. I'm going to have to obliviate Shamal anyways." He said. Kreacher nodded his head and vanished.
The Arcobaleno members were making plans to track down Skull with William when Kreacher returned.
"Oh jolly good, did you find him?" asked William.
"Yes." Kreacher responded and without further a due grabbed William by the arm and both of them vanished in with a pop.
"What… what do we do now, Kora?" asked a dumbfounded Collonello. Reborn sighed and checked his watch, it was 2:40 p.m.
"I suppose I'll call Verde and let him know we are somewhere in Germany. He can trace the call and grab our GPS co-ordinates. Why don't you two check the place out. We meet back here in 20 minutes." He said.
"Are you sure we should? This place is already giving me the creeps to be honest. I don't know if you noticed but all of the… staff members have disappeared. Also, this is Skull's place. It's bound to have traps and what not all over the place. I don't know if I have the mental energy to deal with anymore weird shit right now." Said Lal. Collonello was almost ready to second her, but the opportunity to snoop through Skull's stuff was just to tempting to ignore.
"Don't worry sweetie, I'll protect you." Exclaimed Collonello, striking a nice guy pose. I was expecting the smack that followed.
"WHO NEEDS PROTECTION?" exclaimed Lal, and with that she marched off into the base.
"Awee, you're so cute when you're angry! Wait for me!" called Collonello. Reborn just chuckled and pulled out his phone. Verde was quick to answer.
"You're in Germany I see." Was his greeting. Reborn supposed he shouldn't be surprised.
"I take it you have the co-ordinates then?" he asked.
"Of course. Who do you think you are talking to? By the way, are you underground? The only thing that shows up on the satellite is a little shack." Said Verde.
"Yeah, for a loud brat Skull sure does secretive well." Said Reborn.
"Yes, almost too well. What do you think he is hiding?" asked Verde.
"I don't know yet, but it's big." Said Reborn, "And I'm willing to bet we're find it here."
Skull was sitting on his bed waiting when William arrived with Kreacher.
"Sir! You're alright!" said William.
"Of course! What made you think I wasn't?" asked Skull.
"Your friends came to me, worried about your sudden disappearance. Something about a party, was it?" asked William with a raised brow. Skull scratched the back of his head.
"Ahahaha, yeah. I might have brought Dr. Shamal and I to Hawaii while I was drunk. I think I was craving sea food. Uhh, so… what did you tell Fon?" asked Skull.
"It was Mr. Collonello, Miss Lal Mirch, and Mr. Reborn that came looking for you, sir, and I… brought them to the base." Responded William. Skull was floored.
"Seriously, it was those three? Those three were looking for me?" he asked.
"Yes sir, and most insistently too." William confirmed.
"Well what do you know…? Wait, back up. You said you brought them to the base, not the mansion? As in my underground base with the slide and my house elves, and spell books, and all other sorts of magical items and NOT the mansion with my dirt bikes and mafia stuff?" asked Skull. William cleared his throat and nodded.
"Ah yes sir. I felt that given the nature of your disappearance… time was of the utmost importance." Said William. Skull leveled him with a bewildered look.
"What is that supposed to mean? Merlin's balls, Will! Did you leave them there alone?" he asked "Ugh, never mind that, Kreacher take us to the base!" he commanded. Kreacher grabbed their arms and the three of them disappeared with a pop.
Shamal listened as the hut suddenly became quiet. He quietly crept out of bed to only to find that he had been left alone, except that is, for the dirt bike that was still parked innocently next to Skull's bed.
"I'm watching you." Shamal warned the bike.
-(They forgot Shamal… does he even have any money with him? -Paige)-
