If you have noticed, well done. If you haven't – I went over the terms and conditions for stories when I added 'Cold Water' and found I was unintentionally violating a couple of the terms in the rules, so I had to modify the layout a bit and slightly alter the story before I got told off. I have also been having some formatting problems when I upload new documents which is really weird. Now it SHOULD be ok so i'll get on with my story notes.

I've done some major remodelling of some of the previous chapters as I found BIG holes in the plot, they may not seem big to you, but then you don't have the later scenes in front of you to know do you? I also changed Dranzer's false name from Sakura to Sayuri because I got too confused with who is who and who knew what.

Hopefully that will be the last change cause it is really starting to get annoying, like the dream I had where the hogwarts staff were the teachers at my secondary school, and Snape was my form tutor. The students were separated into groups like, elite, average, stupid and general (for those who weren't consistent) and everyone had to wear a necklace and bracelet set that was colour coordinated to the intelligence group and tutor group. We also had uniforms that was given to us in a large size that shrunk to the right size when we wore them, and the PE uniform also changed to the jewellery colours. More than strange. (Snape even liked me, something to do with him having a fondness for outcasts I guess)

The score is TCC 54, TCE 51", Students and friends from Tomoeda Community College cheered as their team won against Tokyo College for Engineering. While there was only eight in the tournament, the quiz's could only be played at certain times due to still having to do schoolwork so only two were set a day, after class was over. Hitashi College of Science had one the first bout with a landslide victory, but Tomoeda community College was not deterred, they had a bad start off but had gained courage as the time went on and ploughed through to win the round. While the Tomoeda six revelled in their first victory, they were joined by their highschool counterparts for congratulations.

Even though Sayuri had been rather pale faced throughout the entire day, their first round was now over and they could relax until the day after tomorrow when they would play tomorrows winner in the semi finals. Despite Sakura's misgivings about lunch, Sayuri hadn't turned down an invitation to lunch and two 'gangs' ate lunch together. Sayuri was, however, a little edgy when she was introduced to Adian, but warmed up to him when she could not pick up any desire to hurt her from the understanding man. She found him to be rather calming and even thanked him for his thoughtful kindness even when she was given the notion that it was Tori's idea, something that only received a sceptical snort from Li.

Afterwards Meiran had taken her two quiz girls out to celebrate their first victory and had a wonderful time, however, it was on their way back to the flats that everything went wrong.

"Ok, Ok, I give up, what was it?"

"Eternal Peace Treaty of 1686"

"What? No way. Russia and Poland?"

"Yeh, they went up against the Turks"

"How weird"

"Hey Sayuri, how do you know this anyway?"

"Yeh how?"

"Well duh, because I read"

Meiran looked insulted "WHAT, and we don't. How did you manage to find this information anyway?"

Sayuri whispered "Uh, Hello, half of my spirit lived in Russia for about a thousand years," then stopped walking, "Kirana, aren't you supposed to be supporting me?" they turned toward Kirana.

"I… I… Well… I must admit, you do have a knack for finding those bits of information that would have been overlooked by others" Kirana stated, "What do you do, go to…" she stopped suddenly as Sayuri held up her hand in warning.

"Ssshh" Sayuri's voice had dropped to a whisper, "Someone with negative intentions are on their way here with a group of others." Meiran and Kirana tensed as they heard footsteps approaching.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here," a tall and lanky, but still a strong man and his gang approached from behind Kirana, "three… fragile… weak… little… girls".

The girls looked offended and angry, Meiran seemed to snap out of it first, took a step forward and spoke up, "we may be little…"

Sayuri took her place by Meiran, "but we are by no means fragile…"

"Or weak" Kirana finished, not feeling as confident to stand up to him and his gang as the other two.

The man and his gang just laughed, "What are you little girls doing standing up to us, for that we'll beat you to a pulp first before we have some fun with you".

"Not like that's not happened to me before," Sayuri stated rather bluntly and calmly, startling Kirana slightly, Meiran flinched.

"Well then you know the drill, so I'll expect you to be more obedient" The leader grinned at the prospect of an easy target.

"Not unless you want your face kicked in first" Sayuri joked, finding the situation funny.

"Sayuri" Kirana warned, "Don't get in over your head, it'll only get you in trouble" her fear increasing every second.

"Hey J.D" one of the fat goons spoke up grinning like he had won the lottery, "can I have the feisty one?"

The fat goon's grin dropped as J.D gave his answer, "NO, she's mine, you guys can share the others," his eyes never left Sayuri's. She was an enigma to him, a victim of rape already but no fear in her eyes or her voice, did she gain more strength after the last time and that made her think it wouldn't happen again, well if it was then she was going to regret acting tough.

Kirana took a step back as J.D advanced on Sayuri. Sayuri readied for a fight "take one more move and I'll be the one to beat YOU to a pulp", J.D chuckled and continued advancing to throw the first punch. Which would of hit if Sayuri hadn't moved her head out the way and ducked slightly to give a strong punch to the gut, "don't underestimate your opponent". J.D was rather winded.

"So you DO have the strength to back up your confidence, I applaud you for that, you just made this more fun" with a sly grin he advance again, taking her speed and strength into account to avoid another hit. The gang took this as their cue and advanced also, Kirana and Meiran readied themselves despite Kirana's fear.

Kirana took a step back as three goons advanced on her, she was flat out scared and had no knowledge of self defence, however just as one moved forward to attack, a body was rammed into the other two and knocked them over like skittles. When the boys had untangled themselves from each other the one who had rammed into them was revealed to be J.D, who had been thrown into them by Sayuri, she had used a move to use his strength against him… and won. "Shit" J.D cursed rubbing his chest "what did she hit me with, a sledgehammer?"

"No" Sayuri replied to his rhetorical question, "it was my fist," she readied into another fighting stance.

J.D became angry at being beaten by a woman and stood up, using his anger as adrenalin, and called to his gang "leave those two alone, GET THE WHORE!" all hell broke loose as the gang raced towards Sayuri, fists raised, wanting her to be on the ground for them to 'play' with, even if it meant she would be bloody and unconscious.

Boy, did they overestimate their chances.

"Did you hear about the fight last night"

"No what happened?"

"A bunch of gang members were beat up, but when the police got there the fight was over and the ones who beat them up had already left"

"May be they just beat each other up and tried to pin it on someone else" was Li's answer as he, Meiling, Sakura, Madison, Eli and Ruby strolled down a busy street. He received a snort from Eli.

"Well," Meiling continued. "the general story is that these three girls jumped them from out of nowhere and attacked them, and they were only minding there own business" frowning at the end.

"That's even less believable than Ruby's story of Eil's childlike quirks last night" once again Li wasn't convinced that the gang were up to nothing but trouble.

"I heard about that this morning from Tori" Sakura added, trying to prevent an argument before it could start, "the police didn't believe them and arrested them for attempted assault" chuckles were shared at that thought. "That was about the time when dad asked us what were doing today."

"Why are we going to the mall anyway?" Li looked agitated as they passed through the entrance to the mall.

Meiling ran in front of him and held her hands behind her back and hung her body forward a bit, "because Eli needs school supplies as he is starting high school and I bet others need some too. Besides, me, Madison, Sakura and Ruby want to go clothes shopping, you know like a girls day out".

"But why do all of us need to be here?" Li protested.

"I don't know" Meiling stood up straight and swished her head around flailing her hair at the same time, "by the way, where is Tori and Julian, wasn't they supposed to be coming with us?"

"They were" Sakura said, "but Tori had to help dad with something, however Julian will be meeting us at the food court in a minute, but the reason we are ALL meeting up is because there is something we need to talk about".

"What about?" Madison asked confused.

"I'll tell you when we meet up with Julian at the food court" Sakura replied, "This isn't going to be easy".

The others looked worried, "Most be something big" Li wondered.

Sakura shrugged, "Sorta".

I cant believe how long this has taken me to write! I mean, I started this not long after I posted the other one in 2007 and I stopped after about one scene. In fact I even wrote the AN at the start in 2007. I didn't mean to be gone this long but in my defence I did lose not only any ideas in my head but also my will to write. Add to that long shifts almost every day and several house moves and you end up with little down time.

If it hadn't been for several notes and scenes which have been made but not located within the story I probably wouldn't have even bothered to restart this. I will however try to continue with this as well as new fate, and as for my other stories that are either fan or original, they need to be found (I usually write on paper first because I write better with less spelling errors to be corrected by spell check). I seem to have mislaid my story folder in my many attempts to move.

I made a bit of a booboo with trying to re upload the chapters and removed all the reviews so sorry for that.

I won't promise but I will try.
