A/N: And so it goes, round and round again.
The ceremony had been somewhat small, only including some of the crew and their families. They took their honeymoon on New Vulcan, and avoided Kirk's suggestive messages for two weeks. Returning to duty had been hard for them, but they soon fell back into the swing of things. Uhura had realized what had happened, and didn't speak to either Spock or Sascha for nearly six months, until Sascha sat with her in the mess and apologized profusely. The Enterprise continued her deep space missions, expanding out ever farther into the galaxy. The crew grew ever closer, becoming more family than anything else.
The ship became the most famous in the fleet, and her crew the most highly decorated in Star Fleet history. On the anniversary of Admiral Pike's death every year, they came back to Earth, docked the Enterprise, and spent the day looking for young men and women who had everything to offer humanity but no chance to use those gifts. A special scholarship was made in Pike's name per the crew's request, which would take bright young hopefuls and give them the chance to join the Academy. Such students went on to pioneer the future of their people: Commander William Riker, second-in-command to Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise-D; Commander Chakotay, second-in-command to Captain Katherine Janeway of the USS Voyager, which became the first ever ship to explore a previously unreachable quadrant of the galaxy and who discovered a stable wormhole transport between the two areas of space; and Captain Benjamin Sisko, who became the commanding officer of the space station Deep Space Nine, captain of the warship USS Defiant, and Emissary of the Prophet to the people of Bajor.
But before any of that could happen, Spock and Sascha received the greatest gift yet: a beautiful daughter, and a brilliant grandson, who went by the name Tuvok.
