~~Kumogakure~~

~~ (Present Time) ~~

It was roughly around midnight when they finally arrived in Kumo. Usually it would take almost 3 days to get to there from Konoha but with the dragons at top speed it only takes 6 hours. They could also reverse summon as well but there was not need for that currently. As they reached the front gate, they saw the Raikage, A, his brother, Killer Bee, and his daughter Samui waiting for them.

"Welcome back. Ayake you didn't tell me you were bringing an ANBU with you." A said curiously. He didn't really care but it was always good to have some kind of warning.

"A-sama this is Kazehaya Koyami my best friend. She recently joined ANBU." Ayami told him. She was excited about her friends finally getting to meet one another.

"Yami you aren't supposed to tell people my identity." Koyami said with a sigh before removing her mask. 'No point in keeping this on.'

"Ayami has told me a lot about you. Why are here in uniform though?" Wearing her uniform meant there was a mission.

"Yes Raikage-sama, I was given a mission to protect the daughters of the Hinedo clan head for the duration of their stay here. Truthfully the mission might have just been a vacation that Hokage-sama is sending me on because of how many missions I had recently."

There was no point hiding her reason for being there from him. She knew it didn't make sense since they came here so often but this was just her theory. Before he could answer his brother spoke.

"Yo little ANBU you interest me, at dawn we fight, it will be a show to see. YA!" Killer Bee said in a rap.

'What the fuck was that?' Koyami thought in utter confusion. "You want to fight me?" She asked for some kind of clarity. Bee only nodded before continuing on.

"It's past midnight and I am beat. Tomorrow you will see I'm not easy to defeat. Oh Ya!" He yelled before jumping away.

If anyone else was surprised by his behavior they didn't show it. 'This place is weird.' She summarized while walking with the rest of the group back to the Raikage's house. It was near the Kage Tower, so it was a long walk. Once they arrived A showed everyone to their rooms before heading to his. As Koyami was about to walk into her room Ayami grabbed then dragged her to Samui's room.

"Samui this is Koyami. Koyami this is Samui. Now be friends!" Ayami cheered as if that was the easiest task for either of them. They shook hands as Samui spoke.

"Ayami told me you are a year older than her but you're an ANBU. Why is that?" She spoke with a blank face and dead tone.

'She's a bundle of sunshine…Ayami has interesting tastes in friends.' Koyami observed her before answering. "My clan started training their children at 4 so I have been training for some time now. My goal is to be an ANBU Commander and the village believed this was a good time for me to start my journey."

Samui accepted this answer with a nod before they both stared at Ayami. They were both fine with not speaking and Ayami took this chance to talk.

"Now that were all friends, I am going to go find some donuts. See you tomorrow." She then bolted out the room in search of her precious. As Koyami moved to leave the room Samui called out to her.

"Bee is strong. Don't lose focus during your match tomorrow." She warned her before heading into her private bathroom.

Koyami took that warning seriously. She had no information on this guy besides being the Raikage's brother and teammate. That alone made him dangerous. Thankfully, she had been given a Bingo Book before she left and would try to find him in it. As she flipped through it all she could think was, 'Why is he interested in me.'

Next Morning

Everyone woke up around 8 am to watch the battle between Killer Bee and Koyami. They were led to a training ground near the Hokage Tower where they wouldn't be interrupted. Everyone noticed Koyami had forgone her ANBU uniform and instead wore her usual red and black outfit but kept her tantos with her. As the duo stared one another down A began to say the rules.

"This fight will allow all jutsus except killing or permanent crippling moves. The first person to forfeit or unconscious will lose. I have a right to stop the fight at any time. Are you ready?" A asked looking towards them before receiving nods. He was somewhat confused as to why Bee was interested in this girl, but he knew he'd find out after the fight. Without any further delay it was time to start.

"Hajime!"

Instead of them rushing towards each other they continued to stare. This continued for another minute before Koyami's hands twitched initiating the fight. Bee shot towards her quickly arriving with a spin kick forcing Koyami to crouch. He continued his attacks with a few punches, but she blocked them all before crouching and attempting to sweep his legs. Making Bee jump up and back.

Koyami quickly took out a tanto as she dashed forward, wielding it with her right hand. Bee grabbed a singular sword and blocked her vicious strikes. She sent a quick strike towards his left side which he immediately blocked. Koyami used the momentum from her strike to twist her body sending a reverse hook kick towards his face. Bee easily brought his right hand to block it only to see her smirk as she swiftly grabbed her second tanto and hit him with a downwards slice. Easily cutting his chest and torso before being thrown. She backflipped midair before landing. As she looked up she saw he brought out the rest of his swords, ready to attack. Knowing she couldn't fight that Koyami started weaving hand signs.

"Lightning Style: Lightning Dragon Jutsu!" She yelled as a huge dragon raced towards Bee who had just finished his own jutsu.

"Fire Style: Dragon's Rage!" He said as he released a massive stream of fire that quickly overtook the lightning dragon. Once the smoke cleared Koyami was nowhere to be seen.

Bee carefully searched his surroundings until he felt hands grab his feet. Looking down he saw Koyami's hands before he jumped away, breaking her hold on him. Bee quickly threw some Shuriken at her to deter her from following when they all struck her in the chest. Shocked by what he done Bee ran back towards her still figure on the ground. As he went to touch her, she turned into a stream of lightning, shocking him. Before he could react, he heard two shouts.

"Wind Release: Slicing Breath!"

Bee quickly looked up to see two Koyami's standing on opposite sides of each other. Having no choice, he braced for the impact of the blasts. As they hit a huge cloud of dust formed around Bee. Koyami watched as the cloud dissipated and saw him covered in a red cloak of chakra. 'So, this is the Hachibi's power.'

Two more clones poofed into existence as the last clone had jumped over and landed next to her. One sat down as another took position in front of it as guard. Koyami then rushed towards Bee as a clone followed. The clone then yelled out, "Wind Release: Strong Wind!"

The gust of wind hit the original Koyami and propelled her towards Bee at high speeds. Before she reached him, she whispered, "Lightning Release: Lightning Sword." Once she reached Bee, he dodged her first strike letting her pass by him. She immediately created another clone which she propelled off of back to him, slicing him back with her lightning coated tantos.

He then sprouted another tail and rushed towards Koyami and her clone easily punching both in the stomach with his enhanced speed. Her clone dispelled as she knelt down in pain waiting for his next strike. Before Bee could deliver an axe kick to her head another clone used Koyami as a spring and sent a punch to his face knocking him back. As he recovered, he felt a piece of paper being thrust into his abdomen. Looking down Bee saw a sealing sheet and felt Hachibi being cut off from him.

"Enough! This battle is over!" A yelled as he went towards Bee.

Ayami and her family ran towards Koyami who immediately sat on the ground as her clones disappeared. A quickly removed the sealing tag from Bee as he spoke to him.

"Why did you challenge her?"

"You already saw her potential is thick. Look she already beat me like a stick. YA!" Bee then gave a thumbs up.

"It's not beat like a stick; it's beat with a stick." A mumbled with a huge sweat drop. Seriously his brother could be such an idiot.

"She beat me at my Chunin level. In the future she will become a power devil. We should show her some lightning jutsu. She would be a good student for you. Fool, ya fool."

"You want me to train her? That's crazy Bee. I must admit she impressed me with that fight she is a child from another village." A argued as they walked towards everyone. Before Bee could answer Koyami spoke.

"Bee-sama…I'm sorry I cut you off from the Hachibi. I saw in the Bingo Book you are it's Jinchuriki and thought Fuinjutsu would be my way to win the fight." Koyami said as she lowered her head. She felt somewhat guilty, but she reminded herself she was a shinobi and they used every opportunity to win.

All the adults stared at her surprised that she understood what a Jinchuriki was. Even more so to apologize for sealing their tailed beast away. As A broke out from the shock, he spoke to her.

"Koyami, why would you apologize for that? And you're from the Kazehaya clan, right? Why didn't you use your Shingan?" A was confused. He knew this girl had it and he wondered how much she truly accepted Jinchurikis.

"This wasn't a huge battle, so it wasn't necessary to seal it. Tailed beasts are alive and shouldn't be cut off like that especially since Bee and Hachibi work together. Plus, it could have negative effects on the Jinchuriki too. As for my Shingan I didn't use it because I do not want to rely on it. If I use it for every battle than I'll be just like the Uchihas." Koyami said as she cleaned off her tantos then sheathed them.

Everyone knew this girl was mature way beyond her years. Killer Bee just smiled knowing what he thought was correct. Even Gyuki was on this girl's side, he was impressed by how she thought. If A had anymore doubt it was gone after that.

"Koyami! Tomorrow I want you to meet me at my office. I will be teaching you some things over the next 2 months." He smiled with his decision. She would be someone to keep an eye on in the future.

Koyami could only smile at the opportunity she was given. To learn from a Kage was incredibly rare and worthwhile. She would not hesitant at this chance. Ayami and Samui were also amazed at his offer to teach her.

"See Koyami haven't I been saying Kumo is awesome. Now since this is done let's go get some Ramen! They have a great stand here too." Ayami shouted as she jumped onto Koyami's back. Either forgetting or ignoring Koyami's injuries and exhaustion.

As she led Koyami like a horse, the adults just followed the children. Ayake conversed with the Raikage as they walked down the main road. Curious as to why he offered Koyami training.

"I knew her mother. She was strong and her daughter she be too. If you want, I can have someone train Ayami too." He offered to his lifelong friend.

"No, let her enjoy her childhood. Koyami is already giving her lessons and she is coming along well. Let kids be kids."

As Ayake said that Koyami abruptly dropped Ayami to the ground as they made it to the ramen stand. Of course, Ayami then screamed obscenities towards her as Koyami ignored her. Everyone laughed at the scene as A thought, 'This was going to be a fun 2 months.'
