Hey guys *in Freakazoid voice* I'M BACK!

Sorry it's been so long. I've been grounded because of my grades.

We're coming into the home stretch!

I own nothing but my OC's!

Episode 10: Last Night

Axel spent the days with Angel. None of the Decepticons saw him around the warship anymore; he spent his time on earth indefinitely. He slept in a hotel for the first week until his friends found out.

Luciano's family let the boy stay in their home for the time.

Every single day, Axel spent with Angel. He never left her side until she went home to the Autobot base.

"What am I going to do?" Axel's head fell into his hands as he sat on the bed in the spare bedroom of Luciano's house. "I only have a week left before I have to leave. Luc, I have to do something for Angel… but what?"

"You do know what's going on your last night here, right?"

"Uh, well yea but… if costs money and a lot of it, which I don't have since I left the warship."

The Hispanic boy smiled, "That's no excuse." He tossed Axel an envelope.

"Huh?" the boy opened it, "What? You didn't?"

"One for you, and one for Angel. Oh, and don't worry about what to wear either, we've got that covered for the both of you."

Axel looked down at the two tickets in his hand. "I… I can't believe you did this for us!"

"Ya'll are our friends, why wouldn't we? Just make it a night to remember… for the both of you."

The boy waited outside the school, he smiled as Angel came down the stairs towards him. "You ready?"

"Yep!" She took his hand and the two walked down the street, towards the ice cream parlor at the end of the block.

They ordered a banana split and went to one of the back tables. Axel looked at his friend's fallen facial expression. "Hey, it's ok…"

"I just… you're leaving at the end of the week. Friday is my last day with you."

"I know," he took her hand lightly, "That's why I'm spending all this time with you; to enjoy the time while we have it." He pulled up the envelope. "Especially that last night…"

Angel opened the envelope and gasped. "Prom tickets!?"

"Well, my last night happens to be Prom night, so why not? Will you go with me?"

"Yes! Of course!" She clasped the ticket in her hand, "I don't know what I'm gonna wear…"

"Ask Chase and Kiara; apparently they've got it all worked out for us."

She smiled, "Well then, can't wait for Friday…"

Axel stood, waiting for Luciano and some others to go help him get a tuxedo for prom, when a familiar Honda Fit drove up beside him. He got in with a smile. "Hi Mom."

"Axel," Eclipse inwardly grinned. "How are you?"

"Ok… just waiting on some friends."

"For what reason?"

The boy blushed, "They… they're gonna help me pic out a tuxedo for Friday night."

"Oh," she chuckled, "and why do you need a tuxedo?"

"I'm going to prom with Angel, on my last night here." He glanced in the rearview mirror and saw Luciano, with the holoforms of Sureshot, Hotshot, and Bumblebee coming their way. "I better go; they're here."

"Some of those are Autobots, you know."

He nodded as he opened the door. "Yea. They know about me and Angel. She's very honest with them. They're cool with it. See ya later, Mom." He climbed out of her alt mode and greeted them as Eclipse drove off. "What's up guys?"

Sureshot cocked an eyebrow. "Was that Eclipse? I thought you weren't hanging with the Cons anymore?"

"She's my adopted Carrier and the only one who knows about any of this; she's only checking up on me."

"Oh…" Bumblebee nodded. "So she knows…"

"She's the only Con who does, and she's the only one I trust about this."

"Wow…"

Angel looked through the dresses on a rack, but none stuck out to her. "Why do we need to do this now?"

"If we don't pick one out now, then the boys will have to wait to buy the right color tie, since you two have to match."

"Ok…" Angel browsed through the next rack, stopping as a dress caught her eye. "This one's pretty!" She held it up, "What'd ya think?"

"It's perfect!"

The days flew by, faster than any of them liked, until Friday arrived. The school was all abuzz for the dance that night, but Axel's stomach clenched: his last day… his last night.

He would miss earth and all his friends. He would miss the smelly locker room, the dirty cafeteria, the noisy girls who flirted with him constantly, heck, he would even miss the gym teacher who could only be described as 'Unicron incarnate'. Most of all, he would miss Chase: the tom-boy who could out-sass and out-box anyone, Luciano: the brawny football player with a gentleness that seemed beyond him, Kiara: the sweet girl who could bring the best out of any situation, and Angel…

Oh Angel, the girl who opened his eyes and stole his heart. He would miss her more than anything. Tonight, he planned on making her the center of his world; since he would miss her birthday in a week, he got something extra special.

However, the fact still loomed over him like a dark cloud; he was leaving, and never coming back.

Eclipse strode across the deck of the Nemesis, quietly thinking of her adopted son.

"So, where is that little brat of yours?"

She turned sharply, "Shut your fragging mouth, Starscream! He's spending his last day with his friends."

"Oh," the seeker purred, "of course he is… the little insect care more about his fellow insect friends than his own allegiance."

"Keep your forked glossa behind your dentals!" The femme pulled back her fist before punching Starscream in the jaw component. As he hit the wall, Eclipse strode away swiftly.

The seeker growled as he righted himself, stomping off towards the bridge. Knock Out grinned as his optics beheld the angered second-in-command. "What's wrong Screamer? Did someone reveal your latest takeover plan again?"

"Silence!" He slashed at the medic with his sharpened digits, which Knock Out ducked, to save his paint.

"Starscream! What do you have to report?" Megatron turned around to the two, ignoring the bickering.

"I have discovered that Axel has been spotted in the human town, not only with his friends, but with the holoforms of several Autobots." All in the room stopped, listening intently. "Apparently, he is attending some fancy thing tonight with the Autobot's human, Angel."

Knock Out vented, he saw Axel like a nephew and didn't want anything to happen to him. "Maybe you didn't think, Starscream that the Autobots didn't know who he was, only that he's going to that thing with Angel."

"Oh, but they did… I asked Soundwave to send out Lazerbeak to observe them. They openly spoke about his Decepticon affiliations."

Megatron turned away, his processor racing. "Soundwave, send Lazerbeak to observe Axel and Angel at the event tonight. We will see what is really going on with Axel..."

That night, Axel stood around the corner from the school, his stomach flopping. He fingered the bow-wrapped box in his pocket, thinking of what to say or what to do.

A car pulled up beside him; he stiffened. "Hello, Remix."

"Axel…" the femme remained in her alt mode as she spoke. "It's good to see you. Now, I want you two to have fun, but not too much. Please have her back here by 11 and if I find out you did anything inappropriate, just know, I will find you, and you will regret it."

"Yes mam!"

"Glad we understand each other."

The back door of the vehicle opened and Axel's heart stopped. Angel stepped out of the car, dressed in a long flowing dress with a single strap across the right shoulder; the color of the dress was red, red at the top, at least. The red faded as the color went down the dress and faded into a deep purple around the bottom.

"Angel…" he took her hand, helping her out of the car. "You… you look beautiful."

The girl blushed softly, "Thank you… you look very handsome too."

"Well," Remix cut in, "I'll be going. Enjoy your time, you two." She drove off, leaving the two alone.

Axel hooked arms with Angel, a blush spreading across his face. "Now, shall we go and enjoy the dance?"

"Yes, we shall." She smiled sadly.

Axel and Angel walked around the corner, where they could see the school gym lit up with lights and music. The boy gulped: his last moments with Angel, had begun.

Neither of them noticed Lazerbeak sitting high up above, watching their every move.

Uh oh… we've got trouble!

It's a short chapter, but I wanted to add some suspense!
