Just a short chapter wanted to give Rachel and Monica a moment.

The couple were finally ready to go back to the apartment, now they had felt like that they had everything out in the open. Though they were relieved to find Rachel being the only one home, she smiled a genuine smile when they walked in. She was happy for them, having been with Monica at the time, it was good to see her this happy and supported by Chandler.

"Hey Guys. How did it go?"

On the way back to the City, Monica and Chandler had spoken about the living arrangements she didn't want to have to do it but the only way it was going to work was to have to ask Rachel to move out. Seeing that Rachel alone she turned to look at Chandler trying to convey that it was best for him that he left.

"Ah why don't I let Mon tell you, I'm going to look for Joey." Chandler kissed his girlfriend on her forehead silently wishing her good luck.

"Well tell me. Did it go okay? What is she like?" Rachel sounded almost as excited to hear all the details as Monica had been.

For the first time in a couple of days she had felt relaxed, being able to gush over all the details with Rachel, without facing judgment or the possibility of anger. Monica enjoyed the conversation wishing with every in her that she did not have to reach the end of the topic. She knew that it could be put off but if there was anything that she had learnt lately, it was that there were no point avoiding things, just because they were unpleasant.

Rachel let her friend talk and talk and talk annnddd talk, but Monica obviously needed someone to listen she was glad that it could be her. She got a little worried when Monica finished fairly abruptly by all accounts it went well, Rachel couldn't understand the look that now appeared "Mon, what's wrong? You're happy right?"

"Rach completely it was amazing to see her, and Chandler has been fantastic. The thing is we were talking on the way back about the whole living arrangement, I mean I am not sure when it is going to happen but I mean Emma is going to need a room." Monica ended very un-Monica like muttering into herself.

"Of course. Are you and Chandler going to find a place somewhere?" Mis-understanding what was being said to her

"Well actually we decided that it wasn't really the best time for us to move in together yet. Everything has moved so fast and with him just across the hall it doesn't much more difference where Emma is concerned, he will still always be around for her." Monica did not have any more worries where Chandler was concerned.

"But if you stayed here. Where would... OH right of course, you would need my room wouldn't you." It finally clicking in Rachel's mind. She was upset and wished she didn't have to room, there years living here had been the best.

Monica could see everything moving into place "I'm sorry Rach, I wish you could stay" She was trying hard not to think too much what it would be like not to have her best friend around.

"Oh come on it be fine, it's a good thing for you. Though it is an end of an era!" Rachel vowed she would not make this time any more difficult for Monica.

"I know, right! Thanks Rachel." She lent in to give her friend a hug.

"Anytime. You know I am will always be here for you." She was trying her hardest to keep her true emotions out of her voice, but she shut her eyes when hugging Monica willing the tears away. "You do know that I will be the only help to decorate."

"Of course, I wouldn't want anyone else." Rachel would always be here for all them, she will make an excellent aunt.
