Jai POV:

He nodded to Bay and Bay ran passed him clearing the way. Bay stopped just ahead of him he looked left and then right, before nodding at Jai. Jai looked behind him before running over to Bay.

"You couldn't come up with a better plan than this?" Bay hissed.

Jai shook his head. Their plan was to sneak inside the build force someone to take them to Collin and get out of there without being seen. Jai was the first to admit it wasn't a very good plan but it was all they had.

"This comes from the guy whose plan was using a seven year old girl." Jai spat hurtfully.

Jai looked left and right before heading forward. He looked left and right again stopping just behind building and nodded for Bay to follow.

"I said I was sorry about that, but you were the one who ran off with my sister." Bay argued weakly.

Bay looked left and right before running forward then nodding for Jai to follow and few more meters then they would be at the back of the council building.

"Rainy asked for my help, what did you want me to do say no?" Jai demanded.

Bay shook his head.

"You should have come to me, it's my job to protect her." Bay argued.

Jai ran forward and waited for a guard to pass before signalling Bay to come forward.

"Do you honestly think I would let anything happen to Rainy?" Jai asked.

Jai looked Bay directly in the eyes waiting for his answer.

"Of course you wouldn't." Bay replied instantly.

"So what's this all about?" Jai demanded.

Bay sighed.

"You and I both know that the moment she sees something happen to you she'll go off by herself, I thought if I were here at least we might stand a chance of keeping everyone safe." Bay confessed.

Jai nodded finally understanding.

"But you couldn't do that without bringing Ivy?" Jai asked.

Bay sighed heavily.

"I'm sorry Jai I really am. I needed to find you and Ivy said she could." Bay replied.

Jai shook his head.

"Look, I promise while Ivy is in my care I will always protect her, just like I know you'll always protect Rainy." Bay offered.

Jai nodded and looked towards the council building.

"Any idea how to get in?" Jai asked.

The back of the build had a high wall that they need to get in if they stood any chance of getting into the building.

Bay looked at the building too before smiling over at him.

"Maybe." He smirked.

Natsu's POV:

It wasn't that Natsu didn't trust Bay he did, but had been almost two days and he was yet to hear anything from them and they had his baby.

"Anything?" Natsu asked the master.

The master shook his head deep in thought.

"Don't worry dad." Connor said bring Natsu out of his thoughts.

Natsu looked at Connor who seemed to be avoiding his eye like he was hiding something.

"Ivy is probably having the time of her life." Connor added.

Natsu walked near to his son.

"Is that right?" he asked.

Connor nodded then looked Natsu directly in the eye.

"And I told Bay I would kill him if he let anything happen to Ivy." Connor said.

Natsu couldn't help but smile. All three of his sons were fiercely protective of their little sister.

"Why didn't you go with them?" Natsu asked realising it was wired that neither he nor Sunny had suggested going with her.

Connor looked away.

"I…I…" Connor stuttered.

"Ivy wanted to go on her own." Kai said.

Natsu watched the relief fill his son's face at the assistants of his friend.

"Is that right?" Natsu asked.

Connor nodded and smiled.

"Yep. Gotta go." Connor rushed before disappearing Kai not fair behind him.

Natsu watched them leave. They were defiantly hiding something.

Sammy POV:

Sammy watched Rainy pace, as Ivy and Simon talked by the fire they had built just outside of town.

"What did you see?" Sammy asked.

Rainy stopped and looked over at her.

"When?" she replied.

Sammy patted the ground next to her and Rainy slowly made her way over and sat down next to her.

"What did you see that made you so afraid for everyone that you thought they were better off without you?" Sammy asked.

A tear slide down Rainy's face and Sammy found herself putting her arm around her friend.

"They killed them," Rainy whispered.

"All of you and I couldn't do a thing to stop it." She cried.

Sammy gasped and held her friend closer.

"Will make sure that doesn't happen." Sammy promised she just hoped she could keep that promise.

Bay POV:

Bay shook his head as Jai melted the bars on the cell.

"How is this not suspicious?" Bay demanded.

Jai laughed.

"Well Ice princess you got a better idea?" Jai asked.

Bay laughed and shook his head.

"Just hurry it up flame brain." Bay replied.

Jai melted the bars.

"What are you doing?" Collin coward in the corner.

"Getting you out of here." Jai replied.

Collin looked confused.

"We just need to borrow you for something." Jai said as the bars melted and he grabbed Collin by the collar and dragged him out.

Bay looked over at Jai and smiled.

"Well that was easy." Jai said with a cocky smile.

"Hey stop there." Someone shouted from behind them.

"Spoke too soon." Bay muttered.

Jai laughed.

"Run." He shouted.

Bay laughed that was as good as plan as any.

Gray POV:

Gray slammed his hand down in frustration.

"Master and I have been in contact with everyone we know and no one has seen them." Erza told him regretfully.

Juvia put her hand on his knee and squeezed it, he took her hand in his and squeeze back knowing she was just as worried as he was.

"Jai won't let anything happen to her." Lucy offered as a comfort.

Gray and Juvia were talking with Lucy, Erza and Jellal who had been helping them look for a place to start looking for Rainy and Jai.

"I know. But I just can't relax till I see them with my own eyes." Gray replied.

He knew Jai cared about Rainy, in fact he was pretty sure Jai was in love with Rainy but he still need to see his daughter to know they were truly ok.

"The kids are hiding something." Natsu said taking a seat next to his wife.

Gray looked at him.

"What do you mean?" Gray asked and Natsu explained his conversation with Connor.

Gray looked round the room till his eyes found Kai. Kai was huddled with Connor, Sunny and Lila, he looked concerned and worried.

"Kai?" Gray called.

Kai looked up and smiled before heading over.

"Hey pops, what's up?" Kai asked.

Gray studied his son. There was something about the cleary fake happiness that bothered him.

"Have you heard from Bay?" Gray asked.

Kai smiled and shook his head.

"Don't worry dad, Bay can take care of himself and he'll make sure Ivy and Simon are ok too." Kai added looking from Lucy to Erza as if to reassure them.

Gray nodded before Kai went back over to the others and Gray looked over at Natsu.

"Ok their hiding something." He agreed.

"So what do we do now?" Juvia asked.

Gray looked over at Natsu to see if he had any idea's.

"Divide and conquer?" Natsu suggested.

Gray nodded. If they were hiding something he would find out what it is.

Rainy POV:

Rainy stroked Ivy's hair as she slept on her lap. The boys had been gone for a while and it was getting dark.

"Do you think their ok?" Simon asked Sammy.

Sammy stroked her brother's arm.

"They'll be fine." She whispered.

Rainy smiled and hope she was right.

"I can't believe that your best plan was to run." Bay voice called from behind them.

Rainy looked over to see Bay and Jai running with Collin been drag next to them.

"It worked didn't it." Jai argued.

Rainy laughed as they approached in relief.

"You did it?" she whispered as they approached her trying not wake Ivy.

"Not quite." Jai said smiling at her.

He took Ivy from her lap as Rainy heard voice in the distance getting nearer and nearer.

"Time to run." He said with his cocky grin.

Bay put Simon on his back as Sammy took hold of Collin grabbing Collin's other arm Rainy helped her hurl him forward as they ran.
