sorry. i know it has been a month, but i can explain! I was all stressy over finals but i just finished my last one about 45 minutes ago. i turned it in and i felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off my shoulders. I'm leaving for new york tomorrow and wont be back till the 28th i think. i'll write a few chapters on the plane but i might not get to post them till i get back. just a heads up. on with the story.

Elly and the Stolls bought their tickets and boarded the train to Jump city.

"This is the right train, right? You checked?" Elly asked with suspicion in her voice.

"Yes, I checked! I even asked the lady at the ticket desk and another passenger, just to be safe. I am not dumb enough to make the same mistake twice!" Travis yelled. "you make one little mistake one time and they never let you forget it. Gees!" he muttered under his breath.

Elly giggled at that. Travis sneered back at Elly, causing her to laugh even harder.

"Come on, giggle box. We need to find our seats." Connor said, trying to keep them from busting out their weapons and fighting to the death.

They settled into their seats in the back row of the train car just as it started to leave the station. Elly was still wiped out from their long night and the seat was really comfortable. The Stolls would wake her up if there was trouble, probably. There was always the possibility that they would leave her there, or let her sleep through it. But she was the leader of the quest; they wouldn't leave her. Besides, last night's sleep hadn't been very restful and she deserved a little catnap. She started nodding off, almost in dreamland, when she was nudged awake.

"Wake up! You might want to see this." Connor whispered into Elly's ear.

This better be worth it, Elly thought groggily, I was almost asleep.

Travis pointed to the TV mounted at the front of the car.

"-damaged in an attack yesterday evening." The news anchor was saying. "Witnesses say that the damage was caused by three teenagers, two were reported to be identical twins. Bystanders say that when a middle age man tried to get them to stop, he was attacked as well but escaped unharmed. We have pictures of the teenagers taken by tourists. The teens managed to evade arrest. The apparent leader of the trio was a girl, approximately 13 years old and 5'2. The twins were reported to be 14 and 5'4."

Elly's eyes widened as a picture of herself and the Stoll brothers came on screen.

"Oh man, this is bad! This is really bad!" Elly said whisper ahouted quietly.

"I know!" Travis said. "Connor and I are not twins!" He smiled at his stupid joke.

Elly glared at him. "This is not the time for joking! This is serious! We are now considered criminals!"

"What do we do?" Connor asked.

"I suppose we just lay low for a while. Keep our hoods up and our heads down. But this will be over soon. We know where this bird is and we are on our way. In a few months, all this will fade away. We just need to stay focused. Even if we are walking right into a trap."

"What!?" Travis glared at her accusingly while Connor stared at her open mouthed, shock and disbelief on his face.

Elly stared at them like a deer in the head lights.

"Oops. Did I not mention that earlier?"

Teen titans

"Robin, you probably letting Slade into your head. Calm down and think rationally."

"Your probably right. She can't be my sister. Lizzie had paler skin. She had freckles. Lizzie's eyes were a baby blue, not electric blue. It's just in my head." Robin was trying to convince himself by pointing out everything that was different.

Robin unfroze the screen.

"As you can see here, we have just received video of the attack on the monument."

A fuzzy, grainy video appeared on screen. Three teens, two boys who did look similar, and a girl were facing a tall man. The girl looked as though she had whispered something to them. The twins distracted the man while the girl sneaked up behind him, holding a baseball bat. The man seemed to realize what was going on and turned in time to duck the bat and push the girl into the obelisk. She sat there somewhat dazed. One of the twins hit the man with the girls fallen bat. The man roared in pain and ran off. behind the shifting of the camera and the screams from people in the video, Robin could hear one of the twins shout something. They gave her something to drink, helped the girl up, then ran off.

Raven gasped. "But-That was a-a..." She couldn't finish her thought.

"Baseball bat that appeared out of nowhere, I know." Robin replied as he copied the video from the screen. He pulled up a few programs on the T-computer and ran the video through some filters.

"What are you doing?" Raven still sounded shaken.

"One of the twins shouted something after the man ran off. I'm thinking it was my-the girl's name."

Robin played the video once again. This time, he heard what the twin had shouted.

"Elly!? Are you okay?"

Robin breathed a silent sigh of relief. It wasn't his sister. She was some random girl who looked like his mother.

"Hello Friends Robin and Raven! Good Morning to you!" Starfire flew into the common room, her usual cheeriness present in her voice.

"Morning, Star."

Beastboy and Cyborg came racing into the room.

"I'm making breakfast!" Star announced.

Thankfully Beastboy thought quickly. There is a first time for everything.

"Aww. I wanted to play video games with you."

Cyborg caught on quickly. "How about I make breakfast and you play video games with bb."

"Okay Friends. I shall do the video games."

Robin let out a sigh of relief. No one wanted to tell Star that she was a horrible cook.

Through all the noise his team was making, Robin was somehow able to think.

The girl's name was Elly, not Lizzie. Though, Elly might be short for Elizabeth, I suppose. So she could still be my sister. Stop Robin. You're just torturing yourself.

Robin decided he should just enjoy this morning with his friends. He knew all too well that the people you love could be snatched away from you at any minute.
