About twenty minutes later Takeshi was standing over each item that he had picked out for Tsuna, jewelry wise, his grey eyes studying each necklace, ring, earring, bracelet and pendant along with the stones set within them for flaws of any kind.

After all, if he was going to purchase something it was going to be the best fucking quality around- or else.

He'd already managed to pick out several flawless pieces. The pearl necklace and earring set that he'd found when he had first come in. Some white, blue, pink and champagne colored diamonds. The fake engagement ring he'd picked for his little lady boss was by far his favorite piece. It was an one point ten carat blue sapphire surrounded by the prettiest tiny Ethiopian fire opals and had flawless white diamonds embedded in the band on either side of the setting.

It may be a bit much for someone as young as Tsuna, but she would grow into it.

And it came with a matching necklace, pendant and stud earrings.

Of course if Tsuna simply wished to wear something else as a fake engagement ring, he had gone to the trouble of picking out several different diamond and sapphire pieces. Some of which were perhaps not as overwhelming in size. But were truly breathtaking nevertheless.

And beside each piece that was set carefully aside in the 'keepers' pile that was steadily and alarmingly growing by the second, he had also picked out some garnets, amethysts, morganite, iolite, opal, ruby, emerald, tanzanite and onyx...ect.

All of which he set aside before finally deciding that after looking over seventy pieces of jewelry to see which ones were better suited for his boss and which ones weren't- he placed the last box aside and smiled at the sales rep and said, "I'll be taking all of those." As he pointed to the 'keeper's' pile and smiled as the woman damn near fainted as he pulled out his credit card.

Gokudera was getting bored just sitting around waiting for the new boss to wake up. However due to the method that Takeshi had used to put their new boss to sleep- she probably wouldn't be waking up for another few hours. Which meant that he would have to work on his introduction.

Ya know, because of first impressions being so damned important and all.

He wanted his introduction to be nice, polite, not too overwhelmingly over the top- since their families new boss was still just a kid, and he felt that overwhelming would be bad. Very, very bad since it was likely that due to the fact that Takeshi had had the most interaction with her- he would likely be her personal bodyguard.

Which would make him by technicality...Takeshi's secretary.

Damn. You know if he didn't know any better, he'd think that the calculating swordsman had almost planned for things to be that way. The bastard.

He sighed as he sat back against the mound of cushions and pillows that more or less served as a couch, chair, cushioning for a bed- seriously who needed this much pillows and cushions? Had Takeshi somehow been mistaken for a hundred and thirty year old or something?

Why was everything in his room so cushy and decadent? Sure he knew that Takeshi refused to let Reborn set up his room like he did with Gokudera and Hibari- he even knew that the blade emperor even went to the trouble of paying for his own room when he was sent somewhere for a job.

Though each hitman was handsomely compensated by their family, Gokudera knew that specific individuals were payed far more than the average hitman. And he knew for certain that Takeshi, Hibari and Reborn were among the top three hitmen within their family who were payed far more for their work.

Mainly because Reborn, Hibari and Takeshi had other jobs.

Reborn recruited fresh blood to serve the boss, and the family and even helped them begin their introduction to the life of a mafia hitman.

Hibari trained and in some cases killed them...

And Takeshi- took care of finances, training some of the new guys in hand to hand, weapons, and even assigned some of the jobs to people.

And since he was one of the top guys in the Vongola family- naturally- it also meant that while he had his own living quarters in the Vongola mansion- he also had several places all around the country that he'd bought and turned into safe houses with some help from Reborn, that is. While only two or three places served as a partial home to Takeshi when he needed some serious down time.

The man even ran his own martial art dojo just for fun!

Frankly Gokudera didn't know how the man even found the time or energy to do anything aside from his normal work. Everything was so mind numbingly time consuming that it was a wonder Takeshi hadn't stepped back and taken a little vacation for a few years just yet.

But then again, if he did so at the early on start of his career the family would suffer for it. Their new boss, Tsuna, would suffer for it.

And if there was one thing Takeshi hated more than anything it was the suffering of children. So even if he needed to take some time for a vacation- he likely wouldn't bother with one unless he was either ordered to do so at gunpoint (maybe not even then) or at the very least had permission from Reborn to take Tsuna with him so that he could keep an eye on her.

But Gokudera doubted that Reborn would allow such a thing unless Tsuna herself wished to go with him. After all, no one could nay say the boss.

Takeshi stepped out of the jewelry store with a pleasant smile firmly in place on his handsome face. The looks on the sale's rep's face and the face of her boss had been hilarious. Especially after everything had been rung up and he'd handed over his credit card.

Now all he had to do was find another couple of stores to hit so that he could buy some nice new toys for his boss to mess with in the hopes that it would keep her out of trouble.

The first place he went too was a classy shop filled with Japanese and eastern tea sets and different kinds of herbal teas. He found on Japanese tea set that he liked, and another two made of fine porcelain with pretty floral and butterfly designs on them that he decided to get, complete with saucers, plates, cups and creamer and sugar dishes, and a lovely tray to carry them on.

After grabbing them, he then went to the back shelf of the store where the tea's were kept and systematically looked through and collected several. One apple blossom and rose hip. One cinnamon spice chai tea. One jasmine, chamomile and lavender. And one orange blossom and spice green tea.

After paying for his stuff and grabbing the bag, he figured that he only needed to make one or two more stops before he was done.

As it was he'd already spent about ten to twenty grand or so on some of the jewelry he'd bought. And while that wasn't exactly much to him, he was sort of running out of finger room because of all of the bags. Deciding to go by a local book store, he bought about fifty dollars of books ranging from hobby books, to cook books, to simple romances and manga's.

Tsuna was after all a young girl. So he felt that she might like them.

Once he was done doing that, he went to yet another clothing store where he bought Tsuna some more clothing, jeans, cotton t-shirts, nightshirts made of the purest satins and silks ranging in color from sapphire blue, to the palest of pinks with floral designs on them, one or two of which had matching PJ bottoms.

He also got three- yes three- rather scandalous looking bathing suites that he was absolutely certain no one else would see but him.

Not because he wished to, but because the whether in Italy at this time of year ran along the lines of summer. There was a whole lot of sunshine, and she may at one point wish to take advantage of it on the Vongola's private beach where he would probably sit and watch her swim until she tired.

He also bought a few more dresses, skirts and one- if you can believe his luck- black pin stripe suite with a backless halter top shirt, small jacket, tie, and matching skirt that would look fantastic with some of the pieces of jewelry that he'd already bought.

He also got some hair accessories and clips and then bought some make-up (the good kind. eye shadow in various colors of pink, green, peach, and blue. along with some soft pink blush) after which he then paid for everything and then left the store with everything.

Standing out on the curb, it occurred to him that he may have gone just a tad bit overboard with his shopping. There was almost no way on earth that he'd be able to carry everything back to the hotel.

He'd better call for the car otherwise he'd never make it and either Gokudera and Hibari would have to take over watching their boss in his place.
