Howdy my lovelies. Alaina here to tell you I wrote this whole chapter in an hour and 20 minutes! THAT NEVER HAPPENS! AND IT'S LONG! THAT NEVER HAPPENS!

Ahem. Excuse me...

Disclaimer: I don't own Austin & Ally

Ally's POV

"MOMMY!" My daughter yells from her bedroom. Yesterday, the doctor told me that Avery should stay in her bed for a couple days to a week and she's already driving me insane! I can't take it!

I roll my eyes, but drop what I'm doing nonetheless. "COMING!" I yell back. I stick the chicken fingers in the oven, set the timer, and then head upstairs. "Yes, baby?"

"I'm really thirsty. Can I have more apple juice?"

I smile. Even though she's practically pushing me out of my house, she's still so adorable. "Of course, princess." I grab her sippy cup off of her side table and start to leave the room.

"And mommy?"

I turn around. "Mhm?"

"Can I have a big girl glass this time."

"Not yet, Avery. You're still a bit too little. I don't want sticky juice all over the floor just yet."

"BUT I WANT IT!"

"Avery Mackenzie Young!" I don't know what's gotten into her! She's acting like a maniac!

"Sorry, mommy..."

I turn to face the door but she asks for me again. "What is it, Avery?" I ask, rather annoyed.

"I was just wonderin' when daddy's coming..."

I don't know if she's talking about Gavin or Austin anymore. The doctor said she should get her memory back any day now, so she might be talking about either, and I have no way of knowing. "I don't know, baby."

"Okay..."

As I walk down the stairs, the doorbell rings. Great. Just what I need. "Hello?" I say as I open the door.

"Hey, Ally." Gavin says. "Can I see Avery? I think I finally figured out how to get her memory back."

"You can try." I say as I gesture inside. Once he steps on the first step, I stop him. "Wait, can you take her apple juice with you?" I walk into the kitchen to refil it.

"Yeah, sure." He follows me.

"So, what's your plan?"

"I'm gonna sing her Me And You. Remember how I always sang that to her to get her to fall asleep?"

I smile, reminiscing the good old days. "Yeah. She loved that song."

"Yeah, she did." We stand in silence for a moment, then gavin sniffs the air. "Somethin' burnin'?"

My eyes grow wide as I gasp. "The chicken!"

Gavin's POV

"Knock, knock, knock." I say as I open my daughter's door. "Hey, girl."

"Hi, dad- Gavin!"

I do a double take. "What did you just say?"

"Nothing..."

"Avery Mackenzie Young... Did you just call me dad?"

"No... I said Gavin."

"You know I'm your daddy?"

"Weeeelllllllll..."

"Avery..." I say, walking over to her and staring her down.

"Okay, fine! I know!"

My hands go to my hips. "When did you remember?"

"When mommy had me look into your eyes." She says so innocently.

"Avery!? I can't believe it."

"Can't believe what?" Ally asks, coming up behind me.

"Avery knows I'm her dad."

"What? Avery, that's great!"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Avery says, taking a sip of her juice.

"What?" I ask. "But, you just said-"

"-Mommy, why is this guy here anyway?"

Ally looks at me. "I thought you said-"

"-Yeah, I thought so too."

"I gotta go potty, mommy."

"Okay, sweetie." Ally grabs Avery's hand and starts to walk out. "I think you should go. Maybe she just needs a bit more time..."

I sigh, "Okay." and head out the door.

Ally's POV

"So, Avery," I start as I set my fork down. "why was Gavin telling me that you remembered?"

"What?" She asks, biting one of her chicken fingers.

"I think you know what. Gavin-" The doorbell rings. "We're not finished." I get up and asnwer the door. I smile. "Hey, Austin."

"Hey, Als. I was just coming to check on Avery. How is she?"

"Well, she-"

I hear a gasp from behind. "-DAAAAADDDDYYYY!" Avery runs and hugs Austin's leg.

"What's up, little girl?" Austin greets her, rubbing her head.

"That's how she's doing." I say. "Do you wanna come in? There's dinner on the table. Avery's having slightly burned chicken fingers and I'm having left over chinese."

"Sounds delicious." Austin laughs.

"Great."

No One's POV

Austin, Ally, and Avery go back to the table and start to eat. Sounds so perfect, doesn't it? Austin, Ally, and Avery. Avery tells her mom and her "father" about all the dreams she had while in the hospital. My goodness, she had some crazy ones. Austin and Ally talk about the old times and how much they enjoyed and missed those moments. They talk about how they first met, how their careers took off, and Avery listens to every story. She knew what she was doing.

Once they finished dinner, they went and sat in the living room. Avery showed Austin all the cool movies they had and finally fell asleep on the couch. Ally went to go clean up in the kitchen and Austin helped. Once that was done, she lit some candels and sat back down, Austin shortly following. They continued to talk about their past.

Ally's POV

"You wanna know what one of my favorite memories was?" Austin asks me.

"What?"

"When I played..." He gets up, grabs his phone, and clicks something. "this song for you."

Last summer we met

I blushed. "Oh yeah. I remember this."

We started as friends

He stretches out his arm. "Care to dance?"

I can't tell you how it all happened.

I blush again, bite my lip, and take his hand while nodding.

Then Autumn, it came

He swings me around once and then brings me in close.

We were never the same

We start to sway back and forth. We stare into each others eyes and smile.

Those nights, everything felt like magic

And I wonder if you miss me too

If you don't, it's the one thing that I wish you knew

I throw my arms around his neck and my head lays on his shoulder. He wraps his arms around my waist, hugging me so tight. I missed this. This.

I think about you every morning when I open my eyes

I think about you every evening when I turn out the lights

I think about you every moment every day of my life

You're on my mind all the time it's true

No One's POV

Avery opens her eyes just enough to see the two dancing together. She smiles then falls right back to sleep.

Ally's POV

You're on my mind all the time it's true

I think about you you you you you

I think about you you you you you

As the cyblas go off and the song ends, we pull apart just slightly to look at each other. Our heads start to get closer. And closer. And closer.
