CHAPTER 10 – VENGENCE PART 2

"I am Lord Eldor, and I have come for my vengeance!"

"Well, whoever you are," Inuyasha replies "You've messed with the wrong guy!"

He charges with great speed at Eldor. Eldor stands on guard. Inuyasha attacks with his Tetssaigia. Eldor dodges every strike.

Inuyasha's comrades watch in shock.

"How can a mere human be so fast?" Sango asks.

"Please be careful Inuyasha." Kagome says in thought. A worry on her face.

As the half demon continues to attack, Eldor grabs the blade of Tetssaigia. Inuyasha struggles to strike his opponent down.

"Such impotence." Eldor says grinning. "You're technique is of a brute, amateurish, sloppy."

"Enough!" Inuyasha barks.

His blade suddenly glows red. Eldor's face turns to wonder and worry.

"Feel the wrath of Tetssaigia!" Inuyasha shouts, as his blade finally lowers a fatal blow.

A Flash of light. Then disappeared. Eldor is nowhere.

Inuyasha grins. "Ha! Guess that's it for him."

"Not so fast, it seems you're also slow in mind." Eldor says behind him, not a scratch on him. Inuyasha is shocked.

"Impossible! There's no way he could have dodged that. Dammit!" Inuyasha says in mind.

"You're nothing compared to me. And now you will suffer a fate a thousand times fold than that of who you took from me." Eldor shouts, raising his bow, arrow cocked in the string. He aims with cold hate at his opponent.

"What I took from you? What the hell are you talking about?" Inuyasha demands.

"Don't play games with me runt! You know what you did. And now…you shall die!" Eldor shouts.

His arrow glows a purple blue.

Kagome looks on in shock. "That's a sacred arrow!"

The others look on in horror.

Eldor fires, Inuyasha blocks with his sword, the arrow hits. Both powers from the weapons glow. Then, the arrow overcomes the Tetsaigia.

As the arrow is about to pierce him, a figure in light within InuYasha's mind, someone from the past.

Then, it hits him in the shoulder, causing it to burn smoke. Inuyasha lands on his knees, sword keeping balance.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome shouts.

"Kagome, stay back!" InuYasha shouts weakened.

Eldor looks on, almost breaking the hate for his enemy within him.

"Why do you still stand?" He shouts. "You don't know when to quit!"

Another arrow aimed for his target.

"This time, IT ENDS!" Eldor shouts in hate.

Inuyasha looks on in pain. The arrow blooms its colors again. He sees the figure once again. It's one with familiar black hair and white robe.

"Kikyo…" He says softly.

Then, all goes silent for Eldor. All his rage builds up to more power within the arrow.

"Do…not…speak her name…out of…you're…vile…beastly….tongue! DIE!" He shouts.

The arrow fires, heading straight for Inuyasha. There is no way he can dodge it. He seems defeated.

Finally, when all seems doomed for the half demon, with the arrow centimeters from his chest, a flash of light. The arrow is intercepted, purified.

"Impossible!" Eldor shouts.

The smoke clears, Inuyasha emerges in battle damage, his sword keeping him stable. Another arrow has hit the ground, blocking Eldor's.

Eldor turns towards the direction of the arrows launch.

From away, Kagome's bow is in her hands, in after fire. She runs to Inuyasha's side.

"Are you all right?" She asks softly.

Eldor looks on, in shock. Seeing the women beside her enemy, in the same look as his love. Flashes from the past flicker in his eyes.

*No, no, it can't be!* His mind says.

"Inuyasha?" Kagome asks.

"Idiot…I told you to stay away." Inuyasha says as he grabs here in his arms.

As he witnesses the two embracing, something in Eldor snaps.

"No…NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

A light dimmers from within Eldor. It grows and grows around the field.

BOOM! A flash of light, sending the group of heroes flying through the air, landing around the field. Inuyasha stands his ground, keeping Kagome safe in his arms.

The light fades, smoke rises from the earth. Eldor's eyes are now pure blood red. He looks on his enemy, with full rage.

"How dare you put your hands on my beloved. I will not forgive this insult!" He shouts angrily. Thunder and lightning begin to form the lands.

*His power is far greater than before, I've got a real fight on my hands* Inuyasha says to himself.

"Kagome, take the others as far away as you can. Don't stop, keep running." He says to her demanding.

"We can't leave you." She says in worry.

"Go now!" Inuyasha says in warning.

Kagome nods as she heads to the others.

Inuyasha looks down on his enemy, sword drawn once again.

"Very well, if it's a sword fight you want, it's a sword fight you'll get!" Eldor shouts. "I will not hold back anything, not after what you had done to her!"

His head then turned to the fleeing comrades, seeing that of his recognized love. Kagome stares back at him, it's almost like she's seen him before.

"And your reminiscing replacement," Eldor says hissing "Is nothing more than your amusement to mock me!"

"I don't know what you're talking about man, but when you hurt my friends, that's when I get angry. And for that, I'll make you pay." InuYasha says angrily.

"Half breaded brutes like you don't have friends, they're just slaves to your will. My beloved was one you took from me, enslaved and murdered in cold blood." Eldor shouts, his blade prepared to fight.

Inuyasha is in sudden shock, he realizes the man's words of meaning. "Wait, you don't mean…"

"Yes." Eldor says in anger. "Your so called brain has finally caught up with you. I despise you, you loathsome son of a bitch!" He begins to charge.

"I shall my revenge! THIS IS FOR LADY KIKYO!" Eldor moves in for the kill, his sword blazed with blue.

Inuyasha stands his guard, in shock of his opponent's words.

CLASH! The two blades collide. Again and again, Eldor continues to attack with mighty blows, but Inuyasha continues to stand his guard. His rage growing within him of this stranger knowing and loving his once love.

The others watch from afar.

"How does this man know of Lady Kikyo?" Miroku asks. "And how have we not heard of him before?"

"I don't know, but we have to find a way to stop them from fighting each other." Sango replies.

"Yeah and knowing these two loved the same women, they'll most defiantly kill each other!" Shippo shouts.

Kagome looks on in worry. *This is not good.* she says to herself.

As the battle rages on, Inuyasha goes in for an attack.

"I sick of this bullshit!" He shouts, pushing Eldor's blade back. "WIND SCAR!" A flash of golden light beams from Inuyasha's sword, striking Eldor. The light glows high.

Out of the smoke, Eldor lays kneeled, his sword by his guard, panting.

Inuyasha lifts his blade onto Eldor's chin, staring eye to eye at his new enemy.

"All right you bastard," Inuyasha barks. "You better not be messing with me. How do you know Kikyo? Start TALKING!"

Eldor looks on with hate. He rises. The others look on.

"Well, since I intend to kill you, I might as well tell you." Eldor says on. "I had found Kikyo, alone, in a dangerous evil world filled with darkness. She was helpless, such loneliness in her eyes. I took it upon myself to train her as a priestess… and protect her with my life. To then, my heart had belonged to her and…I was in love…and so was she."

Inuyasha growls at the words. The others are at disbelief. Inuyasha's rage grips his sword.

"I had left to war some time later, sworn that I would return to her…then you came along, and slayed her with your lust for blood, like the dog brute you are. And for that, I shall have my revenge for her." Eldor says angrily.

Inuyasha looks on him, continued in anger.

Sango and Miroku look on in worry.

*He doesn't know about Naraku's plot with Inuyasha and Kikyo. This is not good.* Miroku says in thought.

"Indeed, it was from a white baboon of last night that told me of your treachery. I thank him for his advice to hunt you down." Eldor says grinning.

"A White Baboon?" Inuyasha shouts in shock. He pushes the tip of his blade further into the skin of Eldor's neck. "If I find out your lying about this white baboon still being alive, you're going to regret crossing paths with me!"

"You're even more brutal than I thought." Eldor grins in anger. "Did you think he was dead after you killed his comrades, to show fear in the heart of the helpless you keep enslaved?"

Inuyasha suddenly barks. "All right, that's enough! Listen hear you piece of shit! This white baboon is playing with your mind! He's a deceiving monster that…"

"The only monster here is you!" Eldor snaps. "I will not listen to such lies! Enough!"

Eldor suddenly unleashes a blow of energy at InuYasha, sending him flying. His body then builds with a purple light. Inuyasha stands guard.

Eldor charges, sword glows with blue light. Inuyasha aims his sword. Eldor raises his sword.

"TIME TO DIE! SACRED STRIKE!" Eldor swings his sword. A Beam of blue light charges towards Inuyasha. His sword also rises.

"I've had it with this crap! BACKLASH WAVE!" The Tetsaigia swings at Eldor's attack.

The beam of blue bounces off Inuyasha's sword, right back to Eldor.

"What?" Eldor shouts.

The beam comes closer. Eldor covers himself with blade in front. BLAM! The beam of blue flashes.

As it fades Eldor looks almost ragged, bits of his wardrobe are shredded. Suddenly, Inuyasha charges.

"If you side with Naraku, you don't deserve to take vengeance for Kikyo! Now Die!" Inuyasha shouts.

His sword raised, it strikes Eldor full blown. Eldor flies back, hitting the ground with full force. Inuyasha attacks again, this time Eldor blocks. The two swords clash. The Tetsaigia pushing Eldor's blade towards the warrior. Eldor struggles.

The others watch from a distance.

"We gotta stop the fighting!" Shippo shouts.

"We have no choice, we have to engage." Sango shouts with her weapon drawn.

Miroku also stands. Kagome looks on in worry.

Out in the distance in the forest, a familiar white baboon watches grinning from within.

"This man is surly strong. Soon, my revenge will be done." He says manically. "Maybe, some of my usage can help this fallen warrior." He raises his hand. An invisible force dashes towards Eldor.

Suddenly, Eldor's eyes glow a dark purple and red. His body glows the same color. He rises, sword pushing the Tetsaigia back. Inuyasha struggles to keep his blade stable.

"I refuse to let a half mut like you defeat me. I will have my vengeance! I shall have revenge! Kikyo, SHALL BE AVENGED!" He shouts with such anger.

Inuyasha looks on in fear. It seems he is doomed.

Suddenly, a blue flash hits Eldor. He flies back. An arrow stabbed through his right chest. Inuyasha looks up to see Kagome, bow springed.

*Kagome…*

Eldor rises, weekend from the arrow. "Your women might be a replica of my once love, but it seems she's not what I thought." He says rising. "But she is a fool. No arrow will stop my revenge from being complete."

Suddenly, two tentacles spring from the woods, they grab Kagome. She screams. The others look to see a white baboon appear from the woods.

All slowly turn to the sight of this familiar foe.

"It seems your attention of Kikyo has clouded your attention for Kagome, InuYasha." The figure says evilly. Kagome in his clutches.

"It can't be…" Miroku says in shock.

"It's…not possible!" Sango speaks in fear.

InuYasha growls with hate at the sight of one that was dead.

"Naraku! Why are you still alive?" Inuyasha says in such anger.

"Your brother was kind enough to use the Tensegia to revive me. I thank him for such." Naraku says pleased.

"Damn you! Damn you all to hell!" Inuyasha shouts.

Suddenly, a shout of pain from the monk. He grabs his hand. Sango stands to his side.

"Miroku!" Sango shouts. "Are you all right?"

"I fear the wind tunnel has returned to me." Miroku says in pain.

Naraku stares down at Eldor. Eldor rises still weak.

"Eldor, do not hold back your anger, kill Inuyasha. Avenge your beloved Kikyo. See that he and his comrades suffer harsher deaths." Naraku says manically.

"I shall deal with this brute my own way Lord Naraku. You had your chance, just watch the show." Eldor says disrupt.

"So you are working together? That means, you're as equally as guilty of the evils that he has done. And for that I'll give you the same fate as he will!" Inuyasha says with hate.

"Inuyasha, wait!" Miroku shouts with pain. He rises. "Eldor, do not believe a word Naraku says! It's nothing but lies! He's a deceitful monster that is only using you for his own vengeance on us! We've all suffered his cruelty. He's has done wrong to all of us, including you! Inuyasha is not the one who killed Kikyo, he did!"

"SILENCE DAMN MONK!" Naraku shouts.

A sharp arm springs through his shoulder, lunging at Miroku, stabbing him through the chest. Blood splits from the attack. He falls to the ground. Sango rushes to his side.

"Such a fool," Naraku says. "I hate it when someone gives away the ending."

Eldor is shocked. He looks at Inuyasha and others, then to the destruction of lands around him.

*Dammit! What have I done.* He says in thought.

"Damn you and your tricks Naraku!" Inuyasha shouts. "You let Kagome go!"

"But Inuyasha, do you not wish to kill the man who had your love before you?" Naraku says with treachery. "Finish him off and I shall let Lady Kagome go."

"I'll deal with this bastard on my own terms. My only goal is to kill you again!"

"Fool, then you leave me no choice then to let Kagome suffer in my grasp!"

Naraku grips Kagome tighter, her breath weakens. Inuyasha looks on, tears begin to form.

"Stop It!" Inuyasha shouts.

Suddenly a flash of light hits Naraku's arms holding Kagome. Inuyasha makes his move and grabs Kagome in his arms.

Naraku turns to the attack.

The light fades to show Eldor's sword in after swing. He grabs an arrow, aiming it at Naraku.

"You…will never harm…another women…ever again! My promise to my soul!" Eldor shouts, weakened.

"Such a fool you are Eldor," Naraku says hissing. "You should have killed Inuyasha sooner."

"I don't give a damn about that bastard son. All that matters to me is avenging my beloved Kikyo that you slayed!" Eldor shouts with hate. "I now see the dark heart within you. The lies, the deceits, the trickery. Such is the ways of pure evil! Now, I shall destroy you, with no mercy."

His bow releases, the arrow flies with blue light towards Naraku. The evil figure grins, laughing.

"Not even Lady Kikyo's arrow could stop me. How would some of the same power do the same?" Naraku says with laughter.

But then, the flash hits Naraku. A roar of pain from his body.

"Impossible!" He shouts. As the smoke clears, Naraku looks injured, he stares at Eldor with hate and fear.

"Damn you!" He says, holding his anger in.

Kagome awakens next to the large beat of Kirara. Rising to see Inuyasha heading towards Eldor, sword drawn. She then sees Naraku in the flesh. "Naraku is alive? But how?"

"I grow tired of looking at your existence on this earth!" Eldor shouts, sword drawn. "It's time to send you back to the hells you came."

"I don't think so." Inuyasha says walking up from behind.

His Tetsaigia by his side, ready for a fight. "For now I don't give a rat's ass on what you had with Kikyo, but stay outta my way on killing Naraku on my own."

Eldor walks past his, blocking his path. "Not a chance mutt. You had your shot as far as I see, I shall be the one to slay him and avenge the lady I hold dear to my heart. Besides, it seems your strength weakens from our misunderstood battle. Stand aside!"

Eldor sword glows, he aims it high above him. Naraku senses the swords powers; he is in a state of fear, even when not showing it in his face.

"Your reign of evil ends now! SACRED STRIKE!" Eldors blade swings towards Naraku.

A large light of blue and purple strike towards his enemy. When suddenly…

"Oh no you don't!" Inuyasha shouts, jumping into the attack.

"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha sword strikes within Eldor's strike.

The light from both attacks combine, charging towards Naraku. FLASH! The lights hit Naraku.

"Impossible!" He shouts in pain.

Leaving no alternative, Naraku summons a black magic, covering the attack with black smoke, allowing him to escape the blast. "You have made a powerful enemy Eldor! Choose your friends wisely, I shall return to destroy you and those who choose to fight with you."

BANG! The light flashes, setting off a wave of energy. Eldor and Inuyasha use their swords to guard them. The others take cover.

As the light fades, Naraku is nowhere to be found. The others emerge from the smoke, looking on in disrupt.

"Is that it?" Kagome asks.

"Is Naraku dead?" Inuyasha asks, he then grins. "Well, that was easier than I thought."

"Think again dog." Eldor interrupts. "Look at your monk comrade."

Inuyasha looks up at Miroku, still in pain that Naraku's curse still lays in his hand.

"It seems he has escaped for now." Eldor says looking on, his mind in thought of vengeance.

"And as long as he lives on this earth, my Lady Kikyo will not find no rest in the afterlife."

Suddenly a pain from Eldor's body, he staggers to the ground. Kagome rushes to him, helping him towards Kirara.

"What the hell are you doing Kagome? He just tried to kill me, I should be the one seeking treatment! For all we know, he could sly me in my sleep!" Inuyasha barks with disbelief that Kagome is helping Eldor.

Kagome suddenly turns coldness in her eyes. Inuyasha startles, scared.

"SIT!" She shouts, causing Inuyasha to fall to the ground.

"Such…an odd power of dominance…from one such as yourself." Eldor says in a painful chuckle. It hurts for him to laugh.

"Don't get yourself is more pain as you are already." Kagome says keeping him balanced. "Let's get you to the village and I'll boil up some herbs."

"Great thanks to you me lady. Your kindness is unworthy for me." Eldor says weakened.
