A/N: Hey! How's everyone been doing? Totally didn't ask that same exact question fortyfive minutes ago… that would be silly… It's weird sometimes to think about the fact that I type these chapters on the weekends mostly and talk about stuff that's happening in my life right now and you guys don't read about it until later in the week… huh… then again, I'm pretty sure that most of you don't even read these to begin with. Let's do a little test shall we? If you read my A/Ns and review, tell me your favorite color, you could leave just a one word review like "blue" and I'd be content with knowing what your favorite color is, or you could even lie and tell me a color you hated, I'm just curious if anyone bothers with these XD

Disclaimer: I own as much of this as I do your favorite color

Open Up!

Dante woke up first, much to his own surprise. The emotional exhaustion must've been catching up with the younger teen who was, surprise again, still snuggled into the half devil's arms. What a day yesterday had been and if the way he was waking up was any indication, today was going to be hectic as well… Nero shifted and hugged Dante tighter, as though the older boy were his own personal teddy bear. The half devil was suddenly struck by an idea and to him it was brilliant, as he thought most of his own ideas were, though that was usually not the case.

"Hey Nero…" he whispered softly, trying to wake the partial devil up gently. Nero gave a muffled sound and buried his face deeper into the older teen's bare chest.

"Kid…" Dante poked Nero's cheek and the younger groaned, squinching his eyes closed.

"Whhhaaaaatttt?" he mumbled sleepily.

"Wake up, I have an idea."

"Just tell it to me…"

"No, you have to be awake for this." He said, rubbing the partial devil's shoulder, trying to get the blood moving and get him up and awake at the very least. Nero blinked and yawned, slowly shuffling upright, not even realizing the rather intimate position he'd been in with the half devil.

"What do you want Dante?" he mumbled, still wiping sleep from his eyes.

"You should come with me, leave this crummy little town, come with me. I've got a little place in Capulet, you should come stay with me there, I've been thinking about starting up a devil hunting business."

"A what…?" Nero mumbled, turning to look at him, and Dante could tell from the dull look he was getting that the younger teen was most definitely not awake.

"Jeez you slept hard, let me get some coffee going and then I'll tell you my plan, cause you need to be awake to hear this."

"…need help findin' it?" Nero mumbled.

"I've got this, I'll find it." Dante said, jumping to his feet and dashing into the kitchen, Nero immediately laid back down on the now vacated couch and fell asleep instantly.

Dante came back not two minutes later to a lightly snoring partial devil who he not so kindly shoved awake with his foot.

"What." Nero grouched, not happy about being woken back up

"Wake up. Here, got you the magic worker." He shoved a cup of coffee into the younger teen's hands and sat down next to him, sipping from his own cup and looking nearly giddy as he slowly watched consciousness return to his friend. After a few moments and several sips Nero asked.

"So what is it that you feel the need to wake me up twice for? It better be good."

"You should leave here, come live with me in Capulet." Dante said excitedly and Nero simply blinked at him.

"What?" he said, confused.

"You should stay with me in Capulet, I'm thinking of starting up a demon hunting business."

"Whoa whoa whoa… slow down." The partial devil was certainly awake now. "You want me to just leave Fortuna?"

"What's keeping you here?" Dante asked quietly and Nero hesitated. He hated his job, the only family that he even remotely had was Kyrie and Credo, he had no real attachment to his house.

"I don't know…" he paused "maybe just because I don't know what's out there?" he mumbled, biting his lip.

"I know, I can show you, come on, aren't you guys allowed to leave this island, you could take a week vacation and if you like staying with me we can make it permanent, all I'm asking is that you give it a shot."

"I can't just… up and leave though…"

"Why not? I thought you said there's nothing keeping you here."

"There isn't… not really…"

"Not really?"

"I have a couple people I'd have to say goodbye to but it's more that we're not allowed to leave this island."

"Since when have you been a big rule follower?" Dante asked with a small smirk, he'd been able to tell right away that Nero was the kind of guy thought rules were made to be broken.

"I try to avoid breaking ones that will get me on a hit list." The partial devil said with a frown and Dante poked his demonic arm.

"And how will they be able to stop the two of us huh?"

"They…" the younger teen paused "won't…" he realized suddenly, eyes widening.

"See? So what'd'ya say? You wanna see what it's like out in the real world?" Dante asked with a grin. Nero visibly swallowed, looked at his hands and then nodded.

"Yeah… I'm sick of this town anyway." He clenched his fists and stood up.

"Where're you going?" the half devil asked.

"To pack my things. You said you wanna leave, then let's leave." He was about to start up the stairs when there came a knock on his door.

"This is the Order of the Sword! Open up!"

A/N: The way the titles are designed in this fic make the verbal cliffhangers interesting, because in case you hadn't noticed, the title is always the last thing spoken in the chapter.

Till next time,
