I'm posting againn! How's that for making up for lost time? This is a cute chapter. Most of it is filler but there's a spot of tears towards the end. I really hope I got Alice down to a T...she's very bubbly.

Disclaimer: If I was Stephenie Meyer, I would not have started making a scrapbook of my high school years, because I'd already be done. Duhh.

Not So Happy Thanksgiving--

Alice's POV.

I was finding it very hard to believe that I'd been living in Forks for four months—it was already Thanksgiving! Time had flown by in this quaint little town, and I for one loved it here.

I mean, it's just so beautiful! The trees are always green, it always smells like rain and the people are so friendly. The one thing I don't like though, is the shopping. Yuck. There are no good stores in Forks, and the closest mall is in Port Angeles and I hate it there.

Oh well.

Ooh, and I'm loving school! Maybe it's because my classes are super easy. Or maybe it's because of the one, the only, Jasper Hale.

Eeee! I just love himmm! Even though I've only known him for like, well, four months, he's the sweetest, kindest, hottest, funniest, most fantastic boy I've ever met. And he likes me. ME. Alice (what's her middle name?) Cullen. We're total opposites. He's quiet and reserved and brilliant and I'm loud and crazy and exciting. (Maybe a little obnoxious too, but Jasper doesn't seem to mind!)

I think that's why we're so great together. We're a balancing act.

Anyway, I do love some other people in Forks. Like Bella! She's so sweet—and absolutely perfect for my brother! If only she could see that. Although I have noticed them getting closer lately…which is in no way a bad thing. They're best friends. Soon to be more. Hopefully.

We were out of school for the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week. I was really happy about that—can we say shoppingggg? On Wednesday, my mother informed me that Charlie Swan had invited us for Thanksgiving dinner. That made me even happier, because that meant spending time with Bella!

So, I took Mom shopping with me to begin creating my winter wardrobe, as well as picking up groceries to make dessert for the next day. I even bought Bella a Thanksgiving present; but don't tell her! It's a surprise.

On Thursday morning, I woke up earlier than normal. I wanted to get a jumpstart on the day. I took a nice, hot shower, and then spent twenty minutes perfecting my outfit, as well as hair and makeup. Then, I took it upon myself to wake Edward up. Bwahahaha.

I tiptoed to his room, and quietly peeked through his door. He was sound asleep, half hanging off of his bed; mouth open and everything. Chuckling softly, I walked over to him and sat on the edge of the bed, and began bouncing. He didn't move.

"Edward," I said. He grunted and rolled over, hugging his pillow.

I rolled my eyes. "Edward," I said again, louder. I nudged his arm.

"Go away," he said groggily.

"No. You have to get up. It's Thanksgiving!" I said cheerfully.

Edward ignored me and flipped over onto his stomach.

"If you don't get up, I'm going to sing Hannah Montana!" I threatened in a singsong voice.

He simply grunted.

"Alright then. Hmmm…which one should I sing?" I thought for a moment.

"You wake up; it's raining and it's Monday. Looks like one of those rough days. Time's up, you're late again so get out the door…"

He didn't move. I continued. "Sometimes, you feel like running. Find a whole new life and jump in. Let go—get up and hit the dance floor. But when the lights go down, it's the ending of the show. And you're feeling like you got no where to go…don't you know?"

"I know that I want you out of my room!" Edward yelled. I giggled and took a deep breath.

"Don't do it Alice!" he warned.

"You can change your hair, and you can change your clothes. You can change your mind that's just the way it goes. You can say goodbye or you can say hello, but you'll always find your way back home. You can change your style; you can change your jeans. You can learn to fly and you can chase your dreams. You can laugh and cry but everybody knows, you'll always find your way back home."

I was dancing in the middle of his bedroom floor. Edward sat up and growled. "Shut up, pixie!"

I laughed again and raised my voice. "There's always gonna be another mountain. I'm always gonna wanna make it moooove. There's always gonna be an uphill battle—and sometimes I'm gonna have to loooose. Ain't about how fast I get there. Ain't about what's waiting on the other siiiiiide…It's the cliiiiiiiiib!"

Edward charged at me, picking me up and slinging me over his shoulder. He carried me down the hallway. I continued to sing, although I was gasping for breath through my laughter. "The last time I freaked out, I just kept looking down. I st-st-stuttered when you asked me what I'm thinking 'bout. Felt like I couldn't breathe. You asked what's wrong with me. My best friend Edward said 'oh she's just being Alice.'" I always substituted our names when I sang that song. I thought it was funny.

When we reached the living room, which joined with the kitchen, he gently threw me down onto our couch. Then he sat on my stomach to where I really couldn't breathe.

"Edward!" I gasped. He chuckled and stood up. He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek.

"Happy Thanksgiving, Alice." He walked back towards his bedroom.

I sat up, desperately trying to catch my breath. I looked into the kitchen and my parents were standing there, looking at me like I was insane. I collapsed into another fit of laughter.

Still Alice's POV.

I got out of Edward's Volvo and pranced across the Swans' front lawn. I knocked as my family followed slowly behind me. When Charlie opened the door, I threw my arms around him. My hug surprised him; he gently patted my back, unsure of what I was doing.

"Happy Thanksgiving, Charlie!"

Charlie chucked. "You too. Come on in."

We filed into the kitchen, which smelled like turkey. "Mmm…" I said, sniffing.

"Bella cooked. She's upstairs in her room, if you want to go get her," Charlie said.

I nodded and grabbed Edward's hand. I pulled him up the staircase and knocked on Bella's door. We could hear her talking from the inside.

"Hold on a sec," she said. Then she opened the door. Bella was on the phone and she broke out into a grin when she saw us. "Hey! Come in." She opened the door wider and I immediately ran over to her closet.

"The Cullens are here," she said to whoever she was talking to. I soon tuned her out though, and began making a list for our next shopping trip.

Bella's POV. (Before the Cullens arrived.)

I was frantically searching for my missing earring. I was on all fours and looking under my desk when my phone starting buzzing in my pocket.

Emmett. "Hey," I said.

"Sup, Bella?"

"Umm, looking for my earring. You?"

"Nothing much. I have some bad news though," he said hesitantly. I sat up too quickly and hit my head on the underside of my desk.

"Oww!" I yelled. "Crap! Oww."

"What happened this time?" he asked, chuckling.

"I hit my head on my desk."

Emmett's laughter was like a clap of thunder. I smiled. He always found my clumsiness amusing, no matter how frequently I hurt myself. "Silly Bella."

"Yeah, yeah," I said. There was a knock on my door. "Hold on a sec."

I walked to my door and opened it, revealing Alice and Edward. I switched my phone to my other ear. "Hey! Come in." Of course, Alice immediately ran over to my closet. Oh dear. Edward sat on my bed, giving me a quizzical look as to who I was talking to. "Emmett," I mouthed. He nodded.

"The Cullens are here," I said to Emmett. "What bad news did you have?"

"Oh, uhh…" he paused. "I can't come to dinner."

I stopped walking; I turned to face Edward, put my hand on my hip, and bit my lip. "Oh. How come?" Edward's green eyes filled with concern as they gazed intently into mine.

"The parentals," Emmett said. "They want to do some weird family thing. But we can hang out tomorrow, right? Just me and you."

I closed my eyes. "Oh. Okay. Yeah, of course we can."

"I'm sorry, Bella."

I sighed. "It's alright."

"Well, I gotta go, but, I love you!" he said, cheerfully.

I smiled bleakly, willing the tears to go away. "I love you too. Bye." I hung up, threw my phone onto my bed and ran into Edward's open arms.

"Talk to me, sweetie."

Edward's POV.

Bella took a deep breath and looked into my eyes. "He can't come to dinner," she said, her voice shaking. "Because of his parents. Or something."

I wiped away a tear that had fallen onto her cheek. "Do you believe him?"

She shrugged, then buried her face into my shoulder. I hugged her tighter. "It'll be alright Bella. Shhh. I'm here for you."

I was thankful Alice was too busy to notice all of this, or else she'd be making a big deal out of it. When Bella had calmed down, she kissed me on the cheek, smiled, and stood up. She walked to her mirror and wiped away her smeared makeup, erasing any evidence of tears. She had just finished when there was a knock on the door.

Charlie appeared, smiling. "Dinner, kids."

Alice squealed. "Eee! Turkey!" She danced out of the room, Charlie following behind her.

Bella and I laughed. She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me. "Thank you, Edward."

I smiled, and kissed the top of her head. "It's not a problem. Now let's go gain a few pounds, shall we? Try not to think about it."

She laughed, and nodded. "Alright." She linked her arm through mine and together we walked to the kitchen.
