Now look I uploaded this again because of mistakes or things that didn't make sense thanks to the user "The Teletrap" He basically pointed out some things wrong with the tenth and seventh chapters. The things I changed in this chapter was the way the fight happened with RWBY and Jaune. While the only thing I changed in chapter seven was when Pyrrha said they mourned for him for a weekend and Teletrap pretty much just said that a "whole weekend" is pretty short time to mourn for someone that supposedly "died".
So, yeah. That was what I wanted to say about that. But now lets move onto something else that is important, you know? Like, uhhhh, what was it? A thousand and seven hundred and nine fucking views, really? I am a happy piece of... bitch. No really though, I appreciate it and I hope to still make more content in the future. But that is about it so see ya.
"Well, we're in the shit now." Adelmo says.
The students were excited. Especially team RWBY and NPR as they get to see Jaune and their new friends fight other students and see how well they do, seeing as they only got the "classic" weapons.
"So who's first?" Ozpin asks, looking at Jaune and the group of warriors.
Jaune was happy to go first. So he steps forward and takes off his helmet staring up at the crowd of students.
"I'll be first."
Ruby and the others were surprised by Jaune's confidence, considering that they haven't hung out with him until recently, they didn't really know much about how he has changed as a person or a fighter. Ozpin looks at Jaune and accepts his choice to fight first.
"Alright. Well than Arc who do you choose to fight?"
All the students seemed ready to jump into the fight but only if Jaune called on them. Jaune called the team he wanted to fight when he said which team he wanted to fight no one had a shocked reaction. That was until Jaune said he wanted to fight the whole team by himself which made the students and teachers alike dumbstruck, it even caught Ozpin off guard.
"I'm sorry, Arc did you say that correctly? You just said you wanted to fight all of team RWBY." Said Ms. Goodwitch
"I know so can I?" Jaune asked as if it was nothing to worry about.
"O-Of course Jaune, team RWBY! Get down here and get into your battle stances!" she said.
With that, the four teenage girls walked down the aisle noticing the stares they got as walking down. At one row Cardin and his team members were whispering to team CFVY betting who would win.
"Hey anyone finds it little fishy Jaune picked them and not me? Especially since I bullied him and all? Anyway who you guys going for?"
Coco, who had her glasses down because she was genuinely interested in the fight replied to Cardin's question.
"Hmm, dunno but still this fights going to be interesting. I'm betting on team Rubes what do you think Fox?"
"RWBY."
She nods, then turns to Yatsuhashi.
"Yatsu?"
"I feel like maybe Jaune has something up his sleeve, so I will go with Jaune."
"You always did support underdogs." Coco said nodding her head side to side.
"Velvet?"
The bunny Faunus looks at her and gives her honest opinion.
"I think it might be Jaune. He seems to have become a good fighter."
"Your only saying that because you had a crush on him." Coco said grinning.
"NO I DIDN'T!" Velvet whispered loudly.
Fox and Yatsuhashi were chuckling next to them, being amused by their argument and finding out Velvet had feelings for Jaune at some point.
"To bad he's with the champion Pyrrha, maybe if you showed him a "fun" time and some of your "Carrot Cake" he would go out with you." Coco said smiling.
"Too bad he's with the champion Pyrrha, maybe if you showed him a "fun time" he would go out with you." Coco said smiling.
Velvet cheeks turned very red, while the two boys were both trying to hide the fact that they laughing their asses off. A voice caused team CFVY and CRDL stayed quiet as they heard Ozpin saying something.
"Tell me Jaune, why did you choose team RWBY? They're the top-ranking first-year team." Ozpin said with a loud voice to let everyone hear.
Jaune replied to Ozpin with a straightforward answer.
"Ozpin, I would have chosen Cardin and his team but I chose team RWBY instead because I want to show everyone how much I have changed."
"So that's why he didn't choose to fight me." Cardin said from his seat.
Ozpin seemed satisfied and sighed with a smile.
Yang, Ruby, Blake, and Weiss were thinking about multiple things as they were waiting for Jaune to finish talking with the Headmaster. Something that made Blake and Weiss worry was his confidence and his calmness during this situation as the old Jaune would have probably been looking at them nervously shaking with fear instead he turned away from Ozpin and faced them. For Yang his height and armor alone put her off, Jaune now looked to be 6'3 or 6'4 making him more menacing in that armor. For Ruby, she wasn't certain what put her off but she got into her fighting stance. But as the girls pulled their weapons he stood there, helmet on and just looked at them, hand on his hilt staring at them staying silent. It was off-putting for the audience, teachers, and the girls.
"Pyrrha, why is Jaune just standing there?" Nora says.
Pyrrha also was confused and just replied with.
"I don't know."
Ren seemed very confident in his friend's ability to fight and reassured them.
"I'm sure Jaune knows what he is doing or else why would he have chosen to fight all of team RWBY."
"Jaune do you really want to just stand there?" said wondering what the Knight was planing.
"Just start the fight, Glynda."
Glynda nodded and began to speak.
"Are all the combatants ready?! Alright then, let the fight... COMMENCE!"
As soon as she said that word, Blake immediately presses a button on Gambol Shroud turning it into a katana and goes for a stab. But Jaune was prepared to counter the attack so he used his hand to push Blake's blade away, the same way he did with Shigeru's. Blake was surprised by Jaune's block and then he formed his fighting stance pulling out his sword, Crocea Mors except its blade was now longer and worn looking.
As Blake stumbled after being pushed, while she stumbled he took his time to form one of the fight stances he learned during his training. He started to picture his former Warden Drill Sergeant, Erwin demonstrates the stance.
The young cat Faunus tried to attack him in multiple directions but they were blocked or parried. Seeing as their friend was not able to get a hit on Jaune, Yang runs over to help Blake Jaune. So she tries an uppercut but fails as Jaune dodges to the left. Jaune quickly moves towards them before rolling backwards as Yang goes for a left hook, Ruby stops firing and presses a button turning her sniper into her beloved scythe, Crescent Rose. She dashes forward using her ability and manages to get up close to Jaune, she proceeds in her attack and tries to slash at him only to be dodged.
Both the Knight and team RWBY stop fighting and study each other's movements for a moment. During this time students are conversing with each other about what they just saw. Jaune had been able to fend off all of the girl's attacks so far without being hit once impressing a lot of students.
"So are we still going to stand here! Or are you going to attack?!" Jaune taunted.
Than suddenly Weiss appeared and she was trying to perform a tried attack from the top with Myrtenaster, the name of her sword. Jaune then deflected it knocking the blade away while still moving his blade down towards her, holding onto it and slashed Weiss.
"incumbuī!" He yelled.
"What did he say?" Nora asked, with a confused expression.
Weiss stepped back to look at her damage to her aura, it was still in green but Jaune hit pretty hard so it was still in green barely. Blake and Yang attacked him at the same time, so Jaune quickly blocked Blake's attack and quickly grabbed Yang's shoulder and threw her at Weiss causing minimal damage to their aura. Ruby was lining up her sniper and Jaune had seen Ruby aiming so turning his head towards Blake he quickly grabbed her and held her in front of him as a human shield, at same time the bullet collided and the bullet hit Blake in the chest causing significant damage to her and it had brought down her aura to yellow.
"Holy shit! Did Jaune just do that?!" Sky said suddenly.
"When did he have time to become such a good fighter." Cardin said.
Fox looked at Coco and asked her about her thoughts on the fight now.
"So Coco what are you thinking now?" Fox asked curiously.
"I'm not sure anymore, Jaune is certainly better than before and he hasn't been hit at all yet so his aura's full which gives him the advantage while Blake is in yellow and Weiss one hit away from going into yellow. So it's not looking good for them. I'm still going for team RWBY on this one though." Coco replied.
And at the table where the teachers observed the fight, professor Oobleck and professor Port were commenting on Jaune's fighting style.
"Hmm, Jaune seems to be very proficient at using that long sword of his." Port said watching the battle.
"Yes, but where did he get that sword? It seems familiar, but I put my finger on it." Oobleck says.
Ozpin hears Oobleck's comment about Jaune's sword and speaks to him and Port.
"That is Jaune's family sword, Crocea Mors."
"Really?! Interesting he must have had it modified during the time he was in Eiríni."
As they finished their conversation they looked to see that Jaune was charging at the girls as they got back into their battle stances. As he ran slashed at them they moved away except Blake and was cut down, but when she was cut in half she then disappeared. Jaune realized he cut down Blake's clone not her, that was Blake's semblance at work, her semblance allowed her to create a decoy of herself to take the hit while she tried to find a place to reposition and attack her target. Jaune spun around feeling someone come from behind him and swung his sword as well to slash at the person. When he felt contact made with his sword and he saw someone fall to the floor he stopped and looked to who he cut down. He looked to see it was Blake on the ground then he looked at the big screen showing their aura levels and she was still in yellow.
She tried to stand up quickly and run to group up with the rest of her team. But instead, Jaune grabbed her hand and pulled her up to her feet, making her think that he was being friendly, only to quickly hit her with the butt of the hilt, making her grab her stomach instantly in pain. Then she looked to see Jaune mid-swing holding his longsword by the blade as he uses the hilt as a blunt weapon. Once the hilt met with the side of her head she was knocked out.
"Ms. Belladona has been taken out via knockout, she is no longer fit to fight." Ms. Goodwitch announces.
With this Jaune turns to the three flabbergasted girls and chuckled, holding up his sword with his hand and pointed at them with it.
"Who's next?"
An audible gulp could be heard from Ruby as she saw Jaune start walking menacingly towards them holding the sword by its blade it rested on his shoulders. In the crowd of students, there was silence in the crowd, before Jaune was just the kid who lost every match and was most definitely the worst fighter of their generation. The kid who was bullied, teased, and made fun of for being the weak link or damsel in distress. Now here he was walking nonchalantly after knocking one of the four of his opponents out, his opponents who also happened to be the best team in his grade.
As he walked closer, they closed on him and attacked. Weiss started to throw many quick hits at Jaune that were blocked, she backed off. Then it was followed up by a slash from Ruby's scythe Jaune just rolled away and got up to a punch from Yang, which he dodged. On the screen Jaune's health was full. He backed away slowly then he took out two objects one was a stun grenade Wardens use called the "Fiat Lux" and an explosive nicknamed "Pugno Mortis". Weiss and Ruby dashed towards him, Weiss flanking left and Ruby flanking right. He knew what to do. Since Ruby was using her semblance, she was going faster than Weiss and once she got close enough to Jaune she was grabbed by him and then was thrown into Weiss.
As they were on the floor he threw "Pugno Mortis" near them and in two to three quick seconds it exploded bringing both of their auras into yellow. The whole audience was shocked by this, they didn't think Knights would carry explosives with them.
"Yes! Jaune is doing great!" Velvet said excitedly.
"I seem to be correct in my choice of the winner." Yatsuhashi says.
"Well shit, I still think RWBY can beat him. Why is it so hard for them to fight him now? He's only been gone for a month." Coco says.
"Who knows, but he'll probably tell us later. But look!" Dove says pointing at the arena. Jaune slowly backs away before raising his sword again and lets out a furious roar.
"AAAAGRRRAAAHHHH!"
He charged into them first he slashed hit Weiss while dashing forward causing her aura to go into orange, then Ruby attacked him from the back, the hit connecting bringing his aura down by a bit and he turned around and shoulder bashed her before doing two quick attacks bring down her aura to orange as well. He spun back around to attack Weiss but she backed away and Yang ran up to him trying to punch him and fire at him with her shotgun gauntlets which were named Ember Celica. She missed and was pushed away and Jaune turned his attention back Weiss and brought down upon her a heavy attack, she was going to try and parry it only to realize too late that Jaune feinted the attack. He grabbed Myrtenaster, throwing it to side, he than unscrewed his pommel hastily and turned around quickly to face Ruby and threw it at the back of her head knocking her out. Then he faced Weiss, seeing that she was running over to her weapon he dashed over to her and cut her down, bringing her aura to nothing.
"Ruby is now knocked out and Weiss's aura has run out. Both of them are now unable to fight." Ms. Goodwitch announced.
"How the fu-" Coco was about to say, then gets interrupted by Russel.
"I can't believe it! Jaune might win this!" Russel says with a voice of shock and excitement.
"Tsk, tsk, Russel. But I think this might be the end of Jauney, look at Yang." Coco pointed out.
Russel and the rest of team CRDL saw as Yang as her eyes turned red watching a single strand of golden hair fall in front of her.
"Yup, he's screwed." Dove said, now thinking that Jaune wouldn't be able to do this.
Jaune turned to face Yang as her eyes started to glow red as a piece of gold hair flew down. He knew why and was ready, he had defended against enough of their attacks to be able to activate revenge. So he activated it and started to glow orange and seemed as if he was on fire. They charged at each other going blow after blow and both parties failing at getting the upper hand against the other. Than Jaune realized Blake's weapon was the perfect way to end this fight, so as they fought he made sure that they were getting near Blake's unconscious body. When they were close enough, Jaune punched her in the face and then threw "Fiat Flux" to the ground and rolled over to Gambol Shroud while the grenade sat on the floor about to detonate with Yang looking at it in confusion before it flashed and then she was blinded for a few seconds. He acted quick, he pressed a button on Gambol Shroud changing it into its grappling hook form and shot it into the wall and used the line that connected the hook to Gambol Shroud as a rope and tied Yang's hands together in her blinded state. When she shook it off and looked around her she realized two things. One her hands were tied up and both of her shotgun gauntlets were removed from her wrists. Two Jaune was staring at her through his helmet, sword point almost touching the skin on her neck.
"Do you yield?" Jaune said slowly.
Yang hung her head and sighed.
"I... Yield.."
"Jaune Arc is the winner!"
Some cheering and claps came from the crowd of students as this was announced.
"Holy shit..." Cardin said.
"So Coco still going for team RWBY?" Fox said grinning.
"Shut up." Coco had her aviators on again, probably trying to hide her look of defeat. Knowing the team she went for lost.
"YEAH! Jaune did it, you guys!" Nora said loudly.
"Nora please quiet down," Ren said calmly.
Pyrrha just sat there looking at him in astonishment.
"He really has changed a lot." She said.
