Hey, everyone. So, it's been over a year and half since I last updated this. I am very sorry for making you all wait but I had a major writing block happen when it comes to this story. Every time that I tried to write a chapter, my brain just wouldn't let anything through. I feel so guilty for leaving it this long. Between writer's block on this particular story and poor health, it's been annoying having this story there without an update. Anyway, here is the next ver long awaited chapter that I hope you all enjoy and I promise more regular and longer updates to follow. Enjoy and please let me know what you think.
Thank you for all the reviews. You're my rocks. Thanks!

All mistakes are my own
Adele opened her eyes to find herself staring up at a grey ceiling. She rose to her feet but widened her eyes at the sight all around her. Stacked against the walls, on all four walls, were the bodies of the people she had killed during her life. Some accidental but many she had killed on purpose. As she turned around, she jumped when she saw Reid standing in front of her.
"The mind can be so telling when you're asleep," Reid said as he walked around the room. "You killed all these people. Why?"
"I don't have to tell you anything," Adele snapped as she raised her hand. Panic came to her eyes when nothing happened. "My power. Where is my power?!"
"The only one with power is me," Reid smirked. "Right now, all of you sick people are asleep and I'm going to make sure you pay for what you've each done. You were all given these gifts but you used them for selfish and evil deeds. You're all too dangerous to be allowed in the world."
"You're nothing but a hypocrite," Adele shook her head. "You'll kill us all but you didn't want to kill that woman. The same woman who experimented on us and wanted to use us against our will."
"I'm not going to kill you, Adele. I'm not going to kill any of you," Reid said simply.
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to make you dream forever. You can pay for your crimes and live with what you've done for the rest of your life trapped here," he explained as he stepped back. A door appeared behind him but Adele couldn't move in her efforts to get to it. "You're going to stay here for the rest of your days surrounded by those you killed but be assured, things won't be quiet."
Adele slammed her hands over her ears as the corpses around her began to scream at a high pitch. Reid stepped out of the room and closed the door.
"No, come back. Don't do this to me! No!" Adira screamed but it was no use. The screams of her victims were now the soundtrack to her own personal hell.
Reid closed his eyes and ignored the pain he was in. He had done something he had never thought he was capable of. He had pulled the team into his dreams before but he was familiar with their minds and it had caused him pain even then. This was different. He had pulled in unknown minds to the dream world all at once and now he was suffering the consequences. His power had limits and he was afraid he had crossed those limits.
He opened his eyes and found himself in the next mind. This time he had arrived standing on a lake that had frozen over.
"Why am I here?" A man behind him said in confusion. "What did you do?!"
Reid looked down as something bumped against the ice. He crouched down and brushed away the icy film. A decayed corpse bumped against the ice with its haunting eyes nothing but white. "You killed this woman."
"She deserved it," the man snarled before storming over and grabbing Reid by the throat. He stared at his hand expecting something to happen but it never did. "Why isn't this working? You should be nothing but ice."
The man grunted as an invisible force pushed him back.
"You have the power to freeze people and turn them to ice. Anthony, you killed this woman and you have to pay."
"How do you know my name?"
"When I come into a dream, I can dig deep if I want to and I can hear every thought inside your head. Dreams are the one place where secrets can come to light. I would have had a harder time knowing you had killed someone if you had been ashamed of the murder and locked it away. Instead, it's out in the open in your mind. I can sense you were proud of your murder."
"Bitch had it coming," Anthony said before gritting his teeth. "She thought she could leave me but I showed her what a cold hearted bitch she truly was. No-one leaves me."
Reid stepped back a few steps and watched as the ice surrounding Anthony began to melt. Anthony tried to move but found him stuck in one spot. "You're going to spend the rest of your life with the woman you killed telling you the truth of your actions. She's going to sit in front of you and ask you one question. Why? You're not going to be able to move for the rest of your life or ever wake up."
Anthony let out a small scream as a hand smashed through the ice and grabbed his ankle.
"Onto the next one," Reid moaned as the pain in his mind got worse.
The team were still trying to locate Reid when Garcia and Blake let out a gasp. "We know where he is."
"Where? How?" Hotch demanded as he walked over to the laptop.
Blake pointed to the screen. "I saw this when I was in Reid's dream. This is the exact waterfall."
"I did a search for properties and found an abandoned warehouse near it which is where Reid must have been kept. He's out there and we need to find him."
"Everyone, I want you ready to go in ten minutes. Just us. We have no idea what we are walking into and we can't have anyone else knowing about Reid's ability. Get ready and down to the cars. Go!"
Reid moved from yet another dream and found himself struggling to maintain control over himself. No matter what dream he entered in any mind, the banging grew louder and the strain made it harder to ignore. The locks were breaking around his dark alter ego's prison and he just hoped they lasted long enough for him to finish locking away the others. Since Anthony, he had locked away three more people in their own personal prisons. Each time he entered another's mind, he wanted the person to be good but all of their evil deeds revealed themselves quickly. One of the other men had raped and killed women after paralysing them with one touch. Reid had made sure to paralyse him and trap him so that he was forever looking at his victims. The woman called Coco who had used her telekinesis to try to crush his heart in the waking world was now trapped like Adele, with her victims screaming and her own heart in constant pain. The third had the ability of super strength and had used to his ability to kill people and cause fear. Using the man's fear of being weak, Reid had turned him into a man with no muscles or strength. He had left him in a room which he would never escape.
Out of the eight people he had known to escape, only seven had been at the camp-site and he only had two minds to deal with before he could wake up.
'Spencer!'
Reid clenched his eyes shut and grabbed his head as his dark self screamed for attention.
Forest
Hotch and the team arrived at the forest area after a forty minute drive and spread out in a pair and a group of three. Garcia had wanted to come but had been forced to stay back to keep her safe and out of danger. Morgan and Hotch went to find the abandoned building but instead found themselves looking up to see smoke coming from with the forest.
"JJ, Blake, Rossi," Hotch said into his radio. "Smoke coming from the forest. Meet us there."
Twenty minutes later
Morgan and Hotch both struggled to catch their breath as they finally managed to get to the location where the smoke originated. They came over a ridge to find a large group of people unconscious with two others dead.
"Reid!" Morgan shouted as he skidded down the ridge to his friend's side. Blood leaked from Reid's closed eyes, nose and from the corner of his mouth. "Reid, wake up! Come on, we're here now. You can wake up."
Hotch came by his side and checked Reid's pulse. "His pulse is slow."
Morgan opened his friend's eyes but was shocked at what he saw. "Hotch, his eyes are pure white."
Hotch checked Reid's eyes too and then looked to the others that were also unconscious. "Morgan, could he have put them all to sleep?"
"Why would he do that?" Morgan questioned.
"Judging by the two dead bodies, something went down and whatever happened meant danger to Reid."
"He's never done anything like this," Morgan shook his head. "He's pushing himself and his mind too far. He's killing himself!"
Garcia stirred Reid's hair into the cup and took a deep breath as she walked to the door and locked it. Going to the couch, she sat down and prepared to drink the dream tea. "I can't sit here and do nothing," she shook her head.
Downing the tea, Garcia let out a small cough before feeling the cup slipping out her hand. She fell back against the couch and knew she would be with Reid soon.
