Chapter 10 - Lucker
"What am I going to do? I promised Alya!" Adrien complained. He stared at his little god, hoping to get an answer out of him. It didn't take long before he did get a very reasonable answer. "Adrien is not allowed out. But you know who is allowed out?"
"Cat Noir!" They said simultaneously.

"I am Lucker!"
This was a bit of a sticky situation for Marinette to be stuck in; she had no clue what was going on, who this evil villain was... and she didn't know what he was saying! A lot of mysteries had occurred at this moment, but mainly - who was Lucker and what was Marinette going to do?
He decided to leave her, he could just tell that she was already having enough bad luck. He cackled mischievously before exiting her room.

Back downstairs, where all was calm, a certain blond had finally managed to show up. Every muscle that danced the night away had paused when the loud slam of a closing door had alarmed everyone. However, when some saw that it was just someone entering the party late, they resumed. Those who were Alya and Nino were a bit too excited.
"Dude! You finally made it!" Nino claimed. Adrien chucked softly as he replied, "I didn't wanna miss the party. I promised Alya," he looked and smiled at Alya, "Where's Marinette?"
Alya scratched her head before she spoke, "I think she went up to her room. She maybe wanted to get out for a bit." Her brown eyes got distracted by a silver and glittery bag, that looked incredibly large. "Is that Marinette's present?" she asked whilst pointing downwards.
Adrien looked down and remembered, he had forgotten all about it! "O-Oh yeah! I wanted to get her something special, I just hope it makes up for everything and I hope we can start over."
Before Alya or Nino had time to respond, the whole room silenced before them, blackened out before them and died before them.
The mysterious cackle of a devilish voice has boomed into the room, making everyone not only confused but petrified.
Said devilish voice had shone his shadow into the black room, then started to yell. "I am Lucker! So you all think you have the best luck? Well, you're all wrong! Say goodbye to your luck, bad luck is your new best friend."
Once the light had made an appearance, Adrien was the first one to yell, "Everyone get out of here!" and to literally chase them out. They all obeyed him, except Alya. "Wait!" she halted, "Where's Marinette?!"
Oh, shoot.
Honestly, he didn't forget about her, he just was a bit rushed and a little too confused as to what was happening. He managed to settle Alya down, who was currently trying to get past him, only to keep on failing.
"I'll go check on her." he said softly. "Go."

To be honest, every single fellow and poor citizen had absolutely no idea or a clue what was currently going on. As Mayor Bourgeois once had said, "We are the luckiest city that had ever existed." Once he saw what chaos was happening outside, he immediately took back his words.
This one lad was just casually carrying a huge six layer delicious cake. That was gone.
This one lass ruined her new Chenel shoes, by simply stepping into a little dog's horrible business. They were gone.
The young teenager who had started working for Jagged Stone? Her job? That was gone.
Back up in his room, the mayor had started pacing the room, trying to work what to do. Until he realised. He picked up his expensive telephone and started speaking into it. "Hello? Is this the police? Get me the army force and everyone ASAP!"
Sirens had blared from everywhere moments later. Although for every fast car that had zoomed by had ended up crashing. For every helicopter that had flown over had ended up crashing. They crashed into literally anything, injurying not just the drivers, but also a lot of innocent citizens.
What was actually happening?
Let's just say that if you had good luck, it would all be gone.

"Tikki... we have a problem. What was that? Who was that?"
"An akuma. Remember that little butterfly you have to capture?"
Marinette sat whilst thinking hard. Then it hit her!
"Yes! Now I remember!"
She stood back up and walked over to her desk. Some memories of first meeting Tikki had suddenly shot back. Maybe Marinette had trouble accepting the fact that it's fighting time? She was scared. Anxious. More importantly, she was worried about her problem. What if something happened during the fight and she couldn't hear anymore? What if she had trouble understanding what Cat Noir was trying to tell her? What if Cat Noir got annoyed at her problem? That could risk everything.
Not just them, but Paris could be in great danger.
"Marinette, we really got to get going now!" Tikki had yelled over and over again for a good few minutes.
Before she had managed to call out her soon-to-be-famous words, she suddenly grabbed her poor ears.
She swore that she heard something.
Something that was NOT Tikki.
It was a someone.
Did she just hear someone?
It sounded like a familiar voice.
A really familiar voice.
But she couldn't think of who that said voice was.
Then she turned around slowly. A dark and ghostly shadow had mysteriously appeared and was silently approaching her.
'Well, this is the end.'
