"So I wasn't suppose to die, but because of Zabuza's attack actually connected and my teammates forsaking me I would of?"

"Yes, Fate had casted you a different thread. Zabuza somehow defied this and nearly killed you. Afterwards we showed up and discussed your fate. Everyone agreed to fix your body and grant you the gift of Evolution."

"What is Evolution," Naruto asked Inari.

"Evolution is the theory of gradual change over thousands of years will allow for a new species. Like a fish eventually becoming a cat or a dog."

"So how does my so called gift and evolution go hand in hand?"

"I believe I can answer young Hanyou," Shinigami strolled into the room. "I was its creator after all."

"Very well explain."

"The gift I gave you is actually called Kekkei Genkai Evolution. Whenever your around the strongest user of a kekkei genkai, your body will assimilate it. Then it'll take on changes and evolve. Unlike the theory of evolution, Kekkei Genkai Evolution will 75% of the time will yield a new kekkei genkai. Though there is a failsafe that if it does happen then you'll get both the new kekkei genkai and the powerful version of the previous kekkei genkai."

"So how did I become a Hanyou?"

"I believe the gift took the Kyuubi's DNA and changed yours. Why it did that is unknown," replied Inari.

"So why am I in Kami's palace anyways?"

"Because I thought it over, and I am returning your mother to you and the Earth," commented Kami.

"Oh great so your letting me have back, the mother who abandoned me!"

"You have severe abandonment issues don't you," asked Kami rhetorically.

"I think I have a good reason for it. Considering my past, don't tell me my father escaped death as well."

"No, he is currently in my stomach. I made sure he was still dead before coming here."

"Sochi please hear me out. I didn't mean to abandon you at all."

"Why should I? For all I know you could be lying to me," shouted Naruto.

"Well that would be impossible for lying is forbidden in my territory. Physically it cannot happen, so any lie well not be spoken or you'll suffer severe pain. A failsafe for lairs being interrogated."

"Nice failsafe I could use something like that, but anyways fine. Kushina Uzumaki tell me why you abandoned me.

"Well...,"

-1 year after the Kyuubi attack-

A blood-covered woman could be seen unconscious on the forest floor. Hours seemed to pass before a group of merchants happened upon her. "Father look a woman. She looks really injured, we should help her."

"She's as good as dead me boy. Look at all the blood, besides if we don't hurry the Blight will overrun us." The father looked over to his son to find him loading her in his wagon.

"We can take her to the nearest village and leave her there if you like, but I will not abandon someone who needs our help." The son looked at his father with determination. This caused the father to sigh and agree with his son. They then went on their way to the nearest village.

-2 years after the attack-

The woman could be seen training in her swordplay. After being found by the merchant and then healed by the matron of the village she was left at, she went on to join the military. After an hour she stopped upon sensing movement behind her, "Alright Kushina the captain is ready to test you." The now named Kushina sheathed her sword and followed her superior. She was about to take her test and become a Grey Warden and join in the fight against the Blight.

"So how did the others do Alistair?"

The man in front of her turn around at her and smirked, "Oh they failed like the day they were born."

"You really hate the Templars don't you."

"Well I'm technically one, but yes I do."

"Well looks like we're here. See you around Alistair."

"You sure you don't want to have dinner with me later?"

"Get lost you hopeless flirt." Alistair grumbled and walked off after announcing her arrival to the captain.

"Ah, Kushina are you ready for your test?"

"Yes, Captain Duncan. Here is the blood you had requested," Kushina pulls out a small flask containing blood of Darkspawn, evil creatures created during the fall (A/N: Play Dragon Age: Origins if you want the lore). Duncan excepted the flask and poured it inside of a goblet a spoke a chant over it.

"Please don't call me that. Here drink this."

"Why am I drinking this," asked Kushina who wrinkled her nose.

"It is a test all Grey Wardens undergo. If you survive you will be able to sense Darkspawn and in turn they can sense you. Unlike the others I have high hopes in your success."

"What will happen if I fail?"

"The blood will kill you or turn you into a Darkspawn and I'll kill you."

"How reassuring," Kushina stared into the wreaking goblet before drinking the blood. Everything seemed fine until a searing pain shot through her body. This caused her to drop the goblet and faint. Just before she hit the ground Duncan caught her and laid her down gently.

"Now to see if you'll survive the test."

-Kushina's Dream-

Kushina looked around and notice she was someplace else and that the ground was trembling. All of a sudden a 50-foot dragon appeared and landed in front of her. 'The fuck, Darkspawn blood has some weird effects.'

"YOU MUST BE FOOLISH TO STAND AGAINST ME!"

'Did that thing just talk! Is it talking to me?' Kushina turned around to see she was alone with the beast.

"I'M TALKING TO YOU HUMAN! YOU ARE DIFFERENT FROM THOSE BEFORE! YOU HAVE A GREATER INNER POWER! I SHALL CRUSH IT!" With that the Archdemon reared its head back and let loose a torrent of flames. Kushina instinctively preformed hand signs and a wall of mud formed in front of her shielding her from the blast.

"Well that's new. I think," before Kushina could ponder she jolted awake to find Alistair and Duncan staring at her.

-Reality-

Kushina looked around and noticed the sheen of sweat she was covered in. "I was attacked by a dragon!"

"Calm down Kushina it was just a dream. Those normally occur during the test."

"Literally it attacked me and then I did some weird hand signs and a wall of mud shot up and protected me. Before that the dragon spoke to me."

"What did the Archdemon say," questioned a curious Alistair.

"Something about a inner power and how it was going to crushed it. The rest you know."

"Well it could of been a vision. While less common, they have been known to happen to special Wardens."

"It also could of been a clue to your past," stated Alistair.

"I wish it was a bit more helpful than that."

"Kushina I would like to officially welcome you to the Wardens. Now for your first mission I'm sending you to the Circle Tower. Perhaps the mages can provide some insight to this vision or dream. It could help with your amnesia if only a little bit."

-Kami's Palace, Current Time-

"That was just my first year. I had lost all memory, except for my name and all muscle memory. At the time I created clones without hand signs, so when I saw the vision I was severely confused. I later found out I was in a country known as Ferelden, in a different dimension."

"Why did you end up there?" Naruto was greatly confused.

"I had tried to summon her to my palace, but due to the area being cloaked in Kyuubi's aura and the presence of my brother, my powers were weakened. Instead of coming to my palace she went to another dimension. I later found out that due to her loss of memory, I could not touch her to send her back to your dimension."

"So the trauma of Kyuubi's extraction and the loss of blood led to her losing her memory. I guess it makes sense in a way," replied Naruto.
