Bankotsu looked at me with this smile like he had won and said "Put me down, or you will never know."

I slowly set him back on his feet and let him go. "Where is Kags?" I asked.

"I will tell you, but answer this first. Do you still love her?" he asked.

Why did he care? Of course I did. "Yes, now where is she" I said.

He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, looking defeated with my words. "She's in Kyoto. Keep her safe please." He started to walk away, but stopped "She has been safe the last two years I made sure of that." He told he the house she was staying in and walked away.

I told uncle and he said "Go get her."

Then Miroku and I were off to Kyoto.

KPOV

We were all in the kitchen helping make lunch and take it out into the back yard to eat on the picnic table. Since we all were tired of being in the house from packing from yesterday and this morning.

Sota and Kohaku just walked out back when the doorbell rang. I looked at Sango and we ran to the door. We tossed it open and said "Bankot-"we started when we stopped and saw InuYasha and Miroku standing in front of us on the porch.

Sango jumped into Miroku's open arms saying his name.

I stood there froze staring at Inu. He must have made the first move because I don't remember moving, his arms were around me holding me close. My own moved around his neck. "Kagome, I've missed you…" he said low.

The four of us stood there for what seemed like forever. Sango had pulled back and said, "Where's Shippo?"

I pulled back away from InuYasha buy I was still in his hold, and asked "Yeah, where is he?"

Miroku looked at Inu and he sighed. "He left… after graduation, he got into Sapporo Gakuin University, in Hokkaidō.

I looked over at Sango we were both shocked. "Why…?" I asked.

He ran his hand through his hair, he was uneasy about how to answer. Miroku sighed and said "After you three left, we all well…-"

InuYasha had let go of me and walk a bit away from us when he interrupted Miroku, "He was pissed. He was shouting and screaming at me. Telling me it was all my fault that you guys were gone. The worst part about it was he was right… if I had just stayed away, maybe your father would have left you alone…" He was sitting on the ground when he finished.

I sighed and looked over at Sango who was laying her head on Miroku's shoulder. I looked back at InuYasha I walked over to him and knelt down in front of him. I leaned forward and hugged him around the neck, and said "I'm glad you didn't leave me alone, but I am sorry for making you and Shippo fight."

He wrapped his arms around me and was about to say something when two heads popped out around Miroku and Sango. The one screamed "InuYasha!" Sota pushed his way pasted and jumped on Inu and I. knocking us over even more onto the ground.

InuYasha smiled, keeping an arm around me and ruffled Sota's hair and said "Have you gotten shorter?"

Sota grabbed InuYasha's hand and said "Hey! No, I am almost as tall as Kagome now." He was proud to say that.

"Almost, not yet" I said standing up brushing off the dirt.

"Kags, can we eat now Kohaku and I are getting hungry?" Sota asked.

"Are you two now?" Sango said with a smile.

They nodded and we went around back to eat. Laughing and talking about the last year of time we lost over a stupid idea. It had turned out my idea had destroyed Shippo and InuYasha's relationship. Shippo won't even answer if it's him anymore, and if Miroku asked about him, he'll change the subject. Then if I didn't feel bad enough, Miroku went and told me within the two or three months Shippo had been doing the same to him. Not answering, not calling him back, he was cutting all ties to him and InuYasha.

After lunch we started to load up the truck and my Kia. Once done everyone but InuYasha were sitting in the cars waiting to go. "Kags, you ready?" he asked.

I sat, our two keys to the house down on the counter and said "In one second." I grabbed a pen and a pad of paper and wrote a note to Bankotsu.

I couldn't leave without saying

I sat the keys on top of the note and walked out with InuYasha. I took one last look at the house and got into InuYasha's truck. Sango, Miroku and the boys would be driving my car home from Kyoto.

IPOV

The next day when we made it back home I pulled up to Kagome's old apartment, Miroku was right behind me. I looked over at Kag's, she was still asleep it was a long night. I leaned over and kissed her forehead, whispering "We're home."

Her eyes slowly blinked open and she looked around. "Morning," she said. "When did those apartments get build?"

I laughed a bit, "About a year after you vanished. They are owned by Sesshomaru."

She looked over at me surprised, saying "Your brother?" I nodded seeing the rest of our gang getting out of Kag's car.

I sighed and said "Yeah, he also married Rin. After she graduated. They have four kids already." I chuckled before continuing "She about to have four more." I opened my door and got out. Why am I upset about Sesshomaru and Rin relationship, at Kagome? I shook my head and walked towards Miroku and the rest of the gang after I closed my truck door.

Kags followed close behind. Sango spoke "Well, were home now what?"

Kagome was looking around, it was like she forgotten everything about this place. "Kags? You alright?" I asked her.

She looked at me saying "Yeah, just something different."

"It's been a few years of changes" Miroku said.

"No, that's not it." She sighed, "It doesn't feel like home, our home…"

KPOV

Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy. But it didn't feel like home. Our home. But who was 'our'? Sango, Kohaku, Sota and me? Or was I talking out InuYasha, Sota, and Me? I didn't think about it before I said it.

"Kagome? Who's our?" Inu asked me.

This was it who was I talking about. I have no idea… wait yes I do! I just got Inu back and I am not going to lose him again. I turned and looked at InuYasha, saying "You, me and Sota. It doesn't feel like our home here. Since everything that happened here with my father and whatnot."

He stood there just looking and then smiled. "We can go and talk to Sesshomaru then." It was settled then, that afternoon we would stop by his brother's office. For now we walked to a neighborhood café.

Around one we walked into Sesshomaru's office. Four two year olds boys were playing around in a small open space. They saw us and screamed "Uncle InuYasha!" they all came and jumped on him knocking him to the floor.

It caused a loud banging, a back office door opened and out walked Rin and Sesshomaru. Rin saw me and Sango, and walked as quickly as she could over to us crying "Sango, Kags! Your back."

Sesshomaru looked down at his four pups said "Get off your uncle, and go play"

They did what they were told, but before running off to play they said "Yes, father."

I looked at Rin's pregnant belly as did Sango. She noticed "Go ahead, they are moving like crazy today." We both sat a hand on her belly to feel the pups inside her moving. "Isn't amazing Kagome?"

I only nodded. Sango spoke "When are you due?"

Rin walked over to the couch in the office figuring, Sesshomaru, didn't want her far, before she said "Next month."

Sesshomaru spoke before anyone else could "What do you need InuYasha, from this Sesshomaru?"

InuYasha looked over at him and smiled saying "Two apartments."

He gave a slight nod and motioned for us to come in his office. Kohaku and Sota stayed out and played with the pups. With Rin watching nearby.

Miroku and InuYasha gave Sango and I the two chairs a cross the desk from Sesshomaru. They stood behind us. He typed away on his computer glaring at the screen, for the longest time. When he finally spoke it was harsh "All I have is two town houses next to each other, you wanted to be next door to each other right?" To the end his voice softened, as if understood us.

"Yeah, we do and those will work. Where are they?" InuYasha asked.

"Next door" he said, pointing out the window of his office to a group of town houses. "They are next to the apartments, this Sesshomaru build a cross from your old one Kagome."

"Easy move for us," Miroku joked.

Sesshomaru looked up at InuYasha, and I did; he was looking down at me. I smiled up at him, he leaned down and kissed my forehead. "Well Kagome, Sango; I didn't know you two all that well in high school, but Rin did. She was sad to see you go as was my little half-brother here-"

InuYasha interrupted him "Hey!"

Sesshomaru just kept on going "But I want to give you this gift from Rin, the pups and this Sesshomaru." I looked at him funny as he sat two sets of keys on the table. "Welcome home."

Sango and I each picked a set up the set I had read '202 A' I looked at her set and they read '202 B,' "You are giving us are houses?"

He nodded, "It's the least I could do."

We all thanked him InuYasha gave him a side hug, but you could tell he thought something was wrong with deal.

A few weeks later everything was moved in and we were all getting settled into our new homes. Sango and I thought that we picked are house the day we picked up the keys. But we found it great there wasn't anything to fight about. They were exactly the same size. Three bedroom two and half baths, and with a good size back yard. We got Sesshomaru to let us take the fence between us down to make one huge backyard for the boys.

"Sota! Go see if Sango wants to join us for dinner, please?" I called out to him and Kohaku from the kitchen.

He nodded and they raced into Sango and Miroku's house, leaving the soccer ball in the middle of the yard.

I was standing at the sink washing veggie off for some type of dinner I wasn't sure yet maybe Sango would have something in mind.

"Knock, knock" Sango said from the back door with a basket under her arm. "The boys said something about doing dinner here tonight?"

I smiled looking out at the boys. "Yeah, the guys should be home in a little while."

We chose to take the easy way out and go with a simple stir-fry Bankotsu had taught us. We stood around laughing about good times as Miroku and the boys came in though the back and InuYasha walked down the hall.

I walked right over to InuYasha as Sango walked over to Miroku. "What were you girl laughing about?" Miroku asked.

Sango smiled and said "The first time we made tonight's dinner it was a disaster."

I continued the story since she couldn't "Bankotsu, a friend of ours from elementary school; he was so up set till we all slipped on the mess on the floor." I glanced up at InuYasha and he looked upset almost. "InuYasha?"

He let go of me and headed for the stairs, "I'm going to clean up, before we eat." He was gone before I could say anything. I looked at Sango and Miroku, but they looked away.
