Peter was all apologies when he caught up with Wendy. "I'm sorry, please don't go yet. I'm sorry."

"I can't, Peter. My life is in England. There are so many things I want to do, adventures I want to have."

"But I'll miss you. Please don't go."

"Come with me. Come to England. Come see the boys, meet Mother and Father."

"No. I won't. I can't."

"As you wish. However," Wendy said, drawing close to Peter, "I'd do anything to change your mind." She laid her head on his shoulder, and he put his arms around her in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, but I'll never change my mind."

Wendy looked up at him with a sad smile. "Never say never."

Peter felt the air around them change. He felt like it was charged and electric. As he looked into Wendy's eyes he felt that fluttering sensation in his stomach. His head seemed to lower of its own accord, and he saw Wendy's eyes widen and then fasten on his lips. There was suddenly nothing more important in the world than the thimble he was about to give Wendy.

The moment his lips touched hers he knew that he had been right about the charged atmosphere. Sparks ignited behind his eyes and his lips. He felt tingles all over his body and forgot to breathe. Wendy broke the kiss and looked up at him shyly, biting her bottom lip. Peter lifted his hand and tipped her chin, bringing his lips down to hers once more. Fireworks again. Peter felt like he could do anything in this moment. He could win a thousand wars, fly to the moon, conquer the world, even…grow up.

Okay...disclaimer. There are three different ways I have thought to end this story. This chapter is one of the three. You can stop reading here and let your imagination take you to their future.

I am also doing this for your sake as a reader. I HATE when stories are unfinished and aren't frequently updated (I'm not very patient). I am incredibly busy, and therefore don't know when I'll update next. I don't want to leave anybody hanging.

I will, however, continue writing the other two endings. One I will continue here, the third I will publish as a new document when I have it finished. I will not publish that one until it is complete because I do not want the wrath of fans upon me.
