Chapter 10: It Hurts
England looked through the book called 'Diary by Nations: Volume Three' that many countries in the past have made. Everything in it was recorded by nations and for nations. Volume Three had recordings by the nations who were once part of North America. He hoped that maybe there was something inside that could help the recent North American nations. As he flipped through the pages and got the middle, it was blank. He flipped to the rest of the pages and they were blank too. When he got to the last page, he finally found some writing.
Due to Outside Countries taking our land, we few nations
decided not to put any information if it means endangering our future descendants.
So $#&? %$# :3
"WHAT KIND OF PRANK IS THIS?!" England yelled out. "DIDN'T THEY NOT THINK THAT INFORMATION FROM THE ANCESTORS MAY HELP SAVE FUTURE DESCENDANTS?!" England then noticed on the bottom page.
By the way, if our descendants are in trouble and in need of our service,
each of them own their very own diaries with each of our writing in it. So that may help.
"Great! So now I have to ask a certain North American Nation for the book!" said England sounding annoyed. "But who to ask. America may not even be carrying his and I doubt Canada would even give it to me. He would be suspicious and know I'm trying to help America. That only leaves, Mexico."
The next day, morning came.
Mexico woke up wrapped in the arms of Canada.
She remembered that the day before, Canada decided to sleep in a hotel together. Good thing it was Saturday so there isn't any worries of missing classes. She broke out of Canada's hold and got out of bed. She picked up a few of her clothes and decided to take a warm shower.
Canada woke up from the sound of water running. As he stood up and looked around, he guessed it was Mexico. He got out of bed and reached for his clothes that were on the ground. He put on his white long sleeve collar shirt and button them up. Next he put on his blue jeans on. He reached for his glasses that were on the small table and placed them. "Might as well call room service for breakfast," he said to himself. He used the phone and ordered two plates of pancakes and two cups of coffee. Canada then sat onto the bed. He began to remember why he came here in the first place.
Flashback
"Mexico, what kind of relationship did you and America had in the past?" Canada asked her. The two were in the library looking through books in the second floor of the library. Mexico looked at him a bit surprised. Since they've been together, he's never asked her before of things America and she did in their past relationship. She was surprised but she should have expected this. Canada had been trying so hard to become a sweet loving boyfriend and she is thankful for that.
"Well, it was a kind of relationship where he and I..." Mexico didn't really want to say. It was embarrassing to now remember the things she and America did when they were younger. He her face began to turn red. Canada noticed this and knew he didn't have to know the details.
"You know, it's Friday and we don't have classes tomorrow, so why don't we sleep in a hotel tonight?"
Mexico's face turn even more bright red. "O-Okay!"
"I'll call right now if the nearest has a room for us tonight."
End of Flashback
The two didn't go far. After a few minutes, Canada realized in Mexico's eyes that she just wasn't in the mood. Before she slept last night, he left his own special love bite on her neck.
Suddenly, Mexico's cellphone began to ring. He found it her phone in the floor on the other side of the bed. He picked it up and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Mexico! Where are you?! I really need you right now!" said England.
"Sorry but Mexico is busy right now!" said Canada.
"Canada, is that you?" Where on earth is Mexico?!"
"In the shower of a hotel room."
"Why would she be in a hotel room?!...Wait, don't answer that. You two slept the night of a hotel room, right?"
"Yes!"
"It was bound to happen. It can't be helped, if only I made lots of time to raise you, you wouldn't have inherited some of France's traits! That stupid Frog was nothing but bad influence!"
"England...?"
"Anyways, you better have better worn protection and treated her with care! Tell Mexico I called her! I really need to speak with her!"
"Sure will!"
"Thanks! Bye for now!" Click!
Canada wondered a bit what England could have needed Mexico for. Whatever it was, he hoped it wasn't any trouble for Mexico.
Few minutes later, their tray of breakfast came. After, Mexico had came out of the restroom. She glared at Canada as the two ate. When the two finished breakfast, Canada had to finally ask her.
"What's with the glare?"
"You left me a mark on my neck."
"Oh! You found my special mark!" Canada said happily.
"Yeah and it's shaped like a maple leaf!"
"That's what makes it special!"
Mexico just sighed and smiled. "So, who was on the phone earlier?"
"Right! It was England! He called to ask he needed you!"
"I see. I guess I'll call him back once we get back to the school."
As soon as the two finished, they checked out of the hotel and walked through the park.
"Sorry to get personal with you Mexico, but was America your first?"
"My first? Uh...no he wasn't."
This surprised Canada. He expected her to say yes.
"If he wasn't your first then who was?"
"Hm? Well, it's kind of embarrassing and it was only that one time...I think."
"With who?"
Mexico just began to start humming.
Canada began to guess. "Was it Spain?"
"Gross! No way! Spain was like a real brother figure, he'd never do that to his colonies!"
"Then, was it Southern Italy?"
"Nah! We got along well together but we never made it through the night together."
"Then, could it have been Germany?"
"I do confess we did see each other but never went too far."
"Well I'm out of guesses unless it was one of the Central or South America nations."
"No way! We were raised like siblings together and we stopped seeing each other after our independence. Though we do hold a Latin America meetings time from time but never really made it as such far as a date with any of them."
"Then who could it have been?"
"I'll give you hint. I was the second to be hurt by America then as years past after losing so much. I finally met the first man to be hurt by America."
Canada began to think back to history. The first nation to ever had their feelings hurt by America could only be...England!
"You don't mean England by any chance, do you?"
"Sorry but yeah! England was my first. He and I kept this secret for a long time."
"But when and why did it happen?"
"England was bitter at the fact of America's independence so when England learned that I finally broke my ties with him, he came to see me. We talked and drank and after a few days of him staying at my place, we just did it."
"I-I wouldn't have imagined it to be England. Actually, I don't mind. I would have hate it if it was America."
"Yeah. You this is just a secret between me and him so I like you to participate in keeping this secret as well."
"Of course! My lips are sealed!...Though, now I feel completely jealous. I'm never going to be your first in anything!"
"But your the first to never have hurt me! You always stayed so nice to me for a long time that we've been friends. Even now you've become a very nice boyfriend. Any women would be lucky to have you!"
"But you still haven't fallen deeply in love with me."
"I know and I'm very sorry about that. You can blame America for that!"
"I'm always blaming him!"
Mexico just smiled.
"You know, you and England don't act like you both did something together."
"I know. Let's just say we were both surprised after it happened. After that we never met again. He did call a few times after that but that was it."
"I don't know if I can really get this information in my head. It's unbelievable."
"Yeah?"
"yeah!"
After that, the two found England waiting for them in front of the school gates.
"There you guys are! I've been waiting for both of your return for a while now!" England yelled.
"Sorry, England. The place wasn't exactly around across the street." Canada apologized.
England then noticed the mark on her neck. He grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her to the school building. Inside the went into the infirmary room. There, England used some cover up to hide the mark.
"Do you really have to do that?" whined Canada.
"Yes! It's irresponsible to let a female nation walk with such thing on school grounds."
"Really? I thought you were just feeling a bit jealous of a marking on Mexico."
"Why would I be?" As he looked in Canada's eyes, he noticed a look in his eyes. He then glanced at Mexico.
"He knows," she tells him.
England blushed and laughs nervously. "You will keep this a secret from the world, will you Canada?"
"Of course. It's not something nations can easily share. I'm not like France who will go bragging about love and how nice is to be with someone."
"Right! To change the subject. Mexico, can I borrow a book from you?"
"Sure! Which one?"
"The diary of your ancestor."
"You're worried about America aren't you?"
"Well yes!"
"No surprise there. Sure I'll lent it to you but you can only read it when I'm around. When you're not reading it, I want it back."
"Of course. I know how important these diaries are!"
Hope you guys liked it! Till the next chapter.
