Here it is, the next chapter. Please enjoy.

I own nothing.

Sorry, suffering from a massive case of writers block on all my stories that aren't WolfStar. I am planning on updating the rest, but want to write them when I have more inspiration. I WILL be continuing the rest of my stories, I promise.

I also seem really good at coming up with new ideas for stories, but I'm resisting starting any more. I want to get on with the ones I have first.

The next few days passed without incident, Remus waking up to Hermione cuddled into his chest, and part of him wondered how much he'd miss her warmth when the creature was caught. He reminded himself that as long as Hermione was safe, that's all that mattered. He couldn't keep her in his bed always, as much as he would like to.

She always lay up against him, holding him tightly, and he would never wake her from that position, he would lay there until she stirred, before moving away, hoping she didn't wake up and look at him in fear that he was the creature again.

Sirius came to the castle the night before the full moon, and settled into Hermione's room. He brought some of his belongings, as he could tell that the situation was getting more and more serious now, and felt it best that Hermione had two guards, just in case. He had no intention of leaving the castle after the full moon, not until the creature was gone.

That night, Remus and Sirius sat in Hermione's room, watching into his room, as they caught up with what had been going on, and Remus showed him the book that contained details of the potion that Snape had been brewing.

"Honestly Remus, I see how you look at her, I've noticed it for months. You can't tell me that you aren't enjoying this -"

"I certainly am not, some creature that looked like me attacked her, Sirius."

"I meant enjoying having her in your bed," Sirius corrected.

Remus sighed. "How is that relevant to anything," he said.

"It's not, but I know you've developed feelings for our little Miss Granger, and the fact that the creature could have it's pick from anyone in her head, and chose you."

"Can we not do this again," Remus muttered, standing up and narrowing his eyes.

"We won't do it tonight, but we will be having this conversation soon," Sirius said.

"There's nothing to say, Hermione is young, she's beautiful and has a promising life and career ahead of her. Where does an old Werewolf fit into this? I'm lucky to count myself as one of her close friends, but there is nothing more. She would never want me for more," he snapped.

"How do you know?" Sirius asked, and Remus growled.

"I'm just a Professor, I'm nothing. Her first boyfriend was a Professional Quidditch Player, then Ron, who's shaping up to be a brilliant Auror. The other dates she's had, they've all had money to spoil her. I know money means nothing to her, but it goes to show that Hermione is desired by a lot of better men then me, and she could have her pick, and I most certainly can't compete with them," he answered.

"I think that's Hermione's choice," Sirius shouted.

"What? What's my choice?" Came a tired voice from the doorway, where Hermione stood in her nightie.

The men looked at her.

"We're just discussing what to do about the... thing," Sirius began.

"Incubus," Remus said.

"Yeah, the Incubus," Sirius added.

Hermione looked doubtful. She hovered in the doorway, her eyes not moving to the bed.

""Look love, lets talk about it all after the full moon," Remus suggested. "Lets go to bed?"

Hermione shook her head. "No, you're in the middle of talking to Sirius, I'm happy to go alone," she said, but both men could see that Hermione was uncertain about going alone.

"I was just about to come anyway," he said, and allowed Hermione to take his hand and lead him from the room, wishing Sirius goodnight on the way out.

Sirius shot him a smug look, his eyes flicking to their joined hands. Remus ignored him as they climbed into the bed, Hermione snuggling into his chest, and his arms wrapping around her, and his lips brushing her forehead.

"Goodnight," he whispered.

"Goodnight, Remus," she whispered back.

...oOo...

The next evening, Remus headed into Hermione's room, as the time for his transformation came. Hermione set a silencing charm, allowing Remus his dignity, knowing he hated them hearing his shouts as he transformed, and a few minutes later, a Wolf appeared, pacing her room.

Hermione ran her hand through Moony's fur, before heading to bed, Padfoot laying on the bed next to her, and Moony growling at Padfoot until he shifted away from Hermione a bit.

It wasn't until the early hours of the morning, did Sirius wake up, to see a slightly blood soaked Remus stumble into the room, wincing in pain. He stirred from the bed, causing Hermione to wake up.

She jumped from the bed, rushing to him in concern.

As she reached him, he leaned down, and she let out a shocked gasp, as a pair of lips hit hers. Immediately her hands moved up, around his neck, and he pushed her towards the bed. The creature let out a shout of pain, as he felt two animals hit him. One wolf clamping down on his throat, and the dog sinking it's teeth into the creatures side.

The creature disappeared, and Hermione looked dazed for a moment. Sirius turned back into himself, and helped Hermione up.

"Where did Remus go?" She asked.

"That wasn't Remus," Sirius said softly.

"But it was, he felt warm, he smelt like Remus," she said.

Sirius leaned down to look into her eyes. He clicked his fingers, but there was no response. He took her by the shoulders and shook her, but she didn't react.

"Where's Remus?" She asked again, trying to look around him, as though he was hiding Remus from her. She ignored the Wolf standing in the room.

Sirius' gaze met Moony's, who whined.

"Rennervate," Sirius said, pointing his wand at Hermione. It woke up people who were asleep, or unconscious, so maybe it worked on those in trances too. She blinked a few times, looking around in confusion. Her gaze fell on a concerned looking Sirius, and Moony, and her fingers touched her lips.

"That wasn't Remus?" She asked, and Sirius shook his head.

"It's a few more hours till light, love. Lets sleep. I'm going to stay like this, it seems the creature only sensed animals in here with you, that's why it chose tonight. It clearly knew that Remus was a Werwolf and would transform tonight, that's why it looked like that, like Remus was hurt. You immediately let your guard down, more concerned about Remus' health, and it made it's move."

He climbed onto the bed, Hermione lay down next to him, and Moony settled awkwardly on the armchair in the room.

None of them went back asleep.

...oOo...

The next day, Sirius walked around with Hermione, and he glimpsed Remus three times, just quick glimpses. After checking in the mirror each time, Remus was still in their rooms. The creature was getting bolder now.

Sirius didn't even let Hermione out of his sight to go to the toilet, instead he sent Luna in with her. Hermione had argued at first, but Sirius explained to her the random sightings of the Incubus throughout the castle. She stopped arguing, went pale and allowed herself to be escorted to the loo by her friend.

That evening, Hermione went to take a shower, the door was open, and Remus heard a gasp come from her lips. It had been another close call as he ran in to find her in the arms of the creature. The Incubus was becoming more desperate, taking any opportunity it could to get her alone, and Hermione didn't seem able to resist it anymore. It took another Rennervate to wake her from the trance, and he quickly pulled off his shoes and socks, stepping into the shallow water at the bottom of the shower, so he could wrap her in a large towel, before wrapping his arms around her shaking body.

"A week until the potion is ready," he told her.

The torture begun the next night, when Remus was woken up by a loud moan coming from the girl next to him. He immediately thought the creature had returned, and jumped up, wand raised, but Hermione was alone. He stilled, judging the temperature of the room, but it was the same as when he went to bed, there was no chill in the air, like when the Incubus has turned up before. The creature hadn't been there that night.

To be sure, he still looked around the room. Satisfied that the creature hadn't been there, Remus got back onto the bed, and closed his eyes, just to hear another breathy moan come from Hermione's lips.

He quickly got off the bed, and stood staring at her, hoping she wouldn't make a noise again. It felt wrong laying next to her as she made such delicious sounds.

Her chest was heaving, and she let out the most erotic moan Remus had ever heard in his life, and Remus sank into the chair across the room, knowing that he had to stay to ensure Hermione's safety. He tried to keep his eyes diverted, but they kept falling on the girl.

He had to keep his eyes on her, because the creature could come in when he was looking the other way.

Hermione's movements started off slow, she clutched at Remus' pillow. Not her own - Remus'.

Remus was quite focused on the way she buried her head in his pillow, breathing into it, and letting out little pants, her hands started to move from the covers that they had been clutching, and before he knew it, her top was being slid up. Remus tried to take his eyes off her, to give her some privacy. It was awful enough that he had to listen. It was wrong of him to have an erection over listening when he shouldn't be.

He got up from the chair, summoning the firewhisky and the books on Incubus', and a glass, before shutting the door, to at least give her some privacy from Sirius. He filled the glass, and drank it all down in one go, before opening a book and trying to focus.

He skimmed the pages, looking for something about dreams, and ignored as Hermione's hands moved to her breasts, under her t-shirt. He tried to block out the sounds she was making, but it was impossible. As the seconds went by, he got more and more turned on.

But there was nothing he could do. He couldn't leave the room, or take a cold shower, and he most certainly wasn't going to masturbate, no matter how badly he needed to.

He jumped up as the door opened, expecting it to be the creature. His wand pointed at the door, but it was Sirius that walked in. He kept the wand up, to be on the safe side, uncertain that it was Sirius, but when he caught the expression on Sirius' face when the pure-blood spotted the writhing witch on the bed, he lowered his wand. Sirius looked utterly bewildered.

"Remus, is everything alright, the door was closed and I thought..." he stopped as he realised what Hermione was doing. "Oh dear, Merlin."

"Sirius," Remus growled. "I think you need to get out."

Sirius didn't hear him for a moment, as Hermione's hand moved inside her shorts. He let out a whine, before he ran from the room, pulling the door shut behind him.

Remus wasn't as lucky. He took to his chair again, and was awake long after Hermione had brought herself to orgasm. In fact, he didn't sleep at all. He couldn't return to the bed, the smell was too enticing from the other side of the room, it would be worse from next to her. He didn't think he was strong enough to lay next to her, and not touch himself.

...oOo...

The next morning Hermione woke up, and realised quickly what had happened, due to the state of her shorts. Her face red, she looked over at the chair that held her sleep deprived former Professor, who was reading, his face also red, and not able to look at her.

She got out of the bed, and quickly went for to the shower, stopping at the door as she remembered the previous night. Sensing her hesitation, Remus walked over.

"I'll stay in there with you, I'll keep my back turned."

Hermione nodded.

"About last night," she began, awkwardly.

"It's alright, I researched. It's the creature causing them," Remus interrupted, not wanting to be reminded of the sounds that had kept him awake all night.

"How?" Hermione asked.

Remus swallowed. "As you've noticed, at first it was turning up after you had an adult dream, the Incubus causes them to send you into a state of arousal, so you would be less likely to turn it down. I think the incubus is getting desperate, and is trying to put you into this state because it's hoping to find you alone at some point, and is aware that it won't find you alone for long, so to have you worked up is the only way it has a chance. I would like you to stick with someone, even to go to the bathroom. Just don't be alone at all. Check the person's temperature before you go off with them alone to be on the safe side."

Hermione nodded, and Remus followed her into the bathroom.

"Were you the only one to see?" She asked, quietly.

"Sirius... I closed the door, but he woke up and saw the door closed and panicked and rushed in. He realised what was happening, and ran out again."

Hermione let out an embarrassed groan, her head falling into her hands.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about," Remus tried, but Hermione shook her head.

"Can we just pretend that it didn't happen?" She asked. Remus tapped the clear screen, making it blurred before turning his back and allowing Hermione to strip.

He tried to work out why he was being punished in this cruel way, as the shower turned on and he tried to keep his thoughts away from the fact that Hermione was naked and wet, washing away the evidence of her excitement from a few hours before.

Definitely torture.

When Hermione was finished showering, and dry, she left the rooms with Sirius, and headed to breakfast. Remus decided to skip breakfast. It took him moments for his first release on the shower walls, before he stroked his still hard cock, and finally allowed the thoughts of Hermione with her fingers in her pyjama bottoms, and other hand stroking her breast to replay in his mind. He let all the memories of the night before flood his mind, and he could still hear the noises that passed her lips. Almost an hour later he emerged from his rooms, and ignored the amused looks that Sirius shot him for the rest of the day.

Next chapter:

"The potion is ready," Remus told Hermione. "But I've been reading up, and there may be a problem."

There is a massive lack of information about Incubuses (most of it is how to summon one, followed by strict instructions not to do so). So I've made up quite a bit.

Sorry again about the wait for the chapter.

Review please. I have ideas for the next chapter, so hopefully the wait won't be as long.
