Leo couldn't believe. He didn't know what to feel. He just did. Angry? Sad? Scared maybe?

It had been a relief. But he had no idea what to do. Hug them, or punch them. The most he could focus on doing, was not crying.

"Leo."

It had been a whisper. Warm and welcoming. Just like the arms that tightly embraced him.

"Chase? Bree?" Leo choked out. Bree gave a smile and ran over to join the hug. She gave a quick embrace, only to be stuck by Adam's overly muscular arms in a group hug.

"Yes! Oh we are so going to party hard tonight!" Adam laughed. He let go and Bree followed. Chase however seemed to tighten his grip on Leo.

"Little man, you better not have had fun without me."

"Missed you too Spike."

"Wow, how mushy can you get?" Adam joked. Spike let go only to get punched in the face by Leo.

"Oh my god! Leo!" Bree called out.

"That's what you get for leaving me and not calling. Do you know how worried I was? You dumbass!"

"Leo-"

"It's bad enough my dad pulls this crap. Not you too," Leo growled. Spike rubbed his jaw where the blow hit and chuckled.

"I hear you little bro. Feels like you actually grew some muscle."

"Don't turn this conversation around," Leo snapped pointing his finger at Spike's face. His face contorted slightly, changing to Chase's more concerned look.

"Leo, Bree and I, we did this to protect you and Adam-"

"We- don't- need- that-level- of-protection," Leo angrily punched Chase between words.

"Leo!"

"You know he's right you know," Adam agreed. Bree stared at the muscle bound bionic.

"Adam?"

"We were worried," Adam said nonchalantly as Chase did his best to subdue the emotional step brother.

"We can handle ourselves," Bree said defensively crossing her arms over her chest. Leo used this time to smack Chase.

"Not saying you can't. But we are a family. Aren't we?" Adam asked as Chase pulled Leo into a headlock.

"Adam... Of course we are-"

"Dog pile!" A knew voice interrupted. Adam and Bree turned in time to see Marcus jump on Leo and Chase, getting a moan from the two as Marcus seperated them. Adam laughed at the chaos as Bree let a smirk come to her face.

"We're just crazier than most," she said softly watching as the boys acted, for once, as just normal boys.

So I found an adorable comic that I really like called My Giant Nerd Boyfriend.

And as much as I rib on my sister and her fiancé, it looks like a really cute version of my short sister and her freakishly tall fiancé.

That has nothing to do with this story. But this I had to share.

Anyway... I was not expecting to write this enstallment. But I did. And here it is.
