"Wha....W..what?" Emmett's face mirrored my own as we stared at the small smiling miracle that is Bella.

"Am i not allowed to call you that?" Her small shy voice was one out of insecurity

"Are you kidding, of course you can call me that." Emmett's face was stretched out in a massive smile.

My heart yearned for her to call me mom, but i wasn't going to ruin this moment for them both. I smiled through my pain at them trying desperately to not allow tears to flow through my sad eyes

"REALY!" Bella ran to emmett then tackled him to the ground.

"CAN I? CAN I REALLY?" Her voice bubbled up with excitement cause med to forget my pain even for just a short time.

"HELLS YEAH!" Emmett sounded like a kid on christmas as he stared at his new found daughter.

This is when i realise i shouldn't interrupt this important moment, I slowly and quietly started to back out. Bella's small head suddenly turned to watch me walk.

She must have realised what i wanted to do as she jumped up from emmett and latched on to my right leg.

"Can I call you Mummy?" Her voice was back to her adorable shy one as she swayed on her heels and toe going back and forth whilst chewing her small lip.

My tears welled up in my eyes before slowly running down my face. Bella's eyes widened in surprise.

"I'm sorry, I won't call you that if you stop crying."

"No! No its not that" I sniffed before continuing "I would love for you to call me that" I wiped all traces of tears in my eyes. Bella held up her small fragile arms signalling she wanted up. Crouching I picked her up then settled her on my left hip. SHe wrapped her small arms around my neck then buried her head near them.

"Please don't cry, I don't like it when i see people cry" Bella pulled her head up to give me the cutest pout known to man kind, literally it was 10x more cute then alice's so called irresistible pout. Her eyes shone with tears as her lips came out in a small doggy pout and to make it worst she turned her head slightly to the right giving her the lost puppy look. This sold me out

Nodding I declared "I promised ill never cry for you"

Bella smiled then "Thank you"

"Come on its time for bed" Alice said gently causing Bella, Emmett and I to jump 10 feet into the air. We had completely forgotten about the pixie

I nod "I tuck her in" I vowed then raced up to Em's and I's room. Placing Bella down i kissed her forehead then gave her a small smile then stood up.

"Mummy" Her tired voice stopped me in my tracks, Ill never get used to this, I thought as pride and happiness filled my thoughts and heart at the small but powerful word.

"Yes, love?"

"I love you"

I held back my tears determined to keep my promise.

"I...I...lo...love you too baby girl, go to sleep now we are going to play with your new toys tomorrow"

"Okay" And with that I gracefully left the room then skipped literally skip down the stairs to emmett.
