Dear Diary...

It's Finally Christmas!

When I opened my eyes, Ryder was fast asleep.

Then it his me...its Christmas morning!

"Ryder.." I whispered "Ryder...RYDER!"

He quickly opens his eyes. "Yeah?"

"Its morning."

He rubbed his eyes, and sat up. "Really?"

"Yeah." I laughed, running my fingers through his hair.

"Whats that smell?" He asked, "Is someone cooking?"

He was right, someone was cooking. "Oh, My mom." I replied, "She always makes breakfast on Christmas morning."

"Oh, cool." he smiled.

"I'm going to go change, I will be right back." I said, walking to the bathroom.

After I changed, we walked to the kitchen where my mom and dad were making breakfast.

"Hey mom."

Hey, sweetie," she smiled, "How did you two sleep last night?"

I glanced over to Ryder, who was smiling.

"Okay." I replied.

She nodded. "Well, breakfast is ready, so eat up." she said, pointing to two plates on the counter. "Oh, and Marley called. She said her and...Jake were on their way."

"Oh, thanks mom." I said, as Ryder and I sat on the couch.

"Jake and Marley are coming?" Ryder asked.

"Yeah, I invited Marley and Jake follows her around like a lost puppy."

"Oh." He laughed.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" I yelled, running to the door. "Hey!"

"Hey!" Marley said, as she and Jake walked inside. "is he coming?"

"I actually haven't asked him yet."

"Well, you should go ask him, because we're meeting Sam and Quinn in 5 minutes."

I Groaned, running back to the living room.

"Kitty, no offense, but your mom is an awful cook." Ryder said.

"Oh, don't worry about that, she wont be offended if you don't eat it.." I said, "I have to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"My parents and me always go to this Christmas church service, and..."

"Sure."

"Jake and Marley and Sam and Quinn are...wait what?"

"I'll go."

"Really?"

"Yeah." he smiled.

"okay." I laughed, "Well, Marley said we're leaving in a couple minutes."

Ryder picked up the plastic plates, and quickly threw them in the trash.

"Mom!" I yelled. "We're leaving early to meet Quinn and Sam there."

"Alright." mom said, walking into the Kitchen.

Ryder grabbed my hand. "Breakfast was great, Mrs. Wilde..thanks."

My mom smiled, I tried not to laugh at his obvious lie. We walked outside with Jake and Marley and got in the car.

We got to the church and immediately spotted Sam and Quinn by the doors.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Merry Christmas." Sam said, with a goofy grin.

"Are your parents coming?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah, they'll be here in a couple minutes." I replied as we walked inside, sitting in the back row.

"What are you guys doing for Christmas?" Sam asked.

"Me and my mom already did the whole 'Christmas' thing yesterday." Marley replied.

"What about you?" Quinn asked Jake, "You're Jewish right? You don't celebrate Christmas."

"Half." Jake replied.

"we're going to Kittys for the day." Marley laughed.

"What about you two?" Ryder asked.

"I'm spending the day with Quinns family." Sam smiled.

Shocker.

Someone came in and sat next to us. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see Finn and Rachel.

"Hey." Quinn said.

"i didn't know you two were coming." Ryder said.

"Yeah, neither did we." Finn said. "Quinn called me at 6 this morning and told us to come."

it wasn't long before my parents got there and the choir started singing a bunch of really crappy Christmas carols. After that, the pastor started preaching the same sermon he's done every year since..as long as I can remember. I swear if felt like an eternity before he finally dismissed everybody.

Back at the house, mom busied herself making dinner, while Ryder, Jake, Marley and I sat on the couch watching TV.

"Hey kitty?"

I looked over at Ryder. "Yeah?"

"I got you something." he smiled, handing me a small box.

I laughed, "You didn't have to get me anything."

he shrugged.

I opened the box, inside was a necklace with a heart charm on it, and 'K+R' engraved into it.

I smiled, and gave him a kiss. "Thank you."

He helped me put it on. I looked over at Jake and Marley . Jake had given her the same necklace with 'M+J' engraved on it.

After a couple minutes, the house was crowded by a bunch of people, Family, and a bunch of mom and dads friends.

Ryder grabbed my hand and led me outside.

"Is that what its like every Christmas?" he asked.

"Yeah." I nod, "what about at your house?"

We walked around the yard. "Um, not really." he shook his head, "it's usually quiet at my house."

"Lucky."

He shrugged, "I always kinda wanted a big family."

"Really?"

"yeah..."

We both stopped talking for a moment. It was almost awkward until Ryder broke the silence.

"you know, kitty..i was really kind of angry about having to switch schools again...but when I met you..at first I thought you were mean," he laughed. "Bu...the more time I got to spend with you..i more I realized I really liked you...and I started to..love you." he smiles.

"I love you, too." I said, "and I don't think i've ever loved anyone as much as I love you."

its true..up until Ryder, I had never even told a guy I love them before. He leaned towards me, I stood on my tiptoes, meeting his lips.

And thats when I felt it..

I looked up and something wet hit my face.

Snow.

It was snowing on Christmas.

We laughed.

"your wish." Ryder said.

"Yeah."

its never snowed here on Christmas, it was amazing.

"this has been the best Christmas ever.."

"what makes it any different than the rest?" he asked.

"because this year...i have you."

He smiled. "Merry Christmas, Kitty Wilde."

"Merry Christmas, Ryder Lynn."

o.O.o

So, I guess Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year...and I couldn't imagine spending it with anyone else.
