Chapter 10

Coming back from his meeting with his evil confederates, Chase quickly discusses the plans of tripling the labor workers into the fields and into the mines because of the new booming results of metals, which were highly needed to expand his weaponry in his armies. Looking down to his arm he sees all of the scrolls that will later need his attentions for approvals and commissions to order the slaves. Swiftly dismisses everyone around him he starts heading back to his room, "We'll continue this tomorrow at noon" As everyone quickly bows to their master they disappeared.

Now walking alone and away to his room Chase securely gatherings up all of the scrolls into his arm tighter, taking a hold on the importance of each one, especially one in particular.

Even though he has taken over the world for ten years now there were still those who still wanted to strike a deal with him for peace, which every now and then they would send their treaties to him. Chase of course, still wanted to be old fashion and just wanted put everyone under the same category as inferior beings below him while he effortlessly enjoys their suffering from his throne. However putting the world into that kind of order too soon would have been just too easy for him and a bore. So in order to enjoy his evil work longer he immediately slowed down his process of taking over the world completely by first operating man's world too.

Soon approaching his doors he stops… to all of a sudden feel movement in his room. It was her, she was up. Not waiting any longer he steps forward to command his doors to open for him and to reveal the lost, slender, and still nearly naked little thing wondering around in his room. He was looking at her with curiosity and distain, for seeing her snooping around as if she had the right to do so in the first place. However, to Chase the important matter was that she up and appeared to be quite active enough to stand another encounter with him, "Ahem" he signals his presents to her.

She turns towards him in a alarm but returns her features to being cold again and replying to him with a 'morning' He didn't much care for her neutral attitude towards him now but simply walks towards his desk. He nonchalantly drops off all of the clutter of scrolls in his arms onto his desk and coolly adjusts his stance to not look at her for the moment. For her attire still hasn't changed since the 'incident' with his general. It was going to be a long time until he could get some sleep again, however he graciously informs her, "I would say the same thing to you Dragon of Fire, but I would suggest you go back into your quarters and cover yourself up before we even continue our meeting about your stay here" Then walking to the fire place he sits down to wait on her, which he thought should be the opposite way around.

As she looked at herself, she now completely loathed herself for being absent minded. For she was still plaguing her dignity with disgrace again, she was still in close to nothing clothing. Almost in an anger yelp she quickly turns away from him to quickly pull her loose robe tighter around her thinking not only was she appearing before him close to naked but she was still wearing a poor accuse of clothing, which didn't really matter anyway because he saw her naked already. She was distasting herself from utter embarrassment. Quickly sliding her way back into her room she stomps towards the wardrobe again and quickly lands her eyes on the first thing she sees. It was a tame lavender robe that was longer and bigger for her, again huffing in self-anger she quickly pulls out the robe from its hanger to roughly fit and cover whatever skin she was showing from before. She absolutely hated the impressions she was giving to that monster as of lately. Why didn't she care to dress herself up when it was clearly available to her at the moment she woke up, yes, she was still in Raimundo's robe and to what was left of her underwear. She could no longer hide herself from blushing anymore.

Quickly spinning around her head she uncontrollably lands her eyes to the mirror again, almost hitting it out of anger in seeing her face really glowing in shame from that monster. She huffed with mortification when she was ready to leave her room in hesitation. She wanted to be completely and in utter control of her ugly emotions she was going to feel in being around that monster again. He already took so much from her…. She feared she wasn't really ready to be in his presents again.

A moment or two she slowly takes a deep breath just before exiting out of her room. She tightly closes her eyes in hopes of centering herself long enough to get through the day with him.

Feeling the cold marble doors under her fingers she firmly swings the door back open to still see him sitting on one of the couches to still be gazing at his beautiful fire. Her walk towards him wasn't too slow or too fast but a steady rhythm that was loud enough to signal him that she was coming back. She was making her way around the couches but found it to be of vital importance to study his face closer for some reason. She quickly took in every mental note of his face that silently glowed by the fire, with the sharpness of his nose, the contours of his cheeks bones and his sharp jawline lining his face perfectly with his hair. All being put into a profile that Kimiko hated so much because it was how she said before with his cats 'It was an illusion of what could have been beautiful to her' As she travels towards him, watching his perfect profile spinning before her, she slows down her feet firmly under her when she was finally near him, now being fully covered. He was still looking at the fire, ignoring her for a while to just enjoy his time with his fire. However being Kimiko she quickly gets impatience with annoyance and tries to sit on one of the other couches.

"Don't sit" Looking at him she frowns, why on earth wasn't she allowed to sit. All she wanted to do right now was nothing but to just throw that bastard into the fire and watch him burn in a slow and painful death as he continued to talk to her, "You may only sit when I tell you to sit" and cut off his head while she was at it.

Contemplating with her words she did her best to speak back to him, "Am I just to stand here like the injured women that I am and just watch you sit there comfortably in front that stupid fire" feeling hot steam rising up from her head she quickly hassles to keep herself calm enough to not do anything stupid.

Smugly smirking he says, "No I except you to learn who's in command here" still looking at the fire he simpered, "And you didn't look to be all that bad in shape, so I wouldn't worry so much about your conditions" She harshly sighs, she knew he took a good look at her from the door and knew that her injuries weren't going to be a serious problem at the moment.

Looking down at the floor she asks, "So what now, if I can't sit here" she did her best to not give out too much attitude towards him.

Finally looking at her, he quickly notes the robe first, approving and seeing that she was distracted by the floor he replies, "Then you sit somewhere else" then getting up from his seat he walks over to the other side of the couches and says, "Come" leading the direction to his desk.

Peeking her eyes away from the floor she looks up towards him again to silently follow him back to his desk. Getting closer he quickly points to her to sit down in chair in front of his desk. She hated the enthusiasm of it. So she quickly likes to think that he was merely suggesting for her to sit now and not give any acknowledgement to what he now commands of her.

Sitting and grabbing her robe closer to her she watches him skillfully organize the messy work of scrolls he poured all over his desk from earlier. However Kimiko saw that he didn't put away one of the finer looking scrolls and just for a split second his was able to caress the object in his hands.

Now sitting Chase solidifies his gazes at Kimiko, to prepare for the convention between them now, but just before he could speak he hears her talk first, "How long have I've been asleep" She was curious to know anyway and it was a reasonable question to ask. However it was mainly to stall and avoid the reason why he brought her to his desk in the first place.

Quickly calculating the time in his head he answers, "You've been sleeping for the past twenty eight hours since I left you in my private studies" he too mainly left out the important information about him carrying her to her room personally, "Which reminds me to tell you that it isn't morning" Turning his gaze to the fireplace he looks at the time that was set on top of the fire, "It is in fact close to midnight" Returning to see her he waits.

Wow, she slept pretty hard and long. The most sleep she's ever got was just seven hours and that was three years ago, "Why allow me to sleep that long?" fidgeting her fingers she hears him reply, "That's what an injured women needs right? Some rest, especially when she is to be working soon" smirking he smiles to reach for the last scroll on his desk.

This made Kimiko twitch, seeing how he let the cylinder object roll in his hands almost in a playful matter that it scared her. Cautiously looking at the scroll she knew it was obviously going to be the next thing they were going to talk about.

Feeling the cylinder scroll in his hands he gently sets it in front of him but to still keep his very large hand over it. Content with his creation of the scroll and to just wait for the magic words from her, "What is that?" Smiling he clicks the scroll to open in front of her and lets the other half of the thick paper to roll into her lap.

She was still very sensitive about her body and filched at the slight pain of impact. Nonetheless she feared to even touch the paper, for it gave her dread to its unknown contents. Trying to not look at him she lightly picks up the paper and begins to reads whatever line catches her eye, "Such orders will be followed by the individual of the enslavement for Cha- WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP!" She quickly shouted out loud to stop herself from finishing the sentence. Then looking directing at him she frowns at him for an explanation.

Not liking her change of attitude he replies, "It's a contract of course" he wasn't the type who liked to explain everything as a villain but he still sternly stares back at her. To again now have a one on one confrontation with those light blue eyes. It was a private battle for him to still look at those rebellious orbs and not get aroused into striking her. He wasn't too sure why he was feeling at a disarray to hurt her and not at the same time.

Glaring at him she unsettled her tone to a darker voice, "Why do you need a contract when I already gave you my word" quickly tossing the other half of the scroll back to him on the table she yells, "What are you going to make me do that needs a stupid contract!"

Looking at her and to the scroll he leisurely straitens up the paper to face her again, "I don't care if you are offended by this, I've learned that in the past that this is the type of 'method' that assures me that you will follow my every command without question…. and it's not that I don't trust your word, it's just now I like to see such deals being recorded so I could, in some cases refer back to them" tapping the paper he kindly says, "This is just to finalize the settlements of our deal, nothing more and nothing less" sympathetically looking at her he waits.

She really hated this creature; he was actually enjoying this cruel torment of her proving herself to be his slave now. Roughly grabbing back the scroll she quickly dashes her eyes back and forth to read whatever she could. And the rules were simple, just play nice and follow the rules that were given by the 'master'. She wanted to stop reading however parts of the contract struck her. One being the most interesting, of her getting degrees that she could earn from him (Persons could achieve a higher ranking of a personal ally or partner) so if she plays nice long enough he would consider her as a possible subordinate for his force, Looking up at him she asks, "Why offer me a possible partnership with you, you know I won't ever do that" looking into his eyes she waits.

Taking a breath he answers, "I like to view myself as a fair man, so you have the choice to 'purposefully' work for me"

Looking back again she reads (Confinement for the person will also be determined by there attributes) So living next door to the monster for now means she was on good grounds with him. Which she still finds it to be odd. Still blazing her eyes from line to line she talks to him in frustration, "Argh, so what the hell am I to you, a stupid maid, a body guard"

Bringing his hands to his face in a chuckle he replies, "My use for you is that you shall remain at my side and do whatever I see fit or for you do more then what is expected of you… This may come to a surprise but I myself don't know what to call you right now, but a mere follower to do as I say" However odd or strange it is Chase couldn't label Kimiko anything for now. She had giving her soul to him, which implied different rules to follow, which were completely different from his cats. They had waged their freedom in fighting him. It was all because she was the last of a threat to him and he just didn't have the motives to just kill her now, but too more on the scale to just perverse her until he could find a proper solution to put her in. Still looking at her reading hastily through the paper he smiles more to himself in amusement in knowing he was being very eccentric with this contact in the first place.

Still looking at the contract she replies, "Hmph, a follower huh, isn't that what your so call 'lackeys' are for?" frowning Chase answers, "As I said Kimiko I don't have a title for you yet" She was being as sassy as ever, figures Chase thought.

Sick of reading she looks away to say, "Your not going to turn me into a cat are you?" She didn't mean to, but she unknowing shows fear in her eyes. However deeper down she was reminded of Omi's similar situation of giving his word to this monster.

Chase couldn't help but still be tempted with the thought, "No, but it does seem to be the right thing to do" seeing her eyes ripple with pain he continues, "However this is merely an experiment"

The hell she thought, "An experiment for what?" since when did Chase turn into the experimental type.

Smirking at the same question in his head he says, "Not so sure myself" then turning his voice into a more serious tone, "I was thinking about killing you in your sleep and just forgetting that you even existed, but I find this course of action to be a lot more fascinating on my part" Smiling in a eerie way he looks at Kimiko's big eyes being alarmed from his blunt comment of wanting to kill her. Laughing he says, "Hahahaha I do apologize for being so straight forward with you but you are being slow in signing the contract" hinting the paper closer and placing a pen in front of her he says, "Just sign it now and quit stalling"

Looking down at her death warrant she cringes at her soon to be next move. She knew that she had no choice in the matter anyway, she couldn't deny or destroy the dam paper off of the face of the earth or burn it until there was nothing left. Because she had gave her word as she sat there ready to act on signing her imprisonment with him and to see her fate take place. She can vividly remember her loud promise to give the power to control her to Chase Young for Andrew's life.

BAM! Immediately realizing a possible loophole in the contract she quickly barks at him, "I won't sign this!"

Then snapping a stare to her he was inflicted with anger to just strike her and forget about his curious mercy towards her, "And what makes you think you can't sign this!"

"Andrew"

Looking at her for a quiet moment he pauses in amazement, then out of the blue he starts laughing uncontrollably to holler, "That poor excuse of a runt is still lucky to be on your mind" continuing to laugh he quickly throws his head back to give his lungs more room to laugh harder.

Angered by this she yells back, "Hey if you really want me to sign this shit here and now, then you better prove that Andrew is still alive or else, it's because of that boy is the reason why I'm here"

Stopping his laughter he looks at her for a moment and realizes something very interesting, the very dark purpose of her bringing up Andrew in the first place. She actually thought she found a way out of this mess. He wasn't the type to be so merry about having rare survivors but for the first time in his life he was actually very happy to have one now. Leering at her he says provocatively, "Sign the contact" he wanted to play with this idea and wanted see how long until she notices she was being desperately immoral in front of him.

And like that she screams, "NO! My life right now depends on that boy's life and I won't sign a dam thing until I see him!" she was so desperate in wanting to leave, that she was booming the mental image of the kid being dead. So much so she completely forgot that she was on the good side of things in the first place. Quickly slapping her mouth shut she curses her moronic head in wishing for such a thing. She tried to justify her action for only lasting a split second after what she wishes for. Especially hushing up to realize what she doing in front of this monster. She actually hoped that Andrew was dead.

Looking at her stop now he concluded she wasn't stupid now. She quickly caught on to her actions and stopped, which to him was a good sign of her principles still being intact. It showed him that she was fast learner and had the immediate decency to stop. Smiling in victory he pushes the contract to her to test her again, "Sign it"

Staring at her curse she quickly dashes her hand to the pen and quickly signs the dam thing. Deciding to believe that Andrew was indeed alive, in hopes of forgiving herself.

X KimikoTohomiko

It was all done now; she was squeezing the pen hard and shacking her hands in anguish. She was fighting her instincts to not try and to stab Chase with it.

Not blinking away from her he was oddly and despicably overjoyed with her, "If I didn't know you better Kimiko I would have thought of you to being afraid now… Though I do find it to be extremely interesting that for a moment you kind of wished for the boy's death" He couldn't help it, he had her by the throat now. That's why he left the boy alone, Andrew was going to be her leash.

Turning away she was furiously ashamed with herself, "Just get that dam thing out of here" She was so messed up, nothing was making sense to her now.

Looking down at her signature he contently rolls up the thick elaborate contract into a tight click to be securely closed. Then with another twist of his wrist he magically makes the scroll disappear into hands leaving a trail of dark vapors waving around him. Then he gazes at her, locking his golden reptilian eyes with her sapphire orbs to say, "Welcome to my guild, Dragon of Fire" and it was just then she finally melts into his eyes, "I hate you"
