Rose's POV

"C'mon Al, we don't want to be late!" I said, partially dragging Albus behind me.

"What's the rush, Rose? We are just going to study. Besides Lilly said she would be a little bit late anyways." Albus said, shaking his head with a chuckle. He had lost some of his confidence after his encounter with Kyle, and I was glad to hear a bit of his old joking self.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you Lilly couldn't come, Ravenclaw's quidditch team decided to have a last minute practice." I said, rounding the corner before stopping at the library's door.

"Wait, if she's not coming, then why are you in such a hurry?" Al asked, looking extremely confused.

"Because, I asked some of my new Slytherin friends to come study with us, and I hate being late, so come one." I said, spinning around, grabbing his arm, and pulling him into the library.

"Wait what? Rose, I'm not to sure about this." He said, somewhat struggling, but by then we had already reached the table, with Rose, Blaise, and Scorpius.

Scorpius's POV

I really hoped, Kat's plan worked. I didn't want Blaise to get hurt or Albus for that matter. Rose was pretty much dragging Albus to our table, he seemed to be quite scared and I couldn't help, but feel bad for the guy. I glanced at Blaise out of the corner of my eye, he was preoccupied with a book, and had yet to notice Rose or Albus.

"Hey guys, this is my cousin Albus, that I told you was going to join us for the day." Rose said smiling brightly. Albus gave a small wave; he seemed very nervous and jumpy. His eyes scanned over us as though trying to size us up, or look into our souls. Either way it was a little unsettling, but I could understand why he did it, after his encounter with Kyle he was probably still on edge.

"Hey." Kat said, I gave a small wave, and Blaise just gave a nod, his nose still buried in a book. Kat kicked him under the table.

"Ow! What the was that for?" Blaise said, looking slightly ruffled and ticked off.

"Say hello." She said she looked like a mother scolding her child. Blaise glared at her, before turning to look at Albus and Rose.

"Hello." He said with a small smile, before turning to Kat. "Happy?" Kat gave a nod, looking quite pleased with herself.

"So this is Kat, you know Scorpius already, and Blaise." Rose said, quickly introducing everyone. "You can go sit by Blaise if you want." Giving Albus a shove toward Blaise, while taking a seat next to Kat and I.

"Um, ok." Albus said looking slightly confused. He quietly walked over to Blaise, and sat down slowly. He looked like he was waiting for something to jump out and scare or spell him.

"Wonderful! So what should we start with?" Kat said, turning to look at Rose and I.

Blaise's POV

They were up to something, or at least Kat and Rose were. Knowing Scorpius he was just along for the ride. After being dragged into the library for some last minute study day, I really didn't want to be messed with, so I found a book on Charms, and began to bury myself in it. After being sharply kicked by Kat under the table, I was ready to rip her head off, until I looked over at Albus to say hi. He was adorable to say the least. With fluffy black hair, and memorizing green eyes, well he looked like a copy of Harry Potter, but he was different. He didn't ooze confidence like you would expect, instead he stood, slightly hunched over, and had his eyes were over crowded with fear, nervousness, and well tiredness. Bags were under his eyes, as though he hadn't slept in months, but he was still perfect. Rose was saying something and before I knew it, Albus was sitting right next to me. Crap, I was so screwed; I already had to deal with thoughts of Scorp… Nope not going there, but now Rose's cousin, did the world just hate me?

Albus's POV

How could she do this to me? She was dragging me into a den of Slytherins! Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with Slytherin, but after Kyle, I really didn't want another repeat of that event.

"Rose, please." I said quietly, trying to get away, but it was too late. There we stood in front of a table of three of Rose's new friends. I recognized Scorpius right off the bat. I mean how could I not? We had been friends when we were younger. There was also a girl and a guy who looked quite similar. Rose quickly introduced me, and I was greeted with a few waves and smiles. A sharp thud was heard under the table and the other guy's head shot up.

"Ow, what was that for?" He said.

"Say hello." The girl said nodding her head toward me. By then I became to distracted, this male, had shaggy, but well kept dark brown hair, it was longer then mine, but framed his face perfectly. His eyes were an ice blue and absolutely memorizing. They held a small ounce of annoyance, most likely from just being kicked, but they also held kindness, intelligence, and a sort of mystery. He was a little smaller then me, I think, but the bit of confidence he held, made him seem a lot bigger. He was cute, to say the least. I was internally blushing; I couldn't like this guy, what if he was a homophobe? What if he thought I was too scrawny and dorky? What if…? No stop right there Albus; you cannot have what ifs, for something that will never happen. Rose introduced them; the guy's name was Blaise, such a lovely name… No we are done with that train of thought.

"You can go sit by Blaise if you want." Rose said, giving me a small shove toward him. Why was she doing this to me? Remain calm, you are just here to study, he is just a human. Wait, what if this was some type of prank? I carefully sat down, anticipating something to happen, luckily nothing did.

"Wonderfully! So what should we start with?" Kat asked Rose and Scorpius. I guess that left Blaise and I on our own. Great, why does the world just hate me?
