A/N: I'm back with another chapter! And it's only been a week since I've updated! A big improvement, I'd say so myself. ;) Hope you like the chapter.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own PJO. The almighty Rick Riordan does. All made up characters are my own.

Percy's POV
I'll give you one thing about Annabeth. She's very persistent.
Every single time she sees me, she tries to apologize. She even texts me sometimes. It was obvious that she was trying really hard to get my forgiveness. She never gave me orders, and she never bitched at me. Even when she brought home 30 bags of clothing, she refused to make me do any work.
I was at my locker right now, where I had brushed off another apology from Annabeth. I was still furious with her. Thalia and her friends noticed that too, questioning me about it after Annabeth's attempts to talk to me. Of course I told them it was nothing but they didn't believe me.
"Looks like Kelp Head is thinking about something. That's a first." I glared at Ashley, but she just smirked teasingly at me. I wasn't that good in academics, so she annoys me from time to time about things like that.
I was about to reply with a comeback but the bell rang, signaling 5 minutes till the start of first period. I sighed. I really didn't want to go to class. It was one of the days where I was annoyed easily.
"See you." Ashley kissed my cheek, walking off. "Oh, and don't forget to stay awake in class!" She yelled over her shoulder. I laughed, shaking me head.
Walking into calculus, I sat down on a random chair, my mind already wandering elsewhere. I suddenly remembered that one time Annabeth had apologized to me.
~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~
I was walking through the hallways, on my out of school when I suddenly bumped into someone. I was about to apologize but the other person beat me to it.
"Oh, sorry about th-" I looked up to see Annabeth with a shocked expression on her face. She composed herself and started to become nervous.
"Um, look, I just really wanted to apologize about-"
I cut her off by walking past her. A few seconds later, I heard her talking to someone else, who sounded really worried. Curious, I slipped into a nearby classroom to listen to their conversation.
"-wrong?" The voice sounded like Thalia.
I could hear tiredness in Annabeth's voice. "It's nothing. We just.." She hesitated. "Had a little argument. Nothing big.
I scoffed silently. Yeah, like insulting my parents is nothing big.
"That doesn't seem like it. I saw you two just now. You said something but he completely ignored you. And you've been acting really strange lately."
"Thalia, it's nothing" She snapped. There was a pause. Then Annabeth sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm just..tired."
"Alright then.." Thalia said, obviously not convinced.
The sounds of their footsteps faded, and I slipped back into the hallway. Looking at their retreating forms, I felt something nagging me, but I ignored the feeling and walked to the front doors, relieved that the school day was over.
~~~~End Flashback~~~~
"Mr. Jackson, what is the answer to question 18?"
My eyes focused on Ms. Dodds, who looked annoyed. She was one of us. Even though she knew me, that didn't mean she was going to be nice. She never was. I glanced down at my textbook, then back up at her.
"I don't know." I hated math. It was never a friend of mine.
Her eyebrows rose. "Well, maybe you'd know it if you didn't daydream. Detention today." Now I really hated math. Or more like Ms. Dodds.
I drove to headquarters as soon as detention ended, which was boring as hell. I haven't been here since last week, so I decided to come. Parking in a spot, I jumped out of my car with my backpack, walking to the main entrance.
As I was approaching the front doors, I heard the slightest movement behind me. I dove to my right, just as I heard a trigger click. I rolled onto my feet, crouching down behind the bush as I heard something wiz pass me.
"Percy, you seriously are the best." Travis and Connor said, jumping down from the trees. I stood up with a smirk.
I noticed the guns they were holding. "You used paint guns?"
They shrugged. "It was the first things we could find. And we didn't want to someone to get shot if they didn't move fast enough." Travis explained.
"Who have you hit so far?" I asked.
"Grover, Mrs. Cynthia, and-" They shuddered. "Clarisse."
I laughed, knowing they got pummeled. The three of us entered the building, Travis and Connor heading off to the kitchen, me going to the training area. Going into the change room, I quickly changed into my training gear that I had brought in my backpack and walked out of the room into the training area.
Going to the punching bag, I wrapped my knuckles in the bandages so the skin wouldn't spilt open. Moving from side to side, I lightly punched the bag, testing it out. I rolled back my shoulders, getting ready to punch again. This time, I didn't hold back. I let my anger from the insult to my parents come out through my punches. I let my annoyance of school out too.
I was so focused on punching that I didn't hear someone come in until I felt a hand stop my punch. I opened my eyes to see Hestia looking at me.
"You were about to punch an empty bag." She pointed to the mess.
The stuffing was leaking out of a hole in the bag. I realized that I had ruined it without even noticing because of my frustration.
I shrugged at Hestia. "I was just practicing. I must have not noticed."
She gave me the look that said I don't believe you. Now tell me what's wrong.
I sighed, walking over to one of the benches. Hestia followed, waiting patiently for me to tell her. I hesitated, though. I never opened up to anyone. But Hestia was an exception. She was like my mother. She cared for my wounds, and was always worried for me. She was one of the few people that was beautiful both inside and out.
"It's this girl." Hestia rose her eyebrows but motioned for me to continue. "She's such a bitch. She acts like she's all that, and is such a spoiled brat. And I have to live with her! She orders me to get all of her things and to put every single fucking piece of clothing away! Not to mention she insulted my parents! She had no right. She doesn't know them. Even I don't know them."
By now I was yelling, my eyes livid. Hestia looked me straight in the eye, not backing down from the intensity of my stare. There was a knowing look in her eyes, and I wondered what she was thinking.
She answered my question. "And why did she insult your parents?"
"I was insulting her boyfriend and she got mad."
She gave me another look and was about to say something when I cut her off. "Luke's a douchebag that flirts with every other pretty face in the school. I suspect he's cheating on Annabeth. I can see it in his eyes. For god's sake he wanted to go out with Ashley! He's rude to everyone that isn't popular. He also thinks he's all that and can do anything to anybody."
"Look, Percy. Yes, she may have insulted you. But she was mad. People say things when they're mad. I know I do. What she said about your parents; she didn't mean it. Maybe if she knew you, but no, she doesn't."
I thought about what she said. Yes, people do say things when they're mad. I did that too. Annabeth didn't know me. Therefore she doesn't know about my parents.
I was still hesitant on forgiving her, and by the look on my face Hestia saw that. "And I bet she apologizes to you. Doesn't she?"
I nodded, remembering all of the times she apologized to me. Well, tried to apologize to me.
"Actually, I always brush her off before she can finish her apology." I confess.
Hestia gave me an exasperated look. "Percy, you really should forgive her. Seeing as she wants your forgiveness. And by the looks of your annoyed expression before, she was bothering you with how many times she was apologizing."
She patted me on my shoulder, then walked off. I sat there, thinking about what Hestia said. Finally coming to one thought, I stood up.
I would forgive Annabeth.
A/N: Yay! Percy's finally going to forgive her! *Does happy dance*
Hoped you liked this chapter. Another one is on its way. XD
