Hello, I want to apologize for my absence. For those who don't know; I've had several deaths in my family. It has taken a long time to cope with their loss. Also, my health is declining; I've had medical issues for the past six years. I'm talking with doctors for treatment on my illness. Anyway, enough of that on with the story!

Chapter 10: We have a serious problem

"What's wrong with him?" Gaara questioned, looking at Hurama. Naruto looked at the large fox as he looked back at him.

"He smells blood in the air, Naruto," Kurama spoke.

"Who's blood?" Naruto questioned aloud. The sky began to darken as everyone looked up. Minato placed his index finger on the ground. His eyes grew wide as Naruto noticed his father's fear.

"What is it?" He questioned. Minato looked up at his son, "He's here."

"Where?!" Naruto shouted as his face grew wrinkled with anger.

"In front of us about one hundred meters, and there's someone else with him… They're dying." Minato said looking at the ground. Naruto faced in front of them, activating his Bijuu Mode and the Rinnegan.

"No one's going to die!" He shouted before disappearing.

"Minato, we must follow," his teacher, Jiraiya said. Minato nodded as everyone ran swiftly to the intruder's location.

Naruto gasped at what he saw… There he sat right in front of him; the man who killed his Sensei, the Rokudaime Hokage. Naruto's face grew even more intense with rage as he saw the figure laying behind the sitting man.

"What's with that face?" the man said resting his head on his right hand.

"If he's gone, I swear, you will die now!" Naruto shouted. Harada looked behind himself to see the motionless body of the ANBU Commander. He smiled as he returned his gaze on the Hokage.

"It's his own fault. I told him not to move or it would get ugly. Well, as you can see he didn't believe me."

"IS HE GONE!?" Naruto shouted at the top of his lungs.

"There's no need to raise your voice, and, no, he isn't dead." Naruto took a step towards Harada. Harada quickly pulled the kunai out of Yaruto's chest, causing Yaruto to groan in pain, and held it at his neck.

"Ah, Ah, Ah, one more step and he's a dead artificial man. You can see that testing me won't end well. Unlike your father I keep my word." Harada looked behind the Hokage to see the others growing ever near. Naruto gritted his teeth as he felt helpless in the situation. The Kyuubis were growing more and more outraged with what was happening. Harada could sense it as a sadistic grin grew across his face.

"Ah, you all finally made it! Welcome to the party."

"Is that him?" Gaara questioned.

"Yea, that's him." Naruto answered gritting his teeth.

"Harada…" Jiraiya spoke looking at his former student.

"It's been a long time hasn't it Jiraiya-Sensei."

"You don't deserve to call him Sensei!" Naruto shouted.

"Easy. Easy. Can I not try to catch up with my old teacher?"

"He's toying with us," the Raikage said.

"I don't like being toyed with…" the Mizukage added.

"Harada, you loved this village why are you attacking it now?" Jiraiya questioned.

"I'll tell you like I told him… Why not?"

"You can't take all of us on," the Uzukage added confidently.

"Ah, where has the time gone? It felt like yesterday that I heard of Uzushiogakure's destruction, and yet now I see it's kage in front of me now."

"Shut up," Naruto said in a dark voice.

"Well, someone is being awfully rude today."

"Harada! Why are you attacking Konoha?" Minato demanded.

"I'll get back to you." Harada said looking at the deceased Hokage. He turned his focus to his Sensei,

"Do you remember what Pein talked about before your death?"

"How do you know of that?" Jiraiya asked.

"I was there; Do you remember?"

"You mean to tell me that you sat by watching Pein kill Jiraiya-Sensei?" Minato demanded. Before Harada had an opportunity to answer Jiraiya responded,

"Yes, I remember what Pein talked about." Harada dropped the kunai and stood up.

"Power to destroy villages and entire countries… I've attained that power." He raised his hand in front of him in the position to snap his fingers.

"I call it Gekido Tensei," He said, with a grin on his face and wide eyes. He snapped his finders.

A bright light flashed in the distance, followed by a loud pop sound, as they felt what seemed to be a very powerful earthquake. They covered their eyes so they wouldn't be blinded by the light. They could hear sadistic laughing as the light began to weaken. They looked at the direction of the blast to see an enormous mushroom like cloud erupted from the ground. They all stared at the destruction that laid before them as one by one they looked at the man who caused it.

"Oops, looks like you need a new Fire Daimyo."

"You bastard!" Naruto shouted, forming a Rasengan with one hand.

"Ah, the Rasengan, I figured Jiraiya-Sensei taught it to you." Harada lifted his hand above his head.

"I'll show you how far apart our power is." He created a normal size Rasengan. As everyone questioned what he was planning the Rasengan began to grow. Larger and Larger it became as everyone looked in awe and terror. The Rasengan size grew to gigantic proportions. The top of it wasn't visible because of cloud cover. Only half was visible, and it was more than enough.

"This is but a taste of my power." Harada spoke, looking up at his Rasengan. He returned his attention to the people who stood before him. Everyone grew in shock as the giant sphere of chakra suddenly disappeared. Harada lowered his hand as he began walking towards the group. They grew on the defensive, waiting for the moment when he would charge at them. Naruto, not wanting to wait for him to charge, charged at Harada with his Rasengan and Bijuu Mode active. Harada slowly looked up as Naruto appeared before him. The Rasengan, millimeters away from hitting its target, passed through him.

"Kamui?!" Naruto said with his arm still in Harada's chest. Harada looked at him with a smirk on his face.

"Not exactly," He said punching Naruto to the ground causing it to crack several feet. He hit him with such force it deactivated his Bijuu Mode. Harada looked at the others standing before him.

"Stay where you are," He said in a very dark and cold voice. He knelt to Naruto speaking quietly in his ear.

"Your brother will die in exactly fifty seconds, so what are you going to do about it?" Naruto looked up, but to his shock Harada wasn't there. Naruto looked back to his comrades

"Dad! Sakura or Gramps quickly!" Minato closed his eyes and in the next moment opened them. Naruto could tell he was being controlled by the way his eyes looked. Minato placed his hand on the ground and spoke,

"Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei!" With Misuto gaining his senses he rushed over to Yaruto who laid motionless. Misuto began healing him as quickly as possible.

"Is he going to make it?!" Naruto shouted as the other kages tried to help him up.

"His wounds are… How can he still be alive?" Misuto questioned.

"What do you mean?" Naruto demanded as knelt to check his brother's pulse.

"His body is badly damaged… He's unconscious…"

"Can you save him?"

"I don't know…" It had been fifty seconds and Misuto stopped healing him. Naruto looked at his grandfather with the fear that his brother had died.

"His heart and his lungs are functioning properly. We need to take him to the hospital, to treat his other wounds." Misuto placed his hand on the ANBU Commander's body and force a large amount of chakra into him.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm putting him into a coma-like state. He doesn't need to be awake for the surgeries needed to repair the broken bones and damaged organs."

"We didn't see or sense fighting, how could he have been so damaged in so little time?"

"These are similar injuries I had in testing my Soaring Thunder God Jutsu, but not to this extreme. My guess he tried a space-time ninjutsu or the Body Flicker Jutsu and Harada somehow countered."

"What are his wounds?" Misuto let out a sigh before he listed the injuries,

"His skull is cracked but his brain isn't harmed. He has six cracked vertebrae, and a broken collar-bone. Both arms are broken in nine places each; he has four cracked ribs and one broken one. Seven out of his ten fingers are broken and his left wrist is broken. His right shoulder is dislocated and his right shoulder-blade is broken. His legs are broken in sixteen places each; from what I can see they took most of the impact along with his arms. Both his ankles are broken with one toe broken on both feet. His left leg has dislocated from his hip and his knee. He had a punctured lung and windpipe. I took care of them, along with his heart being damaged. All his other organs are bruised but not requiring serious attention." Misuto looked at his son standing next to them.

"Minato go to the hospital and place your seal there." Minato nodded and disappeared. Misuto noticed Naruto was having difficulty controlling his emotions; he placed his hand on the Hokage's shoulder.

"Naruto, he's going to make it. He has the blood of the Uzumaki in him." Minato reappeared and placed his hand on Misuto. He activated the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. They appeared in a hospital room with seven doctors waiting for them. The doctors, with the help of Misuto, gently picked Yaruto up and placed him on the bed.

Naruto stood up on the mountain and remained still for several moments. He opened his eyes and began looking in all directions.

"Do you sense him?" Gaara asked the Hokage. Naruto looking towards his allies shook his head.

"Sage Mode…" The Uzukage spoke looking at the Hokage. By this time several Konoha shinobi arrived at the scene.

"Hokage-sama!" One of them shouted. Naruto began to walk towards his fellow kages.

"Lock the village down. No one leaves and no one enters; increase the guard watch and the barrier is to be at maximum strength. Understood?" The Konoha shinobi bowed and scattered into different directions to carry out his orders. The only ones remaining on the mountain were the kages. Naruto walked up to them as they all looked at each other. Gaara closed his eye with saying,

"So, here we go again…"

"I'm in," The Rokudaime Mizukage spoke.

"Me too," The Kyuudaime Tsuchikage added.

"Don't die on us alright." The Uzukage commented.

"The curse of the Tsuchikage ended when I became the Kyuudaime."

"Bold words… Can you back them up?" The Raikge said looking at the Tsuchikage.

"You want to find out, Raikage?"

"Enough, Raikage are you with us?" Gaara interrupted, while opening his eyes.

"If I get a chance to kill that bastard Madara."

"Why Mada…" The Mizukage said before she could catch herself.

"He killed both my parents, Ay and my mother, Manbui."

"Aisa, your father fought honorably, I know I fought beside him."

"You want to tell me about my father? You, the only kage who survived that war, no I think not. I will not risk my people in this mess the Hokage got himself into."

"Raikage!" Gaara shouted.

"Thirteen years! Thirteen years its been since the last war. It took us thirteen years to rebuild our village, ourselves, and you want me to risk destroying ourselves again." Naruto began walking towards the Hokage's office as the other kages looked towards him.

"Where are you going Naruto?" Gaara questioned.

"Three times he has attacked us. Three times we weren't ready; next time we will be. Even if the Raikage doesn't join us; we will still lose."

"Hey, Hokage, don't underestimate us." "Harada is hiding something, I could feel it. Gaara we need to have a meeting with them."

"Alright."

"A meeting with who?"

"The Jinchuriki. If we want to stand a chance we will need them with us."

"My Jinchuriki will not help you." Aisa spoke.

"Raikage, when he is finished with us; he will come for you. I guarantee that."

"What about the Otokage?" the Misukage asked, trying to change the subject.

"He's with us."

"How do you know?"

"Trust me, he's with us. Raikage, you may enjoy what my village has to offer. The rest of you follow me."

Later that night…

"We still do not have enough Shinobi to fight," Naruto said.

"Will the other villages help us?" the Misukage asked.

"I thought the same thing." Naruto commented.

"Most of them will not help us due to our past wars destroying their countries." Gaara concluded.

"I have an idea that might work."

"What?"

"We…" The door to the hokage office opened as everyone grew on guard for fear it could be Harada.

"Emiko?" She closed the door, and walked to Naruto's desk.

"Mom wanted me to give this to you," she spoke handing his haori to him. She turned around and left without saying a word. The kages stood around Naruto's desk in silence as he stared at his haori. A moment pasted before Naruto placed the haori on the back of his chair.

"Gaara, we need to have the meeting now." Gaara nodded as the other kages walked over to a table to further discuss their military action. Naruto closed his eyes while letting out a sigh.

"Naruto?" Son Goku asked.

"Yes, I'm here, and I ask all of you call for your Junchuriki. There is an urgent matter that needs to be addressed." As everyone appeared before him, he looked at the two Kyuubis behind him. They nodded, for they knew what he was about to tell the others. Naruto took a deep breath and faced the other Jinchuriki and tailed beasts.

"The Rokudaime Hokage was murdered, you all know that. Today, the same man attempted to murder my brother, Yaruto." All the Jinchuriki and tailed beasts started questioning and demanding Naruto to explain. After he told them the story of how he found out Yaruto was his brother, he looked back at the Kyuubis.

"It's similar, in a way, to how there are two of them now." He returned his attention to the others.

"This man, Harada, has strength surpassing that of the tailed beast. I've witness it first hand. I can not defeat him unless we have all the tailed beasts are with me."

"That still won't be enough." A dark voice spoke in the distance behind Kurama.

"How are you here? This place can only be accessed by Jinchuriki."

"You just answered your question Ichibi."

"You can't be a Jinchuriki… unless." Harada spoke walking out of the darkness.

"Have you figured it out Kazekage?… I'll show you. Datara, show yourself." The Juubi opened its red Rinnegan with nine tomoe in it. One by one his tails came into the light then his entire body. To everyone's shock it was a humanoid. A long slinder yet defined body. It's head composed of the large eye a wide mouth with jagged teeth and cat like ears.

"So, this is what the Sage created; I'm not impressed. Ten weak versions of me, how insulting."

"H-how?"

"How? It's simple really; all I needed, besides the Gedo Mazo, was a portion of all Tailed beasts chakra. It didn't matter how much chakra; the smallest amount was enough. Once all the chakra was given to the Gedo it only took time. When the Juubi fully matured I fought it; it took nearly three days but I won. I befriended him and my knowledge of the world and of chakra grew… We have one goal."

"What is it?" Naruto nervously asked.

"Death to all shinobi…" Fear began to consume everyone as Harada looked at all the Juubis.

"No shinobi in the world can't stop me… Dead or Alive. My power surpasses even the Rabbit Goddess herself." He began walking towards the shadows as Datara disappeared. "I will not interfere with his funeral, you have my word." After he disappeared Son Goku stated,

"We have a serious problem."

"He won't interfere?" the Sanbi questioned.

"Gaara, the kages need to know."

"Right."

"What?" the Mizukage shouted.

"That's impossible," the Uzukage added.

"If he has the Juubi then we've already lost. If we put the chakra from every shinobi and tailed beast into one being it still wouldn't be enough," the Tsuchikage. concluded.

"We will find a way! I will not let my children live in this world when someone like him is out there… We have to destroy him."

"How? He has the Juubi," Gaara added.

"Naruto is right; we have to destroy him. We'll need all shinobi and tailed beasts with us to have a chance," the Uzuzkage suggested.

"Naruto, our countries alone will not be enough to fight him."

"Harada threatens the life of all shinobi. because he threatens their lives, all shinobi need to fight him. What I am saying is this war will consume all the world and everyone in it. For that reason we will win." Naruto took his haori and put it on. One by one the kages stood up from their seats; each looking at the other.

"We will face this evil after I bury my sensei."

"And so we prepare for the Fifth great Shinobi World War," the Uzuzkage spoke.

"May it be the last one, for our children's sake," Gaara concluded.
