Deja-vu, it was what Anna was experiencing as she found herself back at the palace, back at that day, back with him.

Looking in terror she watched as Hans stood up. She swallowed down her rising bile as she knew what was coming next. They would go to tell her sister about their engagement and then everything would go down the drain.

"I see its easier" said Hans surprising Anna, he did not say that at that time... why did he say it now?,

"Hu?" asked Anna confused,

"Your angry at me, blame me, but what happened is not my fault" said Hans with a smirk, Anna felt rage built up as she stared at his smug look before she yelled "It is your fault!",

"How? How is it my fault?" Hans asked amused "Did I put a knife on your neck and force you to accept my marriage proposal?",

"You used me! You used my loneliness against me!" shrieked Anna,

"You? Lonely? Ha! How rich!" Laughed Hans, growling Anna threw her fist only for him to catch it, holding her hand he said "You were never alone, you chose to be alone",

"One does not choose such a thing!" yelled Anna as soon as she spoke that the scene changed, this time she was in the palace.

In it she saw her six year old self playing with dolls. Being her lonely self when the door to the parlor opened, in came a little girl, Anna knew she was one of the nobles daughters but not much else.

"Those are pretty dolls" she began shyly,

"Hum" answered Anna as she moved the dolls,

"Can I play with you?" asked the girl, turning to face her young Anna said "No",

"Hu? Why?" asked the girl confused,

"Because my sister will leave her room soon to play with me" said Anna before going back to playing.

Baffled yet a little sad the girl turned around and left. Not saying another word.

"This... this proves nothing! I was just a child!" yelled Anna, her voice cracking.

"Oh, were you always a child?" asked Hans as the scene changed, this time they were standing before a group of adults, they were nobles Anna knew.

"What a spoiled brat! She could have said yes, but no she just shrieks and harps on and on about her sister" said one noble who was angry,

"Though a part of me feels sorry for the princess, it is wearing thin as time goes on" said a lady before snorting "I tried to help her, befriend her and take her out to see the sights and country but no! She is just rudely refuses and yells about how I am trying to take her sisters place",

"Such nonsense, how can the king and queen allow this?!" said her husband,

"Not sure but with what I have seen it makes me wonder..." the noble paused and shivered,

"What?" asked the group as they were curious, looking around the noble made sure that they were alone before speaking "What if she and our heiress..."

He did not finish but the whole group knew what he was talking about, gasping in horror the lady said "You don't think...",

"What other explanation is there? The heiress has not been for her sister yet our princess hangs unto her as a lover would to her soldier away from far"

The group gagged and gasped,

"Thats disgusting! How could their parents allow this to happen?!",

"Not sure, but whatever happens we will not be at fault, we tried our best to help the two, especially Anna, they made their choices so the time will come that they will have to pay for them".

The scene shifted to show the servants, they tried, they really did, to be her friends, to play, but Anna refused, at the time the logic was the false hope that Elsa would let her back into her life...

The more she stared the more she wondered why did she not accept them? If she had she would have been less lonely. Though this "Hans" was right she was not going to let him know that.

"This... your just trying to twist things so I succumb!" said Anna in denial,

"What would I gain from it?" said Hans before scofffing "Will you grow up? The reason everything happened and the reason why your mad at me is because its your fault",

"It is not!",

"Time to wake up and accept responsibility Anna! You are not a kid! Your a grown lady! One who has made many poor choices which hurt not only your kingdom! But the ones you love!" snarled Hans,

"No!",

"It was you who brought winter because you did not listen to your sister when she said enough!",

"Stop it!",

"It was you who caused your own loneliness!",

"Stop!",

"And you have the gall to blame me for everything?! Especially when you caused my death!" Said Hans as the scene changed to one most recent.

In it Anna was in Elsas office, reading over a paper. In anger she took new paper and wrote on it before copying her sisters handwritting and sealing it before sending it off.

"I had to make sure you were punished! You broke my heart and Elsa was going to order your pardon and release! I could not let you get away with what you did!" yelled Anna, tears streaming from her eyes as she though of what her sister was going to do. How could she? How could she just let that mad man out atter everything he did?

Hans stared, it seems as if he was thinking of something before asking "Why would your sister let me go?",

"I don't know! She has made bad choices before" said Anna calming down a bit.

He hummed before saying "I don't think it is... If I did what I did the last thing she would want is to let me loose... so why would she pardon me and order my release knowing that I supposevly tried to kill her and you?"

As she took her breaths Anna began to think, when he put it that way it was true... it made no sense that Elsa would do such a thing, especially with how protective she was of her.

Turning Hans began to leave as he did he said "If I were you I would not trust your sister, she onviously is keeping secrets",

"She would never keep a secret from me!" said Anna, but weakly as she remembered what Elsa had said earlier, that she had something to tell her but was afraid...

Afraid of what?

The more she though the more afraid and aware Anna became. Why would Elsa decide this? Did something happened that made her change her mind about Hans fate and if it was... then what was it? What could it be? He was not innocent! His crimes were obvious!

The more she though the more sick she became.

"You should be careful Anna in trusting others, especially family, for if there is one thing I know it is this" said Hans "The people who hurt you the most are the ones who are closest to you, family more often than not"

With that she felt a splitting headaque, as she held her head her world seemed to spin around before it went bright.

Blinking Annas world slowly came back to focus. She blinked several times before the world around her came to focus.

The first thing she saw was Hans, at first she though it was the fake one till she realized he was covered in ice and so forth which meant he was real.

Never once she though she would be happy to see him. With a gesture to his lips, to keep quiet, he reached and pulled on the chains, breaking them off of the roof.

"Thanks" said Anna as Hans proceeded to break the shackles open,

"Thank me when we get out of here" mouthed Hans breaking the shackles with his bare hands before gesturing to the door.

Nodding the two left, as they walked around Hans explained everything to Anna.

"So we have to find the thing that does not belong?" asked Anna after a while.

Hans nodded yes,

"Well lets just hope that its not something small or else we will not be able to find it" said Anna as they began to quietly look through the rooms, as they did they began to worry as the more time passed the more tha palace began to shake.

It got to the point where the walls had huge and noticible cracks.

"This is hopeless! Everything belongs here! In my memories..." said Anna after a while,

"There has to be something" mouthed Hans then after a while he asked "If you wanted to hide something where would you hide it?".

Anna remained silent as she though then emmediatly bolted down the hall.

"Wait for me!" Yelled/ mouthed Hans as he ran after her. They went up and down some stairs.

Then there was a loud crash, Anna tripped and fell foreward, crashing against the ground as the stairs gave way, Hand beraly was able to hold on and pull himself back up before starring at the huge hole he almost fell through.

"Hans you okay?" asked Anna as she got up.

Moving his head he looked at her as if she grew an extra head.

"What?" asked Anna confused,

"You... you asked me if I was okay?" mouthed/repeated Hans baffled,

"Well are you?" asked Anna again,

"Yes but... you were nice..." mouthed Hans in disbelief,

"Look now is not the time... if you jump you can make it here" said Anna as she pointed.

Hans looked it was true but it was kinda a long jump and there was a possibility he would fall. So he backed away,

"Come on! You can make it! If you fall I will pull you up" promised Anna,

"How do I know you will not let me fall?!" demanded/mouthed Hans,

"Hans i did not let you get crushed to death when we fell on that last trap! If I did not then what makes you think I will let you fall?" asked Anna rather annoyed,

"I don't know... you can change your tune at any moment" mouthed Hans crossing his arms,

"Just jump!" ordered Anna.

Growling Hans back away as he though but seeing there was no other option he was forced to comply.

Taking a few steps back he took a running start before jumping. As he fell he felt his body crash against the ground before he began to slip. Clutching unto the ground he struggled before Anna grabbed unto his arm and helped pull him up.

Standing up Hans was sure that if his heart was beating it would have been through the roof right now.

Looking at Anna he mouthed his thanks before they proceeded to make their way through the rest of the palace.

Finally they arrived at a library where Anna began to look around, as she did she began to check and throw all the books around.

"Anna?" asked Hans confused,

"Its got to be here" muttered Anna,

"What?",

"What you told me! The thing that does not belong has to be here! Its the place where I spent the least amount of time! Where I would never hide anything!" explained Anna as she looked around.

Hans looked confused but then his eyes lit up as he got what she meant before he too began to look and throw books around.

Between the two they were making good progress. But as they did the ground continued to shake, more bits of the roof fell. They knew time was running out.

As they continued their search Anna happened upon a book she knew too well. It was then that she noticed a book, it was once she read a long time ago but never finished as her mother took it away and scolded her for it.

The tittle was sun, moon and thalia. Looking back at Hans she opened the book before proceeding to read it as she had been curious about the end and why her mother reacted the way she did.

She started off where she left off which was when the girl was cursed to sleep.

Turning the pages her face frowned then turned to horror as she read.

Poor Thalia was raped, how could it be? This was a fairy tale! Fairytales were supposed to end happy.

As she though she looked down as she realized... was this what that vision meant? Was she so stuck in a fantasy which was nothing but false?

How could it have come to this? She asked but knew why... she rather live and believe a lie than a harsh reality because it was easier... because it made her feel less lonely yet in the end... all it did was bring more sorrow and trouble.

As she turned to close the book there was a loud clang. Looking down at her feet she noticed a strange metal object. It looked like a nail, but bigger.

She wracked her mind to figure out what it was and what it was doing there only to realize... First she had no idea what it was and second she had never seen it before there for...

"Thats the thing that does not belong" Anna whispered as she bend down and took the object.

Once her hand touched it the castle began to shake violently knocking both her and Hans off their feet.

Getting up the two emediatly ran only to find debri had collapsed from above, blocking the door.

Both Anna and Hans panicked as they looked for a way out. Looking at the window Hans eyes widen before he pointed.

Looking Anna was confused before she nodded and proceeded to tear off her skirt and pettycoats. As she did that Hans smashed the window open before he went back to Anna and together they made a rope out of the skirt and multiple pettycoats. When done they threw it out the window and tied it to a heavy book shelf before the two proceeded to climb down.

As they did they felt panic but tried to remain calm as they knew that panicking would only make things worse as they needed their full concentration in climbing.

Finally as soon as their feet hit the ground they ran as fast as they could away from the castle as it began to collapse on top of its self.

Pausing a bit Anna looked back and saw it happen. As it did she felt sad, that was her dream and now it was in shambles.

Hans looked and placed a hand on Annas shoulder, he did not know what he could say to make her feel better, but though he could try "I am sorry"

Anna turned and said nothing as she walked away. Following her Hans was silent as they followed the road back to where Hans started. As they did the area began to brighten up little by little till they saw nothing more.

Both Hans and Anna jumped up. Looking around they began to wonder where they were as they were quite desoriented.

After a while they calm down before they remembered, but then were puzzled as they found themselves in what looked to be a barn which brought the question of how did they get there?

Getting up the two looked around before Anna found a note.

"A note" called Anna out loud making Hans come to her side. Once he was she read it "Draugrs are all over, me and Elsa will try to loose them, be back as soon as possible",

"The draugr followed us, Ingrid must have used that dream to slow us down" mouthed Hans, Anna did not say anything about that as she remembered what she saw and learned. She could not shake it off and the words "The people who hurt you the most are the ones who are closest to you, family more often than not" kept going on and on in her head.

"We better check..." she finally said before leaving.

Walking to the door of the barn they opened it before peeking outside. Anna was quick to recognize that the place she was in was Wandering oakens trading post and sauna, but the place was abandoned from what she saw based on how the trading posts windows and doors were boarded up, there was a small ice sled nearby, but no Elsa or Kristoff.

Wandering out they looked around the area. Soon Hans gestured her to come and quick.

"Whats wrong?" asked Anna, Hans frowned and pointed at a tree, but not the tree specifically, but the gashes on it and it was not the only one, there was a huge trail of destruction, it was as if there had been a battle there.

Worried the two followed it and finally they reached where the battle had climaxed. Somebody had been defeated, Anna prayed but her fears were confirmed as she saw a snowflake on the ground, specifically Elsas snowflake, the one she would use on her hair.

"Oh no..." Anna nodded before taking off or trying to, as Hans quickly stopped her.

"What are you doing?! Let me go!" yelled Anna as she struggled against his hand.

"No! Are you crazy!? Thats what Ingrid wants!" mouthed Hans angrily,

"My sister and Kristoff are in danger! I am not going to sit around and do nothing" snarled Anna,

"I am not asking you that!" snapped/mouthed Hans making Anna stop, once she did he gently let go before continuing "I am asking that we need to be careful..."

Anna was going to yell but held her tongue as she remembered her dream. As much as she wanted to deny it she knew too well that it was her impulses which got her in trouble the first time and now with nobody around she knew that if she got caught or worse there would be no saving. Sure there was Hans but she was not sure how much he can garantee her safety and even if he could keep her safe there was no way that they would be saving Elsa and Kristoff if they did not go about this carefully.

With a sight Anna looked and said gravely "I am placing my full trust on you... so don't disapoint me", Hans looked before nodding and holding out his hand, taking it Anna shook it before saying "What is your plan and how can I help?"

To be continued...

Fun fact: Anna in the beginning experienced what is called false awakening.

Authors note: What happened to Anna?... The best way to describe it is call it is a kind of inception, but while one which was Ingrid was for her own good, the other was placed there many years ago to harm Anna... now that its removed Anna has stared to ask and wonder hard questions. It will lead her to both mature... and question what she knows and her relationships...

Any way that's all for now, I thank you all for reading and ask if you could please review and tell me what you think as your opinions matter.
