Enter the Kappa
It was a dark night in the warehouse district of Republic City as a group of eight crooks entered the main gate. There before them was a field of warehouses ready to be relieved of their contents. After taking care of the guard unfortunate enough to get the night shift they quickly made their way through the long paths leading to the warehouses that held vast amounts of industrial goods, food, tools and even weapons. The latter were what they were after and they quickly made their way to their goal, Warehouse 42 owned by Future Industries.
Once they arrived they quickly opened the doors with a loud screech from doors that have not been oiled in a long while and gazed upon the large pile of wooden crates marked with the Future Industries Logo stacked in a neat pile for them next to a truck. The thieves quickly got to work loading the trailer with the crates full of their lethal cargo. They work fast and with glee knowing that when this successful job was completed they would get a huge pay off from their employer.
They had just finished filling the back of their truck when they heard the audible sound of swords being drawn. The thieves immediately froze like squirrel deer's in headlights. They searched for the source of the sound praying to the Spirits that it was not the creature that terrified the criminal underworld hiding in the shadows. After three long agonizing minutes a red figure descended upon them from the rafters blades whirling in a dance of crimson death.
"Watch out!" yelled one of the thieves as he tried running away from the whirlwind of blades flashing in the dim light of the warehouse. The thief found himself kicked face first into the pavement breaking his face in the process sending teeth and blood everywhere. The Red Spirit quickly slashed the arms of the two men next to him causing them to screech in pain as they clutched their bleeding forearms in terror.
Then on instinct, The Red Spirit threw one of his swords behind him piercing another criminal's left shoulder as he tried to make his way to the driver seat of the truck. This stuck the man into the the side of the trailer with the blade embedding itself halfway through the metal wall.
He was quick to parry a led pipe being swung at his head from his right before countering with a palm strike to the chin of his attacker who went limp from the blow. As if to continue the fluid movements of his attacks The Red Spirit ran forward and slashed the right hand of the closest thief who tried drawing one of the strange handheld weapons, causing the crook to fall to the ground screaming a flurry of profound insults at his attacker.
The Red Spirit noticed the last two thieves running off into the distance trying to flee the whirling onslaught of the blade wielding terror behind them. The Red Spirit immediately took out two bola's from his belt and threw them at the fleeing criminals. The bolas flew through the air and tightly wrapped around the legs of the men causing them to fall flat on their faces. He immediately ran over the prone thieves and slammed their heads hard into the ground knocking them both unconscious.
Quickly surveying the aftermath of the fight and quickly rounded up the unconscious men cuffing them all together in a single chain. As the Red Spirit finished cuffing all of the crooks to one another, he connected the final pair to the nearest dumpster. "They usually take out the trash at dawn" he said to one of the barely conscious men before leaving them to their fate.
Just as The Red Spirit was about to leave the warehouse he spotted a figure hiding behind a large stack of crates pointing an object at him. Quick to react he threw a shuriken above the figure causing him to cry out in terror as The Red Spirit drew his swords and charged towards the hidden figure. Before the Red Spirit reached the mystery person they tumbled backwards and shrieked as the Red Spirit drew nearer.
"WAIT!" the man yelled holding a hand out as if to stop the Red Spirit with sheer will alone dropping a camera and a note pad in the process.
"Who are you?" Red Spirit asked the man who stopped crawling away, terror clearly shown on his face.
"I'm Ri-Richard Lu sir! I'm a reporter! I'm here on an investigation" He quickly blurted out just as the Red Spirit reached him. He was terrified by the intimidating figure before him, realizing then that the stories he heard from the people he interviewed didn't do the fabled Red Spirit justice. He looked as if the Spirit of vengeance towered over him ready to judge his actions in his final moments of life.
"You said you were here on an investigation? What were you investigating?" Richard didn't know what to say, he was shocked that the very person, if he could call him that, who tore through eight 'would be' thieves, was asking him about his work. Slowly standing up and gathering himself, Richard told the Red Spirit everything he knew.
"I've been working on a story for the past two months regarding the shipment of strange weapons under this fake Future Industry logo." Richard started off showing a small photo of the dark industrial symbol before it was snatched out of his hands.
"These weapons don't happen to be handheld and shoot small projectiles?" The Red Spirit asked as he took out a detailed hand drawn blue print of the said weapon.
Richard's eyes opened as wide as saucers recognizing the deadly handheld weapon."Yes that's it! You've seen these before?"
"On a few occasions"
"Well have you managed to figure out whose been making these weapons? or why they are being shipped into Republic City via Future Industries?" Richard asked eagerly picking up his small note pad ready to write down any additional information.
"No, but I've been looking into it. Why do You ask?"
Richard signed, a bit disappointed that he wasn't going to gain more information on his story, 'But it was better than nothing' he thought to himself.
"Right! Well from what I've been able to gather, all of the criminals who traffic these weapons tend to be non-benders. I thought it was kind of strange when I noticed the rise in non-bender criminal activity over the past five years though there is little coincidence with the Stock market crash and the massive loss of jobs throughout the city."
"It could be just a coincidence" The Red Spirit replied not seeing any immediate connection between the weapons and non-benders, but he was knew from experience there is no such thing as a coincidence.
"In my experience there are no coincidences" Richard said. The Red Spirit silently smirked at the like mindedness of the man before him, lacking any means of physical prowess that he could see, Richard had a sharp mind yet if he wasn't careful his next big story would be his obituary.
"I've haven't been able to find out who has been making these weapons, but I have been able to discover where they are being shipped to all across the city."
"Where?" the Red Spirit asked as he grabbed Richard's shoulders, desperate to learn where the weapons were. "Where are they being shipped to!"
"Ah!- the weapons are being shipped to this tea house called The Sleeping Dragon, it's in the bad part of town!" Richard yelled in pain which caused the Red Spirit to release his grip not realizing how much pressure he'd been putting on the man's shoulders.
The Red Spirit recognized the name of the place though he hadn't heard it in a long time. "That's a former Equalist hideout why would they go there unless-"
"-they were former Equalist's" Richard finished coming to the same conclusion, he quickly reached into his coat pocket taking out a business card and handed it to The Red Spirit.
"Here's my number if you have any questions or information contact me I'll make sure that the truth gets out" The Red Spirit quickly took the card and stored it away in his belt pouch before turning around and leaving.
"Are you certain Mako?" Tenzin asked in disbelief.
"Yes, I wouldn't just say this unless I had evidence to back this up" Mako replied assuring Tenzin he was in fact telling the truth.
"Mako you do realize that tension between Benders and Non-Benders is at an all time high since the time of Amon's Equalist movement. If this claim was made public it could be the spark that sets fire to this city that we wont be able to put out quickly like before."
"I know deep scar's were left in the wake of Amon's attack and few people have forgotten those dark days. It's because of this I need you to tell Korra and Chief Bie Fong of the growing development, I don't want to see this city caught off guard by an Equalist resurgence. This way we can keep the news under wraps while we prepare for the worst." Mako responded with a calm yet urgent voice.
Tenzin leaned back into his chair deep in thought about everything he had been told. He knew everything Mako said made sense, however he knew that his family might get caught in the cross fire once again if they went ahead with their current course of action. Yet if he did nothing the entire city would suffer and more than just his family would be endangered by the growing threat.
"Alright I'll do it, but I won't allow my family to remain within the city. After I speak with Korra and Lin, and tell them everything you told me. I will take them to the South Pole until the danger is over, I won't risk their safety again." Tenzin said as he remembered feeling helpless next to his children as they were gagged and bound in the large arena awaiting the removal of their bending at the hands of a mad man. The fear he felt for his family's safety had never been so great, that he refused to let his children out of his sight for over a year and a half after the Equalist uprising.
"I understand, and I know that would be the safest coarse of action for them." Mako replied understanding the reason without a further explanation on Tenzin's part.
"Mako if we do this there will be serious repercussions, I will ask you one last time are you sure that this is the coarse of action you wish to take?" Tenzin asked already knowing the answer yet still found comfort hearing it.
"Yes."
"Very well I will take my family to my mother's place next week, I'll make sure everyone not apart of our circle believes it is a simple family vacation to avoid any suspicion the rest will be left to you."
As Tenzin was about to get up believing that their meeting was over he noticed Mako was still seated with something weighing heavily on his mind. After a long pregnant silence Tenzin ended it by saying "Whats on your mind?"
"Sigh It's Korra."
Tenzin was taken back by this response expecting to here something more along the lines of he concerns with the police force or the city's internal turmoil, but hearing Mako was thinking about Korra was to say, at the very least, surprising.
"Oh! I see. I can honestly say I didn't expect you to talk about her outside of the plan, so you have caught me a bit off guard"
Mako smiled at that "I have been meaning to ask you this for a while yet each time I get close to the subject I have gotten cold feat" Mako confessed.
"What I want to ask you is how has Korra been? Is she well? Is she still that spirited girl I once knew before I left or is she cold and distant?" these were just a few of the thousand questions Mako wanted to ask Tenzin and he knew that he probably wasn't going to get an answer for all of them in once sitting but it was better to try anyway.
"She's fine Mako if that's what you are wondering. I'm not sure I am able to answer your other questions, yet if you want to know more about her you'd have to come here and spend some time with her, and not just get my opinion." Tenzin responded knowing all to well how an instance of this was like for a young couple having experienced this first hand in his youth when was dating Lin.
"That's what I'm worried about I fear that if I show my face she's just going to yell at me instead of trying to help me mend the bridge I tore down five years ago."
Tenzin sighed before responding "You will never get anywhere if you keep on dragging your feat, that inaction will only make that gap wider until their is no means of ever repairing that connection you two once had. Now I won't tell you that you'll be able to start up your relationship anew, but you may be able to still be friends in the near future."
Before Mako could respond they heard the main door open with loud laughter echoing down the short hall way. It was Korra with Tenzin's younger children racing through the hallways in a game of tag. Korra immediately stopped playing with the children as she spotted Mako sitting with Tenzin. She told the kids that she would continue playinf after she talked with their father sending them on their way. Once they were out of sight she quickly stomped into the office with a look that could kill aimed at the two men casually sitting in the lounge chairs.
"What is he doing here?" Korra half yelled as she pointed menacingly at Mako. She was already angry with Mako, yet finding Tenzin talking with him after all this time made her furious.
"I was just leaving" Mako said as he made his way out the door not wanting to be anywhere near the explosion that was about to go off on Air Temple Island. Tenzin merely sat there, waiting for Korra to calm down before he explained himself.
"I was just catching up with Mako, he said he just told me something quite disturbing that you and Lin need to hear" Tenzin said causing Korra to almost forget her rage towards Mako.
Mako returned to his subterranean workshop and began cleaning his weapons and tools. Over the following two months since the Emerald Tiger incident he spent whatever time was left over organizing his work area. He added more lights to brighten up the dark workshop, and set up a map of the entire city as well as multiple smaller maps of the different districts marked with multiple criminal focus points. These points in the city were where he hit the criminals the hardest putting pressure on their illegal operations.
He had a small chemistry lab with test tubes and Bunsen burners, he had a metal shop dedicated to creating his S shurikens, darts, and other tools he needed such as his new Bolas. He even set up a medical station with some basic medical supplies to patch up his wounds. Thankfully he was lucky enough not to have been hurt during his time as a vigilante, yet he knew it was only a matter of time before that changed and being prepared for the worst was the best he could hope for.
There was also a gym with several pieces of equipment, where he would practice his forms and fighting techniques; he would use this area whenever he needed to take a break from work and keep his body in shape. He had even made great headway on building a Sato Mobile from scratch yet he would not have gotten far if it weren't for the blue prints Mr. Sato left behind. If it weren't for the dozens of designs and leftover prototypes scattered across the abandoned workshop Mako wouldn't have half the arsenal he used in his crusade against the criminals of the city.
He was currently sharpening his swords with a wet stone careful not to cut himself on the razor sharp edges as he listened to the police scanner. There was little activity that required his attention aside from a few muggings and the weapons shipments that he stopped the rest of the evening was uneventful. This did not sit well with him, the city was rarely this little criminal activity unless something big was going to happen. It put him on edge knowing something was brewing, and listing off the possible catastrophes that could occur in his head did little to put him at ease.
He spent much of the time after meeting with Richard to see if he could gather any information from the regular criminals, drug dealers, prostitutes and mid level mob members, all of whom had no information on what was going on behind the scenes. Yet there was nothing he could gather from the usual suspects, no matter how hard he pressed them. All he could get out of two
Mako quickly finished sharpening his blades and suited up, the calm of the city getting to him. He was going to visit a certain reporter and gather more information on the current movement of Equalists in the city.
At the Republic Daily one of the largest newspapers distributed throughout Republic City, a single reporter was hard at work staring at a board full of pictures and locations across Republic City. They were instances of thefts of specific equipment that was used by the Equalists and homicides involving small metal projectiles that killed over forty seven people across the city. All of these strings were connected to a mystery person who was behind the manufacture and distribution of this new weapon and was also indirectly responsible for all of the death across the city. With the introduction of these new weapons and the current unrest within the city was becoming a powder keg and was ready to blow at a moments notice.
Richard signed at his lack of progress before turning back to his desk to try and finish his official assignment for work. It was a filler piece about whether the new model of Sato Mobile's were going to be affordable for the public. It was an insult to his potential as a reporter the man who was right there in the square when the New Team Avatar attacked the Equalists controlling City Hall.
He was also the one who first started doing research on the Red Spirit and his actions, yet after he got into one long argument with his boss over how the Republic Daily was portraying the Red Spirit for the hundredth time he was "reassigned." That was code for "You are going to be on lesser stories until you learn to respect my authority!" at least that's what Richard got from it.
Just as he sat down a dark voice came from behind having all his hairs stand up in absolute fear. "Richard Lu"
Richard slowly turned to see the demonic mask of the Red Spirit staring right at him as if it were staring deep into his soul.
"I've come to take you up on your offer"
"O-o-o-oh g-g-good just give me a moment" Richard stuttered as he backed away from his desk towards his file cabinet where he quickly skimmed through the files filled with all of the individual reports and acts of violence committed by non-benders and Equalists dated back five years ago. He had written several notes on how these instances where very similar in nature and how the stockpiling of unknown weapons and hiding in secret locations for training were not the action of gangs but that of a radical anarchist group rearming.
"This should help you out though I wish there was more that i could do for you" Richard said as he handed the thick file to the Red Spirit.
"This will do for now yet if you get wind of any meetings or gatherings I would like to know" at hearing this Richard perked up and internally slapping himself for forgetting to tell him earlier.
"Wait!" he yelled causing the the Red Spirit to halt in his tracks and slowly turn back to the now energetic Robert Lu, who quickly ran to his desk and rummaged through random documents and items until finally he found what he was looking for. It was a small handheld camera that could fit in the palm of one's hand.
"I was wondering if you could take a few pictures for me when you go out on your patrol? I only need a few images that show the Equalists in action"
"And this will help how?" The Red Spirit asked his tone turning dark.
"So the people know this is real and that this threat has returned to Republic City and we can prepare!" Richard responded trying to get his point across.
"And it will help the police get an idea what to look for when searching for Equalists bases"
If the Red Spirit was close to seeing his point of view he couldn't tell, all he knew was that he needed these pictures for his story, for him it was the best way to make the city aware of the looming threat on the horizon, and a way to get his old job back. He went to put the miniature camera back into his desk yet when he reached for it he found, to his surprise, the camera was missing. He looked up at his guest and saw he had taken the camera, before he could react the Red Spirit took a picture of Richard testing out the small handheld device successfully. Without a word the Red Spirit left to office through one of the windows fading into the night, while Richard slumped down in his desk knowing whatever his new "friend" found would be one hell of a story worthy of the front page.
It took The Red Spirit an hour of swinging before he arrived at The Sleeping Dragon tea house. He cursed silently for not having his car built, as he gathered his breath. After a few moments he quietly descended to the ground and made his way to the staff entrance in the back of the building. The door was locked, as it was after hours, and not wanting to draw unwanted attention he quickly took out a set of lock picks and started tinkering with the lock until he heard a click. Slowly opening the door the Red Spirit entered kneeling as he put the lock picks away before closing the door behind him.
He knew he had to move fast in the event their were guards on patrol and quickly made his way through the kitchen towards the basement storage door on the far end of the room. Once he descended to the basement he was disappointed to find rows upon rows of boxes labeled "Tea Leaves." He started opening several of the boxes ripping off the lids a sifted through the contents finding nothing but tea leaves.
After going through over a dozen boxes to find nothing The Red Spirit was ready to believe that this was a false lead until he saw a large stack of boxes at the far end of the wall that looked oddly spaced together. Just as he began making his way over to the, boxes they swung open revealing a pathway and an Equalist guard in full uniform.
Without thinking he rushed the Equalist not even bothering to draw his swords and put both of his arms in a crossed forward strike aiming for his opponents neck. The Equalist barely blocked the attack in time yet not before taking a light blow to the head. The Red Spirit quickly went on the offensive striking as fast as he could trying to strike the vitals of his opponent to quickly subdue him.
The Equalist tried in vain to block the all of the strikes yet too many made contact until a powerful blow connected with his chin knocking him out. The Red Spirit grabbed the unconscious form of the guard and dragged him off to the side and hid him in a tea box. Without wasting a moment he made his way down the stairs ready to face whatever awaited him down below.
After what seemed like an eternity of slowly descending into the belly of the beast The Red Spirit finally made it to the basement level of the "tea house." What he found when he walked towards the entrance made him shudder. Stacked ten boxes high were weapons of various types all with the false Future Industries label burned in to the sides. He quickly fired his cable up into the rafters to try and get a better view. When he looked out into the large underground complex he looked out into the vast sea of wooden boxes, causing him to shudder in fear at the possibilities one could have with the arsenal before him.
'There are enough weapon to arm half the city's populace for a war' the Red Spirit realized as he quickly took out the small compact camera and began taking pictures of the near endless rows of boxes. After a while he descended from the ceiling and ran through the pathways careful to avoid the patrols of Equalist's driving forklifts and transporting containers towards a loading bay connected to the harbor.
'I have to get the police down here and stop this operation before it begins'
Just as he was about to leave he found himself flying through the air towards the wall of boxes where he collided and crumpled up in pain. As he tried gathering his breath the Red Spirit looked up and saw a huge monster of a man running towards him. Quick to act he fired his cable pulling him out of the way of the lumbering mass charging towards him preventing a full on collision with the mobile tank.
Once he got to his feet The Red Spirit drew both of his swords and began sizing his opponent. From the quick five second glance he saw that his opponent was between six and a half to seven foot tall, and judging by the size of the hulking man's muscles he weighed somewhere between 250lbs to 300lbs of pure muscle mass. He also wore steel gauntlets and armor that covered his body similar to that of a turtle's shell, with a helmet that covered his mouth and head leaving enough room for his eyes to see.
"Well it looks like we've got ourselves an intruder boys and he came here to play" the beast laughed as he brought us his arms ready to fight. "Now I want you all to get that shipment going while I have fun, and if the boss asks tell him I won't be long!"with that he charged forward ready to crush the intruder.
The Red Spirit was quick to side step his opponent slashing at the torso of the man in passing. His blades glanced off the armor leaving a few scratches on the surface with a small amount of metal being shaved off yet it was not enough to get through to the soft flesh underneath.
"HA! Good luck trying to get through this armor, it was specially made to be invulnerable; I bet it's even able to withstand an attack by the Avatar!" The man laughed at the futility of the Red Spirit's attacks as he readied another attack.
The Red Spirit dodged again and slashed at the unarmored parts of his opponents upper arms leaving shallow wounds that didn't go nearly as deep as he wanted. Quick to act he continued his barraged of stabs and slashes trying to break through the near impenetrable defense of the walking tank. Then without warning he was knocked back by a blow to the body. The attack itself felt like a tidal wave as he kneeled on the ground trying to catch his breath he saw a large metal fist heading towards his face. With no time to dodge he did the next best thing he blocked with both arms, which did little to stop the full force of the blow.
The Red Spirit was flung across the aisle where he landed hard on the floor further knocking the wind out of him. He felt pain shooting through his entire left arm and found it hard to breath as he got to his feet. 'I can't beat him by fighting like him, I'll be killed' the Red Spirit thought as he tried finding a weakness to exploit as he ran away dodging the attacks along the way.
"You can't out run The Kappa forever! I'll crush you underfoot then rip out your heart and eat it!" the Kappa yelled as he continued to chase his prey through the maze of crates.
The Red Spirit blocked out all the threats coming from his pursuer while looking through the pouches of his belt. The shurikins and darts he had wouldn't have much of an affect on the armor or thick skin of his opponent so they were out, and with one arm injured, he couldn't use both of his cables to trip up the monster chasing him. He finally grabbed a glass vial on his belt and without any hesitation, he threw the vial at the Kappa in an attempt to slow him down long enough to allow the Red Spirit to flee.
The vial, to the surprise of both of them, shattered in the face of the Kappa releasing a cloud of gas. Fearing that he had accidental thrown a smoke bomb the Red Spirit was ready to flee like a bat out of hell, that is until he saw the reaction. The Kappa was screaming in pain as he clawed at his helmet as he tried getting to his face to stop the pain.
It was an experimental weapon that was based off the Red Spirit's smoke bombs, but instead of flash powder the vial held a mixture of warm water, hot pepper juice, and a few other choice ingredients.
Without a second to spare he ignored the pain as he ran towards the wall of crates vaulted over the Kappa's head and kicked it with all the strength he could muster sending his opponent head first through a crate. Unfortunately for the Red Spirit he landed on his bad side knocking the wind out of him and causing more pain to shoot through his body.
Doing his best to ignore the pain he managed to get to his feet just as the Kappa removed his head from the crate. What the Red Spirit saw was something out of a horror story, the face of the Kappa was deformed showing a bald head with a turtle like appearance and a beak like mouth with jagged misshapen teeth, while his entire face was covered in saliva, tears and mucus as the affects of the vial were still hitting the Kappa to the fullest effect.
Without stopping the Red Spirit ran towards the Kappa and began hitting him with his good arm throwing punches, back fists and elbows all in attempt to knock out his opponent quickly. When he saw that wasn't doing enough to bring down the monster before him he used his bad arm to also deliver blows that if they didn't knock out his opponent they would that they very least stun him.
He kept driving back the Kappa inch by inch until he was brought to a knee which allowed the Red Spirit one final opening. He ran up the other knee sticking out and jumped up striking the Kappa's chin with a palm strike only for him to hit his opponent in the face with an elbow strike to the nose both of which made loud audible cracks when they connected. With these final blows the Kappa collapsed to the ground with a deafening thud.
The Red Spirit breathed a sigh of relief just as the pain started to return to his body with a vengeance. His breathing was labored as his bruised ribs became cracked and his left arm, he was sure, was now fully broken in three or four different places. Slowly picking himself up he made his way towards the stair way moving as fast as he could while his entire body ached in pain.
After what seemed like hours he finally made it to the backdoor of the Sleeping Dragon exiting the damned place. He was in the home stretch as he walked through the alley and made his way to the street with no clear direction in mind. All he knew was that he had to get as far away from the Equalist base as possible in the off chance that any of their remaining members might want to attack the weakened hero before he managed the escape.
Just as the Red Spirit made it to the edge of the street he was thrown forward by a powerful force sending him tumbling out nearly the entire width of the street. He slowly turned to see where the explosion originated, and to his dismay he saw the burning inferno that once was the Sleeping Dragon. He stared at the burning inferno and noticed only a few feet away from him was the camera shattered with the film exposed. All the effort and work, fighting a giant monster and discovering a large weapon's smuggling operation, was undone by a single explosion, all of the evidence was gone and these new players managed to get away. As he pondered the reasoning behind blowing up an entire underground arsenal that could very well arm a whole army fifty time over, he slowly blacked out letting the comfort of the darkness take his mind away from the pain.
20 miles away from Republic City in Sandstone Prison
In a dark prison cell, that's only illumination was a flickering lighting the center, a man was reading a letter he received with a package five minutes before lights out. He quickly read the contents of the letter slowly as to not miss any important information.
Dear M.
We have recently been forced to destroy one of our weapons stashes as the Red Spirit has stuck his nose deeper into our business. I'm telling you this information as you have ordered us to break you out of prison the moment we are threatened with discovery. We are ready to help you escape from the outside one mile east of the outer wall, we will pick you up as soon as we spot you.
The items you requested are in your package and several guards were paid to not be on duty when you make your escape, as per your instructions. We eagerly await your return to lead our glorious revolution and rid the world of Benders once and for all.
Long Live the Equalist's!
L
The man quickly opened the small package and smiled as he imagined being free once more, able to eat real food and shower with dignity. All it was a few parts and powerful chemicals, for him to create a simple weapon and the ammunition needed for him to escape the prison with ease. He was so focused on his future freedom that he didn't here the call for lights out until the guard managed to hit the bars to his cell.
"HEY! I said lights out!" the prison guard yelled as clearly wanted his shift to end so he could get sleep.
"Of course sir I will take care of it right away" with that he turned out his lights eagerly allowing the guard to leave.
"Geeze Sato being happy for the first time in years is a bit unnerving but I wont stop a guy from smiling even if his is in prison"
Unbeknownst to the prison guard Hiroshi Sato heard every word "Oh you have no idea how happy I'll be after I become a freeman" he quietly responded before going to sleep with a wide grin.
Well that took longer than expected sorry for the wait Class, Writers block and video games do not mix well. I have just started the next chapter and I hope to have that one done in a month or two, however depending on my scheduled it may be longer. I thank you all for the feed back and I would love to hear your thoughts on this chapter.
Also if there are any ideas for villains from you guys I would love to hear them as I would like to have as many foes as possible in the future for the Red Spirit to face off against.
Please keep in mind that they need to be somewhat original, age appropriate, and they need to a have a short back story explaining how they came to be and I will add them to my story. Please send me your villain ideas via PM and I will respond to you then thank you. Alucard Dragula II.
