CHAPTER 010: EUREKA
November 25th – ?:? - ?
A shower of colors is what he saw.
'What is this?'
Half lidded eyes could barely stare at the display in front of him.
'It's like a tunnel'
Streaks of shining lights bathed his vision.
'It's… beautiful…' He thought as he saw a white end that grew larger as he closed in 'I don't want it to end…'
Then it felt like a rush as his body suddenly plummeted downwards. The only thing he could see was the blue sky over him and a small white figure keeping him close to it.
'Nirvash?'
He could not react as he was not yet fully aware of his situation.
'I just want to… sleep'
As he closed his eyes, he saw a humungous white and green figure closing towards him.
That was the last thing Naruto saw before darkness claimed him once again.
November 25th – 9:40AM– Konoha's Streets– Konoha – Hi no Kuni
Minato grunted as he blocked a fist towards his face courtesy of Kushina who had a mad gleam in her eyes.
The Sharingan user had to admit that Kushina did get stronger over the years. As the Leader, Minato had better things than to keep track of her progress in training.
But even Minato had to admit that she was pushing him to actually try.
"Not bad, Kushina" Minato commented as he weaved through some hand seals "But you will have to do better than that…"
Kushina smirked and went through her own set of seals "You haven't seen anything" She recognized the hand seals Minato used and prepared accordingly.
"Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu!"
"Fuinjutsu: Fuuka Hoin!"
Minato smirked at seeing Kushina sealing his Jutsu in her palm using Fuinjutsu "I have to admit, you have grown stronger over the years. I suppose that it was with the intention of revenge…"
"You have no idea. At first I was going for the Coralian, but now that you're here, the origin of my pain, I'm afraid that the son of that bitch will have to wait" Kushina explained as she dusted her hands of ashes.
"Very well, the dance just starts. I will hold back no more" Minato says as he pulls out his Hiraishin Kunai and throws them at Kushina.
The red haired woman knew that if she let them near her she was finished, but the only way to stop the technique was to get close.
With a swift motion, Kushina rushed forward and griped a Kunai in her grasps and rips off the sealing parchment. Disposing of it rapidly, Kushina spawns her chains to block Minato's assault, which came from behind her.
In a flash, Minato stepped away from the chains and charged forward once again. When he got halfway towards her, he threw a Kunai and vanished in a flash.
Seeing the position of the Kunai, Kushina could predict some of the blows Minato threw at her and felt proud every time a punch of hers connected.
They stood looking at one another in a stalemate until Minato took out another pair of Hiraishin Kunai and threw them at her once again.
'Same trick won't work on me' Kushina thought as he ripped the sealing parchment from the Kunai and spun around to block whatever Minato threw at her. To her surprise, she felt cold steel against her neck.
Minato chuckled behind her as he gripped her in a hold that didn't even let place for any move at all "Same trick won't work on me as well"
"Bastard" She muttered as Minato held her close to him, feeling and groping her body. Kushina was helpless and she didn't like it one bit.
"What's wrong, Kushina? I know you loved when I did this…" Minato said to her in a husky tone.
Kushina bit her bottom lip as she contained not only her rage, but her sadness "Not anymore… not since you had your way with Sakuya…"
"Ah… still feeling touchy about that?" Minato told her in a condescending tone.
That only made Kushina madder than before "How… can you do that? How can you…"
"Do what?"
"Do that… throw away our relationship like that… you damn bastard…" Kushina said as tears fell from her eyes.
Minato stood silently as he heard her sob until he closed his eyes.
Kushina gasped as Minato turned her around and gave her a kiss in her lips. They stood there as they tasted each other and finally broke apart. Minato stared seriously at her until her spoke "How did it feel?"
Kushina looked at him in the eyes and closed them as she fell to the floor limply. From her point of view, Kushina stared up to Minato who was cleaning a bloodstained Kunai.
"Do you feel that?" Minato asked as she felt pain course through her veins "The poison on that Kunai should have taken effect by now"
"H-How?"
"If you ask about the Uzumaki's resistance toward injuries and poisons, I managed to concoct one with the help of a Suna ninja, apparently it does work"
Minato walked away as she writhed in pain.
The last thoughts she had before darkness claimed her were centered about the very man who stabbed her 'You asked me how it felt? It was cold… why did it feel cold? Minato's always were warm… comforting… loving…'
-Flashback-
Kushina walked back towards her house... no, their house. It was a silly thought, but Kushina couldn't get around the idea of her being in a serious relationship with the blonde idiot.
'My idiot though' Kushina thought as she blushed a deep red hue "I wonder what should I cook for us tonight… or maybe we should go out…?"
"Kushina!" A voice called her, one she knew.
"Mikoto!" Kushina greeted her friend "How is it going?"
"Just fine, what about you? The mission went well?" Mikoto smiled at her friend.
"It went well! Though I wish the Daimyo would stop staring at me like that –Ttebane!"
Mikoto suddenly got a worried expression and told her friend "Kushina, Minato has been acting strange lately. He's been snappy to anyone who approaches him and I could swear he was muttering something about headaches!"
Kushina frowned at that and got into deep thought "Maybe he fell down with an illness… I should hurry then…"
"Take care, Kushina"
"Bye Mikoto!"

Kushina stared with wide eyes at the scene in front of her.
It didn't take long for her to arrive to the residential district where their house was located. When she closed in the front door, she noted that the lights were out.
"Maybe Minato is out…" Kushina mused as she fingered her keys and opened the door. The place was dark and things where in their place.
As she walked towards the lights switch, she saw light filtering from their bedroom. She walked in that direction, thinking that Minato was there.
She was right, though not in the way she wanted.
As she walked closer, Kushina started hearing muffled sounds that came from the room.
Her heartbeat rose as she neared the door and recognized what those sounds were from 'It can't be…'
Opening the door slightly, she saw the unthinkable.
Minato stood over a young woman who moaned as he pounded into her.
Kushina stared at what happened in her own room, her own bed! Her eyes quivered in their wide state and her pupil dilated in rhythm with her heartbeats.
She backed away as to get her nervous break under control 'This can't be… Minato… why!?'
Hearing Minato give a loud grunt, Kushina peeked again in time to see as the young woman rose her head as she felt what was most likely Minato's seed entering her womb.
The identity of the woman who stole her man… the bitch who dared defile her man, was none other than her best friend.
"S-S-Sakuya!?" She barely whispered in shock of seeing someone she trusted so much doing something like this to her.

Kushina sat in a chair behind a table in a room that was void of anything else. It was one of the few secret rooms that Konoha had in its possession.
From the door, a white robed figure entered the room and sat in the other chair in the dull grey room.
"How are you doing, Kushina?"
Kushina looked up and stared with bloodshot eyes at a younger Novak Dewey "Just like in the last two years"
Dewey smirked as he said "It was your fault for assaulting the, at the time, future hokage"
"It was his fault…" Kushina stared at Dewey in annoyance "What do you want?"
"Nothing much" Dewey said as he took out a folder with several reports an papers "I have a proposition"
"I don't want to hear it"
"I assure you that it will be worth of your time"
Kushina looked up and slowly nodded.
Dewey took it as his cue and opened the folder "In the recent months, Namikaze Minato disappeared from the face of earth" He stopped to see the expression on her face at the mention of Minato before continuing. Rage bubbled in her face, though she controlled it well "Without no Hokage to rule, a man with no description rose to power, reasoning that a leader whose identity is unknown is stronger than one with a public life that can be used against him. This man which we refer to as The Leader, decided to direct his efforts towards genetic engineering. He deduced from reports that the Coralian DNA holds much more potential than the human who we are"
"What of it?"
"Simple, he plans for the newer generations to contain Coralian cells in a certain percentage until the ninja from the future are completely Coralian, thus evolving the human kind further" Dewey explained as Kushina's eyes widened until they narrowed.
"What do you want of me?"
"We want you to raise one of our subjects, which actually comes from yours and Minato's DNA" He didn't continue as Kushina banged the table and shouted back.
"WHY THE HELL WOULD I RAISE A DAMN CORALIAN, A KID OF HIS NONETHELESS!?"
Dewey calm as ever, just replied "Two reasons actually. First, the child you would raise would become your own to nurture, only following some base rules, but the kid that would come from you would be you weapon to mold as you wish. Second your freedom. You will be set free under the pretense of raising your child"
It didn't take long for Kushina to stand up and nod fiercely at Dewey "Tell me something first… what about Sakuya… what about that bitch?!"
"Sakuya died a month ago" Dewey said shocking Kushina whose smile turned wicked "Her son also disappeared alongside Jiraiya of the Sannin. We're searching for them as of this moment"
Kushina's eyes clenched as she hear the last part "She had a son!?"
"Yes" Dewey smiled knowingly "The kid was a ball of energy much like his mother though Naruto had his father's look"
Dewey knew what he was doing and smiled devilishly as he saw the reaction he wanted "Now, let's get out of here, Kushina. I'm going to present you to Anemone, Namikaze Anemone. I'm sure she'll be ecstatic to meet her mother"
Kushina chuckled darkly which made Dewey look in surprise at her "I'm going to kill that brat and if I can't, Anemone will do as I tell her…"
Dewey smiled and motioned toward the door "This way…"

Kushina stared at the sky once more before she closed her eyes and gave her last breath…

Eureka opened her eyes and looked over the place she was in.
It was a white landscape where she found herself floating.
"Welcome home, Eureka"
Eureka looked up to see several different eyes staring at her. She felt intimidated until she realized who they were.
They had the same eyes as her after all.
"Hello"
"We're ready to learn"
"You may learn"
Eureka's mission to the earth was to learn and comprehend how humans worked.
It was a mystery until this day to the Scub Coral, so in need of new information they sent a seed disguised as one of them.
This is Eureka.
As they read through her mind and memories, Eureka couldn't help but think of the first time she saw the light of the day.
It was the day she was found…
-Flashback-
She knew her mission, so with this humans finding her, her mission started.
Looking up she was treated to the sight of five humans
Each looked different, that was the first thing she noted.
One had grey hair with a bored expression set in his face. On his left arms was tied a headband that had a leaf symbol.
Next to him stood a woman who had short black hair and wore a white and baby blue one piece suit that hung to her body. As her waist sat a headband with a symbol composed of four wavy lines.
To the other side another man looked at her with curious expression. He had blonde hair and wore a long sleeved blue t-shirt and white baggy pants. Over his head he had a bandana with an hourglass symbol.
A man with ebony skin and an afro was squatting next to her. He wore a muscular shirt and white shorts. Holding his afro back, was a headband with cloud symbols.
The last person was a brunette man with short hair. He wore a cream, white and orange jacket over a red shirt and brown pants. On his forehead stood a red headband with a rock symbol.
The one with the leaf symbol spoke first "Who are you, little girl?"
"My name is Eureka" Eureka blinked and focused her vision on the other people in the area. "Who are you?"
"My name is Holland" The now named Holland spoke and pointed to the other ones "I don't know who they are"
The only woman in the clearing huffed in annoyance "Of course you would forget the one who kicked your butt in the Chunnin Exams…" She turned toward Eureka and introduced herself "I'm Yuki Talho, nice to meet you"
The third person stepped up and introduced himself "I'm Moondogie, though I wonder who or what you are…?"
"You Suna ninja always uptight…" The black man drawled while he scratched his head "I'm Matheiu by the way"
"Uptight you say…" Moondogie repeated with a tick mark in his head "I'll show you uptight!"
"Setting aside the double meaning of what you just said, my name is Sumner" The Iwa ninja said as he rubbed his back.
Holland stepped forward and asked "Did you have anything to do with the rise in Transparent Particles in the area?"
"It's possible" She said in a stoic voice that sounded somewhat distant.
The five people that were gathered in the clearing that was destroyed by a Trappar burst could only agree that she was involved in this mess.
It was decided later on that Eureka would go to Konoha for unknown reasons that not only irked Holland, but the other four ninjas who were with him when she first appeared.
Ninja from villages that weren't allied working together was heresy, but the moment the five landed in the clearing, even if they didn't know it, their fates became entwined.

The four years old Eureka sat in front of a pink haired girl that looked at her with big violet eyes reminiscent of hers. To the side of the pink haired girl sat another gave about their age that had dark blue hair with the same eyes as her as well.
"My name is Eureka"
The pink haired girl eyed her curiously and smiled widely "I'm Anemone! And she's my friend Hinata!"
"A-A P-Pleasure to M-Meet you" The blue haired girl bowed as she saluted.
"Why are we here?" Eureka asked her fellow Coralians.
"To play!" Anemone affirmed as she pumped her fist up. For a three year old girl, Anemone was quite eloquent at speaking.
Hinata nodded and smiled only for her to cough blood and hunch forward.
"Hinata!" Anemone shouted as she went to her friend "Hang in there!"
Eureka watched as several men in white suit with masks went into the room and took Hinata away. When she felt a man tap her in the shoulder, she thought it was time for another medical exam. It would not be strange.
"Eureka, we're leaving" said a masked man as he took her away.
"Bye Anemone, Hinata!" Eureka bid her goodbye as she was taken away.
The man led her through some hallways until they arrived to a secluded area where Eureka looked toward the man who took out his suit and revealed himself to be the man who she met in the clearing some months ago.
He looked tired and nervous. He turned toward her and said "We're leaving this place, Eureka"
"Why?"
"They're doing horrible things here…"
"Okay"
Holland looked down at her in surprise and asked "Just like that?"
"I know I can trust you, you helped me when I arrived. I know how you are" She said in a stoic manner while staring up to his eyes.
Holland swore that this wasn't the way a four years old kid should act.
-Flashback End-
Eureka now remembered why she felt familiar to the pink haired pilot.
"I knew her in the past"
"What is troubling you?"
Eureka looked up at the eyes and said "I'm worried for Naruto"
"The hybrid" Eureka nodded and it didn't take long for the Scub to respond "The burst of Transparent Particles is powerful enough to rip through space and time. The Hybrid is lost forever"
The scub didn't understand why informing her of the fate of the blonde only worsened her condition as Eureka fell to the floor crying "N-Naruto…"
"Who was the one who caused your pain…" The Scub shuffled through Eureka's memories and came to a conclusion upon seeing the mistreatment she got under the care of the humans and the actions taken by The Leader, Namikaze Minato "Don't worry, our kin, Namikaze will be eliminated…"
Eureka simply cried but managed to nod. She wanted nothing else for the one who took Naruto away from her. Like that, Eureka fell asleep.
"… and his whole race as well"

"Yo, you're awake?"
Naruto blearily opened his eyes and noted that he was resting on a comfy bed. As his eyes adjusted to he managed to make out the figure that sat beside his bed.
It was a man who looked no younger than thirty that possessed wild brown hair with a tuft of white hair on the front. He wore a black overcoat, black military pants and high black boots.
"Felt better…" Naruto muttered as he sat up in the bed "What happened?"
"You were lucky I was out lifting, if not you would be another splotch in the ground" The man joked as he passed a glass of water to Naruto.
"Thanks" Naruto said as he took a gulp of water "What do you mean a… splotch in the ground?"
The man looked at him strangely before he had a look of realization "You don't remember?"
"It's a bit hazy… I remember seeing lights all around me… and Nirvash… wait where's Nirvash?" Naruto asked the man.
"Nirvash?" The man asked in wonder "Ahh you mean the white thing? That's Nirvash?!"
"Yeah" Naruto replied "He's in… Larvae form I think, less conspicuous"
"I see" The man uttered as he got in deep thought "Oh I didn't introduce myself, I'm Renton"
"I'm Naruto, nice to meet ya" Naruto waved at the man who chuckled "Now I need to get to Konoha somehow…"
"Konoha?" Renton asked curiously as he thought of it.
"Yeah the ninja village you know?"
Renton went deep in thought until he looked at Naruto seriously and said "I don't know anything about a ninja village and even less about Konoha"
Naruto went pale at that 'Where the hell have I landed!?'
"If it helps, I can show you a map of the world, maybe you will find your home" Renton offered with a sympathetic smile.
"Sounds good thanks"
"I'll be right back. By the way, Nirvash is to other side of the bed sleeping. I didn't know what he was called and that he was a LFO like mine" He said as he went out.
Naruto nodded until the last part registered in him, but Renton had already left "Another Nirvash…"
Hearing his pilot speaking, Nirvash looked up and jumped happily into Naruto's lap.
"It's good to see you okay" Naruto rubbed Nirvash's head who cooed at the ministrations. "I wonder where in the hell I arrived? The last I remember was… the Scub Coral gave a Trappar burst!"
He heard someone drop something to the floor and saw Renton staring stunned at him. The wide eyed man uttered what he just said "The Scub Coral gave a Trappar Burst, as in a Scub Burst!?"
Naruto nodded slowly and Renton sighed.
"Then this map will be of no use…" The man had thought running through his head a mile per second "No doubt about it, you come from a different world"
Naruto's eyes widened at that declaration "Why do you say that!?"
"Some things you said. I travelled through the whole world and I never heard of this Konoha or a militaristic civilization of ninja" Renton pointed out as he raised fingers "I was lifting through the area because I detected a burst of trappar in the area and I detected the characteristic genome of a Coralian… something I haven't seen in a long time" Renton closed his eyes as painful memories came to him "Lastly, you have a Nirvash of your own. As far as I know, there can only be one Nirvash at a time in the same plane. That's how the Scub always worked and will"
Naruto looked in awe at the through description of the reasons of why he wasn't in his world anymore "Damn, you know a lot"
"Of course I do" Renton pointed at himself and said "I am a pilot of Nirvash myself"
"Yeah I heard you before saying something about an LFO like yours…" Naruto scratched his cheek sheepishly "Do you know how I can get back to my world? We were in the middle of a war ya know?"
Renton cupped his chin and closed his eyes before saying "You came by a Scub Burst, so another can take you home I guess…"
"All right let's go find another one!" Naruto jumped from the bed and made to run to the door but was stopped by Renton who stopped him by the scruff of his jacket.
"Hold your horses! It's not simple like that" Renton calmed Naruto down. "Scub Burst haven't happened in the last fifteen years"
"Eh!?" Naruto stopped and turned toward Renton "You mean I have to wait another fifteen years!?"
"Not necessarily" Renton replied as he strode through the hallways of the house he was living in "If we get the right machine, we can create another burst…"
"Then let's go!" Naruto rushed outside with Nirvash following after him.
Renton sighed in exasperation and said "Was I like that when I was a brat?"
Naruto turned around looking sheepish "Eh… where do we go?"
Renton smiled resignedly "Guess there's no case. There's a research laboratory that's most likely abandoned that has a machine to stimulate the Scub. We can use that"
"Where's that place?"
Renton smirked and raised his hand. From the sky came a giant white and green LFO that stopped behind him "Just follow me"
Naruto smirked and said "Transform, Nirvash"
Nirvash complied and he glowed until it became its new form, Nirvash Type Zero Spec 2.
"Ah, you're still new at this eh?" Renton teased as he got inside his Nirvash whose eyes glowed green.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked curiously as he jumped to the cockpit of his Nirvash 'I hope he works with me on this. It's only me, no Eureka around. Please help me, Nirvash'
Meanwhile Renton had other things as he watched Naruto jump the easily into Nirvash's cockpit. Be it that it was in its Terreal form, it wasn't that tall, but still. 'What the hell…'
Naruto's Nirvash woke up and transformed into its humanoid form and waved at Renton to lead the way.
Renton shook from his reverie and flew off without needing a table like Naruto did.
Naruto set up a connection to Renton's Nirvash and started communication "Man you don't need a ref board to fly!?"
"This Nirvash can manipulate Trappar easily" Renton replied through the screen.
"Cool"

November 25th – 9:50AM– Konoha's Streets– Konoha – Hi no Kuni
Minato watched as from the Scub Corals that sprouted from the ground, several creatures spawned. Their appearance ranged from mollusks to flat worms and cnidarian.
"So those are the antibodies…" Minato mused as he watched them approach many civilians who were running and turned them into dust upon touching them "Interesting creatures"
"Indeed"
Minato looked over his shoulders lazily to see none other than Orochimaru, who stood looking the scene in front of them with his arms crossed "Strange finding you here, Orochimaru"
"It is stranger to see you alive, Minato" Orochimaru smirked as he looked down at him "Everybody thought of you dead, but seeing you here and acting as The Leader… I have to say that I did not know you at all. You surprise me with what you have done…"
"I'm more surprised of you. A man of science who gave his life for the betterment of humanity, left all of it after an incident in one of your experiments" Minato drawled as he turned toward the long haired man.
"It was more than that…" Orochimaru said with a distant look "That day… an epiphany occurred to me, Minato. The trappar showed me the value of life and what needed to be protected. It was much more precious the life of the Coralian girls than we humans"
Minato shook his head as he heard that "So you went and created your own religion of spies and ninjas?"
"The Vodarac is a group of people joined by the same mission as me" Orochimaru said seriously, eyes narrowed at the blonde man "The day that the accident occurred was the best day of my pathetic life. I gained a purpose to strive for"
Minato nodded in agreement "It's true; one cannot live without a purpose. Without a purpose, one cannot break their limits…" With that said he vanished in a flash and appeared in the air behind Orochimaru, weaving hand seals all the while. "Katon: Gouka Mekakyu no Jutsu!"
"It's not that easy, Minato" Orochimaru muttered as he jumped away from the jutsu. Orochimaru turned around and whipped his arm toward Minato. From his arms snakes came out which all sailed in Minato's direction. "Sen'eijashu"
"I don't want to waste time in this…" Minato mused as he landed on the ground.
"You'll have to do better than that, after all I don't need a Sharingan to know what you're going to do" Orochimaru looked at Minato seriously and started going through some hand seals "Though before we go on, I have a question for you"
Minato nodded and readied his Hiraishin kunai.
"I had some theories about who The Leader was. Based on his acts and personality, I reduced the list of suspects to two. Based on phrases and the way you spoke, I managed to scrape one suspect, though when the hybrid Coralian kid took that cloak from you, I was disconcerted to see it wasn't any of my suspects and even less the one I deduced you to be. I have to say that I had you well studied before your disappearance, so I will ask this" Orochimaru closed his eyes as he reached the last hand seal of the long string. Upon opening them, he asked away "Are you Namikaze Minato?"
The only reaction Minato gave away was a light twitch in his eye. It was all the confirmation Orochimaru needed. Minato tensed and let his smile widen more than usual "I would expect nothing less from you, Orochimaru"
Orochimaru just chuckled and said "It's even worse than I thought, but I have to ask. How did you survive that fight? The one where people thought you died?"
Minato smirked cruelly and said "I'm afraid that I said I would answer one question, but you know much more than what I want people to know. This will be your end, Orochimaru"
Orochimaru smirked internally as he executed his jutsu 'I'm afraid you're underestimating me, Minato. That will be your downfall!"

November 25th – 9:50AM– Chunnin Exams Stadium– Konoha – Hi no Kuni
Yahiko went for another slash which Dewey parried away with the seemingly weaker blade. The wisps of green energy that came from it showed Yahiko that Dewey was pushing his Trappar with each swing.
It didn't bode well…
"Yahiko!"
It was Konan who shouted and Yahiko didn't know why she was calling to him. As a wall of paper formed in front of him, it downed on him. He was going to use one of those wave-like attacks. 'Damn, I'm seriously distracted!"
Yahiko jumped back and regrouped with his friends. Nagato dispersed the dust rising from the clash with a wave of his arms. "You're not focusing, Yahiko"
"No shit" Yahiko muttered as he scratched his neck "What do we do?"
"Novak uses Trappar to predict our moves and empowers his" Konan explained as she raised her hands which were accompanied by thousands of papers "We must overpower him with unpredictability"
"Now that's a plan I like!" Yahiko smirked and covered his sword in water while Nagato smiled at his friend's enthusiasm.
Nagato summoned black rods from his sleeves and charged forward as well.
They were midway to clashing when cries of pain and fear filled the stadium. The four stopped to witness how creatures that had eyes similar to Eureka turned ninja and civilians alike into dust.
"What the hell?" Yahiko breathed out as he saw something completely out of normal.
"The Coralians… The Leader always theorized on this, but we could never confirm it" Dewey explained as he saw some coming at him. Gripping his sabre, he swung it in a wide arc, letting out a stream of trappar that killed the Coralian Antibodies "It's nothing you should worry about"
"Seeing people killed like that… you mean for us to ignore it!?" Nagato shouted as he prepared to jump to help the people in the stadium.
To him it didn't matter if they were from the alliance or not, this kind of indiscriminate killing the Coralian were doing was senseless.
"Not so fast" Dewey made to jump forward, but he saw Konan throwing a wave of papers towards him and Yahiko spewed a wave of water "This is just pathetic!" Dewey admonished and pulled his sabre back for a Trappar Swing which never came.
Dewey's eyes widened as he looked back to see none other than Holland holding his sabre with his bare hand.
"H-How!?"
"I was not called the Silent Rebel around the world for nothing" Holland said as he pulled from the sword and gripped Dewey's wrist "Now, Nagato!"
Nagato nodded and swung his arm forward "Bansho Ten'nin!"
As Dewey watched Nagato performing his technique, and Yahiko's and Konan's technique dispelled before collision, he didn't feel as if he was being pulled, characteristic of the technique, but he felt as something in his chest was.
Eyes widening in realization, the man manifested Trappar in his free arm and prepared a technique.
"Not so fast" Konan shouted as she sent razor sharp shurikens that lodged itself in the man's arms.
Biting out a scream of pain, Dewey tried to free himself but only managed to make his Compac Drive dislodge from his chest in a painful way.
"Yahiko!" Nagato roared at his friend who didn't need to know more to know what to do.
"On it! I'm gonna show you something I saw in TV!" Yahiko declared as he intercepted the Compac Drive "I don't have a saya…" Yahiko posed his sword at his side and made the motion to unsheathe "… But it will do! Iaido: Kiritsuke"
With a swift motion, Yahiko destroyed the Compac Drive in thousands of pieces. Seeing his source of energy destroyed, Dewey's body started convulsing and twisting.
Letting him go out of surprise, Holland saw as his brother writhed in pain in the floor and tried to crawl toward the scattered pieces.
"ARGH!" Dewey couldn't help but scream despite the training he went to. "T-THIS CAN'T END L-LIKE THIS!"
-Flashback-
"Who are you!?"
A young Novak Dewey stared ahead of him to the figure that kidnapped him. He couldn't see who it was, but he knew he was an Uchiha, the eyes gave it away.
"My name doesn't matter, but the reason does" The figure waved at him to come closer "I know of your situation, young Novak"
Dewey's eyes narrowed at that "What would you know!?"
"Much more than what you would believe…" The figure said in a knowing voice "Born to a noble family, trained to be strong, but unable to use Chakra… such a simple concept…"
Dewey gritted his teeth and clenched his fists "Shut up!"
"But why would I shut up when this game just started" The figure said in a mocking tone "I have a proposition for you…"
"I don't want anything to do with you" Dewey shouted as he turned around and walked away.
"I could give you what you always wanted…" That stopped Dewey in his tracks "Power, like nothing you ever thought of…"
Dewey looked over his shoulders and said "Power from you? That seems pricey!"
"Very well then… but remember that my proposal stands for when you're ready"
"Ready for what?" Dewey asked back.
"Ready to know human's true nature"

"It is today that we declare Holland as our heir!"
It was a party to celebrate his younger brother's ninth birthday.
Dewey was now seventeen and as a shinobi, he didn't manage to progress much further than gennin, though after his training with a samurai from Tetsu no Kuni, he was in par with many Jounin.
Dewey was hopeful, that one day, people would recognize what he achieved with his own hand, chakra or not.
But hearing those words coming from his father's mouth, just broke those hopes and let the fears rise up.
As everyone cheered, Dewey ran away as fast as he could and didn't look back.
Some tears leaked from his eyes.
It was always like this, people would ignore the chakra-less brother in favour for the other.
"Why!? Why is it always like this!?"
"Done crying?"
Dewey looked up to see the old man he first saw in the cave years ago "It's you…"
"Do you see now?" The old man smirked and said "Do you want this kind of injustices to end?"
Dewey stared at the man for some minutes before his resolve hardened.
He knew what he needed to do…
-Flashback End-
'This is just so unjust'
Dewey stared as Holland approached him "You're dying"
It was not a question, it was a statement "Without those implants, yes"
"Why… why did it have to come to this, brother?"
"Why… you ask why?" Dewey gave a crooked smile and said "I learned to hate the world… the ninja system… I just wanted to end it"
"This isn't about what happened years ago, right?"
"That was just the last straw, my brother" Dewey replied as he pointed with his weakened hand to his sabre "I don't see your sword on you"
Holland stared and picked up the sabre "I left mine in the Gecko-Go… you want me to kill you?"
"I'm dying anyway… without the Compac Drive I'm slowly being poisoned by the Trappar in my body… I have TPO… Kill me now, Holland"
Holland shook his head and said "I always thought that you just ran away and wanted revenge for what our family did to you… for what I did to you, but now I know you're just a coward" Holland turned around as to walk away "You just ran away from your problems, you could have been a legend in Konoha, but you threw it away…"
"What… WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW!?" Dewey shouted angrily. 'How dare he!? HE HAD EVERYTHING! HE-!'
He couldn't' end as he felt searing pain coming from his shoulder looking up he saw Holland with a steel gaze looking down at him "I almost forgot, an arm for another"
With that he threw the sabre away and wiped the blood in his hand from gripping Dewey's sabre early.
Holland turned around and left the area alongside the Ame trio who stared at the scene in silence.
As they left, some Coralians approached and dived towards him.
Seeing this, Dewey shouted to the top of his lungs "HOLLAND!"
Just like that, Novak Dewey was no more…
November 25th – 10:00AM– Konoha Streets– Konoha – Hi no Kuni
'How could it end like this?'
'Than man… just like that he destroyed me…'
'I guess this is how far my journey will take me…'
Orochimaru's thought gave rounds around this. He thought that he could take on Minato because Nature was on his side…
'How wrong I was…' Orochimaru thought with a chuckle 'was… was I the one who underestimated him?'
So many things sacrificed… Once upon a time he yearned for immortality and in his pursue of it, he discovered the true meaning of Coralians and Trappar.
'I joined with people who were struck by the same connection…'
-Flashback-
"She's dying!" A scientist cried as he tried to stabilize Hyuga's Hinata's body.
Hinata, like many others were genetically engineered to possess Coralian traits, turning them into the first Half-Coralians hybrids. Another like her was none other like Anemone, the daughter of Uzumaki Kushina and Namikaze Minato… at least in name as she was raised In Vitro.
Orochimaru looked up from his notes and sighed in disappointment "Another one to the trash…"
"But… sir! We cannot let her die! She's the Hyuga heir! We cannot have her dying like this!"
Orochimaru waved in dismissal and said "We can have her be a martyr or something…"
Suddenly Hinata's body convulsed more erratically and he skin started cracking and green light poured out.
"SIR! THIS IS AN UNKNOWN SITUATION!"
Orochimaru looked at the body of the girl writhing in pain and said "Her body is reacting to the Trappar and is trying to expel the foreign energy… that never happened before!"
"Sir, shall we seal the room!?"
"No" Orochimaru stated "I'm going in. I will not miss something like this!"
"It's dangerous!"
Orochimaru turned to the scientist exasperated "It's science! The greatest discoveries were made like this"
With that said Orochimaru entered the room containing the girl and started taking notes.
The scientists stared in anticipation at what they were seeing, like they were expecting her to explode.
"Can't you see it's safe?" Orochimaru asked condescendingly "She's just pouring out the Trappar, noth-!"
*BOOOM*
~ES:RE~
"Sir… he's making an excellent recovery" A doctor said to The Leader who stared down at Orochimaru.
"That he is…" He said in a serious tone… "He's awake as well…"
"What happened?" Orochimaru asked groggily as he tried to sit up with little results.
"You were in the middle of a Trappar explosion caused by Hyuga Hinata's Transparent Particles Overload or as it is classified TPO" The Doctor explained as he handed Orochimaru a report on his injuries "As of this moment we do not know how you survived, sir"
"Trappar is much like Natural Chakra, something I'm attuned to thank to Sage Training" Orochimaru explained as he finished reading the report and nodding.
"I'm expecting you to continue your research" The Leader said in a serious tone as he left the room "We don't want an incident like with the Hyuga girl. After all, exploding pilots it's not as useful as a stable one"
Orochimaru looked as the leader left the room with a bad taste in his mouth and he didn't know why. Why was it? For the leader's attitude? No, the Hyuga girl…?
"What is this I'm feeling…?" Orochimaru wondered as he got up and changed into his usual clothes.
He didn't know it at the moment, but the Trappar affected him more than he would ever know.

A little girl screamed in pain as the machinery got to work.
The girl was none other than the young Hyuga's sister, Hanabi.
After revising his notes, Orochimaru decided to test if Hyuga cells were incompatible with Coralian ones, so he set to find another willing Hyuga.
Upon finding none, The Leader provided him with one.
It was all going fine, but as he got closer to starting the process, he got an even stronger pounding headache and he felt way worse than when he thought Hinata.
The machine in work was one designed to inject Coralian cells in precise points in a way that no human can do.
Upon seeing the needles getting closer and hearing the screams of terror of the girl, Orochimaru was prompted to ask "Can we put the girl to sleep!?"
"No sir, Anaesthesia is counterproductive to the process"
Hearing the girl screaming in pain as the needles started getting deeper in her body, broke something in Orochimaru who jerked forward and pressed the abort button.
Surprised by the turn of events, the scientist asked "What's going on, sir?"
"This has to stop" Orochimaru declared, not understanding his own words. He walked to the girl and pulled the needles from her body and put her to sleep with a jutsu to avoid her pain. 'This is wrong…'
With that done, he picked the girl up and left in a Shunshin.
It didn't take him long to arrive to the Hyuga compound where he found a Hyuga guard and handed him the girl "I found the girl in the forest"
The guard nodded and said "Thank you, Orochimaru; we were looking for her since yesterday!"
The man ran toward the main house building and Orochimaru left toward the forest surrounding Konoha
What he did, was not something he did every day, so why?
He needed answers and he knew he would not get them in Konoha…
-Flashback End-
'That was my last day in Konoha as I found my purpose… but I failed…'
As a Coralian approached him and hesitated to approach him, Orochimaru expanded his senses and told the antibody that it was alright.
The Coralian descended upon him and consumed him whole.
What a better way to die for someone like him by paying for his sins?

? – Afternoon– Hangar– Tresor Laboratories – Earth
Naruto watched as Renton set to work on the machine that would generate a Scub burst for him to return home.
The blonde approached a mirror that was in the floor of the destroyed place and noted that whatever changes Eureka pointed at him, were gone.
'Maybe it's temporary?' Naruto wondered as he walked to Renton "Do you need help with something?"
Renton looked up and said "I need some coordinates from your Nirvash… Can you bring him over?"
"Sure" Naruto went and hopped into the Nirvash and brought him closer to Renton "Is it fine here?"
"Perfect" Renton climbed up to the cockpit and got to work by connecting his computer to the central port of the Nirvash and asked out of nowhere "Do you know by chance a Eureka?"
Naruto, taken aback by the question, raised an eyebrow and replied "Yeah I do. She's a co-pilot of Nirvash with me"
"I knew it…" Renton said sadly as he got to work "Do you know that in my life I met two more Nirvash aside from yours?"
"Really?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Yeah and you know what they had in common?" Renton asked as he opened some windows in the laptop. Seeing Naruto shake his head, he continued "For every Nirvash, there's a version of Eureka"
That shocked Naruto greatly "So you say that every Nirvash has a Eureka? This happens with every world's Nirvash?"
"That's something I'm wondering" Renton replied honestly "As far as I know where there is a Nirvash, there is a Eureka" Renton stood in silence as he typed. He came to a stop and looked at Naruto "How is her?"
Naruto looked up in reminiscence and gave a large smile "Perfect… She's the nicest girl I've met and the prettiest…"
Renton smiled at that and nodded turning to work again "Sounds like mine…"
That got Naruto's attention "Where's your Eureka? If you're a pilot of Nirvash then she must be around right?"
Seeing the saddened expression in Renton, Naruto regretted asking immediately "Eureka… she didn't make it" Renton explained "She died birthing our child…"
Naruto looked down in shame of bringing back those memories "I'm sorry for asking…"
"It's okay, it's in the past" Renton tried to shrug it off "Before you ask, my kid died from TPO"
"Damn… talk about bad luck" Naruto wondered but the computer gave a sound that cut his line of thinking. "What's that?"
"That is the sound that the program finished working" Renton said as he stood up and jumped out of the Nirvash. He walked to the machine and connected it, apparently sending the information he got from the Nirvash, or Naruto thought so, he was never good with computers, just good a mechanics and jutsu.
"Is it working?"
"Yes, thought because of the instability of the process I would suggest traversing the Limit of Worlds on a LFO" Renton said a bit dazedly as he stared at the data in the machine. "The machine has enough energy to stay open for just one person…"
"What about it?"
Renton just stared until his eyes snapped to the sky and shouted "NIRVASH NOW!"
Naruto stared wide eyed as the white and green Nirvash came down and kicked him hard in direction of his Nirvash "WHAT THE HELL, RENTON!?"
"I'm sorry Naruto! When I saw you I intended to use this machine for both of us, but seeing at the machine can only sustain the Scub Burst for only one person to go through!" Renton said as he gulped down in uncertainty "I must do this, to find my Eureka and Amber!"
"WAIT RENTON!" Naruto stared as he activated the machine which sparked with green lightning until it shot a beam to the sky.
"I needed the coordinates to not get lost in the Limit of Worlds and the moment I knew you were from another world, I knew I could find her once again!" Renton said as he tried to smile but failed "I didn't want this to come to this, sorry Naruto!"
With that he boarded the Nirvash Spec 3 and crossed the barrier of the Limit of Worlds.
Naruto tried to move, but the shock from the blow Nirvash gave him left him stunned.
The last thing he saw as he fell unconscious was the Scub Burst end and the machine falling apart.

"It's time for you to awake…" Minato said as he stared up to the pinnacle of his creations.
As he held up the quartz, the grey IFO trembled which was barely restrained by the supports which kept it in place.
"Perfection is about to be made…" Minato laughed loudly as he got to work "I'm I right Nirvash…?"
The robot's eyes glowed green in response…

I can't say I'm inspired by George Martin about killing people everywhere, but I think it's realistic in a war for many people to die in both side. It's something I critic from Bleach, a story I dearly love, in the Winter War nobody died from Soul Society! Come on! Even people who were split in half! And now in the thousand year blood war less! Everyone is resurrecting!? WTF!?

Okaze: More than worth the wait! Once again you did really well and I can't wait for the next chapter. I know it won't happen since the story probably won't work this way, but I kinda wish Minato and Kushina took each other out.
