Dlbn: I'm back! Holy crap, I didn't realize I had this chapter written already!

Nbld: No excuses, just stupidity. So let's begin with the Review Corner! Thank you to Paxloria, promocat, Yoitemichaelis, and Sycocat2 for reviewing! Fireworks for you all!

Paxloria: Just being near Alois at all could prove to be fatal. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to kill him already XD Eclipse would probably enjoy that and have to get involved before they destroyed everything, and Raenef would probably be scared out of his mind and hiding behind Eclipse *holds Raenef and rubs his head* Poor Rae.

Promocat: Originally Black Butler was meant to be a yaoi, allegedly, but they changed it because they didn't think it would sell. I like to think they have some kind of mutual attraction between them, but maybe not in a romantic sense. More like a fascination on Sebastian's part because of Ciel's soul, and gratitude on Ciel's part since Sebastian technically saved him. Yes, I see that you are hehe. No worries, everyone has their own opinions ^^ Ciel and Claude do tend to have their wtf moments.

Yoitemichaelis: They're everywhere. Sassy gay men everywhere XD Glad you liked. Haha "Alois" is the only proper way to describe him XD

Sycocat2: Isn't he, though :3 Eclipse gets to have his moment of epic win ;)

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Demon Diary or anything from it. That belongs to Kara. I also do NOT own Black Butler or anything from it. They belong to Yana Toboso. I make NO money off of writing for these categories.

It felt like hours since Ciel and Sebastian had begun their trailing of the winds to find a direction in which to go. The young Earl's stomach groaned in protest at not being fed since early that morning. Ceil grabbed his stomach with his free hand as he used the other to move his walking stick. He always had it on him, even if he didn't really need it. But since the trip was a long and harsh one, he was glad to have ti for additional support. Sebastian had unbuttoned his overcoat to let it hang open and expose the white, buttoned-up shirt underneath. Ciel tried not to look at the tall demon while they walked, but he couldn't help but feel his eyes drift back to take in a view that he hadn't seen before. Sebastian looked relaxed, yet regal and proper like a butler should, all at once. It seemed he was enjoying their little vacation in the country side. They hadn't encountered any issues on their journey, which was a surprise considering how long and how far they had walked, so the demon butler could relax instead of having several items on his agenda at once.

"Are you hungry, my Lord?" Sebastian questioned, looking down at the blue haired boy from the corner of his crimson eyes.

"No, Sebastian. My stomach is merely singing songs of praise in regards to this trip we are taking." The Earl shot back sarcastically. "Of course I'm hungry. But I don't see what we can do about that at this moment. We need to find civilization soon."

Sebastian nodded. "I concur, my Lord. My sincerest apologies, but I do not see anything within the immediate area."

"I was a fool to think you would come up with an idea of where to go. Following wind…such rubbish…"

"Do you have an alternative path of travel in mind? I would be glad to hear it if you do."

"Don't patronize me." Ciel tapped his walking stick on the ground once. "We should rest…I've grown rather weary of all this walking."

"Apologies again, Lord, but nightfall is going to be descending upon us shortly. It would be wise of us to continue our journey."

Ciel looked to the skyline to see the beginnings of a sunset. "Sebastian, we still have time…make yourself useful and fetch us something to eat. We can resume our journey after supper."

"As you wish, my Lord." Sebastian bowed. "I shall return momentarily."

Ciel watched his butler retreat into the woods nearby and sat down on the grass. He wasn't above sitting on the ground, no matter how unsanitary it might be, but the fact that it was a hill in the middle of nowhere made him believe there wasn't much of a chance that something would have been there to excrete or anything along those lines. The young Earl lay his walking stick on the ground beside him before laying back on his arms, which were folded under his head. He shut his eyes and basked in what was left of the sun. Within a few minutes, he drifted off into a deep sleep.

Ciel was woken up a few minutes later when he felt heavy breathing on his face, like that of a snorting horse. He brushed away the offensive sound and turned onto his side to curl up and try to rest some more. Where was Sebastian with their food? He didn't smell anything cooking or anything of the like. Whatever it was that was breathing on him leaned closer and took a few deep sniffs from him. Ciel grunted in annoyance as he felt something warm and sticky drip through his pants leg. He brushed at it and his fingers moved against something with fur. His eyes snapped open and he reached for his walking stick without looking. Had Pluto somehow come through the void or something? He quickly sat up to confront what was bothering him. And his jaw dropped. Snarling above him was a large, bird-like creature with a furry chest, stubby legs with clawed feet, and large wings that were expanded outward and covered most of the sky from view. The sun was still setting, and the red sky painted the creature and gave it an eerie looking glow. Numerous teeth glittered in the setting sunlight. A green, translucent substance was dripping from the teeth and pooled in the creature's mouth. It opened its jaws wider and let out a screech that made the Earl of Phantomhive drop his walking stick and glue his hands to his ears to protect them. What was this thing?! Ciel scooted away as he felt more of the green substance drip onto him. Disgusting! The creature's vibrant, ruby red eyes bore into him as though the twelve year old were its next meal. It let out another screech, making Ciel cover his ears again. When the noise stopped, Ciel shook a little from the shock.

"Sebastian!" He screamed. "This is an order! Come to me at once!"

The creature advanced on him like a bird as he scuttled backwards as quickly as he could.

"Sebastian! Where are you!?"

The terrifying thought sped through his mind that the creature, or one like it, had gotten Sebastian already and Ciel was next. The boy scrambled to his feet, grabbing the tip of his walking stick as he did so, and took off running. He heard the creature screech and risked looking over his shoulder to look. The creature's wings were completely expanded and it was running with its mouth wide open as if it was going to scoop him up.

"Sebastian, where are you?!" Ciel called, panic seeping into his voice. "I need you, Sebastian!"

He found himself at the base of the steep side of a mountain with nowhere to go. Ciel braced against the mountain for the creature to catch him as he saw it advance and closed his eyes so he wouldn't have to see what was coming as he was devoured. Holding to the wall, he awaited a death that he was sure would come. Suddenly, the trees to his left began to pick up and rattle with wind as branches snapped. The creature charging at him stopped and turned to look at what was coming. Ciel opened his eye, expecting to see a bigger creature come charging out to devour the smaller one that had been hunting him. What he got surprised him. He spotted Sebastian coming out of the woods with a rather large deer-looking creature in tow. He dropped the deer on the ground and turned his head to Ciel.

"Ah, young master, there you are." He greeted. "I haven't even been gone fifteen minutes, and you're already in a trouble."

"You're late." Ciel snarled.

"I do apologize, my Lord. A gross miscalculation on my part." Sebastian put a hand on his heart and bowed.

"Sebastian, destroy this creature."

"Yes…my Lord." Sebastian's eyes glowed a pinkish-purple color as he pulled off his gloves and shoved them into the pockets of his jacket. "Ah, what might this be?" He cocked his head to the side.

The creature screeched in his direction, sending bits of the green saliva flying. Sebastian tilted his head to the right and the gooey stuff sailed past him to take out a couple trees.

"A feisty being, aren't you?" He chuckled. "Well, this shall be fun."

The creature looked to Ciel and screeched before turning back to Sebastian. It swiped at him with one of its large wings, but he jumped into the air and threw several silver butter knives at it. The knives struck the creature in the head and back, making it screech louder. It thrashed about to try and remove the offending weapons, but Sebastian threw more silverware and landed a fork in the being's throat. The creature opened its mouth and tried to dig it out with the tiny claw-like hands at the tips of its wings. When it finally freed the fork, it launched it at Sebastian, who side stepped and twirled to avoid it. Angered, the creature began to swipe again, but stopped and tilted its head to the side. It made a noise of confusion before it exploded. Ciel turned his head so any flying bits of the creature coming his way wouldn't get on his face. Pieces of flesh and spots of blood landed on his clothing and in his hair, making him shudder in disgust. When he didn't hear any more movement, he opened his eyes to see Sebastian at his side. Most of the pieces of the creature that had come his way were on Sebastian or the mountain. The demon smiled down at his Lord.

"Are you alright, my Lord?" He wondered, pulling a piece of flesh covered in blood from Ciel's blue-grey hair.

"Yes, I'm fine." Ciel glared, brushing off bits of flesh. "You're covered in entrails. Clean yourself up."

Sebastian shed his jacket and used it to clean himself off.

"How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Make it explode like that."

"My Lord, I did no such thing."

"Of course you didn't, my boy." A voice agreed. "For it was I that slay the creature."

"Who said that?" Ciel looked around. "Show yourself at once!"

A man with long, curly blonde hair in flashy clothing descended towards the two, sitting on a blue sphere of energy. He had his legs crossed one on top of the other. Two stars were tattooed on his face underneath his left eye. Both blue eyes shown with amusement as his lips curled into a smile around pearly white teeth.

"You're a rather rude little boy, are you not? Making demands of someone you hardly know? And that accent…you're not from around here, are you?"

"No, we are not." Ciel stated. "We…"

"Impeccable fashion sense, however, if I do say so myself." He flipped his hair back over his shoulder to reveal a pin on the lapel of his long, red cape.

"Yes, quite…" Ciel nodded once. "Now, if you could…"

"Your name, my boy?"

"I'm not your boy, for one. And for two, I am Earl Ciel Phantomhive; the Queen's watchdog." He tapped his walking stick on the ground once and folded both hands over the blue gem on top of it. "This here is my butler, Sebastian."

Sebastian tipped his head in a bow. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, my good Sir." He greeted.

"Please, the pleasure is all mine. I am Demon Lord Krayon of Egae. This is my territory."

"Demon Lord?" Sebastian was surprised. "You seem rather…human…"

"In a way, I am." Krayon smirked. "Demon Lords are very much human. Were you expecting a demon with horns and wings and fangs?" He chuckled. "Reading too much lore, my boy."

"Hm…"

"What is a Demon Lord?" Ciel questioned Sebastian.

"A Demon Lord is one of the various Lords of hell. They command legions of the underworld. Very powerful and truly frightening indeed." Sebastian nodded. "However, he is nothing like any Demon Lord I have come across before. This world is much different then ours…"

"Excuse me, but 'this world'?" Krayon questioned, cocking an eyebrow in confusion.

"Tell me…where are we?" Ciel wondered. "My butler and I are from another world. We came here through a veil."

"A veil, you say?" Krayon wondered. He leaned his right elbow in his left hand and leaned his chin on his hand. "I can't day I've heard of that." He closed his eyes and removed his hand from his face, turning it to the side. "You might want to ask a demon."

"That doesn't answer my question…"

"You are just within the borders of the town of Egae, of which I am Lord."

"You are Lord of this land, and yet you do not know about the Veil that leads into our world?"

Krayon shook his head, sending his blonde hair flying about. "I can't say that I do. However, you may find an answer if you speak with Eclipse and Demon Lord Raenef V." He replied. "That castle has had more then its fair share of strange happenings over the past few years since that Lord came to power."

"Then I suppose that is our next destination." Ciel nodded.

Krayon grinned. "I shall take you there myself. Oh, I've been looking for the perfect excuse to visit my Erutis." He clasped his hands together and pressed them to his cheek, titling his head to the side.

"Who?" Ciel wondered.

"My darling Erutis." Krayon swooned. "She's a very powerful sword master. She won't take anything from anyone. She's so feisty. A fine specimen of the human species. A fine specimen indeed. Oh, how I long to make her mine." He shook his head. "But alas, she continues to evade my attempts to prove my love for her, and to woo her and show her how I truly feel about her. She doesn't know it yet, but one day, she will be my bride. A feisty swords woman and a powerful Demon Lord…oh, think of the children we could make together…"

Ciel shuddered and made a noise of disgust. The blonde reminded him of the Viscount Druitt back home; a perverted young man who ran a sort of slave trade of only pretty young girls out of his basement. Ciel had been forced to dress like a woman in order to blend in at a party and get closer to the blonde, since the Viscount was the prime suspect in the Jack the Ripper case, and almost became the trophy wife for some rich, old man who had bought him at the Druitt's auction. Sebastian had saved him in time and they had escaped before Scotland Yard descended on the manor; taking all responsible parties into custody.

"So do you care to take us to visit this demon Lord you spoke of? Or shall we stand here and wait while you fantasize over a woman who won't even return your affections?" Ciel snorted.

Sebastian rolled his eyes at his master's rudeness. "What my Lord means is, 'are we going to seek out this Demon Lord you have spoken of'." He corrected, earning a glare from Ciel.

"Oh, yes, where is my head today?" Krayon giggled as the orb lowered to the ground. He stepped off of it as though he was getting out of a carriage. Wind blew and ruffled both his golden curls and his cape around him. "Now, I'll need you two to grab a-hold of me so I can teleport us straight to the castle without having to walk." He held out his arms. "Come, now, we haven't got all day."

Ciel stared at the offered hand with a look of confusion mixed with disgust plaguing his pale features. Sebastian scooped him up bridal style and took Krayon's wrist in his hand. Krayon rolled his eyes. "Go."

Before either Englishman could reply, they were whisked away from the field surrounding them.
