Note: zing=call (from another dystopian book called Starters by Lissa Price, which you guys should check out by the way)
Tobias POV
Shortly after we went back to Chicago, Zeke, Christina, and I created a way to secretly communicate with each other because we were still suspicious of the government.
Later that night, Zeke and Christina zings me. They voiced concerns for me. Not that I blame them since Tris did supposedly die. I run some water in the bathtub to drown out what I'm saying to them, I suggested them to do the same.
"Are you okay?" Christina asks.
"I'm fine!" I say while rolling my eyes.
Zeke bluntly says, "You said Tris is alive."
"She is!" I insist, "The government won't let her leave!"
Christina skeptically says, "We saw her dead. We scattered her ashes a couple days ago!"
"Remember what happened in Erudite," I remind them.
There was a moment of silence, but I can see I convinced them.
Zeke says, "Her ashes." Maybe not.
"She told me that the government gave us fake ashes."
"Wait, you saw and talked to her?" they both ask.
I probably should have started with that. "Yes." There's a small moment of silence before Christina says, "Well, what do we need to do?"
I smile and tell them, "I'm making some alliances with those miserable here, and you guys should do the same there. We'll continue planning after we make our alliances."
They both agree and hang up.
Tris POV
I wake up, disoriented. There are two figures in front of me, and I blink a couple times to make my vision more clear.
It's Aaron and Brian. The serum didn't work on me, but I play the part.
The first words that come out of my mouth are, "Who am I?"
The next chapter will probably be mostly in Tris' pov. I hope you guys like this chapter because it was kind of hard for me. I want to update maybe later on today, so please follow/favorite/REVIEW! :)
Thank you to those who reviewed by the way! If possible, can you guys read my other Divergent fanfiction? I'm almost done with that one :)
