Rin and Len: So recently, Rumi read a story by one of her favorite authors on fanfiction…

Amu and Ikuto: And it went up for adoption.

Rin: She posted a review saying she wanted to adopt it…

Len: And said she'd have some eventual ships and victories.

Amu: But then the author said that 2 others were up for it too.

Ikuto: So she had to wait for the final decision.

Rumi: I waited for about 2-3 weeks.

Rin, Amu, Len, and Ikuto: And she adopted the story!

Last Time

He climbs down the tree and I kiss him goodbye.

"Bye, see ya later." I say.

"See ya later."

We part ways and I make my way to P.E. class with Mrs. Azareia.

"Oh, Rin!" a voice behind me exclaims.

I turn and the view makes my eyes widen.

It was my childhood friend and first love.

"H-hi.

Rin's POV

I stand there, bewildered. Kaito was standing right there. At my school. Even though he moved away when I was 9 and he was 12. But… But he's there. Right there. After five years.

"How've ya been?" he asks, pulling me back out of the past.

"Er, I've been fine. You?"

"I'm fine but you should really get to class. You'll get in trouble if you're late"

I widen my eyes then start to sprint toward my next class. But then,

I trip. And fall upper body first.

"Rin! Are you okay?" Kaito asks.

"I-I'm okay." I say.

I notice that I scraped my legs a bit and they were sore.

"Aw man, your leg's all messed up. Where's your next class?"

"P-P.E. near the back of the school."

He nods then suddenly, he picks me up bridal style and starts running.

"Wh-wh-w-what are you doing?!" I panic.

He simply replies "I'm carrying you."

What the hell? "Put me down you idiot!" I scream at him.

"Why? I'm just helping…"

"I can walk on my own!"

He scoffs, "Well, try walking to your next class then."

He puts me down and I immediately fall down from the pain.

Damn Kaito. Always right.

"Whatever. Hurry up then." I mutter.

He picks me up and starts to sprint once more. Along the way, I hear people gossiping.

"Wah, isn't that Kagamine Rin?"

"I thought she was-"

"She is! But who's that?"

"Maybe she's-"

"No way! That's Shion Kaito!"

"The famous one?"

"No you idiot, the poor one off the streets."

"Oooh."

"He was on TV once! Apparently, he sings like a boss."

"Oh I heard that he also signed a contract."

Suddenly, we stop and he sets me down carefully. He then walks to a group of girls then waves.

"Hi. You… Want my autograph or something? Heard you talking about me."

The girls squeal and practically faint.

"Kaito, hurry up." I interrupt.

He immediately turns back to me and walks back.

"Sorry. They were bothering me a bit…"

I sigh a small one. I look at his features carefully.

He's gotten taller than we've imagined he would've been. He was pretty much wearing a bigger size of the same clothes: blue scarf, white coat lined with blue and some yellow, and a brown pair of pants that a line running down the sides. His facial features were still good looking as ever. Wait… Did I just say that?

I mentally punch myself in the face and quietly say some colorful words.

"Hm? Did you say something?" he suddenly says.

"N-no! I didn't say anything." I stutter.

He laughs it off then says, "I got something for you."

He goes through his bag for a bit then hits his head.

"I'm such an idiot! Sorry Rin, I forgot it at home."

Eh? "Home"?

"Alright you little buggers. Shut up!"

I snap my head to the person talking.

"Who's that?"

"That's not Mrs. Azareia…"

"SHUT UP!" the female stranger yelled.

Silence.

"Okay! Now that you little idiots are quiet, I'll introduce myself."

"My name is Ms. Kaiser. Call me Kai. I'm the substitute for Mrs. Azareia 'cuz she's home sick."

She saw Kaito and then said, "Oh yeah, you guys have a new friend joining today. Get up here."

Kaito walks to the front and faces everyone. Then, he bows.

"Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Shion Kaito. I'm 18 and I'm a bit famous. I'll be in your class from now on so please treat me well!"

Then, comes the gossip.

"He said he's a bit famous!"

"No wonder he looked familiar."

"Didn't he have a small role in Sakine Meiko's music video?"

"Yeah!"

"SHUT UP!" Kai yells.

"Yeesh. Go change you little buggers."

I sigh.

Today's going to be a long day isn't it.

Len's POV

"Oh hey Len!"

I turn around to see Usee running toward me.

"Yo."

"How was lunch?" he asks.

"'Twas fine young man. How was yours?"

"Haha, it was fine my good sir. Got to eat some cream puffs with SeeU."

"Hah, that seems like it was fun."

He sighs dreamily, "Yeah… It was."

I nudge him in the ribs.

"You should tell her soon before she's stolen away by someone else." I casually suggest.

His face goes beet red.

"N-n-n-no! N-n-not yet! It's not the right time yet.."

I laugh at his frustratedness.

"Oh, Len-kun!" a voice suddenly says behind me.

I turn around and see Miku.

Oooh. It's Miku. Wait.

"W-w-what are you doing here Miku? I-I thought you were studying abroad in England!"

"Hehe, well, I came back to see you." she replies.

"W-why? I mean, not to be rude. But why?"

She walks over to me, hugs me, then puts her mouth right next to my ear.

"It's because I missed you." she whispers.
