" Husband!" Hunter ran so fast he was floating off the gravity. Hunter dashed towards Katydid and grabbed her shoulders. " You can't be married to him!"

The man raised two of his swords and thrust them into Hunter's armpits. The man's swords were like scissors. With just the right force he could slice Hunter in half. " You never yell in the presence of a woman, you beast!" Richard exclaimed.

" It's alright, honey," Katydid said. Richard was listening to her like the husband of a widow. He created a pinwheel of sword moving, followed by several X's before he stuck his swords back into his belt. " I'm not afraid of him, Hunter. He's a good man. After you left the Inzectid's kept coming after me. I was a traitor, I never wanted to fight. I thought I could resolve all of this without fighting...but no one wanted to hear my transition. They didn't want to hear how I turned from an Inzectid to a human. All I could do was run, Hunter. I ran all my life from the Inzectid's."

" Why didn't you come to me, Katydid? I would have protected you. Every Spider Rider would come together and protect you."

" Hehehehe. You still act as macho as ever, Hunter. I didn't come to you because you were already fighting the Inzectid's. I didn't want to trouble you. A coward like me hides wherever I could find shelter. I found Richard sleeping in a crevice. He kept saying things. He was talking in his sleep; the only things I could understand were a few letters. They didn't make any sense to me. He didn't have mandibles like me, antenna's, or big eyes, but he spoke Inzectid…I didn't know if he was human or some kind of Inzectid in disguise. I didn't know until the real Inzectid's found me. They tried to grab me and take me back to Lord Mantid. I tried to struggle but they kept pulling me. All I could do was let my hair fall. I hoped someone would find my hair and save me. I hoped you or Magnus may've even come and save me. When we reached the gates I thought it was over for me. I was saved by Richard. He created an illusion that scared the Inzectid's away, than he walked up to me. I asked him how he knew where to find me—he told me he saw my hair. Not all Inzectid's are born with hair, Hunter."

" So I guess you two married after that?" Hunter said.

" No. First Richard said something very corny to me. What did you say, hon?"

" I'm not going to say it to this beast!" Richard exclaimed. " Come on. Do it for me." " If my wife insists I say it to them than I will tell him. I said her eyes furnace me more than a thousand daggers; that her hair was silkier than any net. And a thousand robot ants would be nothing if I had her to cheer me on. I'm not very funny. I know enough that girls don't like men that aren't funny, but she seemed to laugh for some reason."

" We married to stay together, Hunter. He needed an Inzectid's hiding powers and I needed his brawn—at least that was what it was until we stayed together long enough. When you stay together with someone long enough you gain a little bit of trust and honesty."

" But he's not interested in our affairs," Richard said. " I think he's more interested with the happenings."
