Story update! sorry so sorry for the long wait!
"A pleasure I'm sure." he said with a smirk.
"Wha-" Circe was at a loss for words.
I sighed shaking my head. "What do you want Sebastian? Last I heard you were in Brazil."
"The last I heard you were ruling Russia with an iron fist, but you don't see me asking all your inner most secrets."
I glared at him. "What do you want Sebastian?"
"You." he said and then stole a kiss. I growled pushing him away from me.
"Cut the bullshit."
He tsked. "Why must you always act like you're not happed to see me?"
"Because I'm not."
"Bullshit." he said seriously.
"I'll only ask once more before I get violent."
"I love it when your violent." he said with a smirk
"What do you want Sebastian?"
He sighed circling me. "I want a lot of things my love. I want you. I want my family. I want world peace. I want a doomsday device. I want a rocket launcher. I want a couple of heat seeking missiles-
I turned and walked away. He was being a comedian, not something I had time for.
He appeared by my side. "So you were really just walk away from someone when their talking to you. That's very rude."
"I don't have time for this. Rine is hurt. She is my top priority right now, not whatever half assed agenda you have distorting that brain of yours." I said reaching for the door.
He grabbed it first and held it open like the perfect gentleman.
I glared at him before mumbling a "thanks."
I started the car to drive away but the car didn't move, I instantly glared at him "Let me go."
"Sure, sure." He said walking around to the other side.
"Move witchling." He growled.
Circe hopped out of the seat with Katherine's body and slid into the back.
"Are you kidding me?" I hissed at him.
"What?" He said innocently sliding in the passenger seat. With a wave of his hand my car zoomed foreword.
I suddenly smashed my foot on the brake and his head slammed into the dashboard.
His head snapped up his eyes glowing yellow showing his ire. "What the bloody hell was that for?"
"If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times. Don't fuck with my car." I said coldly. "Consider that my revenge."
He glared at me.
"Don't look at me like that…it wouldn't have even happened if you were wearing a seatbelt."
He growled and I smirked. I took off again.
An hour into our drive on the road rine woke up.
"Claudine?" she murmured and I looked in the rearview mirror and met her brown eyes
"Yes love, how are you feel are you still in pain?"
Her eyes swelled with tears. "I thought- I thought I was hallucinating."
"Nope we are real." Sebastian said flashing her a dazing smile.
"Bastion." She said with a soft smile.
"Hello mamacita."
"Are you sure I'm not dead? I have seen either of you together since-"
"Since my brother tried to dagger me and intomb me like my father was intombed?"
"Yeah." she said quietly.
"What?" Ariel said, and I looked at her through the mirror. She had been so quiet I had forgotten she was there. "Why would your brother do that?"
"The question is not why but how. How could he do that? Especially to his other half." Circe said.
"His better half." Rine, Sebastian and I said together, before the three of us shared a laugh.
"Well its simple darling; my brother is an ass."
I pulled over at a hotel.
"Why did we stop?" I snapped and him.
"Two witches a vampire turned human and a pregnant hybrid all in one car. I'm starving, and I'm sure the others are to." I said closing the door.
"We will stop here tonight and leave in the morning." I said with a voice that left no room for argument.
After reservations were made we had three rooms.
Circe had her own room and since I didn't want Katerina by herself Ariel would be rooming with her. That left Sebastian and I in a room together.
I inwardly scowled.
"Come Katerina." I said to her after everyone had eaten, as I made my way to my giant bathroom. I started the water and when it was full enough I motioned for her to get in.
After a moment's hesitation she did.
I argued her down and eventually I won and I got to wash her up.
"You're treating me like a child." she pouted.
"You are." I said with a snicker bopping her nose with the white towel that I draped around her.
"So tell me Rine, how exactly did this fate fall upon your shoulders." I asked her after she was dressed in silk pjs.
"Well…" She said and told me her story. I sat and listened, scolding her every now and then for her behavior but in the end, I was still more pissed at the recent doppelgänger…call me biased.
After all I didn't turn Rine into a vampire just for her to be human.
By the end of her tale Rine was crying. Not many people knew this side of her. The fragile and sheer side of her, no, she only saved that side for the people she cared about and trusted the most.
I coddled her holding her in my arms and whispering calming words in her ear until she fell asleep. Rine was not the first vampire that I had sired but she was one that I favored.
I carried her to the room she would be sharing with Ariel.
Ariel watched as I tucked Rine in and kissed her forehead. "Circe wasn't kidding, she holds your favor."
"She does." I said watching her before turning to look at Ariel. "But she's not the only one."
Ariel blushed. "You don't even know me."
"I know enough." I said with a shrug as I walked over to her and tucking her into her bed just like I did Rine.
"I've never had anyone do this for me before." She said in a small voice.
"What tuck you in?"
She shook her head as her eyes closed and murmured. "No, so motherly."
My eyes widened. I kissed her forehead as well before turning the lights off in their room.
I walked to the balcony and stared into the night sky, I sighed when I felt his presence.
"Oh don't be that way." He said wrapping his arms around me.
"Sebastian…what is it that you want? Why are you here? Tell me." I said still staring into the night.
"I came back for you." He said after a while.
"You should have never left…"
"Claudine-"
"No." I growled my eyes flashing. "You left me; you left me and hours before I gave birth. You weren't there. You weren't there for me; you weren't there for your children."
"I came back."
"You came back sprouting nonsense of love and forever's and always, like a fool I fell for it again and surprise, surprise I end up knocked up again and you flee. You. Left. Me." I whispered.
"I didn't have a choice." He said.
"Yes you did, you could have chosen me." I snapped.
"If I stayed, we would have died. He would have killed us, all of us." He growled out shaking me.
"But we would have died together…" I said sadly looking into his green eyes.
"Dine-"
"Save it. I don't want to hear your excuses. I'm tired of them. But you might want to find an excuse to give to your children."
"Dine!" He said again only for me to flash from the room.
I needed a stress reliever.
I looked at the sign Whittemore College with not far from here. I smiled as I felt the babies kick; we could use a late night snack.
College, such a magical place for hungry vampires.
Sneaking in and out of dorms for a last night snack piece of cake. Doing it alone, apparently not so much.
"Is there a reason why you keep shadowing me?" I said coldly as I paused in front of a dorm room.
"Just making sure your safe." Sebastian whispered.
I scoffed. I popped opened the dorm room and went over to the bed.
My eyes flashed as I saw the familiar face. I looked at Sebastian and his eyes glowed as well. We snapped both their necks and carried their bodies out of the school.
~A couple a miles away~
I watched them from above shadowed by Sebastian's magic.
He not so gently woke up our guests.
I smiled as he threw a bucket of vervain laced water on them.
They screamed in horror.
"What do you want?"
"Who are you?"
"Why are you doing this?"
The same questions I've heard a many ask.
They weren't very original.
"Who am I? The question isn't who we are." I said stepping from the shadows catching the attention of both the brunette and the blonde "the question is who you both are."
"My dearest," Sebastian started in Italian. "what shall we do with them. Kill them?"
"I want to know if they have been taking vervain.
"Why would they do that?
"They have had many dealing with my family; surely they would have wanted to not be compelled, right?"
He nodded and then gave them a smile. "Here's the deal preemies, I want you to answer me truthfully. If you tell the truth you will be set free."
The both nodded
"Have you been ingesting vervain?"
"No." they both said quickly.
"Are you both telling the truth?"
"Yes."
Sebastian nodded at them and slyly shot me a look, they were lying.
Faster than they could have seen I shoved a rusty vervain laced hook into the doppelgänger bitches back. And hung her upside down.
The blonde screamed and cursed me while the doppelgänger cried out her blood spilling on the ground.
"Such a foul mouth from someone as young as yourself." Sebastian said shaking his head, I nodded in agreement.
"Fuck you!" The blonde hissed. And I smirked at her.
"Fuck me?" I swiped my hand across her friend's stomach as watched as more blood spilt from her.
I looked at her friend. "You should watch your mouth." I looked at Sebastian "Bite her."
Sebastian quickly wolfed out and fear literally oozed from their bodies.
"No wait please, please she will die!" the doppelgänger cried.
I looked at her. "I know."
"Why are you doing this?"
I swiped my hand across her stomach watching the waterfall of blood again
"Because it's fun." I turned back to Sebastian who was playing with her. "Stop playing with your food."
Sebastian growled at me and then bit the blonde vamp hard.
She screamed in pain. "Oh my god…" Caroline said as tears fell from her eyes.
"Yes, darling," I said looking at her dead in her eyes. "You are going to die…"
My phone rang and I answered it.
"I'm busy." I snapped into the phone.
"Mommy?" Royce said slowly.
I stared at the young vampires as they listened in.
"Yes my love."
"Whatever your doing don't do it…"
"Whatever do you mean?"
"You can't kill them yet." Royce said in Italian.
I pouted. "Why not?"
"Because, because you just can't, not yet."
"I can't kill them permanently…" I said.
"Yes."
"Good, because I had no intention of making either of their deaths easy."
"Goodnight mommy." Royce said with a chuckle.
"Good night my love, you and your sister better behave. I'll see you soon." I said before we disconnected.
I walked over to the doppelgänger. "Let's see if I've drained enough blood."
"I want you
to take this knife, and stab yourself in the in the right leg, and if you get bored switch legs."
The girl took the knife with a shaky hand trying to fight my compulsion and then screamed as he stabbed herself in the leg.
"Marvelous…"
"What are we to do about the blonde one?"
I narrowed my eyes at her. "Is she compellable?"
He shrugged "would she be able to act to the compulsion?"
I smirked as I took in her slacked form. The girl was defiantly on deaths door step. I shoved a hook and her back and hung her up like meat.
"Only one way to find out." I said and grabbed her face. "Go home."
It took her a minute to understand but once it kicked her body started acting. She screamed as the hook in her back went deeper.
I laughed. "Alright, alright, don't hurt yourself."
I bite my wrist and shoved it in her mouth. Her bite healed in seconds.
"Oh my god, you're a hybrid." The doppelgänger said.
I smirked turning towards the doppelgänger.
"Klaus will kill you if you kill me, if you kill Caroline."
My laughter echoed through the abandoned building.
"Do you think I'm afraid of Nicklaus?"
"He will kill you when he finds out you have his doppelgänger."
I smirked. "You may be the doppelgänger, but you're a vampire, your blood can no longer serve its purpose."
"If its doppelgänger blood you want then-then go after Katherine she human, you can use her blood."
My eyes blazed gold as I flashed towards her swiping her across the face.
I relished in hearing her screams.
"Don't you even say her name." I hissed venomous.
I looked at Sebastian who was glaring at her too.
"You can have fun with her; if I continue my type of fun she will be dead. Make it extra painful for Kol."
Sebastian snickered but nodded, walking over to his station and rolling out a set of tools. I smirked when I saw that before snapping the blonde's neck and snatching her off her hook.
This was right up his alley, my grin widened as her screams echoed and I continued to drag the blonde's body further away, it was music to my ears.
