Chapter 10
Early July 2nd (3 in the morning)
Sally looked at the disc being held out to her. She grabbed it from the man's hands, staring at the handwriting on the disc. "To Sherlock Holmes and John Watson" it said. The writing was clearly in a black Sharpie, and the writing was honestly original. No writing she had seen before was so intricate. It was print, but with loops, angles, and the elegant style of script.
Sally realized that the man was still standing there, watching her. "What do you want?" she snapped. "Go finish whatever it was you were doing."
The man looked a little shocked, but he he did as she said. He went off back towards the apartment, leaving Sally to contemplate the disc.
She turned that disc over in her hands, trying to find any other evidence off the disc. Sally let out a disgruntled sigh.
"These two are going to be the death of everybody at this rate," she muttered to herself, turning back towards the crime scene. She strode over to the door leading up to the apartment in which the lady was murdered.
Sally pushed the door open, seeing as how it wasn't closed completely. She ignored the tenants from the first floor apartments as they crowded by the stairs, which were of course marked off.
The stairs creaked slightly as Sally ascended up them, passing the occasional officer going down. The stairs weren't very long, and neither were they very wide.
While she was going up the stairs, Sally fumbled with the bagged disc, flipping it over and switching which hand it was in continually.
She reached the top of the stairs and turned left towards the crime scene. On the front of the door was the same mark as last time , the U with the o in it, and t underneath, and three sixes. The only difference between this one and the previous mark, was that this one had obvious signs of blood in it.
Reviews~ StArBarD: Yeah, there's going to be a lot of these by the rate of how short these are.
