First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me more inspiration to work on the next chapter, which you are about to read on below. I promise you that this chapter will keep you glued as the story is now underway.

Looks like the problem has further intensified as Taiki and Tagiru are captured and sent to Magic Land, yet both managed to escape but are being pursued by their abductors, and now Izumi Orimoto is abducted by Auma and plans to use her to "change" Japan, which will affect most of the Xros Hearts characters.

Well, that's the summary I can tell you right now, but you'll soon see where this would lead to, so here is the second chapter, so read and enjoy!

Ch. 10: Shōtotsu no Mahotsukai no shōtotsu

At Shibuya, Izumi Orimoto is outside the Omokagedo Antique Shop and is watching the skies as she wondered how Takuya is doing after watching the news about the incidents that happened earlier, with Yoshino Fujieda and Tomoki Himi accompanying her and they all wondered who is behind the series of "magical incidents" when Auma, in his armored guise as the "Gold Wizard", appeared in front of them and makes his intentions known by pointing his finger at Izumi, and as Yoshjino aimed her gun at him, Auma uses his ring to invoke the Gravity spell and levitates her and Tomoki towards the antique shop's window, crashing before taking Izumi away.

"Now...come with me..."

"N-no! I won't!"

"You will come with me...whether you like it or not!"

"What do you want?!"

"You will be a sacrifice...to change Japan..."

"I will not! Leave me alone!"

"You have no choice..."

"Someone help me!"

Wizardriver: "SLEEP...NOW!"

Using the Sleep Ring's power, Izumi went unconscious as Auma, as the Gold Wizard, took her away and left just as Junpei rushes to Yoshino and Tomoki, seeing them unconscious against the display window, where the glass windows were shattered. He is horrified at seeing their states and slowly gets the help of passerby to help bring them inside his shop, while noticing that Izumi is nowhere to be seen, and after getting word that they did not see what happened, which further added a lot of worry.

"I have a bad feeling about this..."

As he began to treat the unconscious Tomoki and Yoshino, he took his cellphone to contact Takuya in order to let him know what happened a while ago.

Several minutes later, the scene showed that the streets of Kyoto are somewhat devastated, as bodies are laid everywhere, some burnt to death, others are dismembered and limbs scattered all over, with many of the victims' loved ones wailing and screaming at their kin's deaths, and as ambulances, firefighters and even the police scrambled to get to any survivors, many are left in puzzlement as to how this catastrophe happened and how it all started.

They did not notice that Auma is standing on the rooftop of Kyoto's tallest skyscraper with an unconscious Izumi levitating near him and he is looking own at the ground seeing the trail of destruction his "Armored Mages" left, and he is pleased that the first portion of his plans have worked, but then realized that there is one place he wanted to see get wasted, recalling about the United States Embassy being situated in Tokyo, and there he telepathically ordered some of the controlled citizens to head for Tokyo and reduce the embassy to rubble.

"My slaves...heed my command...here are my orders..and you will carry them out without fail"

In an instant, the controlled Kyoto citizens, who remained under Auma's control due to wearing the Wizardriver belt and magic rings, were instantly hypnotized in following Auma's words and they walked like people in a trance and leaves Kyoto by foot and head for Tokyo, and the number of controlled people amounted to at least 50, and with Kyoto authorities too busy with treating the injured from the earlier attack, they have no idea that Tokyo would be the next prefecture to suffer from Auma's perverted vendetta against the "West".

At Magic Land, Taiki and Tagiru are on the run as they are being pursued by the Armored Mages, who are riding on "flying brooms" and are firing energy beams from their magic rings and both teens managed to hide behind a huge boulder and remained hidden as the Mages flew around the area (they are currently in a forest with tall and thick trees), and Taiki is pondering on what to do next until Tagiru mustered the will power to ignore the pain he is in and glanced at the magic rings he is wearing, and as he glanced at his left hand, he slowly deduced that the magic ring on his left middle finger may be the key to help in their current predicament and tells Taiki to try it out.

"Taiki..."

"Hush, Tagiru...save your strength..."

"Listen carefully..."

"What is it...?"

"Use...the ring on your right hand...to activate the belt's powers..."

"And...?"

"The ring on your left hand...it'll activate your armor...place them...in front of the belt on your waist..."

"Tagiru..."

Seeing that the Mages have found them, and taking Tagiru's word for it, Taiki glanced at his left hand where a magic ring is placed on his middle finger and decided to take the risk and placed his hand in front of the Wizardriver that was fastened around his waist, and there he is surprised that magic has been activated and underwent a transformation into one of the "Armored Mages" as Tagiru hoped in getting a leverage against their pursuers.

Wizardriver: "CHANGE...NOW!"

Clad in the same armor as the other mages are wearing, Taiki decided to try it out as Tagiru told him that the magic ring on his right hand is used for offensive and defensive attacks and the senior Xros Heart member listened and went to battle as the mages began to attack Taiki and soon magic attacks became rampant as exchanges are made as Tagiru ducked behind the boulder to hid himself from his attackers' eyes.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION...NOW!"

At first Taiki is rattled as the offensive attacks get to him but he managed to evade the next wave and retaliated by using the same spell, only aiming for their flying brooms and the mages fell to the ground, and there Taiki got an idea and he waited for them to stand up and assembled in one area and he placed his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to summon another magic spell to commence his next plan of attack.

Wizardriver: "CHAIN...NOW!"

The Armored Mages are tied together in large, thick chains, and with them immobilized, Taiki again placed his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to execute another attack, and this time it went off without a hitch as Tagiru watches on as he sees this as a good way to leave the scene without problems.

Wizardriver: "YES...KICK STRIKE...UNDERSTAND?"

Taiki's right foot glowed with energy and he ran towards the binded Armored Mages and did a flying kick, and the move connected and the explosion sent the Armored Mages back and hurled against a tree and they reverted back to normal, and rendered unconscious. There Taiki took the opportunity to disarm them before throwing the items away and uses an explosion spell to destroy them before carrying Tagiru on his back and leaves the area before enemy reinforcements arrive.

"It worked..."

"Okay..."

"Now stay still...and rest."

"..."

"We need to find our way back to Kyoto...and get to the others..."

"Y-yeah..."

"So hang in there..."

"Okay..."

After some five minutes, Auma's forces arrived to see their comrades laid unconscious and there they commenced searching the area to find the prisoners, who already had a huge head-start as the teens are making their way around the area to find a way to get back to Kyoto, unaware of the events that are about to take place later within the day.

Back at Shibuya, the scene shifts to the Omokagedo Antique Shop where Takuya Kanbara arrived after getting an SOS message from Junpei and though they have no leads yet on who took Izumi, Junpei recalled having set the CCTV outside the shop and went to the counter to play the footage, and there they saw what happened earlier, in which Takuya is surprised to see the Gold Wizard harming Tomoki and Junpei before taking Izumi with him, and now the teen is concerned at what the enemy intends to do with her.

"Who...who is that guy?"

"I wish I could answer that question, Takuya..."

"..."

"Is that...is the White Wizard mention anything about that guy?"

"I...I think he did..."

"Perhaps you should try contacting him...that gold Wizard might be stronger than you..."

"Okay...but I better get going..."

"Be careful..."

Recalling the earlier attacks on Kyoto by the "Armored Mages", both Takuya and Junpei deduced that the mysterious Gold Wizard may have played a role in this and are now wondering where to go, and Takuya used his magic to summon his three small familiars - Uni-Mon, Garuda-Mon, and Krake-Mon - to head out and search the entire vicinity of Shibuya to find Izumi, and there Takuya took his leave as he too commences his search for her.

Later within the day, the scene shifts to Tokyo, and there you can see the area turned into a bloody war zone as the "Armored Mages" are attacking the American Embassy and even the police and the army are helpless as the Mages laid waste, flying on their flying brooms and used several magic spells on them, such as "Heat" and "Explosion". sending the army soldiers and the cops away and left them as bloody corpses, and even attacked innocent passerby who happened to be at the area.

Inside the embassy, its employees were not spared as they too met a bloody death as the "Armored Mages" used magic attacks to kill and dismember them, and within minutes they reached the American Ambassador, who pleaded to them to spare the employees but his pleas were ignored due to the mages being magically brainwashed, and they killed him before taking their leave, and within minutes the news was in broadcast all over the world.

At the Clock Shop, somewhere within Kyoto, Yuu, Akari, Nene, Kirihira, Ryouma, Ren and Airu were horrified at seeing the news footage of the Mages' attack on the American Embassy and the Clock Shop Owner wondered who is behind this but is considering the safety of the Xros Heart members and the Hunters, having seen how the Mages attack and right now he has no word yet on what has become of Taiki and Tagiru. Yuu and Nene are worried and wanted to go out and fight the Mages yet they are told that it is too dangerous due to being outnumbered, but Ren and Airu offered to help pointing out that they have the Wizardrivers and the magic rings.

"Let us help..."

"Yeah...to make up for what he did earlier..."

"Relax, you two...we know you were brainwashed into doing that..."

"But we really want to make up for what happened earlier..."

"Airu's right...we'll be needing their help on this..."

"Okay, then it's settled!"

"Let's go!"

"You got it...huh?"

However, the atmosphere became tense as the scene shows that the entire sky slowly went dark and as everyone looked out side, they noticed that an eclipse-like phenomenon has taken place, making it look like it was night time yet the actual time is now 15:00, and there the Clock Shop Owner noticed that a strange light is emanating from the tallest skyscraper, and soon several helicopters began to fly towards the skyscraper, among them a news crew and they finally caught a footage where it shows the Gold Wizard standing on the roof with an unconscious Izumi floating, in which it was broadcast live.

However, the Gold Wizard noticed this and places his right hand in front of the Wizardriver and casts a spell to deal with the helicopters, and the next scene shows what happened, that would cause everyone in japan to feel fear at what they witnessed from the TV screens.

Wizardriver: "BLAST...NOW!"

A strong gust of wind emanated from a magic circle and struck the helicopters, causing the two flying vehicles to lose control and collided, exploding before falling to the ground, burning several pedestrians on the spot, and the Gold Wizard began to perform a magic ritual as he intends to change Japan to his version of his liking, as strange lights began to lit and then it slowly formed what appeared to be a diamond-shaped field, and the citizens began to panic as they think that the "Apocalypse" is approaching.

By then Takuya Kanbara arrived after being informed the the national Security Agency's Section Zero about the footage of Izumi and the Gold Wizard at Kyoto, and the teen entered the building and went for the rooftop via the stairs, and feeling that time is running out, he uses his magic ring to summon a "Bind" spell a chain appeared and he uses it to pull himself up and he got faster until reaching the penthouse level, and by then he finally reached the rooftop where he sees Izumi being used in a ritual and the Gold Wizard is rather surprised to see the teen, and a brief exchange of words took place.

"You!"

"Ah...the so-called "ring-bearing Wizard"...an honor to meet you..."

"Are you...the Gold Wizard?"

"My, my...you knew about me already? I must compliment you on that..."

"You attacked my friends...then you took Izumi..."

"Yes, I did...and I have no qualms on that..."

"What are you going to do?"

"To change Japan...this country has gotten soft after surrendering to the "Allied Powers" after World War II...and I intend to change that..turn this weakened country into a "super power"...a japan that will rule all over the world...and not even that damn America can withstand the era I intend to make!"

Seeing where this lead to, Takuya placed his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to initiate his transformation into the "ring-bearing Wizard" and began charging towards the Gold Wizard, but the Gold Wizard simply blocked his way and engaged in a fight and surprised the teen that he is a very experienced fighter, repulsing him with kicks and punches while the ritual is ongoing and is halfway in towards it completion.

Okay...a lot of things happened here and it would soon spiral out of control...for the heroes and the villains. Taiki and Tagiru got captured, but managed to escape yet they are still trapped in the Magic Land and are going to find their way back to Kyoto unless they managed to outwit more of their pursuers.

Yuu, Akari, Nene, Kirihira and Zenjirou, and with Ryouma, Airu and Ren are assembled but they are waiting for the right time to strike yet with what is happening right now, they may have to rethink their options and plans on how to save Kyoto.

And Auma makes his move as he uses Izumi and intends to use her in a ritual, only for Takuya to intervene. Will Takuya stop this madman in time?

The next chapter will shift back to Magic Land as Taiki and Tagiru fights back against their pursuers in order to stay alive and make their way back to the real world, while in Kyoto, the Xros Heart and the Hunters brace themselves as something strange is about to happen in Japan while the scene shifts somewhere as the Digital Wizard and the Gold Wizard collide as Izumi is about to be used in a magic ritual that would affect Japan and the rest of the world.
