~Chapter 9~

Taylor's POV:

"Will you PLEASE sit down and shut the hell up?" I looked over at Bradifer. We had finally made it to... where ever we were. At the moment the two of us, and a couple other vampires, were standing around in a large ballroom. The walls were a creamy white with gold trim, the floor was tiled in a golden brown color, completely clean, even shining. Two sets of stairs led up the next floor, that lay behind in shadows. A glass chandilier hung from the center of the ceiling, sparkling from the dim light that came in from the windows by the red wood door. The sun was just starting to set, causing shadows to move across the room.

I slowly slid off of the vampire I had been climbing. A broad shouldered man with auburn hair and fair skin. A good looking man although... extremely tall. He just stood there as I walked over to Brad and sat down in one of the patches of light, and waited. Brad nodded his head in approval and stayed standing just a little ways away.

"What exactly are we doing?" I asked. Brad turned and glared at me.

"Just shut up and wait. You'll see when she gets here," He leaned against the wall and stuffed a hand into his pocket, the other twirling a small blade in his hand irritated. I sighed, deciding not to push my luck. I'm lucky that vampire didn't kill me for climbing all over him. I took in the other vampire beside him. She was female with stunningly long blond hair and blood red eyes. She could have passed as a model. Though it seemed she had better things to do then stand around guarding me. That didn't seem to make much sense. Why would I need two more guards when Bradifer was obviously strong enough to do it himself.

I kept my mouth shut and tried to find something to do cure my boredom with out getting myself in trouble. As time kept going I saw the other vampires stood leaning against the far wall keeping their eyes on me.

Aubrey's POV:

Arashi had picked up on her sent, leading us through the woods. It was in a darting pattern, so that vampire must have known that we were chasing them. As the sun began to set everyone became more anxious. I could feel Gaara's blood lust as the night carried on, even though Shakaku was taken out of him. I bet I was emitting something similar to that. Anger flashed through me, again and again, pushing me forward with out rest. Im sure everyone was getting tired, we'd been searching for hours. But we really couldn't do much without her with us. No one complained about a break.

The sun was painting the sky with oranges and pinks when we stopped in front of a large mansion. It was built with large grey stones and easily towered over us. It looked rather... enchanting, like it was from a fairytale. Arashi came to a stop about 700 feet away. The mansion stood in a open field surrounded by trees. Arashi and Kero changed back and we all hid in the shadows of the trees.

"I can smell her... She's inside..." Arashi growled out, head low to the ground, staring at the building before us. I shifted, pulling out a gun. I could feel the power leaking from the building, the aura that surrounded it reeked of blood and death. No doubt about it, this was a vampires coven, and its leader was very strong.

"If shes inside, then that's were we need to be too," I hissed looking around.

"Yeah but we cant just waltz right in like that..." Temari said looking at the front door. Kankuro stepped up and took his own look around.

"What if Gaara used his sand too look for her?" We all looked at him surprised.

"Kankuro... I didn't know you could be smart... It must be because your not wearing your make up," He glared at me for a moment before looking over at Gaara who already had some sand grounding up the earth to make more sand. He then sent it into the cracks of the walls. We all waited while Gaara made sand eye inside.

"What do you see?" I asked almost desperately after a few moments. He looked at me, one hand moving to cover his right eye.

"The place is swarming with Vampires. But they don't know we're here yet. I'm checking all the suitable-" He stopped talking for a minute and just seemed to be watching what was going on inside. After about ten minutes his sand reappeared.

"I found away in," was all he said as he darted forward, moving around the building stealthily. We all followed, staying to the shadows as much as possible. I was highly concerned on what he saw, but didn't ask. We had to get Taylor out first. Questions could be answered later...

Taylor's POV:

When the sun finally set all the way, and the moon was just appearing above the tree tops outside did she appear. Swirls of darkness spun around at the top of the stairs. A breeze wove its way around the room, lighting candles at adorned the walls all the way up to the second floor. When the shadows dispersed all that remained was the lighted candle and me who finally stood up from the ballroom floor. I looked up at the second floor. She stood there, wearing a red evening gown, slit up the side of her left thigh, revealing smooth pale legs.

She moved steadily down the stairs, hand just out brushing against the wall as she descended. When she landed on the platform in front of a brightly lit candle I could see her features fully. She resembled me in more ways then one. Same hair color and length, same eye color, same body structure. In fact she could have been me, excused by a few differenced. She moved to stand directly in front of me and I could see that her hair parted on the opposite side of mine, and her nose was dusted with freckles.

She reached out and stroked my cheek with her hand, sliding her fingers across my face. I shivered at her touch, body trembling from her warm hand.

"Mother always told me about what you must be like... I never dreamed we would meet... And that you would look just like me..." Her voice was soft, melodic, and yet... was strangely similar to mine as well. I reached up and placed a my hand on top of hers.

"Who are you?" I asked, looking into her eyes, that shined in the light of the candles.

"Im your twin sister, Veira,"
