Hello all! I am SUPER sorry for the length of time it took to write this part. I have been busy with injuries from Zumba and other "fun" things. I have recently celebrated my four year anniversary with my husband. I hope you all enjoy the story. I am going to try and speed the story along for everyone.

Elizabeth walked downstairs to see them talking. Niklaus paid no attention to her while Rebekkah glanced at her friend. They talked of a man being too powerful for them. Rebekkah wanted to leave, but Niklaus had other plans on his mind. The tension in the room was almost too much for her to stomach. He wanted to have more protection from their mother. Elizabeth walked downstairs and sighed softly. They were fighting again which usually left his sister crying and taking off. Now, like clockwork, the woman took off leaving them together.

"I expect you are going to leave me too," Klaus spoke cruelly as he stared at the boxes before him. One of his sired men was currently helping him move out. She bit her lip wondering what was going through his mind. He left her so many times before and now he needed her. She cleared her throat and took one more look at him.

"Elijah knows everything since he was in my dreams last night. I might as well stick with the one man that has been my downfall since the dawn of time," she spoke and turned on her heel. She wanted to be ready to get the 'Elena' woman once and for all. The woman's blood could make hybrids which would help them out in the long run. She grabbed her belongings and was ready soon after. He had a cocky look on his face. He knew he would always have a hold over her. No matter how much her brother tried to get in on her.

"All right, come along love, we have some things to pick up before our journey out of here," he spoke quickly and grabbed her hand leading her to the car. The drive wasn't too long, but she could feel the tension in the air. He pulled up in front of a house and smiled at her.

"They won't give her to me easily. I might need you as a distraction," he spoke before getting out of the car. She quickly followed behind him coming to the door. He knocked on the door rather loudly even causing Elizabeth to jump. He motioned for her to leave him be and soon two men answered the door. They told him that Elena wasn't there, but Klaus didn't believe them.

"Klaus, she isn't here can we please just go?" she whispered harshly to him. He gave her a glare and started to throw things at the house. She couldn't believe he threw a newspaper inside as the people inside yelled. Next he threw a ball along with a pair of fence posts through a door. He set another newspaper on fire and had a propane tank in his other hand.

"Klaus, stop!" she demanded grabbing the other side of the propane tank. The look in his eyes spoke of pure anger. The Salvatore brothers walked to the door asking for a truce. Elizabeth sighed in relief once Klaus dropped the propane tank and threw the newspaper aside. The men started to come up with a plan while her mind started to drift off about Elijah. She wanted to apologize for the way their dream ended last night.

"What the hell is she smiling about?" Damon asked drawing her attention back to reality. She blushed looking at the three men staring back at her. The car ride was quiet filled with tension coming from Stefan and Niklaus. They sent glares towards each other from the corners of their eyes. She sat in the back quietly once again thinking about Elijah. Niklaus was a mistake, a one time thing to let everything out of the air. Her thoughts were pushed aside once they pulled up inside the school parking lot.

There was that dangerous man from last night inside of the school. He had that blonde woman that had Niklaus heart and the Elena girl. She was always mentioned by people around here like some sort of celebrity. The two men started to banter back and forth while she sat at the tables waiting for a plan of action. She was supposed to wait out there while they were saving the two teenage girls.

In fifteen minutes, he was outside with Elena and none of the other vampires were with them. He sat her in the back seat and smiled at Elizabeth. Elena sat passed out in the back only moving when the car hit a bump in the road. It wasn't like Klaus gave her much of a choice even if she did wake up. He was driving at speeds of almost seventy miles an hour to get home. He grabbed Elena and rushed her inside his family home.

"What are you going to do to her?" she asked standing next to Niklaus. He smiled widely at her talking about a messed up plan of making people loyal to him and only him. His family and she were not loyal to him. Elizabeth bit her lip not sure how to take the news. She wasn't loyal to him? All those years of her going after him clearly didn't stay in his mind. A nurse from the local hospital came in to take her blood.

"This is insanity," she spoke quickly suddenly watching the woman set up the medical equipment to place in the unconscious girl. Niklaus turned to her seeing the red head about to defy him.

"You dare to defy me . . . In my own home!" he yelled the last part at her. She jumped yet tried to keep cool and collected. Her heart started to beat loudly. She was afraid of the angered vampire. She could go from right in front of him to being placed in a coffin in about ten seconds. The nurse stopped her work to stare at them.

"What? You are going to push me away to like you did to Bekka and Elijah?" she asked tears starting to form in her eyes. She didn't know how he could treat her like this. All the centuries of chasing after him and now it was happening once again. The look on his face remained stoic. She didn't know whether to continue on or keep quiet. She decided to push her luck.

"I chased after you for centuries hoping for you to one day love me like I loved you. I was just a pawn for you wasn't I? You never cared about me. I was just a great lay in bed and followed you around like a love sick puppy . . . Well no more," she growled and turned on her heel to walk out the door.

"You are wrong," he spoke with his usual smirk causing her to turn around. His playful demeanor suddenly became dark.

"You were never a good lay,"

The words stung her and she noticed the girl behind him starting to wake up from being poke with a sharp needle. She rolled her eyes not wanting to cry in front of him.

"Your fake family will never be loyal to you as I once was," she turned on her heel once more and walked out. She used her vampire speed to rush to her home. Tears poured down her cheeks blurring her vision. She wished she had never come back to this horrible place. She walked around her neighborhood not wanting to draw attention to herself. The apartment felt like a distant place to her now. Niklaus ruined this place for her.

Her phone started to ring loudly with Matt's name and number popping up on the screen. She cursed but quickly answered the phone. She didn't need to be in anymore trouble with her job.

"You need to get in here soon or you are going to lose your job," he spoke quickly and Elizabeth agreed to get in there. She took a short shower and put on her uniform walking downstairs to the car. The drive towards her job was short due to her reckless driving. Her boss was inside the store watching her closely but didn't seem to want to fire her. She smiled at him waving cutely causing him to close his office door.

Work made her forget about the things bothering her. Soon closing time was upon her and she was cleaning off the bar top. No one else was in the restaurant except the cleaning people which made her happy. She was given enough time to check her phone. She was getting a called from Rebekkah. She raised an eyebrow and decided to answer her phone.

"Hey is everything -?" she stopped upon hearing her old friend crying in the phone. The poor girl was sobbing loudly in the phone trying to muster to be able to speak to her.

"He is dead, Liz! They killed my brother," she was able to talk briefly as another round of sobs started to pour in from the distraught vampire. The feeling of emptiness and grief took her over. Elijah was dead. He was mad at her and now she could never make it right again. She could feel her bottom lip starting to tremble.

"Elijah?" she asked her voice cracking from being upset.

"No, they killed Klaus and they took his body. Elijah is coming back into town and we want you to join us in helping us find him. We need to bury my dear brother," she spoke and cleared her throat.

"I am outside your job. I can't be alone tonight," she hung up before Elizabeth could respond. She started to work faster and clocked out. She walked to her car and saw Rebekkah leaning against it.
