Ch10: Class Life! Black Orange Warrior! Apple Slicer!
Rai find himself walking alone through a fogging forest as he wasn't sure where he was.
"What is this place…?" Rai muttered.
"This place is somewhere you once know." An identical voice said as this made Rai's eyes went wide and he looks around frankly.
"Who is there?" Rai questioned.
Suddenly he saw what looks like a black armor figure covered in darkness and can't have a nostalgic feeling about him.
"Who are you?" Rai asked, can't help feeling something familiar about him.
"I am what you once was… a warrior who defended from the shadow." The shadow armored figure said.
"A shadow…?" Rai muttered in confusion.
The shadow armored figure point his finger at him. "But I warned you this… if you continued down this road, there is no going back." he warned.
(Reality)
The white hair teen wakes up immediately with sweats on his face as Rai awake from his bed.
"What in the world was that…?" Rai asked with surprised expression.
Rai take a deep breath before released it. He soon thinking about the dream he has as it unlike his dream about his family. There is something about the black armor warrior feel familiar to him even though they have the same voice.
I hope Kallen might helped me with some answers… Rai thought.
"Who exactly am I?" Rai asked confused to himself.
(Cue X.U by Sawano Hiroyuki)
(Instrumental) The screen opens up to show Lelouch and Zangetsu back-to-back as light covered the screen before changing to show Kallen, Suzaku, Orpheus, Rai, Euphemia and Nunnally before the screen was covered with vines and purple fruits.
(I don't want nobody to get killed) Lelouch was sitting on his Lancelot Club with his hands supporting his chin as rain heavily cascaded around him
(I'll come and get, I am always ready to fight) The screen changed to show Zangetsu sinking into a lake while another screen shows Ayano with a hand over her chest.
(Instrumental) Lockseeds appeared before they were seen scattering across the world.
(So don't take all of the blame) The scene showed the Black Knights in their headquarters.
(We're all as bad) The Britannian Military came into focus.
(Ah wait, don't take all of it away) Now different factions from across Earth flashed by.
(You always do) Armored figures showed up in the darkness, the only lights being their visors.
(We'll always be something you cannot control) In the shadows, a flame-shaped head was flanked by two Riders with unique bows.
(We will overcome – Your salvation has begun) Deep in the forest of Helheim, a white creature wielding a Zanbato was leading an army of Inves.
(No suns, no lights) Lelouch was looking to the side before changing to Ayano doing the same thing.
(Such a mess all over) The screen changed to show Lelouch and Ayano holding their hands out to each other.
(Don't kill your hopes) Now CC was standing on an embedded Musou Saber as wind blew through her hair and clothes.
(You make me realize who I need) The screen changes to show Lelouch looking up with a determined glare before he is encased in his Zangetsu armor.
(I'll be there, hold on) Zangetsu charged forward slashing the Shika Inves with his sword
(But it changes somehow) Ryugen fired at Inves and Britannian soldiers alike.
(So where are you now) Zangetsu and Ryugen jumped into the air and performed their Rider Kicks.
(I'll reach you, my darling) Baron pierced an Inves with the Banaspear before cutting two more in half.
(The shadows of the earth) Gaim slashed an Inves with his dual blades before combining both in a wide, area-clearing sweep.
(Illusions so bright) Baron and Gaim charged into a mixed army of Britannia soldiers and Inves.
(They're falling just to run – let them know-) Now the Riders watched as both the Black Knights and Britannia launched all-out Knightmare Frame attacks
(When it's the pain that makes us so human after all) Leila was watching the battle as the rest of her force joins in the battle.
(Toward city, a border patrol) Lelouch kept walking alone in the city, strange plants growing behind his trail.
(1000 precious words, just to start with a spark) The camera turned to Zangetsu and others helping each other fighting the Inves before Zangetsu charged forward and clashed with the white figure swords-first, sparks blinding the screen for a bit.
(To the core) Soon Zangetsu, Baron, Ryugen, and Gaim appeared as the title page appeared.
(Ashford Academy)
Everyone were talking to each other before the teacher walking into the class with a slight tired look on her face.
"Everyone, it seem we have another student that will be transfer into our class… make sure to welcome her here." The teacher said.
Walking into the class is none other than Ayano in an Ashford school uniform as Suzaku's emerald green eyes wide immediately.
It can't be her, couldn't it? Suzaku thought in shocked. Even other students except Lelouch seem to be quiet by her appearance.
"She have been granted permission to attend the Academy by the Dean himself." The teacher said in a calm tone. "Care to introduce yourself?" she asked.
"My name is Alice Winston." The black hair girl introduced herself. "I hope we could get along." She said.
A…A Japanese here? Kallen thought dumbfounded. Even though this girl using a Britannian name, she could tell that she is Japanese by her look.
"Alice, that boy is Lelouch Lamperouge, the student boy vice-president. He'll be the one showing you around the campus." The teacher said. "Will you?" she asked to the seemed lazy Vice President.
Lelouch nodded. "Of course." He said.
Ayano turns her attention toward her childhood friend with a bright smile. Lelouch led her over to seats in the back where he usually sat alongside Rivalz, the boy in question currently staring at the black hair girl with strange look. He could feel the two have a connection with each other.
Is it just me or… do they know each other? Rivalz thought confused. He might want to talk with Lelouch later about it.
It looks like everything work smoothly… I didn't have to worry about Ayano being discovered while stay with us unlike a certain witch I knew... Lelouch thought to himself. It's also a good thing that Ayano knows how to picks up English during her times in the E.U. in order to blend here.
Soon the teacher started the lecture and everyone taking down notes as usually before lunchtime started. When the class broke for lunch, Lelouch takes Ayano with him out of class for the tour of the academy. It wasn't long until they reach the rooftop as the two childhood friends sighed in relief.
"How are you feeling?" Lelouch asked.
"I can get why you got bored from listening to an hour lecture about how great Britannia was and sleep." Ayano remark sarcastically.
"I don't actually sleep in class." Lelouch countered. This made Ayano giggled.
Soon Suzaku came out of the rooftop as he saw the pair talking with each other. Ayano turn and saw the familiar Japanese boy walking toward them.
"Lelouch, is that who I think it is?" Suzaku asked wary.
"Who else do you think?" Ayano remarked. "It's been a long time, baka." She added in Japanese.
This causes Suzaku's eyebrow twitching at the familiar nickname that the young girl once call him. "Oh… that nickname." Suzaku groan. "Where have you been all this time?" he asked.
"The E.U…" Ayano said.
"What was like there…?" Suzaku asked.
"Depressing especially how they treated us… my grandfather die because of them." Ayano answered.
This cause Suzaku's eyes soften. "I am sorry about your loss…" he said. He never would guess his fellow kinsmen were suffering there. "But how did you meet up with Lelouch?" he asked.
"We bumped into each other." Lelouch answered.
"But how did you ends up in Ashford Academy…?" Suzaku asked.
"I have connection with the Dean and helps her." Lelouch answered.
Suzaku looks surprised at his friend, "Are you sure it a good idea?" he asked.
"I don't have any regrets and Nunnally is happy that she is here." Lelouch said.
"Is that so…?" Suzaku asked. Since Nunnally is okay with Ayano being here, he should be as well.
"How is your cousin doing?" Ayano asked.
"Umm… I am not sure since none of my family made contact with me in a long time." Suzaku recalled.
"I see…" Ayano muttered.
Rivalz soon come up the rooftop and approach them. "Hey buddy, how is the tour for the new kid doing?" he asked.
"It going great." Lelouch answered.
Rivalz then looks at Ayano. "It's nice to meet you, Alice. My name is Rivalz Cardemonde." He introduced as he offered his hand.
"It's nice to meet you, Rivalz." Ayano said, shaking his hand affirm.
"So Alice, have you decided what club you're going to join?" Rivalz asked.
"I do?" Ayano asked slight surprised. Suzaku and Rivalz nodded.
"Don't worry… I already taken care of the arrangement." Lelouch said.
(Later at Student Council)
"Hello, my name is Alice Winston." Ayano said.
"President, I would like Alice to joins the Student Council since she still knowing her way around Ashford Academy." Lelouch requested.
"Well, I can't deny a request from my Vice President… So welcome aboard, Miss Winston." Milly said before rise her hand toward other Student council members. "Here are the other members of our little group. Care to introduce yourself." She said.
"I am Rai."
"Kallen Stadfeld."
"I'm Shirley Fennette. Nice to meet you."
"The quiet one over at the computer is none other than Nina Einstein." Milly added.
"H-Hi…" Nina said quietly.
"I already know Suzaku and Rivalz since they come talk with us…" Ayano said before her eyes noticed pictures of Zangetsu on the wall especially the newspaper. "What are these pictures?" she asked.
"They're photos of the infamous individual known as Kamen Rider Zangetsu. You heard of the Black Knights, right?" Milly asked.
Ayano nodded. "I heard he is big on the news." She said. Even though she knew Zangetsu is in this room.
"Indeed. That is why the Student Council is also known as the Kamen Rider Zangetsu club. It's our goal to find out who he is and I can finally unmasked my mysterious handsome savior…" Milly said with dreamily expression.
Lelouch felt a chill down on his behind before noticing Ayano giving him a dark look on her face. This causes the raven hair teen to shiver.
"I-Is there something wrong, Alice?" Lelouch asked, slight nervous tone.
"There is…" Ayano said with a hint of dangerous tone. "Why didn't you told me about this club before?" She isn't expect to deal with Lelouch having fanclub even as a Rider!
"Umm… it sort of slips my mind." Lelouch said, nervous. But it doesn't changed Ayano's dangerous expression toward him.
Why is Ayano mad at Lelouch after learning of Milly's club for Zangetsu? Suzaku thought confused as he looking at their behavior. He could swear the look resembled jealous…? It doesn't make any sense as to why Ayano be jealous of Milly's crush on Zangetsu and glared at Lelouch for.
If only Suzaku knows the real reason why Ayano looks at Lelouch for, then he would be one step closer to figure out the white samurai's identity. But that won't be today.
"Is something the matter, Alice?" Shirley asked.
"It's nothing." Ayano answered.
(With Orpheus)
Orpheus was taking a break after practicing firing rounds at trees before he felt something strange.
"Why did I felt like I missed the chance to tease Lelouch?" Orpheus wondered out loud as he looking around before he shrugged.
He soon picks up the Budou Lockseed from his pocket and looks at it. He can't help think back to when he and Euria find this lock and strange belt that changed their life.
(Flashback- few years ago)
A younger Orpheus breath heavily after he and his friend finally managed to flee from their pursuers by hiding themselves in the woods.
"You think we lost them?" his female companion Euria asked.
"Yeah… no doubt he will be upset at his lackeys to reported failure." Orpheus said with sarcasm.
Orpheus never want to go back to the hellish place again. The place lead by a psycho mind man in a body of a child.
But there is one good thing out of being in the Order, meeting Euria who is forced to endure the same treatment after being kidnapped from her parents at young ages.
"So what do we do now, Orpheus?" Euria asked.
"I doubt either of us could return to our families since Midget boss might do something to them with Geass." Orpheus said sadly.
Euria takes his hand with hers and hold it. "But… as long as I'm with you… I'll be fine," Euria assured.
Orpheus smiled at her, both of them are happy to finally escaped from the hellhole they were trapped for who knows how long.
Orpheus soon takes out something that he find while they were escaping from the hellhole. It was a black bucket with a knife like switch and a lock with a picture of grape on it.
"You still trying to figure out what that is?" Euria asked.
"I never seen it before… do you think it could be a new weapon created by him?" Orpheus asked.
"I am not sure… but I guess we should be glad it wasn't in his hand." Euria said.
Orpheus looks at the strange buckle before he placed it on his waist. Suddenly a yellow belt formed around his waist and the faceplate lit up.
"Whoa… I didn't see that coming." Orpheus said.
Suddenly they heard a bestial roar before a creature they never seen try to ambush them, but Euria grabbed Orpheus and rolled to the side as they got a better look at their attacker.
It looks like a cross between a human and a vampire bat with the main colors are red and black.
"What in the world…" Euria said with disbelief.
'Could he send this after us?' Orpheus thought. But he never seen something like this before.
The bat like monster suddenly unleashed a sonic blast from its mouth and fired at the two. This caused the two covered their ears immediately before they were blown backward.
"Hang on, Euria!" Orpheus shout before pressed the button on his lock.
"BUDOU!"
"Is that a grape above your head?" Euria asked.
Orpheus looks up above his head and indeed saw a metallic grape above him with confused expression. He then looks at the Inves and locked the Lockseed into his Driver.
"LOCK ON!"
Suddenly they could heard Chinese music in the background before Orpheus try to figure out what to do next. Orpheus then pushed down the Cutting Blade on his Driver.
"HAI~!"
"BUDOU ARMS! RYOU HOU, HA-HA!"
The Budou Arms dropped on his body and morphed his body into Ryugen with his weapon in hand. Both Orpheus and Euria look completely shocked at the strange transformation now.
"Whoa! What the heck!?" Orpheus, now Ryugen exclaimed, looking shocked at himself.
(Present)
"Yo, are you still dwelling in the past, Orpheus?" A familiar voice asked as he know the voice almost anywhere.
Orpheus turn his eyes and saw a familiar headband man nearby. "What is the visit, Sagara?" he asked. He knows the man often shows up with useful advices before.
"I take you're aware of Lelouch's new Knightframe?"
"Yeah, I know it was from you." Orpheus pointed out. "Since no Knightframes could be used with our suit…" he said.
"That is why I am here to deliver this." Sagara said, tossed something to Orpheus.
Orpheus caught in his hand and looks at it with surprised expression before looking back at Sagara. "So this is your way of even the board, huh." He said. "Though I am curious about who will be your next victims?"
"Hohoho… I can't revealed it. But I hope you enjoy your new friend..." Sagara said with a smirk.
(With Akito)
Akito is doing some morning pushups in his room for couple of minutes before getting himself back up. He hears some vibrating from his phone and picks it up as he read the message from Lelouch.
"A Rider in black and pink sneaking around the E.U. Knowing anything about it?" Akito read the text message on his phone.
Akito then think back to a strange incident some time ago. He comes across an enemy he never seen before.
(Flashback)
Kamuro soon landed on the ground after finished of several Inves crawling on the street and he turns to see a large explosion nearby.
"What in the world?" Kamuro muttered before he decides to go and investigating.
He soon find what looks like wrecks of abandoned mansion before he hears some moving as he spotted a black-pink Rider he never seen before.
"Who in the world are you?" Kamuro questioned, points his staff at Jam.
"Oh? So you're the Rider of this nation…" The newcomer said. "But I am on a personal business, if you let me pass."
But Kamuro didn't response as he felt the malic presence from Jam. This isn't someone he consider trustworthy with evil aura.
"Even if you sound like a kid, I can sense something dangerous about you." Kamuro said before charging at him.
But Jam got out his Daidaimaru to protect himself before flanking Kamuro backward. But Kamuro get himself a few feet away from Jam before summoned silver like fireballs and delivered at him.
"That is interesting…" Jam said before pushing down his Cutting Blade.
"DARKNESS AU LAIT!"
Suddenly dark apple orbs appears around Jam before he send them to countered Kamuro's attacks as the attacks collided with each other. But Kamuro charged forward from the smoke and push Jam to the wall with his staff.
Before he could do that, Bujin Gaim kicked him away and fired his Musou Saber at him.
But Kamuro spins his staff to deflect the shots before he takes cover at nearby wall. He take a deep breath before coming out… to find Jam isn't around.
'No, the dark presence is still here…' Kamuro thought serious to himself.
"Ha!" Jam said as he jumped down from a building with his swords ready. Kamuro moved out of the way as Jam landed on the ground. Kamuro tried to strike with his staff but Jam already blocked the attack.
"Ho… you're good." Jam compliment before he flung Kamuro away. Jam combined his Daidaimaru and Musou Saber together into Naginata mode then pushed down his Cutting Blade.
"DARKNESS SQUASH!"
He suddenly send a massive orb at Kamuro and hits him immediately. Just before Jam could relax, he felt an intense aura from the smoke and hear growl sound as a silver blur charged at him.
"What!?" Jam looks completely shocked before he dodges the attacks. "This feeling… It can't be."
But Jam doesn't want to waste his time and got out two Lockseeds from his bag as he summoned two Shika Inves to his side.
"You two… take care of silver here." Jam said as the Inves grunted and charged at Kamuro.
Kamuro let out a growl at the new challenges in front of him. But it wasn't long until Kamuro finished them off, he looks around and spot no sights of the strange Rider.
"Kisama…" Kamuro said before closing his Lockseed and reveal his original form. "Who was he?"
(Present)
The blue hair Japanese couldn't believe he need the curse to keep up with the mystery Rider.
Looks like Lelouch have a similar encounter with that Rider too, Akito thought to himself before send a text message back to the white Rider.
Unknown to him, Leila peeking through the tiny open through Akito's door. She was passing through hallway when she overheard Akito.
Akito is investigating of a Rider in E.U.? Leila thought confused. She never would guessed Akito expressed any interest in the Kamen Riders.
Suddenly Leila got away from the door as Akito come out of there and he noticed her. "Commander, is there something wrong?" he asked.
"I-It's nothing, Lt. Hyuga." Leila said. She doesn't know the whole story, but she knows something is up with Akito. This isn't the right time to ask. She is going to wait for the right time to confront him.
(With Rai)
After the welcoming party for their new student member, Rai decides to take a walk around the school ground. He doesn't have any problems with the new student even though he does noticed how closes she was toward Lelouch.
But it wasn't until he noticed a strange plant growing near the garbage area.
"What is this?" Rai asked.
"It a flower from Helheim." The white hair teen turn around and saw Kallen standing next to him.
"You mean the forest you went to?" Rai asked curious. Kallen nodded.
"If there is one here, then a Crack should be around here…" Kallen said with a serious expression. They look further to see a Crack leading to Helheim.
"So that is a Crack…" Rai mutter, approaching to get closer and looks at it.
Kallen is trying to debates about whether or not to make contact with Lelouch about a Crack here before she saw Rai steps into the portal.
"Rai, you shouldn't go in there!" Kallen said as she goes after him. She send a text message to Lelouch on the phone before going after the white hair teen.
Rai looks around and saw a waterfall next to him. Before he could continue any further, he noticed something on the ground and picks it up.
"This is…" Rai muttered.
"Rai, there you are!" Kallen said before noticed what in his hands. "A Driver!? Where did you find it!?"
"I am not sure… but something is familiar about them…" Rai muttered to himself.
As the two were looking at the object in Rai's hands, they were unaware that the Crack started to closing up slowly before vanished.
(With Lelouch)
Lelouch is in a situation he is trying to avoid especially his childhood friend won't let him get off the hook that easily.
"Come on, Lelouch! You can't just skip the class just because you don't like it!" Ayano said, struggling her grips on Lelouch's arm.
"There is no way I am going!" Lelouch protest.
"Come on! You need it because you're failing PE class!" Ayano said. She isn't surprised by Lelouch skipping PE class since he did skip out on Todoh's training class.
"My answer is still no!" Lelouch gritting his teeths. "Let go off me!" Before he pulled his arms with more force.
Ayano wasn't expecting Lelouch to pull her as both of them fall onto the ground immediately as the two ended up in awkward position.
"Oww…" Ayano groan as she regained her sense before her face heated up. She was on top of Lelouch right now.
Lelouch have a similar reaction as he noticed how close their noses to each other. This caused both of them to blush immediately.
Before they could reacted, their peace soon shatter.
"Hey Lelouch, there you are… EEEHHH!?" A familiar voice shrieked as this made Lelouch and Ayano turns around to see Suzaku and Rivalz.
"Whoa, buddy…. I never know you are make move on the new kid." Rivalz whistled. This cause them to blush hard immediately.
"T-This isn't what it looks like!" The two defended themselves before getting themselves back up.
"Oh really? You guys look like you're going to make out…" Suzaku said, can't help smirk. If Britannia didn't come conquer Japan, then those two would be a cute couple.
"You two do look good with another…" Rivalz agreed, teasing the two.
"We aren't like that!" They exclaimed, flustered. Especially Lelouch is angry at Suzaku trying to make fun of him.
"You can't lying when you just blush!" Suzaku stated with serious.
Suddenly there is a flash in front of them as they saw Rivalz with a camera.
"You know Nunnally will be really pleased that his brother finally got a girlfriend… You better not make her an early aunt." Suzaku said, with faking sobbing.
"Suzaku…" Ayano growl with angry, clenching her fists tightly. "You stupid numbskull…"
"Rivalz, give me your camera or else…!" Lelouch said with demonic aura. This cause the two boys to start running from the two.
"Rivalz, make sure Lelouch doesn't catch you or your camera!" Suzaku said.
"Don't lost your manhood, Suzaku!" Rivalz shout at the same time.
"Get back here, Rivalz!" Lelouch shout. The raven hair teen is focused on tracking down Rivalz, he is unaware that his cellphone is vibrating.
Unknown to them, a certain girl watched the scene while gritting her teeths in angry.
(Back in Helheim)
Rai and Kallen continued looking around the forest. But Kallen is bother by the fact that Lelouch haven't appeared yet.
Lelouch haven't response back yet… Kallen thought to herself before placing on her Sengoku Driver.
"So how does it work?" Rai asked, showing the Sengoku Driver.
"Just place on your waist, but word of warning: once you put on, it will stay locked to you until your death." Kallen warned with serious expression. "If you ate one of the fruits here, I will have to kill you." She added with cold expression.
"I-I see…" Rai gulped but they soon heard movements and saw Elementary Inves right behind them. Kallen quickly pulled Rai away and kicked the Inves away. She immediately got her Lockseed out and opened it.
"Henshin!"
"BANANA!"
Yellowish-energy beams appeared above her before merging to make her giant Banana. Kallen quickly do her pose before placing the Lockseed in and locking it.
"LOCK ON!"
The redhead pushed down the Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
Her fruit landed and unfolded to armor, revealing Baron and her Banaspear appeared in her hand. She spins her Banaspear around and start slashing at the Inves.
When she saw three Inves were about to attack them from the right, Baron pushed down her Cutting Blade once.
"COME ON! BANANA SQUASH!"
Baron's Banaspear glow with yellow energy before she thrust her spear forward and stabbed the Inves before they all fall to the ground immediately.
Rai then looks back at the blank Sengoku Driver in his hands then at Baron just finished the Inves. Before he could response, he hears strange voices nearby and followed them carefully.
"Kallen, we aren't the only ones here." Rai said to his friend.
They spotted people in hazamat suits picking up Lockseeds or taking notes.
"What is going on?" Rai asked.
"Hmm… The only thing I know if people are here, then there are Riders from other parts of globe involved." Baron guessed from Zangetsu's account.
"So what do we do?" Rai asked.
Baron didn't bother with answer as she came out of her hiding place and went up to the hazamat people now.
"Excuse me, but what are you doing in this forest!?" Baron questioned angrily. "You aren't welcome here!"
Instead of answering, the hazamat people soon turn and start running from her. Before Baron could even pursued them, a white blur get in her way immediately and slashed her back.
"Gaaahh!" Baron let out a cried when she got hit in pain.
"What do we have here?" Jam questioned, looking at Baron. "An intruder…"
"So I was right…" Baron growl, getting herself back up. "But I am surprised it a kid…" Baron mused.
This seem to infuriate Jam before come charging at her with his pink colored Daidaimaru. But Baron blocked the attack in time, Jam then takes out Musou Saber from his side and slashes Baron with furious slashes as she been pushed back even further.
"Kallen!" Rai said before looking at the blank Driver in his hands. He then makes his decision immediately after placing it on his waist.
Suddenly a yellow belt form around his waist and a faceplate materialized immediately. He then takes out a fruit before seeing it transformed into a Lockseed with black orange on the front.
Rai suddenly jumps out of the bushes and step in front of Baron.
Jam suddenly stop immediately as he saw Rai. "You…" he said with disbelief.
"I won't let you harm my friend!" Rai said with angry tone, activating his Lockseed.
"BLACK ORANGE!"
Suddenly dark energy appears above Rai and materialized into black metallic orange before he insert the Lockseed into the Driver.
"LOCK ON!"
"Henshin!" Rai shout before pushing down the Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! BLACK ORANGE ARMS! KURO MICHI ON STAGE!"
Suddenly the black metallic orange dropped onto Rai's shoulders before he transformed into a black and silver version of Bujin Gaim. This is Kamen Rider Yami Gaim.
"Rai…" Baron muttered in disbelief.
Yami Gaim charge forward and slash Jam with his black Daidaimaru before unleashed extra hits on Jam. "Never thought we will crossed path again… Black Samurai." Jam chuckled before counter with his own Daidaimaru as the two crossed with another.
Suddenly Baron jumped into the fight and thrust forward her Banaspear to prevent Jam from using his Musou Saber. Baron then looks at Yami Gaim who standing next to her.
"Baron, are you alright?" Yami Gaim asked to his friend.
"I am fine… It time we teach this little boy a lesson." Baron answered.
"I am thinking of the same thing." Yami Gaim agreed, getting out his own Musou Saber. "This is going to be our stage now!" he declared.
Jam gives him a mean look. "That give more reason of killing you…" Jam said.
(Back at Ashford Academy)
Lelouch and Ayano hurry to the place where Kallen sent the text message.
"Are you sure it was around here?" Ayano asked to Lelouch.
"That is what she send the message to me… but she and Rai might got out of there." Lelouch said.
"I see…" Ayano said.
Lelouch looks around the area before stare back at Ayano. "Can you look around for more clues, I need to check on something, Ayano." Lelouch said quietly. Ayano nodded.
While Lelouch went off to somewhere, Ayano start checking on the area for any clues related to the Crack appeared here.
She did find a small Helheim plant growing and picks it up here. "They were definitely here…" she muttered.
Suddenly Ayano felt someone's eyes upon her and turns around as she spotted Shirley. But she can't help feeling there is something odd about the orange hair girl.
"Hello Shirley," Ayano said. "What are you—?"
"Stay away from my Lulu…" Shirley said cold as this made Ayano looks surprised.
From what Lelouch told her about Shirley, she is a really good friend toward him and Nunnally. But she never thought Lelouch be oblivious to her crush on him.
"Lulu? There is nothing going on between us! Lelouch doesn't belong to anyone." Ayano protested. "Other than Nunnally." She corrected herself.
But that doesn't puts down Shirley's suddenly increase of jealousy either. "I know him longer before you came along!" Shirley said before taking out— A Sengoku Driver!
"You got to be kidding me…" Ayano muttered with disbelief expression. "Don't use that!" she pleaded.
Shirley places the Sengoku Driver on her waist as the faceplate lit up immediately, showing a red mask figure. She then takes out a Lockseed similar to Akito's except this one is red with gold lines.
"RINGO!"
Suddenly a Crack opens above Shirley's head as a large metallic red apple appeared above her head. Shirley locked the Lockseed into the Driver and pushed down the Cutting Blade.
The top half of had apple core imagery while the bottom half held a shield and sword.
"COME ON!"
The red metallic apple landed on Shirley's shoulders before forming the bodysuit - black with a silver quilted top. The gauntlets and greaves were red. Shirley's head was soon covered by a black helmet with a red face guard before the blank visor turned yellow. The Arms then snapped open, beginning to form armor. The top and back unfolded onto her back. The sides folded together to let colored paneled spikes form her shoulder armor. The front folded onto her chest, but then the two panels of the apple's 'skin' split apart, revealing her red chest plating. In her hands were a sword and shield with apple features – the Sword Bringer and Apple Reflector.
"RINGO ARMS! DESIRE FORBIDDEN FRU~IT!"
Idunn withdrew her Sword Bringer and charged at Ayano immediately. But Ayano snapped out of her shock immediately and jumps over her with ease.
Damn it… I bet Lelouch won't expected his own friend have a Driver! Ayano thought with serious expression.
"Wait! I don't want to fight you!" Ayano shout as she continued dodging Idunn's attacks. She could easily predicted the next moves since Idunn have lack of fighting experience.
However, the next attack Idunn unleashed, Ayano barely survived the scratch as a small scar form on her face immediately and she turn as she start running.
"Get back here!" Idunn shout.
Unknown to them, C.C. is watching from above the rooftop with an amusing look.
"Well, it looks like Melon Boy is going to be in a tight decision soon." C.C. remarked, watching the scene from afar.
(Back with Baron and Yami Gaim…)
Jam then spun around, he slashing the two Riders in the process as they were send flying backward.
Before Jam could even finished them off, they heard bestial cries as they saw Inves coming at them.
"Shit…" Jam cursed before looking at both of them. "You two are lucky this time." He said before leaving immediately.
Yami Gaim regain his focus and noticed Jam flee. "Wait!" he shout.
"Rai, look out!" Baron shout as she pushing Yami Gaim down with her to dodge an incoming attack from an Inves.
"I owe you one, Kallen." Yami Gaim said.
"Then let's get rid of these bastards…" Baron growl. Yami Gaim nodded.
Baron spins around her Banaspear and smacking down more Inves immediately.
"Then I guess I have no choice but using his Arms…" Baron muttered as she take out the Kiwi Arms.
"KIWI!"
Suddenly the Kiwi Arms form above her head as she swipes the Lockseeds from her belt. Baron then pushed down the Cutting Blade to slices her Lockseed.
"COME ON! KIWI ARMS! GEKI, RIN! SEI-YA HA!"
She soon donned the Kiwi Arms immediately with the Kiwi GekiRin before spins around to slashing down the Inves immediately.
Baron then dashed towards the Inves and slashed them before following up with another in a deadly spin. Sparks flew as the weapons hurt the Inves. Ryugen swung widely stunning the group of Inves from going forward, "It ends here!" She shouted, slicing her Lockseed twice.
"COME ON! KIWI AU LAIT!"
Both Kiwi Gekirins glowed bright green before he swung at the Inves who surrounded her making a trial of light that formed a holographic kiwi slice before the Inves screeched in pain, destroying them.
Yami Gaim charge forward and slash the Inves with both of his swords before pulling the trigger of the Musou Saber to shot down several Inves.
He soon noticed his Daidaimaru have a hole in the hilt before looking at his Musou Saber as Yami Gaim connected both of them.
"Whoa… This is cool." Yami Gaim mused before he spins his weapon around and start slashing down more Inves.
One Inves recovered and tried to hit him with its claw, but Yami Gaim blocked its attack with his Musou Naginata and kicked it in the gut before slashing it twice. He then twirled his weapon above his head and sent the Inves sprawling with a powerful slash. He then saw the last of Inves horde coming at his direction and he know he shouldn't drag this too long before more coming.
Yami Gaim removed the Black Orange Lockseed from his Driver and locked it into his Musou Saber.
"LOCK ON! 1-0-0-0!"
"This is the end…!" Yami Gaim twirled his combined weapon above his head before he slashed it at the incoming Inves.
"BLACK ORANGE CHARGE!"
An orange slice-like energy arc fired from the Musou Naginata's Daidaimaru part as he slashed and cut through the Inves' rank with ease, their bodies exploding as his attack went through them like a hot knife on butter.
"How did you do that?" Baron asked, coming closer to him.
"I am not sure… I guess it my instinct." Yami Gaim said.
"But…" Baron studied his armor, "Whoever heard of black orange?" she asked.
"I don't know, but I like the suit." Yami Gaim said.
But who was that guy? And why do I felt like he know me from somewhere? Yami Gaim thought to himself.
"Before we leave, I need to show you something." Baron said.
"What is it?" Yami Gaim inquired.
"A trial. Since you're a Rider, you need to know what at stake if the Black Knights have any hope of winning." Baron said.
"I understand…" Yami Gaim said.
(Back with Ayano)
Ayano continued running from her pursuer before Idunn choose to throws her Apple Reflector at her to stop her in her track.
"Look out!" A familiar male voice shout before pushing Ayano down on the ground. Ayano turns and saw Lelouch next to her.
"Take you long enough, baka…" Ayano said.
"Sorry about the wait, Ayano." Lelouch apologized. If he didn't arrive any sooner, Ayano will get herself killed by the new Rider.
"Lulu…" Idunn whispered in disbelief.
But Lelouch hears her voice and his eyes wide. He recognized the voice almost anywhere despite she wear her Rider armor.
"S-Shirley…?" Lelouch said with shocked and hesitated tone. "Why are you attacking her?"
"I know it!" Idunn growl with angry. "How can you be in a relationship with someone like her than me?!"
"W-What did you just say?" Lelouch looks shocked and dumbfounded.
"Buddy, I am going to translate what she says. She. Is. Jealous. In romance terms." Club said to his partner.
Lelouch get what his Knightframe partner meant before he cursed himself. Why the hell I didn't even see this!? The raven hair teen thought to himself.
"Get out of my way, Lulu…" Idunn demands.
"But why are you going through this, Shirley?!" Lelouch questioned angrily. "If you dirt your hand now, there is no going back!" he said with a serious expression.
"Is that she is the reason why you won't accept my feelings?" Idunn asked, pointed her Sword Bringer at Ayano.
"Even if you are my friend, I won't let you harm her…" Lelouch said, got out his Sengoku Driver and places on his waist.
"That Driver…. Impossible…" Idunn said in disbelief.
Lelouch got out his Melon Lockseed.
"MELON!"
Suddenly the Melon Arms appeared above Lelouch as he throws the Lockseed into the air before catching it.
"Henshin…!" Lelouch shout.
"SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
The Melon Arms descend down onto his shoulders before transforming him into Zangetsu as his Melon Defender appears in his hand.
This made Idunn step back slowly. "No… Lulu is… Lulu is Zangetsu?" she can't comprehend what she just witness right now.
Zangetsu withdrew his Musou Saber and charges at Idunn and slash her immediately as sparks flying in the air before attacking again. But Idunn takes out her Apple Reflector and protected herself from his attack.
Why? Why is Lulu a Kamen Rider especially the one lead the Black Knights!? Idunn thought confused.
"W-Wait, Lulu! I don't want to hurt- Because I love you!" Idunn said.
But Zangetsu didn't response as he suddenly disappear in front of Idunn to caused her to look completely shocked before she got slashed in the behind by Zangetsu himself.
"Then why do you have to hurt someone!? How do you think Nunnally and others felt if you take someone else's life!?" Zangetsu questioned with angry as this causes Idunn to look shocked.
But Idunn to get herself back up and gripping her Sword Bringer tightly as she charged back at Zangetsu. But Zangetsu is quick enough to dodges the attack and slashing Idunn again. Idunn turn around and throws her Apple Reflector at Zangetsu.
But Zangetsu pushed down his Cutting Blade once before throws his Melon Defender.
"SOIYA! MELON SQUASH!"
Both Shields knocked each other off course, but Zangetsu charge at Idunn with his Musou Saber glowing with bright green aura as he slashing her several times in the chest.
Idunn dropped to the ground immediately before her transformation just canceled on its own and reverts her back to her original form.
Zangetsu walk slowly toward her with his Musou Saber in his hand.
Shirley opens her eyes up slowly and look at Zangetsu. "Lulu… I just wanted you to notice me…" Shirley said quietly.
"I… I…" Zangetsu muttered before raising his Musou Saber up before bring it down on Shirley.
(Later…)
Ayano opened the door to Lelouch's secret garage before seeing Club in front of her.
"Is Lelouch here?" Ayano asked quietly.
Club nodded. "He doesn't want to be disturbed in his research room. But something tell me that your presence might calm him down." The Knightframe spoke, pointed to the door nearby.
Ayano nodded before she approached the door and knocked softly. "Lelouch, it's me…" she said.
But she only hearing sobbing noise behind the door and slowly opened it quietly.
To find Lelouch crying by himself on the chair.
"Lelouch…" Ayano said before come closer…
"Ayano… I'm sorry. I didn't meant to get you involved." Lelouch said soft.
"It wasn't your fault, Lelouch." Ayano countered. "Neither of us would know she is going to be like this."
"If I have been smarter enough to pieces together about Shirley's feeling, but I choose to ignored it instead." Lelouch said. "Now I… I hurt her really bad."
"How do you really feel about Shirley?" Ayano asked, can't help feeling curious.
"I…" Lelouch wiped the tears from his eyes, "She have been kind to me and Nunnally, but I don't want to ruin her life after what I did… she deserved someone much better than a cruel person like me." He answered.
I see… Ayano thought. She feel a bit relief from Lelouch's response, but she can't help feel somewhat responsibility for causing this event to happen.
Ayano soon wrapped her arms around Lelouch's waist and hugged him to conform him. "But I think you are much kinder than cruel person. You help stop the Refrain from continued to spread among many Japanese when those Britannian officials won't do a thing. I am not going to blamed you for what happened with Shirley, but I am sure she will get over it someday." She refuted.
"Ayano…" Lelouch said in disbelief.
"What happened to the siscon I used to know?" Ayano asked with a smirk.
This somehow causes Lelouch's eyebrow twitching. "I am not a siscon!" Lelouch exclaimed. This causes Ayano to laugh.
Ayano then looks at Idunn's Driver and Ringo Lockseed. "But I can't believe Sagara would give Shirley these…" she said.
"They aren't from Sagara." Lelouch said.
Shirley regain her sense and finds herself in the medic bed on the school.
"W-where am I?" she asked weakly.
"I am glad that you are alright, Shirley." A familiar voice said as she turn to see Rivalz.
"R-Rivalz… how-" Shirley said in confusion.
"Lelouch called me." Rivalz answered. But what really happened he accident left something at school and spotted the fight.
Lelouch…!? Shirley thought in shocked as she remembers what happened. But she thinks about what Lelouch says.
"Then why do you have to hurt someone!? How do you think Nunnally and others felt if you take someone else's life!?"
She have a down expression immediately as this cause Rivalz to notice.
"Shirley, is everything alright?" Rivalz asked.
"I… I am fine, Rivalz." Shirley said.
"Shirley… I know what happened." Rivalz said as this causes Shirley to look shocked. "If you don't want to talk about it, I understand." He assured.
"I… I tried to hurt someone close to Lulu." Shirley said.
"That is unlike you." Rivalz said. "But where did you get that armor?" he asked.
"I…" Shirley said as she tries to remember how but something messy with her head. "I don't remember." She said.
"Huh?" Rivalz looks surprised at her. "You don't remember anything?"
"What?" Ayano looks confused at her friend. "I thought Sagara only gives out Drivers…"
"I know that. But after I examined her Driver… there are some parts I don't recognized. Because this specific Driver supposed to hold back this Lockseed's power." Lelouch said, holding the Ringo Lockseed. "The Ringo Lockseed… its power is unstable than any Lockseeds I know." He said.
"Then someone else giving her a Driver…" Ayano said in realization.
"My thought is exactly the same. Someone try to uses Shirley as a test subject." Lelouch concluded with angry expression.
But the main question is who?
(Unknown location)
"I see…" Jam said, listening to the report from his agent. "It seem she wasn't about to fully unleashed the power of Ringo Lockseed like I hope." He said.
"But her Driver and Lockseed were taken by Zangetsu himself." The agent said.
Jam shrugged. "It doesn't matter since I have a lot of test subjects to use." He said. "By the way, did you see any certain green hair woman on the campus?"
The agent shakes their head, this causes Jam to sigh. "I see… she does have years of experience." He muttered to himself. "You're dismissed."
As his agent disappears from his presence, Jam's thought soon focused on Yami Gaim. "Hehehe… Never imagine you would be alive this entire time…" he mused. "This will make things more interesting." He added.

"This weekend, we're going hiking." Zangetsu announced. "To the Narita Mountains!"
"What the hell are they!?" Tamaki exclaimed.
"A Phoenix… Turtle… Tiger… and Dragon. We're dealing with the Sovereign Berserkers." Knuckle said with a grim expression.
"Time to take into the air!" Ryugen said.

AN: That is the end of this chapter. I originally have someone else to be Yami Gaim, but I changed my mind and made Rai as Yami Gaim. It seem that Shirley been used as a test subject for Idunn's power by Jam, I wonder how Lelouch is going to deal with this? Also Lelouch going to find another person who will fit to be Idunn.
