Chapter X
The fire spread across the field creating a sea of fire a lone figure stood in the chaos
"you foolish mortals can't stop me" the figure laughed evilly
"you bastard give me back my sister" another voice screamed from the other side of the flames
The figure was a man with the wings of a dragon and shark-like teeth in one of his claw he held a young girl.
"damn you!" the figure said as a rock flow out of the flame but missed the creature by a few inches
"Your Highness! Are you okay?" another person said this one boy had blond messy hair, blue eyes, a cheat plate, tunic, boots, and a heavy cloak all in black, yet his trousers seemed to be some kind of lighter black. In his hands, he held huge broadsword, the sword known as Tsuyoi Shinzou.
"yes, David I'm fine … but my sister" the Prince growled tuning his gaze to the retreating demon that held his younger sister hostage.
"shall I get First Knight Allborn sir," he asked
"yes tell Dylan to get Junsui Tamashi from my room before he gets here" the prince turned around as so David could see look his prince in the eye. His long platinum blond hair that was almost as long as his cloak. A jet black cloak with golden embroidery and silver stars. His midnight black skintight tunic that had golden lacing, shadow black trousers, and fingerless gloves made his Moonstone blue eyes almost glow.
"yes, sir" he bowed and turned to leave before a hand was placed on his shoulder. He turned his head to find his prince staring him straight in the eye
"David I thought I told you to call me Kyon, no titles with us" he gave a warm smile "now off with you … General Graves" Kyon said as he gave David a playful slap on the side of the head
The general rubbed the side of his head before jumping on his horse almost tripped while getting on the saddle though. Kyon looked at the road until his friend was out of sight, then he turned his gaze in the direction that the demon ran off in. then he charged into the forest because the field was still ablaze.
After walking through the forest he started to hear screams so he started to run in that direction the sound was coming from.
When he got there he saw five bodies sprawled out on the floor all bleeding, all dead, lifeless corpses on the ground. There seemed to be some sort of limes sprawled out on the floor … maybe they where arms … with feathers? … are those wings? Where these angels?
One of them started to move …one of them was still alive.
Kyon moved towards it carefully, he loomed over the body and flipped the angel on it's back. He placed his head on the angel's chest and listened carefully to its staggered breathing and a faint heartbeat.
"you're still alive aren't you? Don't worry I'll get you some medical help?" he whispered to it
"my… reef, I'll be fine… I just need… my reef" his voice quivered
Kyon looked around and saw a golden leaf crown in another angel's hand, it was being held protectively by the red-haired girl angle
He washed off the blood before retaking a silent prayer as a way of asking for forgiveness for stealing from the dead. He handed it back to the living angel and watched as he placed it on the boy's head
A simmering light erupted and almost blinded the prince so much so he wandered randomly in a blind gaze and tripped, fumbled, fell, and face planting into trees and ground alike "ow"
"Why were you looking?" the angel said as he ran up to the prince wings folded behind him
"you should have given me some sort of warning first" he said rubbing his eyes with both hands
"who are you, I mean I know you're an angel but what's your name?" Kyon said finally managing to see again
"oh forgive my goodness … young lord" he bowed his wings opening behind him he said
"I am General Jonathan Sol leader of Lady Palutena's personal guard"
"as expected you would be a servant of The Goddess of Light Palutena" he smiled then bowed himself "I'm Prince Kyon Shadowwalker of The Shadow Tribe" he looked around and asked "I know it's obvious but do you know these guys?" indicating the other four bodies
"this is my team … Kura, Evan, Victoria, and Levin … they were my most trusted friends" Jonathan said wiping his eyes trying not to cry
"what happened?" Kyon asked sitting in a tree nonchalantly
"well we were sent here to best a demon that escaped from the Underworld, however we didn't expect it to gain so much power and it got the better of us" his expression was a dark one full of sorrow
"we'll help you, I have a score to settle with that bastard … he has my baby sister" he growled at that last part
A light whistle was heard in the distance as a response Kyon then whistled loudly some sort of tune that the other person continued until there were three figures appearing on the horizon. As the three figures appeared revealing two men on horseback and one saddled horse with no rider. Kyon flipped out of the tree and landed standing up on the saddle of the silver main, jet black Stalin before he sat in the saddle.
"so you brought her … nice" he pet the muscle of the horse
"you sent for me sir" a young boy with silver hair, azure eyes, and pale skin. He was dressed in a shadow black cloak, a jet black tunic with metallic blue lacing, midnight black trousers, and fingerless gloves. Strapped to his side was the blade known as Shinjinbukai Shinzou. His chestnut red stallion with a silver main whined in excitement as if she couldn't wait for battle.
"who's this guy?" David said pointing at Jonathan
"angel named Jonathan" Kyon said holding out his hand as to help Jonathan up
"he coming?" Dylan asked
"of cores he coming," Kyon said looking straight forward as he forced his horse into a gallop
"yeah don't be stupid, stupid," David said before he forced his horse into a gallop
"I'm not stupid … you're stupid … stupid … hey wait up" Dylan said as he followed
All three horses stood at the top of a hill looking down at a village in ruin
"David, did you tell Dylan about what I needed?" Kyon asked looking at David
"uh … I forgot" David said as he scratched the back of his head,
"nice one stupid," Dylan said playfully punching David in the shoulder "your bow sir," Dylan said throwing a case at Kyon
He caught the case and opened it pulled out the boy and a matching quiver, putting the bow case in his saddlebag
"he's down there … I can sense it" Jonathan said eyes closed
"let's go in" Kyon gave the order and they dug their heels into the horse's flanks
He watched her sleep her silver hair curled around her face. Such an adorable face, chubby cheeks, big round eyes, snow white skin, was shown even more do to the golden lacing and little silver stars all over her ankle-length jet black dress. A tiny golden necklace that was obvious in the pitch black room. Slowly she started to stir opening her huge blue-gray eyes.
"Terence is that you?" she asked sleepily
who is she? A loud crash was heard.
"there here" a demonic voice was heard as his gaze turned to four that had just broken down the door.
"Big brother … why are you here? And why do you have that bow?" she asked worriedly
"Hailey! Are you okay?" Kyon asked pointing an arrow at creature once known as Terence
"that's not your friend that's a demon" David shouted out from behind Kyon
"I'm sorry to say this but this young girl will be my snack for today so back off" he growled grabbing the young girl and putting a claw to her neck.
"unhand the princess" Dylan screamed before he charged at the creature sword in hand.
He managed to slash Terence's arm, with a streak of pain Terence dropped the princess. David scooped her up as David jumped in front of them so he could block the left-handed slash from Terence.
"your highness are you okay? You're not hurt are you?" Dylan asked cupping the face of the nine-year-old noble.
"I'm fine Dylan … but what's going on?" she asked him
"your friend has made a deal with the devil and he kidnapped you," Dylan said glaring at David's sparring partner.
"I am never letting you out off my sight again. Do you hear me? never" he said as hugged the young girl tightly
"Hey, asshole! I could use your help here" David said blocking slashes after slashes from the creature's claws. Dylan sat the princess down in a safe place before he charged into battle sword raised. Terence jumped back and missed the albino's diagonal sword swipe. It cut open its chest pulled out the sword known as Anknku. However, before it could pull out the sword an arrow bathed in light stabbed into his shoulder. Terence turned to Kyon who was feeding another arrow into his bow. It was going to charge for him but a sharp stab to his back forced him to turn towards David. A slash on his left forced him to face Dylan, only to receive a horizontal slash to his abdomen. As slashes came endlessly from everywhere, as two or three arrows impaled themselves into Terence's back. Before they could register it a spell circle appeared at Terence's feet. A ring of light appeared and suddenly Terence was stuck where he stood.
"Big brother, what are they doing to Terence?" Hailey asked tugging on Kyon's pant leg
"we're putting him to sleep Hailey, so let me do this" Kyon said an eagle in his tone
"Hailey, can you do me a little favor? Can you remove that mask from his face please" Jonathan asked her then he turned to the fight "you guys stab your swords into the circle"
Dylan jumped up and used gravity to cause an impact on the ground while David held the sword over his head and plunged it into the ground. Kyon pulled back the silver string. As light engulfed Terence, Kyon let the arrow fly as it disappeared into the pillar of light.
Light-infused everything
"your power is too great for me to kill you so I'm going to imprison you in this statue, your spirit shall be imprisoned in your mask now call Kurayami no Kokoro, the source of your power is Ankoku the Devil's sword, but to keep its power imprisoned so that you can never get your hands on it again" a voice echoed out from beyond the barrier.
Then everything went black
Marth leaped up shivering in fear now he was awake from that dream
Sasha walked in with a cup of tea and hot chocolate
"bad dream?" she sat next to him
"kinda sorta," he said as Sasha lifted the cup to his face, grabbing the straw with his tongue he sipped carefully
"why don't you tell me about it?" she said using her other hand to drink her hot chocolate
"well-" he started
"cuz I'm concerned" she interrupted
He opened his mouth to say something
"cuz I'm your pal" she cut him off again
"Sasha-"
"because I'll always listen"
"Sash-"
"because-"
"SASHA" he screamed
"ow fine I can hear you … no need to yell … meanie" she muttered
"I have a bad feeling something's going to go down," Marth said worriedly
"okay you want some cookies?" she said holding it in front of his face
He leaned in to bite it but she pulled it away quickly
"nooooooooo" she held it in front of him again "Nnnnnnooooooooooooo" as she continued to do the same thing until Marth just decided to lean down and eat a cookie from the plate
"meanie," she said as she ate the cookie in her hand

Kyon, David, Dylan, Jonathan, and Hailey are all my OCs, Kura and Sasha are all Fire Emblem RS's OCs, And every other name there are random names I came up with on the spot. AN/ okay so this chapter seemed cool and to be honest I just really wanted to plug in some of my OC's into this story. as I think by the time I wrote this Kyon had already made an appearance in both Wolfdude16's Super Smash Brothers Combat Evolved, and in Fire Emblem Kitsune's Diamond Eye and Smash show. And yet he wasn't even planned to be here … well, actually I can't say that to be sure since I can't remember what I was thinking back then. oh well
