Chapter 10: New plans

Leliana and Hara went to the lake to wash up and noticed my armor and my undergarments strewed about the place "Where is she if she hasn't already gathered her things" Leliana said trying not to giggle.

"Probably still in the lake" Hara said I broke the surface of the water with my back to them my hair a little cleaner then what it was a while ago. I turned my head when I heard rustling by the shoreline and saw that it was Hara and Leliana.

"Please say one of the two of you have got some soap?" I asked Leliana smiled

"I do yes" Leliana replied taking off the armor that I had given her and after that she got into the lake. Hara followed suit and once the two ladies were in the water did I turn completely around, Hara could tell that I had crying regardless of the lake water running down my face.

"It hurt you that we didn't believe you and we're sorry" Hara said placing a hand onto my shoulder.

"It's okay I knew there'd be high doubts of anyone believe a far fetch tale right off the bat." I said Leliana gave me the bar of soap and I grabbed it hastily and scrubbed my body clean of the grime I still felt on my skin.

"Cailan loves you" Leliana said her eyes twinkling with adoration. I stopped my scrubbing and looked at Leliana with wide eyes, with a blush to my cheeks I turned away and continued my washing of my body.

"Leliana there is clearly some obstacles blocking them from each other." Hara said taking the bar of soap I offered to her. I rinsed out my hair and looked at both of them.

"To tell the truth I'm not all that mad at him, more with Anora then anything. Yes I love him, but I didn't know he loved me" I said wading to the bankment.

"Of course he loves you why wouldn't with the way you look" Leliana said now having the soap in her hands I blushed deeply a woman just complimented my body and I didn't know what to think about it.

"Thanks Leliana, but with everything that happened between Cailan and I is kind of hard to fix because well Anora always found her way into the middle of things. " I said grabbing my clean clothes and putting them on.

Hara and Leliana got out of the lake and dressed as well and was about to head back to camp when footsteps where heading there way. Cailan appeared and I could have sworn my breath was lost "We'll leave the two of you alone " Hara said guiding Leliana away knowing full well the human rouge wanted to witness the scene before her.

Once the two of them left I turned away from him "here to steal another kiss from me?" I asked

"no even though it's tempting " He said with a slight smirk to his rigid appearance which I didn't see.

"Then why..." I was interrupted by him speaking once more.

"Remembering that time you were what 16 years of age" Cailan said

"What of it" I said know full well what happened I had lost my virginity to Cailan that year in the barn of Highever.

"I remember it so vividly that I had always wanted to do it again with you under me and screaming my name" Cailan said coming behind me and wrapping his arms around me which I pulled away immediately and he frowned slightly.

"Don't butter me up just all the hurt you put me through can be forgotten Cailan I still remember you not doing anything to stop that announcement you had every chance to seize the opportunity to have my hand and yet you listened to Loghain!" I yelled turning to him so furiously.

"You're right I shouldn't have listened, but I was long ago betrothed to Anora before I was even born my father and him made that arrangement long ago!" Cailan shouted back his anger getting the best of him. By this time the group was hearing the argument the lake wasn't that far from the main camp.

"Then why are you..." I was stopped by his voice again.

"I'm not married to her Lia I'm not I'm a single man looking for your hand!" he said his voice losing it's ire. I was at a loss for words and watched him take off the borrowed armor he wore as well his the clothes he wore underneath and that made my mouth water. I watched him walked into the water and then turn to me "Coming in?" he asked

I got my posture back and turned from him "no just because you said that will fix things I need...time" I said and walked off. Cailan swore under his breath and ducked under the water. I reached the others and look at them or at least whose attention was to the ones who was listening which was Kelaos and Leliana.

"You two are worse then my brother" I said sitting down I notice Alistair looking at me and I knew he had been listening from where he was sitting. "We need to think about what to do next." I finished which got Kelaos attention.

"The treaties obviously " Hara responded taking a bite of an apple

"The treaties could wait awhile we need to know why Eamon fell ill." Cailan said coming up from the path that headed to the lake I notice he was shirtless, but I pretty much ignored him and remained seated.

"If we're to do that you're to stay here with the others" I ordered Cailan gave me a look saying 'like hell I'm not!' "And don't argue!" I finished going into my tent.

"I think you fucked up more than what you tried to fix?" Kelaos stated

"Oh shut up." Cailan retorted going to his own tent. Kelaos really wanted to know more of the story, but he would let that rest for now sleep beckoned him.
